[SPEAKER_03]: It's political Thinking, radical Think at the far, wherever you are The politics march Shocksmith, Pearson, Jody Hamilton [SPEAKER_04]: Lord and Lord and Lord, a Jody, what day is it? [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Friday! [SPEAKER_04]: It's Friday! [SPEAKER_04]: We are very glad it's Friday. [SPEAKER_02]: It's been a short week. [SPEAKER_04]: It's been like, what, four days? [SPEAKER_02]: It seems longer for some reason. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because we're in the Trump era. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: Same thing. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's the second Trump era, but anyway. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you guys for coming in you guys are not an air you guys made the right choice Thank you for joining us here this evening.
[SPEAKER_04]: This Friday evening on any of our great radio stations If you are listening on Georgia now radio in the Atlanta area or maybe you are listening on WCPT AMA 20 Chicago Maybe you're listening on the detour talk in Tennessee or on WCPT Oh wait, does he? [SPEAKER_04]: I said that already, Mike. [SPEAKER_02]: That's all right. [SPEAKER_04]: It's Friday.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, also love you on AM-950 Thank you guys up in Twin Cities, and thank you if you are listening on progressive voices radio [SPEAKER_04]: somewhere else on the planet, or if you are one of those future people. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you very much. [SPEAKER_04]: I need more sleep. [SPEAKER_04]: You can tell I'll get some of that this weekend. [SPEAKER_04]: I will. [SPEAKER_04]: I got a case leak. [SPEAKER_04]: I just was tossing a turn in last night.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just wanted to say something. [SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes you just do that. [SPEAKER_04]: I... [SPEAKER_04]: Don't know why. [SPEAKER_04]: We all do that a little bit here, but I was, you know, I was not entirely surprised about Pam Bondy's little thing today. [SPEAKER_02]: Ted, I tell you. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I look, she, she acted the fool. [SPEAKER_04]: We all know she does that. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not surprised that Trump has taken forever to decide is he going to deal or no deal.
[SPEAKER_04]: That one.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, [SPEAKER_04]: look we've got all the news by the way if you if you guys don't get you can just subscribe for free to the politics bar dot com to the news on tap no we recommend getting the whole subscription but if you just want to subscribe to the news that's fine it's a nice quick way to look to see what are probably the top i don't like 40 or 50 your stories and of course we have the great great great i love the graphic thing did today that's that is
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, look, you know, you got the music thing, you got the ugly F, who's in the White House, President Miller, anyway, it's all there. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll start out today in the first round of the news on tap. [SPEAKER_04]: So Trump's losing war with Iran. [SPEAKER_04]: Supposedly, there is what's in the MOU. [SPEAKER_04]: Remember, memorandum of understanding. [SPEAKER_02]: Easy for you to say. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Unfortunately, not so much tonight.
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, it's the same thing that we knew. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, basically it would give 60 days to get a real deal. [SPEAKER_04]: It would open her moves. [SPEAKER_04]: Nobody pays a toll. [SPEAKER_04]: Yada, yada, uh, they're going to work on the other stuff for the next 60 days. [SPEAKER_04]: The deal will eventually end up being close to what the, uh, JCPOA was. [SPEAKER_02]: And they're going to get $300 billion. [SPEAKER_04]: Of their own money. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's their money.
[SPEAKER_02]: But didn't, didn't Donald and, [SPEAKER_02]: Everybody on Fox News give Obama some crap for 1.7 billion. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Got it. [SPEAKER_04]: Giving them their money. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, it's their money. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, well, right, but they made sure they made sure to make it sound like that Obama was giving us giving them our money. [SPEAKER_04]: Which you know, Donald wouldn't want that.
[SPEAKER_04]: He needs our money for things like putting gold leaf on horse statues that are bronze. [SPEAKER_02]: So why does it need to be gold? [SPEAKER_04]: because it's Donald. [SPEAKER_02]: Because when I read that, I'm like, they need it, obviously they probably need to be upgraded, and that's fine, but they're bronze statues, they're not gold. [SPEAKER_04]: Also, gold leaf on an outdoor thing, we'll actually flake off relatively fast. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh God, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[SPEAKER_04]: Also, it's 5 million for the gold leaf and that, but the whole process is actually 100 million plus the five. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's actually 105. [SPEAKER_02]: And didn't Donald also allow Iran to get a hundred billion dollars recently for oil or something, weren't we buying oil from them? [SPEAKER_04]: So no, allow that took some of the restrictions that we had down. [SPEAKER_04]: So they could sell that.
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so it might not be a hundred billion, but at least a hundred million. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I mean, it was it was it was a lot. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm just making sure that that no bomb had did the wrong thing. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just making sure that he did the wrong thing. [SPEAKER_04]: No, he did the wrong thing according to Trump, which according to the rest of us was the right thing.
[SPEAKER_04]: But anybody sane knows that. [SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, um, [SPEAKER_04]: Netanyahu is still being an a-hole. [SPEAKER_04]: He is still. [SPEAKER_04]: He's now ordered the Israeli army to seize 70% of the Gaza Strip. [SPEAKER_04]: They are still bombing Lebanon and killing people randomly. [SPEAKER_04]: And the Lebanese are like whatever.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is not the first time that we have [SPEAKER_04]: been attacked by idiots and we'll just keep doing our thing and you know making good food whatever we'll get past this so as well as bad Hamas is bad the Lebanese people are not bad the people in Gaza are not bad so let's get over that [SPEAKER_04]: I keep seeing people too, do the stupid ass thing of trying to blame everybody who is Jewish for BB Netanyahu, who is president of Israel, who is Jewish state, but that's different.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's completely different. [SPEAKER_04]: That would be, God, I can't even compare it. [SPEAKER_02]: Blaming the Pope for anybody. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, but he's responsible for everybody there. [SPEAKER_04]: That's a similar [SPEAKER_04]: Well, but he's, and he is legally responsible for everybody who is in the Vatican city state. [SPEAKER_04]: So I get that. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's not possible for everybody in Israel.
[SPEAKER_02]: True. [SPEAKER_02]: But the Pope is not responsible for every Catholic outside of Vatican city. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: I'll give you that. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: So you don't just go up to a Catholic and go, the Pope isn't good on blah, blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_02]: And then be angry with the, the average Catholic.
[SPEAKER_02]: Right, which is don't be angry at the average Jewish person in anywhere, even in Israel, because they're just being led by some dehal. [SPEAKER_04]: Political leader. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: To be a, even though they are a Jewish state, they do allow other religions. [SPEAKER_04]: They do. [SPEAKER_01]: They have Christians, and they have some Muslims, but yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, but yeah, it's, it's like Jesus.
[SPEAKER_04]: There are some people in the media who are saying that, that BBs worried about his election, [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if he is as much worried because they had that big blow up in there kind of pissed off. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's pretty clear that BB's like I'm going to do what I want. [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll anyway, but all that is still going on, not resolved in this price.
[SPEAKER_04]: uh... second round uh... of the news on top of the republicans failed government section uh... trumponomics continuing to fail new data confirmed americans are now spending mostly and bills faster they can then make an earn uh... because of the cost of the war with by the way exon has now worn the world-wide inventories will hit dangerously low levels unless the straight-of-arms is open
[SPEAKER_04]: So for those people who are thinking, hey, maybe he's doing this in purpose to kind of, you know, skirt the edge, well, maybe, but it's also pretty stupid. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, you can, you can take a risk if you're, it's stupid to do so when you're a teenager to take a risk with your car, or your bike, um, but you're a teenager. [SPEAKER_04]: You don't know any better. [SPEAKER_04]: Obviously these people should know better, but whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway.
[SPEAKER_02]: I know I wish I could get an electric car. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, God yeah, it would be, it's look our arses, you know, I like our, you know, but it's still, it's plug in electric hybrid, so we still use gas even though. [SPEAKER_02]: But still. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: New political poll 43% of Americans from all parties say cost of living has never been worse in their lifetimes in the United States. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I can't disagree with that.
[SPEAKER_04]: Look, there's things are not great in a lot of ways, but you do try to find this silver lining and stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: For example, in the section there, second round, the Republicans failed government section, we haven't have corruption land. [SPEAKER_04]: So the intersection in there, a federal judge today temporarily blocked the Trump regime's corrupt insurrectionist slush front from advancing. [SPEAKER_02]: Yay! [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Hello, that's good.
[SPEAKER_04]: Which there are some decent judges out there. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm surprised. [SPEAKER_02]: And some are even Trump appointed. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, which is, you know, well, their lifetime appointees, I never will understand a lifetime appointee because it's the only way to get them out as impeachment. [SPEAKER_02]: Donald can't fire them. [SPEAKER_02]: So, I, hey, yay, thank you. [SPEAKER_02]: And now I'm gonna do my job. [SPEAKER_03]: Think of it this way.
[SPEAKER_04]: They used to die at around 50, ish. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, and it wouldn't really usually get into a position of authority or power to 35. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, 30. [SPEAKER_04]: 35. [SPEAKER_04]: So basically, they were like, at 20 years, that's good enough, which, I mean, yes, when you're lifetime, life expectancy was 50 something and you got into things at 30 something, I kind of get that. [SPEAKER_02]: Now when people, well, you know, they're getting appointed older in their 50s now.
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, John Roberts was what 51 when he got appointed. [SPEAKER_02]: Same with Alito. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I still say, look for the Supreme Court rule of 18, 18 years, 18 justices on the cards, then they'd be able to get through a lot more anyway. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's, that's a thing for another day. [SPEAKER_04]: There was, we do have a whole subsection today. [SPEAKER_04]: The third round justice and injustice. [SPEAKER_04]: So, Penny, but on, we started mentioning that.
[SPEAKER_04]: I did. [SPEAKER_04]: There was a closed door house oversight hearing today. [SPEAKER_04]: And basically she threw Todd Blanch on to the bus and I'm not surprised. [SPEAKER_04]: Turned around, put it reverse and rolled over him and did it again. [SPEAKER_02]: I like the guys up in New Jersey, the ice guys that threw a guy under a truck. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, that's that's a whole different. [SPEAKER_04]: We can jump back to that one.
[SPEAKER_04]: That's that happens to be in that second second round in the Trump's Bungled Immigration War. [SPEAKER_04]: So there was a night of chaos again, I think fifth or six night at Delaney Hall in New Jersey Ice agents showed to protest or in a path of an oncoming truck because, you know, they're great citizens. [SPEAKER_02]: So pro life. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'm sure.
[SPEAKER_04]: uh... they did beat in pepper spray others uh... government might share was calling to shut down the facility which depending she may be able to do it this weekend so uh... uh... the funny thing is and and i i glad i was glad that you got this uh... the delaney hall ice detainees one of the things that they're doing [SPEAKER_04]: by refusing to work. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a piece that's from the American Prospect, Whitney Curry Wimbus. [SPEAKER_04]: She's a good writer.
[SPEAKER_04]: Talks about the fact that the geo group is using the people that they have captured in this miniature concentration. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like it's what they do to prisoners all the time they make them work. [SPEAKER_04]: Right, but they're refusing to actually do the jobs to keep the place running.
[SPEAKER_04]: Good. [SPEAKER_04]: which they're like because you're abusing hell out of us and you're not doing things with your supposed to we're not going to work even which okay I get that. [SPEAKER_04]: Meanwhile, the Trump DOJ has sued Massachusetts for refusing to issue the confidential license plates that some government agencies get. [SPEAKER_04]: They want the ICE agents say, I need it. [SPEAKER_04]: And Massachusetts, like, we can determine for ourselves, thanks.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're a state, so we don't have to do that for you. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, and what they're asking for is what federal and state officials get when they're in the criminal part of law enforcement, ICE is civil. [SPEAKER_02]: There's no crime. [SPEAKER_02]: It is a civil infarction, infarction. [SPEAKER_04]: And while they may have some authority depending on certain things to obtain for certain criminal stuff, the fact of the matter is that, yeah, it's a civil crime.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a civil misdemeanor, it's not a crime crime. [SPEAKER_04]: Yep, and they're not cop cops. [SPEAKER_02]: Nope, so not even close. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, they're still doing things like trying to seek the names of social media users critical of ice, which they've been doing for months. [SPEAKER_04]: And they launched a brand new website, the Trump regime did, Aliens.gov, they try to make it a little look all spacey and then they go in and slur undocumented immigrants.
[SPEAKER_04]: So this is, this is who these monsters are. [SPEAKER_04]: They're dumb as hell. [SPEAKER_04]: They're still threatening that they're going to stop international flights in places like New York and LA. [SPEAKER_02]: This is the stupidest thing on the planet. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, not only that, there have been some big corporations that have thrown a little weight and basically said, go ahead, boy, how do you do that?
[SPEAKER_04]: And you are not going to be able to handle the smoke that comes your way. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, airlines, hotels, it's like LA, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and sports. [SPEAKER_04]: Some of these people that they want to run their places. [SPEAKER_02]: Other places. [SPEAKER_04]: at discounts or sometimes for free.
[SPEAKER_04]: They could they could simply refuse and say no longer will we transport them or any of you Yeah, figure it out getting you truck and drive. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean obviously you know you have a truck you like to throw people in front of it So anyway, yeah, no, it's it's that is like the dumbest thing that they because most people just travel through these cities [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's look. [SPEAKER_04]: We've got more details from the news on tap.
[SPEAKER_04]: We've got some fun stuff to obviously Karen and Anita will be here. [SPEAKER_04]: We will recap all of the political. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, most of the political is from this short week and we have I I like today's drink of the day. [SPEAKER_04]: It's I can't say it's high [SPEAKER_04]: because then people will think it's like about marijuana. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not a THC drink, kids. [SPEAKER_04]: No, it's not a THC drink, but it is a good drink.
[SPEAKER_04]: We'll talk about that a little bit later. [SPEAKER_04]: It's Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: You're hanging out with Jody Hamilton and me, Sean Smith Pierce. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you very much for joining us for a wonderful evening. [SPEAKER_04]: We don't have some fun, so come on back, hang on. [SPEAKER_04]: It is Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you very much for hanging out with us. [SPEAKER_04]: It is summer time in a lot of areas. [SPEAKER_04]: summertime finally came here.
[SPEAKER_04]: Jody's actually been kind of nice here. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's 70s, 80s and breeze. [SPEAKER_02]: It's sprinkled yesterday, weirdly. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: When I was walking at like six o'clock in the morning, I was walking about. [SPEAKER_02]: The sun was out. [SPEAKER_02]: Mind you. [SPEAKER_02]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: But there were some clouds. [SPEAKER_04]: It was a little not perfect, but still springy weather, which was interesting.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, what happened was I'm walking, and all of a sudden I'm looking, and I see rain, but I don't feel it. [SPEAKER_02]: In the sun's up, no clouds. [SPEAKER_04]: So Jodie is giving you guys the weather report. [SPEAKER_04]: We do that too as well. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we do. [SPEAKER_02]: And so anyway, so I finally started feeling like a little drizzle. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: And then I walked into their half mile and it was done.
[SPEAKER_02]: It was very Hawaii weather because when I used to live there, you would see clouds, sun, that's when you get rainbows and rain. [SPEAKER_02]: And I was looking for rainbows yesterday morning because I was like, it's this is the weather for rainbows, but I couldn't find one. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, look, some people may have had rainbows where they are at. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, by the way, everybody who is coming in and joining us on all of our social media platforms as well.
[SPEAKER_04]: If you're on Blue Sky or Threads or Instagram Facebook, Substack Twitter or YouTube, we're at the Paul Tics bar. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you guys for that. [SPEAKER_04]: Also, thank you to everybody who leaves messages except for certain people who leave really long messages, which I won't actually go into.
[SPEAKER_04]: was a really long one last night and and and we will we were perfectly right about certain things yesterday we we weren't saying that uh... aging care was a defended we was saying that she was her defense both we'll talk about that story today too thank you if you are by the way texting or calling us two one three six seven seven seventy two fifty eight two one three six seven seven seven seven seven two five eight or two one three six seven seven salt
[SPEAKER_04]: I did right after we got here, I sent you the notes earlier today and I was like, hey, this is what we got from the stuff here and other stuff than in the news and tech. [SPEAKER_04]: We do that with each other and a couple of people actually had a couple of comments here. [SPEAKER_04]: Diana D on the blue in the blue sky corner of the bar here.
[SPEAKER_04]: She said on Jesse Waters Fox show, Steven Miller said of James Telerico, this man has less testosterone than Jasmine and Crocket. [SPEAKER_04]: and then the douchebag waters crudely insulted him further basically they kept doing that they've been doing this douchebag stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: We that's why we in today's graphic. [SPEAKER_04]: We've got Steven Miller and the response from the Democratic National Committee.
[SPEAKER_02]: love her so much the woman that's doing that I love it. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah the young lady who's absolutely doing that actually we've got I I stuck a couple of a couple of extra bits in the news on tap down on the to the fourth round of the polls and politics so Steven Miller basically trying to slur James tell they're trying to say oh James tell her Rico is a trans person okay wait is he trans man or is he becoming a woman that's my question.
[SPEAKER_04]: They're not specifying. [SPEAKER_04]: They're just being misogynist juice bags. [SPEAKER_02]: And because if you were a trans man, then he can't play in women's sports because he's a dude. [SPEAKER_02]: There's the thing. [SPEAKER_04]: The DNC that the young woman who actually is running the DNC account, we put, we put a little screenshot of her tweet reply right there at the top of the news on tap today.
[SPEAKER_04]: Right next to Stephen Miller's ugly mug and she just said, shut up you ugly F. Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And I guess Stephen Miller's wife just absolutely went ballistic. [SPEAKER_04]: She said it was violent. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's the thing, our friend Parker Malloy, we got to get her back in, she is a great piece that she put out late this morning, early afternoon. [SPEAKER_04]: It's the Republicans birthday boy defense is what it is.
[SPEAKER_04]: Basically, these Republican cowards try to taunt people. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Like James Chalorico down in Texas with stuff like Eurovagan, which, okay, if you're a vegan, whatever, he's even though I love Chalorico's response to that, which is, dude, I've been having, you know, meet barbecue since before Ken Paxon got his, his first indictment, right, exactly.
[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm like, you know, go, go, you, Tallahureka, but whatever, but they're trying to slurring him and he's like, what, like John was saying last night here at the bar, the Tallahureka was unfazed by this stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: The, the, the, the, the, the, but, wait, there's more. [SPEAKER_04]: So what Parker says is, this is normal for a certain class of Jack asked Republicans of which Stephen Miller is one. [SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_04]: Where they taught somebody, they pissed them off. [SPEAKER_04]: They piss them off to the point where any decent person says, you know what, I wouldn't fault you if you, you know, raise back and beat the crap out of that person. [SPEAKER_04]: We're not suggesting violence. [SPEAKER_04]: We're just saying. [SPEAKER_02]: Tell Rick, it will not do that. [SPEAKER_02]: He's a man of God.
[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I've known some men of God who, you know, they'd be willing to pick up a pew and I think Popeye Wood, but still, um, he looks. [SPEAKER_04]: So here's another thing is that this is about these Republicans do and as soon as the person raises up, raises their arm back. [SPEAKER_03]: They go, oh, don't hurt me. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm small and ugly and stupid. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm glass is new and hurt a person like me.
[SPEAKER_04]: And everybody else goes, oh my god, that person is so pitiful. [SPEAKER_04]: Now you probably shouldn't hit him. [SPEAKER_04]: And then it makes the Democrat look bad. [SPEAKER_04]: Which is, this is, this is their whole, this is a subclass of Republicans, but this is their whole M-O. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, Steven Miller's M-O. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, okay, let's hark on Harkback to John Kerry and Swift Boating. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh, yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_02]: And Wesley Clark and others that how can you disparage this person? [SPEAKER_04]: Hillary Clinton. [SPEAKER_04]: Hillary Clinton. [SPEAKER_02]: Hillary Clinton. [SPEAKER_02]: You know that was only half of the phrase that she said. [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about John Kerry's record. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And Wesley Clark's record, and they disparage them both with their records, that's what they're trying to do with Talarico.
[SPEAKER_04]: And they're holding the whole thing is whatever they have to do to anger you, to get you to react. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, and as soon as you almost react, then they go, hey, wait, wait, wait, wait. [SPEAKER_04]: You can't be mean to me. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just this poor little post, you know, no, no, no, no. [SPEAKER_02]: What they're trying to do is swift about this kid.
[SPEAKER_02]: Tell her you go you mean yes, yeah, and he is not reacting like John Kerry and his people by ignoring it He's white. [SPEAKER_02]: Are you kidding me right? [SPEAKER_02]: Kerry should have done that and and that's what they're they're trying to swift both this kid [SPEAKER_04]: But they also want that there are lots of ways the Democrats can react wrong to that. [SPEAKER_02]: I agree, but Talimico is not acting wrong. [SPEAKER_02]: That's right. [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[SPEAKER_02]: And neither did this. [SPEAKER_02]: No. [SPEAKER_02]: And she was perfect about that. [SPEAKER_04]: I want to see more Democrats do what she did. [SPEAKER_04]: I want to see more fire because he isn't ugly if. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, even Miller is so physically not attractive. [SPEAKER_04]: He looks like he's in his early 60s and he's way younger than both of us. [SPEAKER_04]: He's in his 30s, right? [SPEAKER_04]: 30s or 40s? [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, look it up.
[SPEAKER_04]: I, you know, I mean, he's, but on child, this dude is is way younger than he looks. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's, it's clear evil has really twisted way that he looks. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, he's awful. [SPEAKER_04]: He's 40. [SPEAKER_04]: This is, yes, sorry. [SPEAKER_04]: So late 30s really for you. [SPEAKER_02]: He'll be 41 this year. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so right in that corner, yeah, and Parker nails it Parker Parker it's it's a great piece.
[SPEAKER_04]: You absolutely should look at that in the news on tap, but I am I am glad that more Democrats are standing up and just saying I'm glad that the DNC account itself was like yeah [SPEAKER_04]: Um, about time. [SPEAKER_04]: The Democratic autopsy. [SPEAKER_04]: We hadn't really talked about it. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, whatever.
[SPEAKER_04]: It got released this week and basically from what I can tell it got released because some donor was, I want it released and and Ken Martin at the DNC is like, look, it is not done. [SPEAKER_04]: It is unprofessional. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a load of horse crap. [SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't even go through all of the stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: No, but whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: Fine. [SPEAKER_04]: You insist if you want to have it released, [SPEAKER_04]: I don't see any point in that.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't see any point in the whole. [SPEAKER_04]: People were all talking about, um, uh, Dr. Biden and they went to her to stop talking, get rid of the, what some people do, which I don't most most of us don't, but the media loves media loves Democrats and disarray. [SPEAKER_04]: We're not.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, and that's there there was a lot, especially of the old fashioned mainstream media They're like, but but I don't understand how to cover Republicans in this array You guys you're supposed to be in [SPEAKER_04]: So it's changed, either adopt, adapt, or adopt. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, adopt the right way of handling it, adapt, change the way that you're handling, or SDFU, because I'm tired of the mainstream media.
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, but welcome, Nourka, here, I'm gonna poke you, so you get mad and you're eating, f off, go bite. [SPEAKER_04]: We have things to do. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the whole, the whole, curveuffle, over the, of the DNC saying, [SPEAKER_02]: is hilarious to me. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm great. [SPEAKER_04]: That's that is how that is the way that you deal with bullies like the Republican and look. [SPEAKER_04]: Bullies is just the it's a spectrum from bullying to 911 terrorist.
[SPEAKER_04]: It is a spectrum. [SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_04]: But they're the same people. [SPEAKER_04]: It's just the degree to which they are trying to terrorize somebody. [SPEAKER_04]: They're all terrorists. [SPEAKER_04]: The kid who is bullying your kid at school or your nephew or your niece or your grand kid, that person is a little terrorist. [SPEAKER_04]: They are. [SPEAKER_04]: By definition, they're a little terrorist. [SPEAKER_04]: So treat them the way you do.
[SPEAKER_04]: We don't negotiate with terrorists and we also don't cry in front of them. [SPEAKER_04]: We just say, f you. [SPEAKER_02]: I have a goal and she grew up and now we're friends. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll see, and there are great ways around it, too, because once they realize that there are a lot of most bullies, and most terrorists, or people who do not, they don't have a very good toolbox in the way of dealing with emotion. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, especially dealing with emotion.
[SPEAKER_04]: But dealing with problems in general, they can't think they're way out of a wet paper bag. [SPEAKER_04]: And so for them, threatening violence is the way to go. [SPEAKER_02]: Especially children. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you don't do what I want, I'm gonna, why, whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if you notice, if a child is, you know, throwing a tantrum like that, one of the best things to do is go, okay? [SPEAKER_04]: And just kind of walk away.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I mean, like, don't, don't get mad, don't, oh, you're doing baby, just, okay? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, when children, it's funny in, like, grocery stores and I see a child doing f***, right? [SPEAKER_02]: And then I just mimic what they're doing. [SPEAKER_02]: If they're not really, no, I'm just mimicking. [SPEAKER_02]: Like they do, and I go silently. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: And their parent can't see me doing it. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: They go.
[SPEAKER_04]: right. [SPEAKER_04]: It's it's it's it's a form of mockery is what you're doing, which that's also a way to do with bullies. [SPEAKER_04]: You can mock them. [SPEAKER_04]: You can be strong and just whatever acknowledge what they're doing. [SPEAKER_04]: Don't ignore it, but just go whatever it's an outright acknowledgment and then go about your thing and when they're like, [SPEAKER_04]: So my wife, I guess, when she was three-ishers, I'm two-ishers.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think she was three, and she saw some kid at a store doing it, and she had never really done it. [SPEAKER_04]: That's not really a personality. [SPEAKER_04]: But she decided to try to... And all of my mother-in-law said, she said, Sarah, you're too old for that. [SPEAKER_04]: Stop. [SPEAKER_04]: And my wife just went, [SPEAKER_04]: there. [SPEAKER_04]: And stop. [SPEAKER_02]: No, I mean, I literally like 18 month old to your olds that are just throwing a tantrum.
[SPEAKER_02]: And I just make the same face they're making. [SPEAKER_02]: And then they're like, why are you doing that? [SPEAKER_02]: That's the little brain going, wait, what? [SPEAKER_02]: And they calm down and then the parent looks at me. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just doing what they're doing. [SPEAKER_04]: In psychologists, the same thing is mockery.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's the same thing as when they say something stupid and we're like, okay, tiny Johnson, and then we just go on because they're like, hey, you can't call me that. [SPEAKER_04]: It gets them out of their mode of, I'm gonna beat you until I get what I want and stop them and make them do something else. [SPEAKER_04]: Which, okay, fine. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad that Talarico is strong like that. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad that the DNC comms folks. [SPEAKER_02]: I am too.
[SPEAKER_04]: And in fact, what they what they've actually said in some, they've suppressed releases and stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: I think the one that Ken Martin put out. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, she's on Ben Macellic. [SPEAKER_02]: They choose on the Mitis Touch. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that. [SPEAKER_04]: That was the, the, the, the comms girl who did the show up you ugly F to Stephen Miller. [SPEAKER_04]: But yes, she was, she was out on the minus touch broadcast.
[SPEAKER_04]: And then, but what Ken Martin put out was very simple is so there were some of the people who were looking for a more formal response and he put it in a pressure and he says, look, he says, [SPEAKER_04]: What worked for the Democratic Party multiple times in the last 25 years was when we got out and we got into the states and we got in areas where we haven't been and we've competed. [SPEAKER_04]: And those people need money to compete.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, I don't have a big bank account back here, but that's what we're doing. [SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna compete everywhere. [SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna win more seats everywhere. [SPEAKER_04]: This thing is whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: Somebody wanted it. [SPEAKER_04]: It's out there. [SPEAKER_04]: Great. [SPEAKER_04]: You can look at it if it's a big deal.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm ignoring it because we're going to worry about focusing on what's going on now and not what happened a year and a half ago or two years ago. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay? [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: And just, and people go, oh, that's a little, and I'm like, look, I admit that I'm, I'm one of the people who, you know, I wasn't a huge Ken Martin fan of her, but I kind of, I'm like, okay, that is the appropriate way to deal with that kind of thing.
[SPEAKER_04]: And it's the appropriate way to deal with bullies. [SPEAKER_04]: It's to stand up, be strong, and keep kicking ass. [SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I'm I'm glad and you know just to be blatantly honest even Miller isn't ugly Yeah, he really is not an attractive physically or emotionally human being Yeah, he's pretty much ugly on the inside. [SPEAKER_04]: I'll go on the outside. [SPEAKER_04]: I came out Ugly at dinner time.
[SPEAKER_02]: I can't he's never been attractive just ask anybody that went to sound Monica high with him I was gonna go there too, but I'm glad you got there with me right it when he had hair [SPEAKER_04]: He's always been just he's a nasty nasty person. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what happened. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it didn't like him either. [SPEAKER_04]: That's entirely possible.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's not very likable. [SPEAKER_02]: No, he's not. [SPEAKER_02]: He's an awful human being. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, so let's not worry about him anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: We got plenty of other things to talk about. [SPEAKER_04]: And I Karen and Anita will be in in a little bit.
[SPEAKER_04]: And we had this drink for the folks who get hot, not that no. [SPEAKER_04]: not like who who go to high places show there you go a drink for people who go to high places that's it well we we will actually do that drink next it is the drink today on your Friday night with joney and me and you here to politics bar fresh in your current drink we'll get you that drink today coming up next hang on [SPEAKER_05]: We'll be right back after we pay some bills at the politics bar.

[SPEAKER_04]: that get you the podcast ad free you can listen any time that you want you can take us with you whenever and also get you the news on tap and you get you the drink the day with the recipe check it out it's there at the politics bar dot com jaddy's doing the head bob thing my mom is to freak me out when she's yes how do you do that yeah when you're little you're like wait a minute you're you don't have to move in your head this way that's weird
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't have the motor control that we do when we're adults. [SPEAKER_02]: Because I used to do it like forward and she's like, that's not how you do it. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm aside. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's interesting when you're trying to learn how to do things. [SPEAKER_04]: Some people, I'm one of those who, I just, I'm like, okay, teach me. [SPEAKER_04]: I, I'm perfectly fine with whatever it is somebody teaching me.
[SPEAKER_04]: And even looking a little foolish because I realize, if you're not a professional, [SPEAKER_04]: and you try something. [SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of like with languages. [SPEAKER_04]: When you go other places and they speak another language, many people prefer that you're at least trying. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, absolutely. [SPEAKER_02]: I told you the story when I was in Italy. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, of that one. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: And so I was thankfully parents getting mixed.
[SPEAKER_02]: We were in Rome, it was on strike, which is why we left earlier. [SPEAKER_02]: But so we were in this piata and around this very famous fountain, and I saw this little shop that had clothing in it, and the exchange rate was insanely good at the time. [SPEAKER_02]: This was 1982, so I mean it was like a thousand lira was like a dollar. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean it was insane, right? [SPEAKER_02]: And so anything we bought, my dad was like, that's cool, you know, it's cheap.
[SPEAKER_02]: I go into the store and I really wanted this jacket, this leather jacket, and but it came with a pair of leather pants, and I was like, not with my body, and so I didn't speak Italian, the lovely girl that was working in the counter didn't speak English well enough, either. [SPEAKER_02]: And so I said, probably with Fonsei, and she said, we.
[SPEAKER_02]: We figured out can I just buy the jacket with that the pants and and as soon as she understood what I said she said Wait, and then hugs everywhere and I got this beautiful leather jacket for seriously It was like a $400 jacket for like $30 [SPEAKER_04]: Look, it seems like that may seem like a simple story, but it actually makes sense. [SPEAKER_04]: And it makes a multiple numbers of points, including the fact that people in politics right now just want to be heard.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: That's a big part of that. [SPEAKER_04]: But it also is the fact that if you're unafraid of trying things that you don't know how to do, you know, you don't know how to be the age that you are today, because you've never been this age before. [SPEAKER_02]: Of course not. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: So if somebody says act your age, you go, I don't know how, I've never been this age.
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, a friend of mine used to date somebody, he's now in his 60s, and he was in his 50s then, and he was dating somebody in her late 20s, which was, dude, seriously, way too young. [SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, I can't go out with you anymore. [SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, why? [SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, you're way too young for me. [SPEAKER_02]: And she said, well, I've lived the life of 40 year old. [SPEAKER_02]: And [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's a hard life for whatever she was 27, I think. [SPEAKER_02]: And I told her, I said, color when she's 40. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: There's there is something to be said for wisdom and experience. [SPEAKER_04]: Which of course brings us to the drink of the day today? [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, Jodi, what is the drink of the day today and what is the inspiration for it? [SPEAKER_02]: It is a mountain man cocktail. [SPEAKER_04]: Inspired by.
[SPEAKER_02]: Edmund Hilary of New Zealand and his surpa, tensing nor gay of Nepal, becoming the first people confirmed that we know of, obviously, to reach the summit of Mount Everest on May 29, 1953. [SPEAKER_04]: at approximately 11.30 a.m., which yeah, that's uh, look, no one in everybody died going up there. [SPEAKER_02]: They still die going up there.
[SPEAKER_04]: And now they have this, they just had a stupid thing where they had a whole bunch of people like doing a congeline up there or something and people are like, are you kidding me? [SPEAKER_02]: That's, it's still they need oxygen to get up there. [SPEAKER_02]: It's $29,000 feet. [SPEAKER_02]: You need oxygen. [SPEAKER_04]: Also, we include tensing Norway simply because of the fact that a lot of people, for whatever reason about it.
[SPEAKER_04]: Because they're like, well, he was a brown person and I'm like, well, without the brown person, you're white men wouldn't have gotten to the top of them. [SPEAKER_02]: I love that picture of the two and look at how skinny they both are. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, and it seems, it seems to be that they actually had a really good it sounds like relationship and friendship, yeah, that, that this is a really nice history.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm glad you put it in there, even with the big captions under the pictures, you guys should absolutely check it out. [SPEAKER_04]: But yes, something about climbing a mountain is not something that most [SPEAKER_04]: went out to visit my dad for the first time in Colorado.
[SPEAKER_04]: and uh... by myself that is and and um... so me and a friend went out um... stop to see a couple of girls along the way and shocker and uh... and so we go up and miles my dad's like hey you know let's let's go you know kind of i want to show you this thing by i think it was the color of the river but it was higher up in the morning really or somewhere like that somewhere yeah and i was like okay and and i took i don't must have been ten steps forward or at least ten feet forward in a forward direction
[SPEAKER_00]: But it was, it was rocks. [SPEAKER_04]: It was really hot on my dad call out to me and he goes, hey, what, and I turn around and I look and I, oh, that's a long way down. [SPEAKER_04]: And he goes, that's why I wanted to stop you. [SPEAKER_04]: Because it looks a lot different from this. [SPEAKER_02]: Going up is easier than going down. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Is like, oh, right. [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't experienced. [SPEAKER_04]: Don't I got experienced?
[SPEAKER_04]: So it's, you know, anything you do. [SPEAKER_04]: And if people aren't experienced in their trying, something, I mean, you know, laugh with them. [SPEAKER_04]: Don't laugh at them. [SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_02]: Help them out. [SPEAKER_02]: If you know better, just have honey. [SPEAKER_02]: Do this. [SPEAKER_04]: It's easier if you're laughing together and having fun. [SPEAKER_04]: That's something. [SPEAKER_04]: But people should try stuff. [SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
[SPEAKER_04]: you learned stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: If you haven't made a drink, for example, you wouldn't know how to make a mountain man cocktail, but Jodi does, Jodi knows. [SPEAKER_04]: So how do we, in fact, make a mountain man cocktail, Jodi? [SPEAKER_02]: What kind of old fashioned glass do we need? [SPEAKER_04]: Of course, pre-chilled. [SPEAKER_02]: Yay! [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: A shaker, some ice, two ounces of bourbon. [SPEAKER_04]: Whatever your favorite is, right?
[SPEAKER_02]: A third of an ounce of Gifford Crem De Peche de Vignet, [SPEAKER_04]: which I did not know either. [SPEAKER_04]: I like the fact that you linked over to the difference guy to do that when it's something I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: It's basically peach liquor. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there you go. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, Pesh, and two thirds of an ounce of lemon juice always freshly squeezed, third of an ounce of maple syrup. [SPEAKER_02]: So sweetness to this. [SPEAKER_04]: OK.
[SPEAKER_02]: a six minutes of moan and ginger syrup, so there's a little tart to that one. [SPEAKER_02]: Nice. [SPEAKER_02]: A half ounce of egg white pasteurized or three dashes of fiebre, there's fie foam cocktail foamer, which is just fun to say. [SPEAKER_04]: Say that by the fie-forer. [SPEAKER_02]: I know, it's just fun to say. [SPEAKER_02]: And you garnish with a skewered crystalized ginger, so it's a ginger drink. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a ginger drink. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a ginger drink.
[SPEAKER_04]: ginger and peach. [SPEAKER_02]: My hair is getting different. [SPEAKER_02]: It looks good. [SPEAKER_02]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: It looks good. [SPEAKER_04]: It still looks good. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I like the grates. [SPEAKER_02]: Very pretty. [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't look good on this, but it's very pretty.
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so what you do is you add all the ingredients into your shaker with ice and shake until it's cold, strain it back into the shaker without the ice and dry shake it, which we have only done a few times because of that. [SPEAKER_04]: a few times over the because because it's there to actually make the phone. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's there for the egg whites.
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, she's straight into your fashion glass filled with ice and then you garnish with this skewered crystallized ginger and it sounds kind of yummy. [SPEAKER_04]: I like this one. [SPEAKER_04]: I like this one quite a bit. [SPEAKER_04]: It's it's good. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a mountain man cocktail. [SPEAKER_04]: And if you guys missed any part of it, you know what what to do. [SPEAKER_04]: Just go subscribe to the politics bar dot com. [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[SPEAKER_04]: We got to talk about this because this is in the fifth round today. [SPEAKER_04]: There's a few things in there in the media section. [SPEAKER_04]: ABC has filed. [SPEAKER_04]: It's early renewal. [SPEAKER_04]: Remember how I've said that we've been standing up a little bit more. [SPEAKER_04]: They absolutely are. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, an O in broadcast in media terms is known as owned and operated.
[SPEAKER_04]: They have eight stations that they own and they kicked Brendan Carr in the Jimmy as they should file it while filing for this and saying you're attacking us. [SPEAKER_04]: But whatever Jack asks, here's your paperwork. [SPEAKER_04]: That's what I mean by standing under food bullies. [SPEAKER_04]: I love that. [SPEAKER_04]: Barry Weiss, we talked a little about this yesterday, fired multiple 60 minutes journalists in the past. [SPEAKER_04]: It's an absolute disaster over there.
[SPEAKER_04]: And here's the key kicker. [SPEAKER_04]: Cecilia Vega was their first Latino correspondent, I believe, on 60 minutes. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Confirmed that the ideologically driven management from Weiss and Ellison is censoring 60 minutes reporters. [SPEAKER_04]: So why would you want to watch it? [SPEAKER_04]: Because it's not legitimate anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: I won't, but I'm just saying for the folks who go, but I still like it.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not the same thing, just because it's the same package doesn't mean what's inside is the same. [SPEAKER_04]: They have replaced your folders crystals with, I don't know, dried dog crap. [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's just, it's, it's, it's, just because it's brown and crystallized, don't mean it's coffee, just saying.
[SPEAKER_02]: I got to meet Mike Wallace years ago, and I remember his producer Whispering in his ear to ask my sister Carrie a question that she said to them, I'm not going to talk about this. [SPEAKER_02]: This producer was young, she was in her 30s, and she kept Whispering to him and he goes, I'm not doing that.
[SPEAKER_02]: I promised her I'm not going to ask this question and he looked at his good so girls because it was a puff piece on my mom right it wasn't like a deep thing on my sisters and me it was just it was a puff piece right and she told the producers I'm not going to answer these stupid questions about 1979 I'm just not doing it right and so he was like he literally looked at this is producer going stop it [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good reporter and understood the program and then you all did us for smoking. [SPEAKER_02]: But the whole thing is if you have a good producer they'll do that and he is kind of he was kind of one of his own producers too He was and he was like, no, I promise this person that I would not go back to 1979 1979 Almost 20 years at that point and he's like no, this is not about her.
[SPEAKER_02]: This is about her mother [SPEAKER_02]: right and her sisters and no and it was so cute because we saw him the next night because my mom was doing a show in in New York and all three of us are smoking outside and he looked at all of us because he had just quit I mean he quit several years earlier because boy he was a smoker and he looked at all of us going seriously and we're like I'm sorry Mr. Wells we were like I'm sorry sir and you guys please quit and well I did
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, and I'm glad. [SPEAKER_04]: Look, yeah, it's, I, you know, I got Randy to quit. [SPEAKER_04]: Come a little bit over the years. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, you know, I'm still going to come back. [SPEAKER_04]: Look, people can always jump back on the boat. [SPEAKER_04]: I hope you don't. [SPEAKER_04]: If you are quit and smoking, it's a good thing to not do. [SPEAKER_02]: Quit almost 25 years. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's, it's, it's a good thing not to smoke.
[SPEAKER_02]: It is. [SPEAKER_02]: Don't, don't, don't start a kids. [SPEAKER_02]: It's very difficult to quit. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: So there are a lot of better things you can spend your money on these days and given the fact that how expensive smoking is Oh my god, it's like $20 a pack. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it ain't worth it. [SPEAKER_04]: Trust me.
[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, look, we do have we do have some more entertainment stuff to talk about obviously We've got some more political stuff to talk about and we've got Karen and Anita coming in And we're gonna recap the stuff that happened this week, which [SPEAKER_04]: Can you believe it was only Tuesday where that runoff election happens? [SPEAKER_04]: And Ken Paxton is, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Ha ha ha ha. [SPEAKER_04]: Republic of party, you are totally shackled with that dude.
[SPEAKER_02]: Good luck. [SPEAKER_02]: Good luck. [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway. [SPEAKER_02]: Look. [SPEAKER_02]: We'll have Karen. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_02]: Anita, the lettuce now. [SPEAKER_02]: What's going on in Texas? [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah, we absolutely. [SPEAKER_04]: We got to talk to Anita and find out what's going on there. [SPEAKER_04]: the top of the hour, so if you haven't fresh in your drink, you can do that, but we recommend doing that after.

[SPEAKER_04]: You aim to please then come back, then fresh in your drink, and then we will have a more political discussion for you, because after all, this is the politics bar. [SPEAKER_05]: We'll be right back after we pay some bills at the politics bar. [SPEAKER_05]: Get a call. [SPEAKER_05]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_05]: Get a call. [SPEAKER_05]: Get a call.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hopefully you guys are to look, we have fun. [SPEAKER_04]: We sing to each other. [SPEAKER_04]: We talk about, you know, entertainment and movies. [SPEAKER_04]: Dude, we're still, we got more stuff from the entertainment section. [SPEAKER_04]: We got to talk about some of that stuff.
[SPEAKER_04]: Including the ridiculousness and DC that is happening at this end of the bar. [SPEAKER_04]: I guess I apologize for it. [SPEAKER_04]: It's not my fault. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not your fault. [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, that's me. [SPEAKER_02]: Always at Stephanie. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not my fault. [SPEAKER_04]: You know what I was referencing.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want to keep going because there was something that so this happens every year here in Washington, D.C. and some people do not know all the little Vegers, you didn't know how it ended so that this is how this particular event ended last night here.
[SPEAKER_04]: Let me let me just play 30 seconds of this or so. [SPEAKER_00]: Tessa Reconter. [SPEAKER_00]: T.S.S.R.A.A.C. [SPEAKER_00]: on T.R. [SPEAKER_00]: T.R.A. [SPEAKER_00]: T.R.A. [SPEAKER_00]: T.S.A. [SPEAKER_00]: R.P.S.A. [SPEAKER_00]: R.P.A. [SPEAKER_00]: R.P.A. [SPEAKER_00]: U-A-Y-B, Paremia, P-R-O-E-M-I-A, M-L-N-C-A-E-T, Terragun, P-R-H-E-L-I-N, Homeland, H-R-M-L-Y-N, Chicken-Goon-Y-A, C-H-I-K-U-N-G-N-Y-A, B-R-M-O-M-O-C-R-I-P-T-I-N, C-O-S-S-A-W, That kid's amazing!
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's, that is one, ask it, I don't care if all those words let alone how to spell them. [SPEAKER_04]: You and I have a, a large vocabulary, we, we will say that you and I both have a very large vocabulary and even, we're kind of, you know, wow, wait a minute, what? [SPEAKER_02]: Even if I knew those words, I couldn't spell them that quickly.
[SPEAKER_04]: That young man Shreiparik is a 14-year-old from California, just one of these scripts, national spelling B, and that in a lighting room. [SPEAKER_04]: So here's the deal is, so they do the spelling B, right? [SPEAKER_02]: I think the normal stuff we go, hey, can you put it in a sentence? [SPEAKER_04]: That kind of spell fart, F-A-R-T fart. [SPEAKER_02]: They don't start with that, though, because these kids are way smarter than that. [SPEAKER_04]: Right.
[SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, I think they're allowed them to age 14, and eventually it gets down to two people. [SPEAKER_04]: And they used to keep doing like a spell off word. [SPEAKER_02]: And they would say put it in a sentence because they were difficult words. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, and they would try to get in even more remote weird ass word. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, you know, weirder and weirder and weirder words.
[SPEAKER_04]: And you're like, okay, now what they do is they do a high-speed spell off. [SPEAKER_04]: Whether they're just saying the word and you have to bond and that's so. [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, that's how they do it. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, first off, even if I knew the words because they were so fast.
[SPEAKER_04]: I couldn't have spelled them that quickly either, even if I knew the words, I can guarantee you this one, that most of the people who will be at the UFC event on the White House lawn, they wouldn't even know where to start. [SPEAKER_04]: They wouldn't even be able to spell for it. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, Donald probably doesn't. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, some other good news, by the way, speaking of the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, on the lawn there.
[SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, last check. [SPEAKER_04]: There were, I think three left. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, but everybody, Martin McBride. [SPEAKER_04]: Remember, I was worried about that. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I just put it on a thing. [SPEAKER_04]: She's like, I was, I was, like Morris. [SPEAKER_04]: I was told something else. [SPEAKER_04]: This is not it. [SPEAKER_04]: Morris day, young MC, the Commodore's Brett Michaels final out.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: He was like, um, he's claiming he was threatened, but I don't think he was threatened. [SPEAKER_02]: I think he just used that.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't care if he's a we we had somebody else come in on that too uh L.C. [SPEAKER_04]: in the blue sky corner of the bar over here she said you know it'd be cool to prep Michael's was telling the truth about you know that he was threatening everything wise bowing out but uh you know like all the other mega cult members he's a bigoted delusional fit [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that about him.
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know that about him, but I'm saying I think most of them it sounds like they all got the same story told to them. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: That this is going to be a state fair for the U.S. and wouldn't that be a plan? [SPEAKER_02]: Blackwing Gerald Ford did it in 76.
[SPEAKER_04]: right and i'm sure that was the the impetus for the idea and they're all like okay that sounds fun yeah and then they find out no it's supposed to be a big maga pepper alley and they're like whoa whoa whoa whoa man i like i you know like my mommy's to say what you ran her shop you know i don't care about that because uh uh you know red by the blue uh everybody's money is green and that's why a lot of these people you know signed on they're gonna get paid but i think they
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to use this phrase, but I'm going to pull out fast enough, they were paid to deposit, they will return, said deposit. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: But I don't think they're going to be there. [SPEAKER_04]: One other note by the way, before we get back to the news on tap, Netflix has finally set the different world's sequel premiere date. [SPEAKER_02]: We're trying to get Don Lewis back on. [SPEAKER_04]: I am so freaking happy about that.
[SPEAKER_04]: This is going to be one of those things where I'm like I will absolutely want to do this. [SPEAKER_04]: It'll be Super, Super, I do by Hey Lady Girl. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, the clapping Karen just comes. [SPEAKER_04]: Where's Anita? [SPEAKER_04]: She was here for a second. [SPEAKER_04]: She got a lady's room. [SPEAKER_04]: I think she did. [SPEAKER_01]: She must have, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: She might be a part of her.
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm going to try to get Dawn back on the show to promote
[SPEAKER_04]: different world so yeah yeah which look we we had on loose in here last year was last yeah was last fall actually it's about nine months ago or so and she said it's gonna be a little while and uh you know wait for it but i'm not gonna ask her back on to help promote it she's such a love she's great and our friend our mutual friend is playing uh this where i met her this weekend and i can't go so probably dawn's gonna be there
[SPEAKER_04]: Messager anyway and be like, look, I can't see this weekend, but look, we need you to come back to the bar. [SPEAKER_04]: So, uh, so we can have somebody we haven't seen a couple of weeks. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing okay. [SPEAKER_01]: How are you? [SPEAKER_04]: Not bad. [SPEAKER_04]: Were you on Richard show this morning? [SPEAKER_04]: I missed it if you weren't. [SPEAKER_01]: I was. [SPEAKER_01]: I see. [SPEAKER_01]: I was.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, seven o'clock. [SPEAKER_01]: I wasn't able to go in studio just because we did have my own goal celebration of life. [SPEAKER_01]: And so, honey, I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_04]: A little too close. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_04]: How, how, what, what happened? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, this is so he's been gone for a few months. [SPEAKER_01]: Luckily, we have a big family and I actually, yes, big, big family.
[SPEAKER_01]: My grandfather said that it took him four kids before he discovered what was causing it. [SPEAKER_01]: He's coming in, we got to talk to you about your state of need, but we're talking to Karen about it all the way right now first, so Yeah, so he anyway, but yeah, so it was of course like you know 28 people at one time and they They were like, look you guys are gonna have to get into the room or you're gonna have to go over there, but you cannot be in the hallway Like we are
[SPEAKER_01]: you're issuing warnings to us and so anyway, but he passed so he passed several months ago, but they had the celebration of life today, so and it was very beautiful. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, honey, I'm so sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: And this is the first of six siblings that went. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, so they've been very lucky. [SPEAKER_01]: My dad is going to be 88 and so and he's the oldest. [SPEAKER_01]: So the fact that they had each other for as long for 85 years.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that is my dad's my dad's side. [SPEAKER_02]: My dad was the second youngest of six and his older brother died first. [SPEAKER_02]: No, yes, first and then his younger sister died and then his second old his oldest sister died after that his second oldest sister my Aunt Betty died at 100 years old wow yeah amazing
[SPEAKER_04]: I had I had a little bit of one to I was as I was putting stuff together day before I came to the bar I was monitoring a celebration of life I've I've mentioned him before my high school choir teacher Pete John everyone Benjamin Nicholas Peterson also known as Pete yes he had that many middle name so confirmed all so many confirmations he was raised
[SPEAKER_04]: look he was a great guy and he he taught probably he must have been about five thousand or more students he started in the sixty seven when Lincoln East High School where I was born yeah and and he he taught away through two thousand then he went over to Nebraska Westland taught there for about fifteen years um he was in barbershop quartet his wife Margo um she was great um and he had Martia uh kind of kept him from Martia lesson she was his a company as for years she just you know he he directed she played the piano um
[SPEAKER_04]: she had a lot more than that because she's freaking brilliant too. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, anyway, they had a great service, uh, today and like, and, uh, very nice. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry for you. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I also went to a service last week. [SPEAKER_02]: It's all about dead people now. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's stop that. [SPEAKER_02]: I know, right? [SPEAKER_02]: This is what it says. [SPEAKER_04]: People that we respect.
[SPEAKER_04]: We people that we love, that the people who really taught us things sometimes, sometimes in our family and sometimes elsewhere. [SPEAKER_04]: And, [SPEAKER_01]: And the thing of it is we're all going through day to day stuff and so it's like life goes on. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean even all of the stuff that's going on, you know, and, you know, we still have to deal with day to day stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: We have to deal with loss.
[SPEAKER_01]: We have to, you know, and celebrate people's lives.
[SPEAKER_04]: And Anita we were we had you in last week while Karen was out and yeah, and then of course There was a whole shemiel this week that that whole runoff a let sets sets sets sets of runoff elections down there Yeah, yeah, and while everything else and in the the world of politics was going on Everything stops at least it seemed like partially on Tuesday because everybody's getting back from the holiday And then there's that election
[SPEAKER_03]: that the guy who married you, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, yes, Texas has open primaries, but it that's not what happened. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Ken Paxton actually won. [SPEAKER_03]: I think because his base just showed up. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, it was excited about Conan. [SPEAKER_03]: He, he seen as kind of, I mean, he doesn't, excited anybody. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: I see, no, I was going to say it's a war course, but he doesn't really, he isn't really, he's just, he's a puppet.
[SPEAKER_03]: But the Republican party, he just does what he's told. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that's, and that's, and that's if Paxon won't do it Donald Paxon. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, no, of course, Paxon even more so, but Paxon, he, he's just crazy. [SPEAKER_03]: He's just like Trump. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's just that he thinks he's a mini Trump. [SPEAKER_04]: We said that earlier this week and the thing with Paxon is, is that he'll do what Trump says.
[SPEAKER_04]: And then when Trump's arteries win, then you have people like that who are completely unhinged and they'll do whatever the hell they think they can. [SPEAKER_04]: and get out with it. [SPEAKER_01]: He hasn't been, I mean, Paxton has always been corrupt though. [SPEAKER_01]: So he's always been corrupt. [SPEAKER_01]: He was Trump before Trump.
[SPEAKER_03]: He's one of those people because Trump didn't just, I mean, the thing is, the Republican Party, like these people in the Republican Party were always existed. [SPEAKER_03]: And they've always been corrupt like that. [SPEAKER_03]: Trump is just kind of easy embodiment. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: He is the extreme embodiment. [SPEAKER_02]: He's the permission slip. [SPEAKER_02]: That's right. [SPEAKER_02]: He will.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm I'm so excited to see James Tallarico get out there and can there. [SPEAKER_04]: The the insults they're trying to lob it him. [SPEAKER_04]: He's a. [SPEAKER_04]: He's a. [SPEAKER_04]: He's a. [SPEAKER_04]: He's a. Oh, my God. [SPEAKER_04]: And he's trans. [SPEAKER_04]: I love. [SPEAKER_02]: He's a trans man or trans woman. [SPEAKER_02]: I haven't decided. [SPEAKER_02]: He's transitioning apparently.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's, well, he's transitioning from a current state legislator to the U.S. Center. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what it's transitioning. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, at least I'm just sticking on message. [SPEAKER_03]: She just continues to pound home. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, we're, they're trying to divide us. [SPEAKER_03]: They're trying to distract us. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, but he's not, he's not ignoring this. [SPEAKER_04]: No, it's not ignoring.
[SPEAKER_04]: He's very standing up to the bully and he's just going to do it. [SPEAKER_04]: I've been eating barbecues since before you were driving the first time. [SPEAKER_04]: So we'll have a fight. [SPEAKER_03]: That's how you do that. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: We love that. [SPEAKER_03]: And then right before we talk about that. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah, we will absolutely look. [SPEAKER_04]: Karen is here. [SPEAKER_04]: Anita is here. [SPEAKER_04]: Joe is here.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm here. [SPEAKER_04]: And you guys are here. [SPEAKER_04]: It is Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: To with our recap of the week of news. [SPEAKER_04]: Which.

[SPEAKER_03]: I caught just even the most black and dirty. [SPEAKER_03]: There you go. [SPEAKER_04]: It is Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you guys for rejoining us here at the politics bar. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, we were having fun talking about stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
[SPEAKER_04]: People are willing to do for money. [SPEAKER_02]: Stop. [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Margo needs money, so do I. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's go. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, we are we are here not just for the fans. [SPEAKER_04]: We're here not not only for the fans, but we're here for all of the people who are All of the fans by the way. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's trying to work that in there, but thank you, by the way Remember you guys can get the podcast any time at the politics bar dot com.
[SPEAKER_04]: Karen and Anita are here We're talking about the stuff from this last week. [SPEAKER_04]: Obviously that is one of the things we talked about just before you guys got into the bar So obviously the little entertainment thing [SPEAKER_04]: So who is who is left at this freedom to 50 cops? [SPEAKER_03]: So right and vanilla ice that's right. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no kid rock. [SPEAKER_03]: And that one guy I can't remember what his name is, but he's a rock.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, I wouldn't be surprised, but no, he's probably just, I'm sure they hadn't booked them. [SPEAKER_04]: I know, yeah, here's the thing, is that is now that the people who are still bagging on on on Rob. [SPEAKER_04]: I know him a little because like vanilla ice vanilla ice because my wife used to he he's a contractor he's a reason contractor that's supposedly according to a number of ratings and things on stuff he's actually pretty honest, but he [SPEAKER_04]: It's weird.
[SPEAKER_04]: One of the other contractors who worked with him on something came in and more lifers like so is he just, you know, he goes ahead and he does this stuff and he'll like turn on the radio or hum his music, you know, not his music. [SPEAKER_04]: How much of music that he's that he's interested in and just work. [SPEAKER_03]: But you hear about these people all the time. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this is nice. [SPEAKER_03]: He seems like such a nice guy, you know, and they're mad.
[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, but that tells me I don't want to know. [SPEAKER_03]: I want to know the performance for him. [SPEAKER_03]: You put all the stuff on the right. [SPEAKER_04]: He does perform there. [SPEAKER_04]: And this is this is from people that I know down there from other stuff that I know in South Florida, Rob will do almost anything for money.
[SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, that's it's not going to only for you right, but but that I mean, he will do whatever because he's this was a I can't remember where I saw the interview. [SPEAKER_04]: Was it a paste magazine? [SPEAKER_04]: Something like this was this was a number of years back and they were just visiting people who, you know, where the hell are they now kind of thing? [SPEAKER_04]: And something that was a little, I can't remember the outlet, but it was a little weird for them.
[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, and he just said that he's like, look, if somebody pays me to do it, and this is known in South Florida, if he stops, if you stop paying him in the middle of the, of the remodel, he'll stop. [SPEAKER_04]: He'll leave this stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: But he was told to say, I say, baby, in the middle of them, killing people in Minnesota. [SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, they're party. [SPEAKER_04]: I look, you and I, we all have issues with that.
[SPEAKER_04]: And I look at that, but he'll look at it and go, okay. [SPEAKER_04]: So I go spend half an hour pretending to be who they think I am because they don't, they don't know me for no, no, no, Sean, he literally posted a thing. [SPEAKER_02]: I am happy to perform for this. [SPEAKER_04]: Sure, that's hell. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm sorry, but that's some excuse. [SPEAKER_04]: You can, you know, when you're a performer, that's what you anyway.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, they're all performers. [SPEAKER_02]: They're all, they have to be the kind of people we would be for money. [SPEAKER_02]: He's a horse, he's a horse, he's a horse, he's a horse, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's a good person. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't just have a person, I don't have anything to do with. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't care what Rob is, but Rob is a D. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, right. [SPEAKER_03]: He is going to win this one, Sean.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm not saying he has the kind of ethical standards that we would like to have. [SPEAKER_04]: No, no. [SPEAKER_01]: It's more than just ethical standards. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, where is your integrity? [SPEAKER_01]: Where is your decency? [SPEAKER_01]: Your validation for you? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: He's performing. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
[SPEAKER_01]: I say baby when they're killing people and when they're routing up children and throwing people back in their windows. [SPEAKER_03]: This is this is this he supports fascism. [SPEAKER_03]: He is exactly I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how he's I don't know how he's supporting fascism by that. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I'm sure for them like that. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, but Kristi, no, what's what's your boyfriend's name that that was.
[SPEAKER_03]: But you guys, that's what's been which game was that was. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, that's that's to me. [SPEAKER_03]: To me, to me, it's the same thing. [SPEAKER_04]: To me, it's a similar thing in the sense of, but you do have power.
[SPEAKER_04]: Your celebrity is your power, and if you, you know, and if you have reach, if you know, if you're in one of these celebrities like most of these celebrities, they have for this freedom to 50 concert, which all back down except for floor, right?
[SPEAKER_04]: Right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right, right,
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, horrible to do that, but I've known people who are willing to do their bad people. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, Lonnie joke, he goes, can he even sell out the whiskey, which is like 400 people? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, probably not. [SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: Probably not. [SPEAKER_04]: No, but that's, but he's like, hey, we're going to do the whiskey right now.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I don't judge that in the same way that if, you know, look, I still like Bill Cosby's old comedy from back in the day. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: But that's different. [SPEAKER_03]: You can like, you know, ice is all music. [SPEAKER_03]: But that doesn't mean you think he's a good person. [SPEAKER_03]: And then you should defend him. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, I like defending him from any ethical means.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying, if that's how he wants to be as a performer, if he wants to be, well, somebody's signed me up and I'm willing to do it. [SPEAKER_04]: And I'll go all in on, which seems to be a case. [SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [SPEAKER_04]: I cannot subscribe that standard of ethics.
[SPEAKER_02]: I am going to because this is why Brett pulled out. [SPEAKER_02]: This is why Morris stay pulled out. [SPEAKER_02]: This is why. [SPEAKER_02]: Mark. [SPEAKER_02]: Mark. [SPEAKER_02]: They were. [SPEAKER_04]: It sounds like they, it sounds like most of the different all of them were sold a bill of goods. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's very nice. [SPEAKER_03]: So it's very nice. [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm sure he was like one hour. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, he just jumped in.
[SPEAKER_03]: So that's it. [SPEAKER_03]: That's worse. [SPEAKER_01]: And now he's still there and he's still there. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, now I shouldn't have that now. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he should pull out on that one, but whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: I just, I don't know, well, I should have pulled out. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, correct exactly exactly, but I do I find it just I'm like, I do wonder in two ways. [SPEAKER_04]: First of all, this whole 350 thing.
[SPEAKER_04]: How do you, if you're, if you're the guy who is is because it's obviously it's not the White House themselves. [SPEAKER_04]: It's doing it. [SPEAKER_04]: It's not there, even their little external group that's doing it because they don't know who to freak who to call, they're working with some local promoter is what they're doing.
[SPEAKER_04]: They're working with a local promoter who has the numbers of all of these people who are listed who knows how to get a hold of 10 or 10 more days and marching to the side. [SPEAKER_03]: But they are really, I mean, going to the bottom of it. [SPEAKER_03]: Why would you? [SPEAKER_04]: Why would you as a local promoter? [SPEAKER_04]: Why would you work with these people and not be honest?
[SPEAKER_04]: Because now, when there's somebody else that wants to come through, they're like, I'm not going to work with that promoter because he lied to those people. [SPEAKER_03]: So I'd be like, that's the only people that will be a promoter for Donald Trump. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: It's the worst of the worst. [SPEAKER_03]: These people that don't lie at lie. [SPEAKER_03]: The rioters, they're just slimy. [SPEAKER_03]: I only know the best.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, why did you? [SPEAKER_04]: Because it sounds like from the note that more is stay put out in the one that Martina McBride put out. [SPEAKER_04]: It sounds almost identical. [SPEAKER_04]: They were sold this on the camera. [SPEAKER_03]: And the comment it worse. [SPEAKER_03]: But they're playing in Washington. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I was on a Friday night in 1776.
[SPEAKER_04]: They did a thing. [SPEAKER_04]: Gerald Ford had a thing. [SPEAKER_04]: Didn't they where they had, like, didn't give a Carter, Jimmy Carter. [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's Joe Ford in 76. [SPEAKER_02]: Because Jimmy Carter was running, right? [SPEAKER_04]: He didn't get in till 1776. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you need a for it. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: The 166 to 20 was in July for 76. [SPEAKER_02]: I remember.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's like, okay, and I'm sure and they were like, oh, it's like a national state fair thing. [SPEAKER_04]: And you're like, okay, I'm sure they were like, okay, well, sure what we did 15 years ago. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right. [SPEAKER_03]: So, okay, I'm sure that that was that was probably how it was sold to them. [SPEAKER_03]: It was more sold. [SPEAKER_03]: It was just performing in Washington.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And they had no idea that it was some sort of celebration that Trump was putting on for $250. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's, and that's where I say, look, you got the promoter. [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, why, why would you, why would you be willing to? [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: The Scott Bayo, Ted Nuget. [SPEAKER_03]: Ricky in the National Anthem. [SPEAKER_03]: Ricky, what's his face from? [SPEAKER_02]: You know, Schroeder.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Ricky Schroeder. [SPEAKER_02]: They'll be there, John Boyd, you know what I'm saying? [SPEAKER_03]: It was quick Maca, didn't he? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's true. [SPEAKER_03]: You didn't put your Republican party. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yes, because they weren't extreme enough for him. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, my God. [SPEAKER_02]: But we got, we got the Ricky Schotters. [SPEAKER_02]: We got the Schotters, we got the Schotters.
[SPEAKER_02]: We got the John Boyd. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, Karen has down there. [SPEAKER_04]: She doesn't only have Paxton in her neck of the woods. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, Anita, Anita. [SPEAKER_04]: Pardon me. [SPEAKER_04]: God, I got that mixed up. [SPEAKER_04]: It's Friday. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm tired and you got Wendy down there. [SPEAKER_04]: When Ben Yana and see although they're going to go back up to okay see for game seven. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Last night.
[SPEAKER_04]: No, that was ugly. [SPEAKER_04]: The spurs were just up in the thunders. [SPEAKER_04]: I knew you would be happy. [SPEAKER_04]: I knew you would get a smile on her face. [SPEAKER_03]: I was really worried because they're a good team, the Thunder. [SPEAKER_03]: They're really a good team. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: But I was just surprised. [SPEAKER_04]: But I heard, who was it?
[SPEAKER_04]: Scott VanPelta, saw a little clip of him talking about this, because he also talked about my Husker softball team. [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't put this in the news on Tap tonight. [SPEAKER_04]: So, Husker softball last night, softball, by the way, in case you don't know, only go seven innings. [SPEAKER_04]: I know. [SPEAKER_04]: I know. [SPEAKER_04]: A lot of people. [SPEAKER_04]: bottom of the 10th. [SPEAKER_04]: One of the captains for the Nebraska corn huskers.
[SPEAKER_04]: She got up there. [SPEAKER_04]: Bam knocked a two rod and Homer. [SPEAKER_03]: Bam by Arkansas. [SPEAKER_03]: They went out 10 innings. [SPEAKER_04]: They went 10 innings and at the bottom of the 10th, we said, Ark is a home. [SPEAKER_03]: goes first go. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there you go. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no, I knew you'd be, I knew you, you mentioned last week when you were here that you're, you know, excited about that. [SPEAKER_04]: So this is a game sevens are always fun.
[SPEAKER_04]: Those that, that's going to be a good time. [SPEAKER_04]: That'd be good. [SPEAKER_04]: And NHL series, it's going to be pretty good too. [SPEAKER_04]: So where I'm sure our friend Charlie Pierce, the wonderful former sports writer and my boyfriend, your, yeah, they go way back to you. [SPEAKER_02]: The husband knows it's fine. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he does. [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, honey. [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, honey. [SPEAKER_02]: What's wrong with you? [SPEAKER_05]: What's wrong with you?
[SPEAKER_05]: The politics bar. [SPEAKER_05]: Okay. [SPEAKER_05]: Just had to ask. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Back to the news on tab. [SPEAKER_03]: Back to some of the political stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: So did you folks see this stuff about the Pam Bondi interview today? [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't see the interview, but I heard it. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, because it wasn't video tapes. [SPEAKER_04]: That's part of the reason Democrats are pissed off. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
[SPEAKER_04]: wasn't on tape. [SPEAKER_04]: That is her oath. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: She wouldn't answer whether Donald Trump knew about um, Epstein's crimes prior answer. [SPEAKER_03]: Any questions? [SPEAKER_03]: I'll show you something. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Harvey.
[SPEAKER_04]: Dylan, who is an awful person, she has some other DOJ lawyers, where it looks like both the committee members and the lawyers that they hired asked Bonnie questions, but Bonnie was as usual, um, [SPEAKER_02]: a scene at Tuesday. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: That's that's Jody is correct. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, but anyway, um, she was combative. [SPEAKER_04]: Didn't really answer stuff.
[SPEAKER_04]: The funny thing is those that she threw, uh, Todd Blanch under the bus. [SPEAKER_04]: She did. [SPEAKER_04]: And then basically drove the bus back, uh, in reverse and on. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, basically. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, absolutely. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, absolutely. [SPEAKER_04]: Files. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that was Todd's, that was Todd's. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Nothing to do with. [SPEAKER_04]: It was all on to, oh, releasing, oh, they talked to Todd.
[SPEAKER_02]: She is just trying to wash her hands and she's so happy that she's rehired and the water doesn't go hanging over her hands. [SPEAKER_03]: She's on some. [SPEAKER_03]: A.I. [SPEAKER_04]: Presidential panel. [SPEAKER_04]: It's an advisory panel for A.I. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Which basically is a nothing burger shield. [SPEAKER_04]: She may get a stipend or or because she's now been found to have cancer.
[SPEAKER_04]: She may actually be getting some of her health care coverage. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm doing federal stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: So it might be kind of a gamey that way. [SPEAKER_03]: might have it a hard time finding a job, that too.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and the other thing is that she did make the comment several times, and I saw different lawyers on different things and in writing I read about it that they're all like, well, she legally can for a lot of the stuff that they may want to ask, be like, I can't answer it because I was the A.G. in presidential and global [SPEAKER_04]: Donald's double handy, J. [SPEAKER_04]: Right, Jody. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Just saying.
[SPEAKER_03]: Well, they just throw around that executive privilege thing. [SPEAKER_03]: It's just, you know, anything. [SPEAKER_04]: But I just thought of the biggest thing about Pam Bonnie, like, absolutely trashing blanch. [SPEAKER_04]: Just talk to Todd, talk to Todd. [SPEAKER_04]: And now the Democrats are like, OK, let's talk and cash. [SPEAKER_04]: She talked to she, she gave cash a little bit of shade, too. [SPEAKER_04]: But she was like, OK, and so the Democrats go, OK, fine.
[SPEAKER_04]: You want to do that? [SPEAKER_03]: bring in those two and that would be under oath show what it's have cash for to us and been you know around I haven't seen him what is he who is I like leaving his body so what is he getting out and when I was going that way right exactly did you have that big lawsuit against the Atlantic right was it that you know if that's going to happen drop it already on a part yeah [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, speaking of lawsuits, uh, so that ridiculous, E.G.
[SPEAKER_04]: and Carol, it's not even technically really an investigation, because now that the guy that he said was going to head it up out of Chicago, who also screwed up the whole thing with a broad view six. [SPEAKER_04]: Yep. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, that guy. [SPEAKER_03]: He says it. [SPEAKER_04]: He's nice. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, there's, there's no. [SPEAKER_04]: But some information has come out really this is a bank shot to get it read Hoffman.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Who is a he's a one of the founders. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's one of the founders of LinkedIn. [SPEAKER_04]: He's a billionaire and he's a democratic donor. [SPEAKER_04]: He had given money to the fund that was at the lawyers that had made just happy to use for her. [SPEAKER_04]: Wait, and they were like, they're like, hey, would you want to put some of this to her fund? [SPEAKER_04]: He goes, yeah, sure, that's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: She didn't even know it.
[SPEAKER_04]: So it's, yeah, it's so, yeah, that's going to turn me up. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: For Trump, it's probably just a likely a two for one. [SPEAKER_04]: He's like, oh, I hate her and I hate him. [SPEAKER_04]: So whatever, it's just, it's garbage, but the media spent a lot of time on it this week. [SPEAKER_04]: So we didn't have cars. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's go. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we want to other stuff that we can talk about. [SPEAKER_04]: And we will.

[SPEAKER_04]: And how it looks now like a, you know, hillbilly trash, uh, you know, yeah, you know, yeah, it's what it's just.
[SPEAKER_02]: And wait, he wants the ballroom, but he's going to have an open air event. [SPEAKER_02]: So why ballroom? [SPEAKER_04]: I still think I still think Jojo was spot on with that.
[SPEAKER_03]: She's like So if you need a ballroom to be safe And you've got this thing and you've got to open it over here and he goes to place call if he gets all these things He goes to those you have see thing events all the time Come on, there's gonna just travel with the ballroom [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but he said we there was a ballroom there is a what there and there's no there is still but well no there There is actually a ballroom in the the residence. [SPEAKER_04]: There's a small room.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's one of the things we never had that but there is a ballroom like a block and a half away [SPEAKER_04]: That too. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, there's plenty. [SPEAKER_04]: There's plenty. [SPEAKER_04]: There's plenty, there's plenty. [SPEAKER_04]: They don't need ballroom. [SPEAKER_02]: There's plenty. [SPEAKER_02]: We don't need them. [SPEAKER_02]: We don't need them. [SPEAKER_04]: We don't need them. [SPEAKER_02]: We don't have enough room for my balls.
[SPEAKER_02]: How about you? [SPEAKER_04]: You make the ones that your cats play with. [SPEAKER_04]: Right, Jody. [SPEAKER_04]: I got it right. [SPEAKER_04]: That's what. [SPEAKER_04]: That's what. [SPEAKER_04]: Those ones. [SPEAKER_03]: And the reflecting pool. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, my God. [SPEAKER_03]: You said your husband was here. [SPEAKER_03]: You said your husband was here. [SPEAKER_03]: You see he'll around you and he.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: There are a couple weeks ago when he was just saying, oh, my guy couldn't believe it with all that. [SPEAKER_03]: Which is like a gaping hole. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's here's the thing. [SPEAKER_04]: The people asked you guys asked me in the break. [SPEAKER_04]: You were like, hey, do you ever go down? [SPEAKER_04]: I used to when when Barack Obama was president.
[SPEAKER_04]: I actually, uh, I like to walk by the White House, and I would, um, the, the, the ones that you could see and the ones that you couldn't, but you knew that they were secret service. [SPEAKER_04]: Cause that's usually how it is on Pennsylvania Avenue, which by the Pennsylvania Avenue is closed right now because they're redoing the park across the street, uh, Lafayette Square Park. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, but, um, [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I would, I would, I would thank them.
[SPEAKER_04]: I would literally be like, hey, thanks for, you know, protecting our press. [SPEAKER_04]: I would, because I like that. [SPEAKER_04]: Most of the folks who live in the, the DC Metro area, as we call the DMV DC Maryland Virginia.
[SPEAKER_04]: And let's we have to go down downtown for for something in DC we don't most people in any area now don't we'll go we'll go basically if you think of it like a great big round clock When it was good sure we would we would go through the center and we would cross in and we go downtown now people go around. [SPEAKER_04]: People go round and then sure I'll go up to a door to a town and all this all right.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but let me ask you something, we're supposed to have this 250th anniversary before she should dig right what I mean that the Washington DC is a mess right now. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, they can have any of this finish before they people start coming there to look to [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they'll slap it together. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the pool will be done. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit don't because they messed it up.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they'll slap something together on it to make it look kind of okay. [SPEAKER_04]: That's just, I mean, that's what they're going to do. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's. [SPEAKER_02]: And the White House will not be done because why I feel sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel sorry for the capital police in the metro. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel sorry for the capital police in the metro.
[SPEAKER_01]: that have to cover, you know, have to be there, because they're not going to be the best people there.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it's going to be a lot of poop, it
[SPEAKER_04]: has event by the way power to the people which is going to be October 3rd of this year at the weather post pavilion in Colombia, Maryland, which is, you know, this is outside beltway. [SPEAKER_04]: This is just a list of some of the people that he's going to have at the power of the people festival. [SPEAKER_04]: By the way, I believe he just got public enemy added. [SPEAKER_04]: who fighters, Dave Matthews, Toma Roller, of course.
[SPEAKER_04]: Joan Viaz, a public enemy Jack Black Dropkick Murphy, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike Search to Canyon, who else is going to be on the bill? [SPEAKER_04]: Brittany Howard, Taylor Momsson, the Linda Linda's, Daryl DMC McDaniels is going to be there. [SPEAKER_04]: There's a few others going to be in there as well. [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be, oh, and also special guest Bruce Springsteen, just for the rest of the day.
[SPEAKER_04]: The boss is just going to stop by because you know, whatever, but yeah, no, he and Tommy [SPEAKER_04]: But I laughing they they they can't even get the remaining I don't remember a million and we have that list of people So we don't have to celebrate our 250th birthday [SPEAKER_04]: on July 4th. [SPEAKER_04]: I would rather celebrate it quite frankly on, say, October 3rd. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm good with celebrating on October 3rd.
[SPEAKER_04]: And in fact, actually, the folks from indivisible will have to see if we can get them back in again because, um, [SPEAKER_03]: We have a new March on June 14th, right exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm like I'll be there March exactly and it won't be to celebrate Donald Trump's birthday It'll be to celebrate all of us. [SPEAKER_04]: So if you're celebrating on June 14th, that's great if you're celebrating on October 3rd That's fine, too.
[SPEAKER_04]: I just like maybe you want to scale it back a bit for the fourth and you know, and and you know, if you got something great in your area [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying don't come to DC, but I'm saying, you know, maybe you want to come to, I don't know, say Columbia, Maryland or wherever it's it's the area. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a great point. [SPEAKER_03]: It's having the people that are going to be there, I hope they're prepared. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, please, you're all.
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, whether or not, whether or not you like for the lies, it's like, okay, vanilla ice or Bruce Springsteen, not a hard choice, not a hard choice. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna grab Michael's stuff, isn't it? [SPEAKER_02]: Or maybe he finally bowed out, thank God, because wanting wanted to play in his band. [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, if he plays that, you are not in his band. [SPEAKER_02]: But now he's still good.
[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever, I mean, he's a few, but my whole thing is just the fact of, this is them.
[SPEAKER_04]: this is who they are and our sad they are embarrassing they are disgusting and this is us we've got everybody from public enemy and the food fighters we got killer mike we got cypress hill we got the drop kick Murphy's we are we are a cop yeah we are America exactly and i'm glad so i'm like you want to celebrate on June 14th and a no-king's rally near you by god that's great and look it's cheaper that way you don't have to do gas maybe just go down to the corner in your neighborhood
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to, you know, if you want to go on October 3rd, you want to go to Columbia and Columbia Maryland, that is a DC suburb, and you know, celebrate with it great. [SPEAKER_04]: But I just didn't like, you know what, I'm not in the mood. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, that's my dog. [SPEAKER_04]: Hello Christopher. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, he's like, hello, I woke up. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just, I'm just not in the mood to celebrate our nation this summer.
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm happy to hear it, sir. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's depressing, really. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, that he has three [SPEAKER_04]: during this time. [SPEAKER_04]: But you know what, he shouldn't take, he shouldn't take away all of us are patriots, just as much or more than any of these maggots out there. [SPEAKER_04]: This is like this. [SPEAKER_04]: These guys are patriots. [SPEAKER_03]: They're trying to destroy this democracy. [SPEAKER_03]: One hundred.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they're not. [SPEAKER_04]: They're patriots, some, they are for whatever reason. [SPEAKER_01]: Some people are like, they're only, they're Christian and name only, they're patriots. [SPEAKER_01]: And they hate this kind of hate democracy. [SPEAKER_01]: Right, period. [SPEAKER_04]: And if, and I'm like, that's fine, but I don't have to celebrate with them. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't, I don't, I don't have to go party with them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Just because I, just because I don't know what they, what are they celebrating, though? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I don't like, if you think about it, what do you sell it, gas is literally, gas is how much [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, I mean, yeah, like over $5. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's not really cheap. [SPEAKER_03]: It's relative, it's relative, yeah, it's like $4 here. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, but it's normally, what do you guys do? [SPEAKER_03]: Seven, seven.
[SPEAKER_04]: What Jordan you got like what seven dollars out there seven dollars. [SPEAKER_02]: It's yeah, depending on what the grade you're getting. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's about that here six accepted almost seven dollars out here, too. [SPEAKER_04]: So they ain't celebrating gas. [SPEAKER_04]: They celebrate the cost of groceries. [SPEAKER_04]: Those are all up. [SPEAKER_04]: They celebrate an inflation. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they could it's that's up to.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're not celebrating diversity in the world. [SPEAKER_03]: Kind of standing in the world now, right? [SPEAKER_03]: Timothy Snyder said we're committing super power suicide. [SPEAKER_04]: Tony Snyder's correct on that. [SPEAKER_04]: And look at the way this, the, the, the whole thing with the Iran war, it's an embarrassment in everybody knows that Donald Trump has lost this war. [SPEAKER_04]: He lost this war within the first we had. [SPEAKER_03]: Right away.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And they're really do the deal. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, they don't do the deal. [SPEAKER_04]: No, first of all, even if they agree to something this weekend, it's a memorandum of understanding. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a... [SPEAKER_04]: We're agreeing that we will agree to work on a deal. [SPEAKER_03]: And we're paying the $300 billion for a war we started. [SPEAKER_04]: A very money. [SPEAKER_04]: It's their money.
[SPEAKER_03]: No, it's a reparations exactly to rebuild. [SPEAKER_04]: They want us to sell that. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, no, that that is that's going to be an argument. [SPEAKER_04]: But they do want they do want a bunch of their own money, which it's like, OK, well, that's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: But the point that you made earlier, Jody, is the fact that Obama let them have what like billion [SPEAKER_03]: 1 billion 1.6 billion. [SPEAKER_04]: That was good money there.
[SPEAKER_04]: Whatever amount that the ratings are going to get from Trump is going to be way more than a billion six. [SPEAKER_03]: Even if it is their own money and you're like, okay, for him to save face, but it's not their own money. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not going to save you. [SPEAKER_02]: It's been frozen for years and it's their own money. [SPEAKER_03]: I thought they were starting a fund. [SPEAKER_03]: This is what I heard. [SPEAKER_03]: They were starting a fund.
[SPEAKER_04]: None of us know all the full details because this is just going to be a memorandum of understanding. [SPEAKER_04]: Details to follow. [SPEAKER_03]: What about the uranium? [SPEAKER_03]: What about all the rest of it? [SPEAKER_03]: Do you tell Donald Matt too? [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Do you tell the father? [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Lisa Obama got this step down to, you know, just uranium.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's always like, it sounds like one of the things that they have somewhat agreed on is that if Donald Trump agrees to do this, that they will allow the streets of Hormuz to be open, that they won't do any, any fees or tolls, it sounds like, um, poof, that's the way it was.
[SPEAKER_03]: It sounds like, [SPEAKER_04]: Well, right, exactly, but it sounds like Putin and she kind of laid on them and about that and so no fees no tolls, which we told you guys that was going to happen and the other thing about it is is they seem to be willing to be like We're willing to deal with you the United States separately from Israel.
[SPEAKER_04]: So if Israel would prefer that they stopped, you know, killing our folks that that which I'm like whatever your folks you're supporting and lemon on or terrorists, but whatever, but [SPEAKER_04]: They're willing to be like, you know, what clearly Donald and B.B. [SPEAKER_04]: are not in the same page anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: So at least you're going to deal with one thing and whatever we'll all do.
[SPEAKER_04]: But so much of this is all T.K. [SPEAKER_04]: As we say in media, it's it's to be discussed and figured out. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not in the same page, but B.B. [SPEAKER_03]: just calls up Donald Trump and Donald Trump, you know, like when he had that deal. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, it sounds like there's a lot more hostility, though, between the two of them now, and and Oh, please don't as in control of this. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly.
[SPEAKER_04]: And she's because he's a because Putin is Donald's boss and Putin is also baby's boss. [SPEAKER_01]: So this is this is what I think, you know, when we when we get out of this and we get the wit the midterms and numbers that we need and then we elect a democratic president. [SPEAKER_01]: There's no moving on for the good of the country. [SPEAKER_01]: And I would say that if I'm the ally, if we're allies, they need to make demands of us.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, get rid of the filibuster, you get rid of the electoral college and you get your, you know what, together. [SPEAKER_04]: Get rid of the college, it is. [SPEAKER_04]: Make the races on the illegal. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, look, look, we, we'd like to keep you guys around for another round, which we usually do on Friday, but I know you're busy.
