For this Past Pick Chris challenged Taylor to watch the 1986 coming of age film "Stand By Me," written by Bruce A. Evans and Raynold Gideon with direction by Rob Reiner. Based on Stephen King's novella "The Body," the film follows four boys in 1959 who go off to find the dead body of a missing boy. The film stars Will Wheaton, River Phoenix, Cory Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, Kiefer Sutherland, Casey Siemaszko, John Cusack and Richard Dreyfuss.
