The PressBox with Sam Farnsworth

Sam joins Cosmic Broadcasting as the current Sports Director for KKTV 11 News (CBS) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is Sam’s first job as a show host in radio but brings with him 11 years of professional experience working in TV News/Sports. Sam worked with the Utah Valley University Sports Information Department calling play-by-play for both basketball and baseball games on radio at wolverinegreen.com. But he’s been calling play-by-play to basketball games in the driveway and wiffle ball games in the backyard since his days at Westmore Elementary School. Sam was awarded “Best Sportscater” by both the Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) and Colorado Associated Press Broadcasters Association (CAPBA) for the year 2012 for his work at KKTV. Sam graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Utah in 2005. He loves interacting with his viewers and listeners on Twitter @samfarnsworth11.
