This week, I have a very unique conversation with Mr. Sam Boyer Groff, or as many of you probably know him, Prep Medic. Sam is a flight medic and also works with a local sheriff's department as a SWAT medic. As such, he has a lot of experience dealing with a variety of medical emergencies that many of us could hardly ever dream of encountering. We spend time talking first about what brought him into his current career position, what it takes to get there for folks aspiring to do it, as well as the very specific role that he fills in his day to day on the flight crew and SWAT team. I've been personally following Sam online for several years, so getting to sit down and pick his brain was a great opportunity.
