Chris and Taylor review the new surrealist black tragicomedy horror film Beau is Afraid written and directed by Ari Aster.  Beau Wassermann is a mild-mannered but paranoid-ridden man who embarks on a surreal odyssey to get home to his mother, confronting his greatest fears along the way.  The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Patti LuPone, Nathan Lane, Amy Ryan, Parker Posey, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Richard Kind.
