Allie, a TV writer/producer and actress, has an affinity for romantic thrillers, the more salacious the better. Tyler, an entertainment reporter and critic, often finds himself drawn in despite his better judgment. Join them as they explore all the ways it’s possible to love too hard… like WAY too hard.
In this episode, Allie and Tyler do a soft launch of their Spooky Season content with the comedic-leaning “Lisa Frankenstein” (2024) starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse, written by Diablo Cody and directed by Zelda Williams. Join them as they pitch a few better versions of this movie, discuss their love/hate (mostly hate) relationship to Cody’s movies and debate whether the movie’s creature is motivated by malice or a series of oopsies.
