[SPEAKER_03]: It's political. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, critical. [SPEAKER_01]: You think it's far away, but you are the politics part. [SPEAKER_03]: The shot's myth here, St. Joni Hamilton. [SPEAKER_06]: It's Friday, Joni. [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, Emily. [SPEAKER_06]: She's two hours until I can go to sleep for a weekend.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, just for the whole weekend just just for the whole weekend you have to wake up and you know, well, you're not in for staff next week But you know, we will have shows next week as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I mean, it's you know, it is indeed a good Friday Not literally it's good Friday if you're a Christian. [SPEAKER_04]: That's a that's a thing anyway. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you by the way if you're joining us No, no, what were you saying? [SPEAKER_06]: I asked Christopher.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, why is it called good Friday? [SPEAKER_06]: It seems like a bad day when the guy died [SPEAKER_06]: Well, okay, yeah, but he told me that the reason that good is badly translated is because it was holy day. [SPEAKER_04]: It was well, I get that, but also, you know, if it was named by the Romans, they would have thought it was good. [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, they would have been like, that guy that pain in the ass.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, they talking about love and being nice to each other.

[SPEAKER_04]: uh... so does uh... the far right that claims to be jibis go on shon with a right no lovely affiliates no that's fine exactly i have to welcome i have to welcome our good and great wonderful affiliates thank you by the way you are listening on any of them like for example the detour talk in tenancy or maybe you were listening on a m nine fifty mini apple is a call maybe you're in georgia listening on georgia now radio or maybe you are listening in chicago on a m a twenty w c p t or on progressive voices radio worldwide where ever you happen to be or

[SPEAKER_06]: I just got an email from John that I just saw. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_06]: It's like it's 120 today, right? [SPEAKER_06]: And I'm like, no, it's 12.30. [SPEAKER_04]: No, it's actually a six that, well, seven.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, he's here in L.A. [SPEAKER_06]: So he's, you don't get all the dirty things. [SPEAKER_04]: What time it is, it all depends on what time it is, where they're listening. [SPEAKER_04]: Because remember, we have these podcast people. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Listen, and all kinds of different times. [SPEAKER_04]: So it could be, or we have it. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's different. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm just let him know. [SPEAKER_06]: No, it's no, it's not.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's good to see you all the time, buddy. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: But look, it's a little bit different time. [SPEAKER_04]: We will have John Fugle saying dinner. [SPEAKER_04]: We fight days with Fugle saying, and Karen and Anita will be in as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Of course, we do have a very good drink of the day today. [SPEAKER_04]: You can tip your head to this one. [SPEAKER_04]: No, really.

[SPEAKER_04]: If you know, you know, and if you don't, well, you should subscribe at the politicsbar.com. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, John, we got the news on tap. [SPEAKER_04]: And since John will be in some time here and out. [SPEAKER_06]: That may be if he's on with the ladies, it will be interesting. [SPEAKER_04]: All the fun. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that'd be a party. [SPEAKER_04]: So look, we all, we like having a party. [SPEAKER_04]: It's Friday after all.

[SPEAKER_04]: Some updates as much as we have them on the war in Iran. [SPEAKER_04]: There is a, there was a plane. [SPEAKER_04]: Actually, were two planes down as far as we know. [SPEAKER_04]: One, there is some of this confirmed. [SPEAKER_04]: One of the things confirmed is one of the planes. [SPEAKER_04]: did get down. [SPEAKER_04]: We actually have a piece of wreckage you can see in the news collage in the news on tap. [SPEAKER_04]: One pilot for sure was rescued.

[SPEAKER_04]: There is conflicting reports on whether the second one was rescued. [SPEAKER_04]: There's also another plane that was near the streets of Hormuz, that one went down and that is also debated as to whether the pilot is rescued. [SPEAKER_04]: Of course debated by the time did you listen to this?

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know, that's [SPEAKER_04]: very confusing I know but that's it's part of life radio these things happen all over the place um the long and short is that the the war in Iran is not going well no it is not and and it's just I mean hexeth keeps firing good people [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, well, there's there's that word. [SPEAKER_04]: See, that's that's the domestic war inside the White House. [SPEAKER_04]: And then there's the war in Iran.

[SPEAKER_06]: So, I mean, I know the same though. [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, if you fire good people, when we're at war, it seems like a bad idea. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, this is true. [SPEAKER_04]: It absolutely is a bad idea. [SPEAKER_04]: Here, let's catch up with the other side first. [SPEAKER_04]: So, Egg Seth was also doing crap over there as you're the one that pointed this out to me that I hadn't even realized.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, double tap strike is as you go once and then you go back and do it again right do you know the reason why? [SPEAKER_06]: to make sure that you got it right? [SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_04]: Double tap strikes are actually much worse because of the reasoning for them. [SPEAKER_04]: A double tap strike in a military concept, and this also goes for terrorism as well. [SPEAKER_04]: So the first strike is to hurt people, and then you want to bring in the medics.

[SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's when you come in and you do a second strike is to hurt the people who are coming in to help the people. [SPEAKER_04]: which is just extremely cool. [SPEAKER_04]: Hexeth called for that on a civilian bridge. [SPEAKER_04]: Do you know your infrastructure by the way? [SPEAKER_06]: No, that's a war crime, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's a war crime. [SPEAKER_06]: And then the double tap is even worse.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, Jody's double right. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's yeah, that's that's where you look at that and go no no no no no Meanwhile some of the stuff we didn't even put in there because it is in the live updates They the live update today brought you by NVC news. [SPEAKER_04]: You can scroll down and they're their live blog on that, but [SPEAKER_04]: So if you scroll down, you'll find out that they've said basically we've weakened Iran's capabilities, but nowhere near gotten rid of them.

[SPEAKER_04]: They still have lots of missiles and we're running out of easy military targets, which as you can see by us having losing two planes today, not exactly the greatest thing in the world. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, Bob Ceska mentioned yesterday on his show, because I've talked to him so many times this week. [SPEAKER_06]: I get it. [SPEAKER_06]: Yesterday on his show that there are seven million Iranians [SPEAKER_06]: getting into the guard right now. [SPEAKER_06]: They're volunteering.

[SPEAKER_04]: They have their national guard. [SPEAKER_06]: This is not a seven million Iranians are volunteering to join the guard that are not already in the guard, which means do not mess with the cut. [SPEAKER_06]: If somebody came to us, we would do the same. [SPEAKER_06]: I'd be like, I'm going, can I go, you know, I'd be the guy.

[SPEAKER_04]: especially because everybody's like why did you do this and that the best half-assed explanation that they can come up with is well, BB told me too. [SPEAKER_04]: which is not, not acceptable, not acceptable, what's more, Trump's belligerent behavior has really taught America's opponents elsewhere to seize on choke points, like the straight-of-horse moves, which Iran says they're going to move to take permanent control.

[SPEAKER_04]: There's been kind of shifted kind of, it was kind of a fence line between neighbors that don't necessarily like each other, but they agree not to fight over it. [SPEAKER_04]: But because of this now and ran as like screw you guys. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to take over the whole gate. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, cuz The fence is technically on my side of the line. [SPEAKER_06]: So them and oh, man. [SPEAKER_06]: That's that's what they're saying.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm going to screw you guys I'm going home. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to take the fence and you know what I do. [SPEAKER_06]: We just so screwed up Don't worry about it. [SPEAKER_04]: It's so important to remind people of who is to blame on this because and you inevitably the mainstream media has been getting so many things wrong And they'll be like, well, who's fault is it?

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know Democrats had a [SPEAKER_04]: No, Republicans control the Congress, both houses, Republicans control the White House, and technically Republicans control the Supreme Court of the first time. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: So don't give me this. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, Democrats don't give me this. [SPEAKER_04]: By the way, US oil has its biggest one-day price increase in six years for the driving up the cost of gas the pump earlier today.

[SPEAKER_04]: I checked to believe it was $4.8. [SPEAKER_04]: I believe

[SPEAKER_04]: uh... let me double check and see here just to make sure oh no i'm wrong four o nine point one oh it's gone up since you last thought yeah since that there you go that's there you go in that nice oh and by the way if you think that everybody's being heard on this they can get uh... one of the stories in the news on tap in that first round under the cost of war section uh... company backed by Donald's idiot sons is looking to sell drone interceptors to other nations in the gulf

[SPEAKER_04]: region, who happened to be being attacked by a ran. [SPEAKER_06]: Hunter Biden's laptop would like a word. [SPEAKER_04]: He's right on that one too. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, what the hell? [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, my God. [SPEAKER_04]: But thankfully, though, Senators Warner and Shift, yep, one of them in mind, one of them yours. [SPEAKER_04]: Yep. [SPEAKER_04]: There we go.

[SPEAKER_04]: Now, leading an investigation of insider trading at the SEC and the DOD, and they are looking to the incident with Heggsess Broker. [SPEAKER_04]: So if you think Heggseth is safe, [SPEAKER_06]: He's not well, I mean he's not a woman so he's safe for now [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but remember, yesterday when we were talking with Sherry, in fact, when we were talking with rude, we said this a number of times. [SPEAKER_04]: It's the whole thing of Trump acting like a mob boss.

[SPEAKER_04]: And you can take a piece as long as you give your piece to him. [SPEAKER_04]: But if you're taking a piece for yourself, like Hague Seth apparently seems to have been, no, that's not. [SPEAKER_04]: See, his sons can make a buck off of the killing of other people in this war. [SPEAKER_04]: But your sons can't.

[SPEAKER_04]: see the differences or if you remember the modern republican motto i've got mine f u just remember they all think that and that's what domal things he can get his let's screw you on getting yours and if you try to get yours without given in his you get nothing by the way Lonnie just handed me a gas receipt uh... six thirty nine who that's a nine a gallon out there for you [SPEAKER_04]: for California, there's no bad. [SPEAKER_06]: No, I mean, it's up to seven, but it was $88.35.

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, Ouch. [SPEAKER_04]: Ouch. [SPEAKER_04]: Was that for his, his, uh, T-bucketter? [SPEAKER_06]: It was, uh, a couple of gallons for his car and one of the, uh, the model A. [SPEAKER_04]: Nice. [SPEAKER_06]: And then, like four gallons for the model A and then the rest for my car. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, Lonnie. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, the politics bar. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he says thank you back, but I mean, that's that's cheap for us right now.

[SPEAKER_06]: And it's it's going to go up. [SPEAKER_04]: It's hurting, it's hurting everybody around the country. [SPEAKER_04]: We have yet to see the full cost of this stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to keep hitting more on the gas palm food. [SPEAKER_04]: And I have food stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: We've got to talk a little bit later here about the the Trump dynamics. [SPEAKER_04]: We talked about it. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, jobs day was today. [SPEAKER_04]: March numbers came in.

[SPEAKER_04]: more than they expected, but February job losses were worse than expected. [SPEAKER_04]: Here's the thing, the reasons behind this, and they weren't all great. [SPEAKER_04]: The healthcare sector, the only sector consistently growing, lost 25,000 jobs in February, driven primarily by strikes in the healthcare industry in California and Hawaii. [SPEAKER_04]: So, there's that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Overall, unemployment shifted down by a tenth of a point, but only because more people left the workforce because they can't find jobs. [SPEAKER_04]: If the way that the unemployment numbers work, there are multiple measures of it. [SPEAKER_04]: And the one that they primarily use, which is [SPEAKER_04]: If you're trying to look for a job and you haven't found one, I think it's six or nine months, they say you're off.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: They say that you're not looking for a job. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: They're done that. [SPEAKER_04]: You still may actually be looking for a job. [SPEAKER_04]: But according to the way, the count the numbers, they say that you may not be looking for a job. [SPEAKER_04]: And because those people went off, that's why the unemployment shift. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because you don't get your unemployment anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's true, too.

[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, uh, by the way, Catherine Rampell, um, over at the bulwark and, uh, MS now says US is effectively lost a half million jobs in the last year and hasn't gained any. [SPEAKER_04]: And economists expect people to really, the anger levels are arising and they don't expect the job levels to significantly increase until after the fall, which means people are going to go to the polls mad. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, it's bells all over the place, because Jodie is right today. [SPEAKER_04]: And I have to, we've got to give you a big applause for this week for filling in for staff. [SPEAKER_04]: Doing all the good stuff you did there. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm also doing our show. [SPEAKER_04]: Doing Bob show. [SPEAKER_04]: And you have been sharp on it per usual. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's just been very nice.

[SPEAKER_04]: it's been it's been a week it's well I mean especially when it's a crazy ass news week when it when it you're just you looking at the news and you're like are you effin kid me really really every day it's like really so it's just I love working with you know that but it's just it's kind of nice and I know a lot of the listeners are like man I've had Jody all day like

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry children, Stephanie's back on Monday, thankfully, with not rude, but we found out Allison Gill will be on on Monday as well with Ms. Yeah, hey, look at that, we love obviously when Steph is in, we also love what she gets some rest and then she gets rest because you know, and this weekend she is going to go, uh, bike her butt off. [SPEAKER_04]: So, oh yes, well, you bet you bet you.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, it is good Friday and it is a good Friday, and John Fuegel saying kind of the [SPEAKER_04]: He's the perfect guest. [SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna have him in. [SPEAKER_04]: We also gonna have Ian Karen and Anita. [SPEAKER_04]: We got the drink of the day. [SPEAKER_04]: More news on tap. [SPEAKER_04]: It is a very busy, very good Friday. [SPEAKER_04]: We are glad to have you wrapping up the week with us fresh in your drink and come right back.

[SPEAKER_04]: Jody and I will be here for you. [SPEAKER_03]: Hang on. [SPEAKER_04]: It is a Friday night, here at the politics bar, and we have the one, the only John Fubilsang hanging out with us, man, I'm telling you, this is great, honestly, we love having you here John, we know that a later Karen and Anita will be in as well, we've had great guests this week.

[SPEAKER_04]: If you guys have any guests that you guys are like, hey, I'd really like to, you can always reach out to us on any of our social media platforms, loose guys, threads, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.

[SPEAKER_04]: Ryan no Brian no I'm sorry yes I can we can try though I mean you know but look anybody you want to you guys can leave messages there I do have to give at least one message here earlier this week Jody was talking about you've been her house John yeah she got that toilet seat that does the the singing thing Jody over and over in the sub stack corner bar here he says that Jody's singing toilet seat is the best thing he's heard this week and he says [SPEAKER_04]: with Paul.

[SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it wasn't my fault. [SPEAKER_04]: It was Jeffrey's pun. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a pun. [SPEAKER_06]: No, my dad. [SPEAKER_06]: I, you've been in my office John, but the, the toilet is a French toy, an old school French toy that my dad turned into a music box. [SPEAKER_06]: And it plays. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm so glad we had this time together. [SPEAKER_06]: Which is cool. [SPEAKER_02]: Wow. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad we lived to see this today. [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_06]: There you go. [SPEAKER_06]: Much better pun. [SPEAKER_06]: I get, yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: Good pun. [SPEAKER_06]: My dad would love that. [SPEAKER_02]: I am a dad. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm obliged to generate about seven bad dad jokes a day. [SPEAKER_04]: It's good, though. [SPEAKER_04]: I think you said since it is kind of it's Easter weekend, but you and the fam are going to go see Jesus Christ superstar.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah, well now and there's a production in LA that's great thing you're called the nocturn in Glendale because my son has never seen Glendale before, and that's it. [SPEAKER_02]: Well there you go. [SPEAKER_08]: That's one thing. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so uh, but yeah, I love it. [SPEAKER_02]: And again, it's like on the fan of Easter, you know, good Friday, we must remember is uh, is the anniversary of the most famous innocent brown skin man ever to be executed by the state.

[SPEAKER_02]: And um, it's when we celebrate, you know, the most famous death penalty case ever, and these pro death penalty Christians have no idea of the irony. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh no, and especially this the irony could bite Kegbreath in the ass, especially because Okay, today. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not irony with that guy. [SPEAKER_02]: It's hypocrisy, but it's going on. [SPEAKER_04]: When we came on, we knew that there were two planes that had gone down on Iran.

[SPEAKER_04]: One had one pilot rescued and they were still that some were saying that they found the second one, some that was disputed. [SPEAKER_04]: The one was closer to the streets of Hormuz, and they said some was disputed as to whether picking that up. [SPEAKER_04]: Which were like, okay, I mean, [SPEAKER_04]: whenever you do a military operation of any kind that is one of the things that you understand is that that you go into this. [SPEAKER_04]: You could get heard or you could die.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's when I signed up. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I was a Navy veteran when you sign up. [SPEAKER_04]: That is one of the things if you're honest that you realize is that you have written a check up to and including your life to the US government. [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly right, but why you shouldn't be done to distract us from your pedophile scandals. [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, but then it goes, it gets even worse because Hegsef now is catching internal backlash over the double tap strike on the civilian bridge as well. [SPEAKER_04]: He's good. [SPEAKER_04]: God, yes, but you know, when when when when he's getting flagged from all these directions, [SPEAKER_04]: I keep thinking that he's not as long for the administration as he thinks he's got less in a year. [SPEAKER_02]: He's got less in a year.

[SPEAKER_02]: Cash, but tell my last longer than Hexeth, which is maybe hilarious. [SPEAKER_04]: When you think about, like, because he's keeping his head down and out of the headlines, when your name isn't the headlines, don't. [SPEAKER_02]: Cash, but tell not keeping it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Cash, but tell it is girlfriend on the private taxpayer budget jets are not keeping anything out of the headlines, but he's not getting as many people [SPEAKER_02]: Follow the law and went after Donald Trump's terrorist somewhere in hell, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Jay Edgar Hoover is wearing a dress and he's so embarrassed over what's happened his beloved bureau. [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, Hex Seth is digging his own hole and it's going to come from within.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, imagine being career military and you have to like, this petulant do-shoe used to throw to my pillow commercials and now he's your boss. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_06]: That's a Malcolm says all the time. [SPEAKER_06]: He's like, they don't want to follow his orders. [SPEAKER_02]: They don't want to follow with his with his white supremacy day as a vault tattoo, which is not Jesus.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's the crusades when they were slaughtering Muslims, slaughtering pagans and Jews, and they still lost. [SPEAKER_02]: The Nazis made them all where God is with us belt buckles by the way. [SPEAKER_02]: It's only one chromosome away from a pechulent peat. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's it's here's the thing though. [SPEAKER_04]: I can't remember because I listened to you a little bit earlier this week when I got out of the bar here. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry, I know we do.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't remember if if you had the story about the incident with Higgseth Broker [SPEAKER_02]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's big. [SPEAKER_04]: Heg says stockbroker was making some bets on military industrial stuff, just before the war. [SPEAKER_04]: And then the story we have today in the news on tap, senators, Warner and chef, mine and jodies, senators, are now leading an investigation of potential, potential, insider trading. [SPEAKER_04]: They sent letters to the SEC.

[SPEAKER_04]: And the Department of Defense, and it's tied in to Higgs F. The one thing that Donald cannot stand is when you double dip on him and don't give him his Vig. [SPEAKER_04]: Don't give him his share. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure he got a lot of money off of this and God, you know he did, but on the same time. [SPEAKER_04]: Not from Pete though. [SPEAKER_02]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, he hears, and when he hears that, he'll be like, skew me.

[SPEAKER_04]: You causing me all these headlines and you stealing from me. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, hopefully, then he'll give another really inspiring speech to get us all on the same page as a nation where we can be flush with pride. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, did you see that was like a hostage video, that speech, and the hostage was coherence. [SPEAKER_02]: I said to Jodie this morning, I think an old leaky magic atball, actually wrote that text. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm human. [SPEAKER_02]: What a mistake.

[SPEAKER_02]: That was like when people hear this guy speak in public like off the coffee could be charming He knows how to work a room. [SPEAKER_02]: He's an easy performer, right? [SPEAKER_02]: And you could show a little sound by some of the news But 19 minutes of racist grandpa sounding like he's reading the terms and conditions out loud [SPEAKER_02]: sounding like he's monogamous with something for the first time in his life and it's a teleprompter but it's wiping him out.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like inflation in the economy, you're going to be the thing that finally finished this guy off. [SPEAKER_02]: But that speech the other night, all he had to do was explain why we're doing this, what our goal is, and when we're leaving. [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: He was O for three. [SPEAKER_02]: He gave no new information. [SPEAKER_02]: The scariest thing about that species, that speech was vetted and they decided, yeah, this is enough.

[SPEAKER_02]: What did they cut out? [SPEAKER_02]: Like I got for sure, he's going to announce ground troops or he's going to announce a withdrawal date. [SPEAKER_02]: He didn't either. [SPEAKER_02]: He didn't address us when the conflict began and he gave no to information in the speech the other night. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like they're panicking and you look at how the you look at how the stock market plunged. [SPEAKER_02]: the next morning and the oil prices went up the next morning.

[SPEAKER_02]: The rest of the world is done with this clown. [SPEAKER_02]: The problem is done with this clown. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, who was absolutely? [SPEAKER_04]: We said, we had this yesterday. [SPEAKER_04]: I haven't seen today, J. D. Did you see how many nations have the stormers started with 25? [SPEAKER_06]: It's up to over 40.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, getting getting together this whole thing of going, look, we'll go together, and if nothing else, we'll go to a ran and be like, look, we'll make a side deal, so we'll get all of our ships through. [SPEAKER_04]: And US, yeah, after them, they can do their own thing. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's like, [SPEAKER_04]: So you're getting all the big countries and everybody else and you're just telling U.S. Yeah, I relate as we cheeks. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're exactly.

[SPEAKER_06]: Who's going to be happier with us being isolation? [SPEAKER_02]: It's just everything you want in that Putin's. [SPEAKER_02]: Putin's making at least $150 million a day. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of oil from this. [SPEAKER_02]: So Putin's getting richer and richer every single day, which is why. [SPEAKER_02]: And first I was like, how can Putin like this? [SPEAKER_02]: Putin is on a round side. [SPEAKER_02]: But now we see why he's benefiting from it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And again, [SPEAKER_02]: Vladimir Putin is the one person on Earth Donald Trump is not allowed to criticize, but I got to say, man I mean, more troops dead now or at least missing I think I'm ready to say that Benjamin Netanyahu as America's president is actually making me nostalgic for the days when Elon Musk was America's president Me too [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, we have to even Miller now, so he's also a president. [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, he's another one who I don't think is as long for it. [SPEAKER_04]: Because you remember it. [SPEAKER_04]: That's so. [SPEAKER_02]: The gerbil gerbil? [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know, man. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: But the one-year moratorium. [SPEAKER_04]: on not firing anybody. [SPEAKER_04]: That was Stephen Miller's idea. [SPEAKER_04]: It was.

[SPEAKER_04]: Stephen Miller's idea was, no, we can't fire anybody because when you did that in your first regime, then they all went out and told books and some of them went to MSNBC and some of them went to the New York Times. [SPEAKER_04]: We can't have those people outside the tent. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, they would just make him sign an NDA this time too. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure he would do it. [SPEAKER_04]: But the fact that Trump is now to the point of going, yeah, you know what?

[SPEAKER_04]: That was a great idea, but after that, I'm firing people. [SPEAKER_04]: That that to me. [SPEAKER_02]: What's been a year? [SPEAKER_04]: Other things. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, and then there's the thing you told me was it last weekend, so the No Kings Row. [SPEAKER_04]: And enough you heard this, John, that because we all know that Donald has told everybody on his staff, look, quiet down on the immigration stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's even there.

[SPEAKER_06]: There was like, hey, guys, go to Minneapolis or wherever to just stir stuff up. [SPEAKER_02]: His unfavorables are higher than his favorables in every category now. [SPEAKER_02]: And there's two and a half years of this left guys. [SPEAKER_02]: Stop and smell the train wreck all you nice moral people who've been resisting.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I I really I was I this thought he had so much support with the media I mean, though like he didn't have the media it is pocket the last time this time he does and I really thought This house of cards with last a little bit longer, but this house of cards man It is already falling and it's got another two and a half years to trouble and his ankles His ankles look like he's smuggling Eric across the border

[SPEAKER_04]: That's why I'm saying he ain't got last two and a half years. [SPEAKER_06]: Ain't no way. [SPEAKER_02]: He hasn't got any of you. [SPEAKER_06]: Was it Seethl? [SPEAKER_06]: Police that said they were putting marijuana in their calves or something. [SPEAKER_02]: That was that was Steve King. [SPEAKER_02]: Steve King. [SPEAKER_02]: So they had calves, the size of cantaloupe. [SPEAKER_02]: Because that's what you do. [SPEAKER_02]: You cross the border with weed.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's what you do. [SPEAKER_02]: Just like you are in a little tiny fishing boat off the coast of Venezuela and you pack it with Venice, you pack it with with fentanyl to bring the Florida. [SPEAKER_02]: That's how it works. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't want to hear any Democrat who doesn't want to talk seriously about accountability We always know what happens the bad guys in this country get away with it the Confederates walked right?

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean Nixon walked I mean what one two guys went to jail for that I rack more [SPEAKER_02]: Schumer and Pelosi said as soon as they took office in 2006 and impeachment for the Iraq war lies are off the table What a way to cut yourself off at the knees? [SPEAKER_02]: I ran contra. [SPEAKER_02]: They all walk. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean lying to us during COVID They all walked and it's like it can't happen this time.

[SPEAKER_02]: There has to be [SPEAKER_02]: real accountability because what I want are is that I'm not interested in any Democrat who's not there to scare fascists back into their cave for another 90 years because if we don't we're 90 years ago Christians and Germany made the same mistake the Christians in America are making right now and we don't crush this like a bug it's not going to go away you're absolutely right [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and I love, I love, that's what it's so far.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you know, I try not to talk too much of the 2028, but I honestly do believe that Pritzker is the only right now. [SPEAKER_04]: One of my favorites right now, because he's talking about accountability. [SPEAKER_04]: He's got the Illinois Accountability Project where people have been since they went in with their, you know, ice monsters this winter and reporting stuff.

[SPEAKER_04]: And they're they're working through that stuff and being like, yep, we're going to get these people. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I'm going, this is the way to be.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm, [SPEAKER_02]: accountability a hundred percent and the affordability which among other things who go do stand on here in California you're a six dollar regascar salinas up really interesting oh line just paid six fifty nine for my car and his modeling so that's what all that freedom man thank you racist who don't know how to vote I want to thank all of you people for the body bags of the high gas prices

[SPEAKER_02]: And the wealthy pedophiles who are more protected than they were under Biden, just as beautiful. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a little lovely. [SPEAKER_04]: I am still, I am still looking at that oversight committee in the fact that the clock is taken in Pam Bond. [SPEAKER_04]: He's going to have to. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: She's going to have to learn.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to laugh my ass off when she comes out, ball in the mascara, just all down her stomach. [SPEAKER_02]: It is. [SPEAKER_06]: She's got good mascara trust me. [SPEAKER_02]: Watch the next thing is going to be the next thing is going to be the battle. [SPEAKER_02]: the battle to keep Pam Bondi from having to testify. [SPEAKER_02]: You know that she's going to sue they're going to do anything they can. [SPEAKER_02]: And again, this is Congress, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like we saw this. [SPEAKER_02]: We saw this for the January 6th ruling. [SPEAKER_02]: They blow off these things. [SPEAKER_02]: But again, Todd Blanche, at least Pam Bondi was an evil woman protecting child rapist. [SPEAKER_02]: Let this guy protect the child rapist. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it'll look so good for this administration a couple of months won't it? [SPEAKER_02]: They're so stupid.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh man, they are field of rakes, field of rakes, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, joe, [SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for letting me talk to Aberdeckles. [SPEAKER_02]: I promise I'll be satanic again next week. [SPEAKER_04]: I love it. [SPEAKER_04]: It was no place.

[SPEAKER_04]: Back with more of the politics bar next hang on. [SPEAKER_03]: We'll be right back after we pay some bills of the politics bar. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm seeing very low. [SPEAKER_04]: I know you've lowered your stool a little bit because of the cat and I don't quite understand but Daisy, your mom's got to do the shows. [SPEAKER_06]: I think she actually went with. [SPEAKER_06]: And it's in the air such I'm like goodness. [SPEAKER_06]: I can go up now.

[SPEAKER_04]: She's all right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, she maybe she's waiting in the parking lot here for care. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Let's let's do the drink of the day today. [SPEAKER_04]: We did take our hat off to this one couple times last hour.

[SPEAKER_06]: which you know I'm I'm good I know I know I like the puns John had a better pun he did he did he had a good I did not write it down but he did that's okay no worries what is the drink of the day today and what is the inspiration for each other it's called a brown derby cocktail and you'd made a mocktail of it thank you there we go okay it's inspired by my cities yeah most iconic restaurants of brown derby which closed today in 1985

[SPEAKER_04]: which that's a bomber but i have to say by the way uh... speaking of uh... um... l a and uh... dc uh... your dodgers beat my nats today in the first uh... first uh... first uh... three series uh... whatever i expected it i expected it but [SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations to you. [SPEAKER_04]: Directors. [SPEAKER_04]: Directors. [SPEAKER_04]: Directors. [SPEAKER_04]: They want to ask. [SPEAKER_04]: Good night. [SPEAKER_04]: So anyway. [SPEAKER_04]: So drink the day.

[SPEAKER_04]: The Brown Derby cocktail. [SPEAKER_04]: For those of you who are like wait a minute. [SPEAKER_04]: Isn't there one of those at Disney? [SPEAKER_04]: There is. [SPEAKER_06]: There is. [SPEAKER_04]: But that's Disney in Florida. [SPEAKER_06]: Florida. [SPEAKER_06]: And if you ever saw Swingers. [SPEAKER_06]: The Derby. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Was a Brown Derby, but it didn't have the hat. [SPEAKER_06]: Vegas Vegas baby Vegas Vegas baby, you know, I'm money.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm money. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm money Actually, there is it there is an actual When jump up row gets a call from Vince Vaughn Okay, and he it's on his answering machine he goes honey. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna go to three clubs and then I'm gonna go to here And then we're gonna go to Derby. [SPEAKER_06]: I've actually done that entire run [SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: When I saw that movie.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to go to the locations where some of these things were. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, obviously they're not there. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, because the Brown Derby, unfortunately, Brown Derby restaurants that were in multiple places in Southern California are not there. [SPEAKER_04]: But they're not there. [SPEAKER_06]: But they're talking about was not a Brown Derby, but it was very funny because I literally watched that movie. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, I done that actual thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

[SPEAKER_06]: I'll be like that. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, my face will be like that. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, so with a cocktail, one and a half ounces of bourbon or with a not.

[SPEAKER_06]: the muck to see right when it half ounces of liars bourbon alternative which is very tasty exactly either way one ounce of fresh fresh grapefruit juice exactly a half ounce of honey syrup which is a quarter ounce of honey dissolved in a quarter ounce of warm water mix it okay so you got it go I like the gardeners I know grapefruit twist [SPEAKER_04]: Well, look, you have the fresh grape fruit that you just got the juice from, so that way then you just use the grape fruit.

[SPEAKER_06]: I know, it's so easy. [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: So you add all the ingredients to your shaker, add ice, shakin' till cold, string to the glass, express the twist and garnish. [SPEAKER_04]: But you know, and of course, remember, if you've got class, take off your hat when you're inside. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, please. [SPEAKER_04]: Especially gentlemen, but ladies too, take off your hat. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, well, I mean, ladies, when they have a hat with a pin.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I know what the pin is and everything, but I'm like, if you've got a ball cap, I mean, come on. [SPEAKER_06]: That's different. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm talking to you as per hat. [UNKNOWN]: Just kidding. [SPEAKER_06]: A proper hat is different. [SPEAKER_06]: It's like whole pin your head. [SPEAKER_04]: I know that's different that's a that's a what's a lady hat Kentucky Derby day maybe we'll talk about no that's big hats Those are like yeah, but they had pins in those too.

[SPEAKER_04]: They do, but no if you missed any part of the drink of the day You guys know what to do [SPEAKER_04]: go to the politics bar. [SPEAKER_04]: The ladies are here, you let him in, let him in. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, they are. [SPEAKER_04]: Karen and Anita of True Group, politics, podcast. [SPEAKER_04]: And then he's here. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, good word. [SPEAKER_04]: Karen, we're here. [SPEAKER_04]: Karen, we're here. [SPEAKER_04]: We're watching files. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's my girl. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you know, that's fine, I guess. [SPEAKER_04]: I just, I didn't expect you to bring, you know, prop boxes with Epstein files. [SPEAKER_05]: There she is, bye. [SPEAKER_05]: Hi. [SPEAKER_05]: Hi, here we are. [SPEAKER_04]: I can hear you. [SPEAKER_04]: No, I can hear you just fine, Karen. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_06]: Show no. [SPEAKER_06]: Pammy is dumping my family, Joe. [SPEAKER_06]: See, she's holding the files.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't feel I don't feel bad. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that is a funny picture of. [SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, somebody made that with Photoshop. [SPEAKER_06]: Why do you do that. [SPEAKER_06]: She actually did that. [SPEAKER_05]: She's going to borrow a lot of them. [SPEAKER_05]: She's right. [SPEAKER_04]: She did. [SPEAKER_05]: That's right. [SPEAKER_05]: She's going to put them in the ballroom. [SPEAKER_05]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_04]: Bathroom too. [SPEAKER_04]: She's going to have to.

[SPEAKER_04]: She's going to have to talk about all that, though, in front of the oversight committee. [SPEAKER_04]: She cannot get out of that. [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know the point right now. [SPEAKER_07]: You're saying that they were just interviewing who was it.

[SPEAKER_07]: One of the Republicans on the [SPEAKER_04]: No, no matter fact, matter fact talking to some of the legal experts, they were saying because I wanted to double check this today and they said, no, no, no, in fact, it's not up to Comer because of the way that the subpoena was written for Pam Bondi not noting her title. [SPEAKER_04]: So it means it's written to her as an individual. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: It's written to her as an individual.

[SPEAKER_04]: It would take a majority of the members of the oversight committee to vote to void. [SPEAKER_04]: it. [SPEAKER_04]: In other words, it's, it's, it's, it's right exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like a live bomb. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's going to go off on the 14th. [SPEAKER_04]: And if she doesn't show her ass up on the 14th of this month, then they can instruct, um, uh, Sergeant arms. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think so.

[SPEAKER_04]: Sergeant arms, or technically somebody else, um, over at the, you know, I'm saying more because she's a, she's [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, that's just it. [SPEAKER_04]: Now they won't. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they won't even need the sergeant arms, but they can distract somebody to go drag her ass in a Marshall and I can I can I volunteer I think we will all we all be like we will all join the possible out there Man's gone and say it's all right Yeah, I Be fun exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: We have to have name tags since we're pretending to be ice Hello [SPEAKER_07]: Wow, it's been crazy, but it's always crazy. [SPEAKER_07]: It's just, um, another week. [SPEAKER_07]: Crazy. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_07]: We can the Trump. [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: But I mean, he's got shot down today. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Last time we checked, uh, last I saw, they got, uh, from the first plane that was down.

[SPEAKER_04]: They have one of the people, but not the other one. [SPEAKER_04]: There was something to bait about that. [SPEAKER_04]: And then there's the second plane near the straightaway moves. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's still up in the air, so whether they got that one, the last time I checked. [SPEAKER_06]: There's two pages for each planer. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, it depends on the plane. [SPEAKER_04]: The one that was the first plane, that's the F-15.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's the one that we have in the news collection. [SPEAKER_06]: There are two guys in that plane. [SPEAKER_04]: They're both pilots, they're both considered pilots, but one is a pilot and one is an navigator. [SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know whether it's the pilot or the navigator. [SPEAKER_04]: They got in the same plane, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Right, exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: But then the other one was a different kind of plane that only had to believe one person in it. [SPEAKER_06]: And he's okay, or she's okay. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, we'll have to check over the weekend. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, good. [SPEAKER_04]: Good. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's because I had heard that, but that I heard somebody else report that they said no, it wasn't confirmed. [SPEAKER_04]: And so I No, but that's it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Look, I appreciate I appreciate that we, you know, we talk about this this type of stuff and and look, we understand it has been extremely expensive extremely expensive to be having this stupid ass war [SPEAKER_07]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_07]: It really is. [SPEAKER_07]: It's just how much they spend like the first couple days like a billion dollars a day. [SPEAKER_04]: It's more than a billion dollars a day.

[SPEAKER_04]: But here's the thing Trump is about to or maybe he already maybe they send it over. [SPEAKER_04]: He's 2027 budget, which I hate the way the media and the mainstream media usually reports on the president's budget. [SPEAKER_04]: So I hated it when it was Joe Biden. [SPEAKER_04]: I hate it all the time. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, because the the president's budget and they present. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly, you need us right.

[SPEAKER_04]: When a budget is presented to Congress, a budget is a list from the president to Congress of these are the things that I'd like Congress right. [SPEAKER_04]: Congress has the power of the purse and Congress can say, yeah, that's nice. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to pet you in the head And tell you to go outside and play hide and go after yourself.

[SPEAKER_06]: What the sense though is what the president wants [SPEAKER_07]: and his priorities are, but everything on the military and nothing he wants to cut Medicaid child care. [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: We can't have them here, no child care. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, we can't have them here, we can't have them here.

[SPEAKER_04]: We've got that one on the D.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E.E [SPEAKER_00]: That has to be up to a state. [SPEAKER_00]: We can't take care of Daker, we're a big country, we have 50 states, we have all these other people we're fighting wars, we can't take care of Daker. [SPEAKER_07]: Now that weren't a deal for him. [SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[SPEAKER_07]: I have a daycare. [SPEAKER_07]: Something he's never said in a foreign grocery, you know? [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_05]: I have a question. [SPEAKER_05]: Wasn't his daughter in charge of a daycare like child care? [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, she was. [SPEAKER_04]: Also, by the way, do you know the one time, the one time that the United States federal government has actually paid for child care? [SPEAKER_04]: it was during World War II.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: But we also had yes. [SPEAKER_04]: So we were in a war and we paid the child care because we were in the war. [SPEAKER_04]: So the idea that we can't pay for child care because we have a war is literally disproven by the fact that we already did it. [SPEAKER_06]: This is all David Coke and Project 2025. [SPEAKER_04]: It's all Project 2025. [SPEAKER_07]: This man and he said, oh, child care. [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it was, oh my God. [SPEAKER_07]: It was a boy.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he was at the year was the New York economics. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, I remember that. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: I mean, what happened to that? [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, what happened to that? [SPEAKER_07]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_06]: They're not trying to pretend for everything. [SPEAKER_06]: No, they want tariffs to pay for everything and no income taxes. [SPEAKER_06]: That's their thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Right, tariffs don't actually pay for everything because they can't. [SPEAKER_07]: small math. [SPEAKER_07]: They want to get rid of the progressive income tax. [SPEAKER_07]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, they, they, you know, look, it goes along. [SPEAKER_04]: We've mentioned this early. [SPEAKER_04]: You mentioned an hour one with John when he was here. [SPEAKER_04]: There are the modern Republican motto explains most of what they want to do.

[SPEAKER_04]: And for those of you who forgotten it, it's five simple words. [SPEAKER_04]: I've got mine, F you. [SPEAKER_04]: And every single one of them says it. [SPEAKER_04]: So they go, well, I want to have mine. [SPEAKER_04]: So I don't want to give you any taxes. [SPEAKER_04]: So F you, oh, you're sick, you're hungry. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe I'll give you a few pennies for war, but no, I got mine right. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, right, they want somebody else to pay for who?

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, but somebody. [SPEAKER_05]: No, no, I think you're it out. [SPEAKER_05]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Look, we, uh, Karen and Anita from the True Blue politics podcast are here. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: We will recap more of the news from this last week. [SPEAKER_04]: Of course, we still have more news on tap. [SPEAKER_04]: Man, it is a busy, fun Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: It is a good Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: No, really it's it is good Friday.

[SPEAKER_04]: Karen, I don't need that. [SPEAKER_04]: I will treat you both as podcasts. [SPEAKER_04]: Thanks everybody here, welcoming into the bar properly as it should be, you know?

[SPEAKER_06]: And thank you both for calling in. [SPEAKER_06]: to Stephanie this week. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you so much we love you do we love you helping out with Steph show it was great. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm so glad that Bella is back. [SPEAKER_04]: She's sending so strong and healthy and you know you can tell that she's you know as the first goes been eaten or we need that she's feeling her her oats.

[SPEAKER_04]: Because she is, you know, it's like, oh, wow, that the difference in, like, the strength of the breath support of her voice and everything too. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no, she came in, going like, I don't, I'm not going to talk today and then she talks. [SPEAKER_06]: So, right, well, but let's feel a lot better than she felt before. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, she will feel much better next week. [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I did this, I cannot get over the fact that they waited so long.

[SPEAKER_05]: And she even said and she even said the doctor said they wouldn't get in they were like why did Yeah, I mean so why why would you well? [SPEAKER_04]: I mean that's part of the whole bad my wife You guys know my wife was born a spine of infinitesis.

[SPEAKER_04]: So she's had a lot of surgeries She's dealt with a medical community a lot and she doesn't always have the greatest things to say about them I mean you know she appreciates them, but sometimes she's [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I'm with you on that. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, she always, you know, when I was talking to her about it a while ago, I just, like, kind of so stupid. [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't understand why. [SPEAKER_04]: And she just gives me that, are you that stupid look?

[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, all right, because she's a woman. [SPEAKER_04]: And she goes, uh, huh? [SPEAKER_04]: And gives me the, you're correct. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: The, look. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, even, bettering the sound of the sound effect. [SPEAKER_04]: She just gives me the, the bell look.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, [SPEAKER_04]: It's because it's because doctors it's because medical science among other things and women doctors too are still trained the same way Yeah, but they're trained often by by men and by the books that men wrote And I just it's like my god black woman is yeah, oh, yes, it's worse No, but when they win or Native American yeah [SPEAKER_06]: It was funny when the woman called today, she goes, I saw that Grey's Anatomy. [SPEAKER_06]: Did you guys see it?

[SPEAKER_06]: Were the gallbladder exploded?

[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but I didn't see it, but

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because if you want to raise, please don't watch grace. [SPEAKER_05]: Well, no, I mean, like I know, I went through, um, I have, um, I got my degree in ultrasound. [SPEAKER_05]: So I kind of, you know, so I know a lot about this stuff. [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I don't practice it, but, um, but yeah, it could go really bad. [SPEAKER_05]: Really fun.

[SPEAKER_05]: So when I called up, when I called up that one time, and I said, you know, you should have, uh, [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I mean, I'm not kidding, like series like the the legal when you start throwing out legal stuff. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, my I had a situation and I literally called my doctor's office and I said, I am on the attorney generals website right now filling out the form to complain about the fact that you did that disclose these things.

[SPEAKER_04]: I had I guess what I like that. [SPEAKER_04]: If you want to hear this week with, um, I will not say the name of the service provider will be nice. [SPEAKER_04]: I know who it is. [SPEAKER_04]: I see. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: He does. [SPEAKER_04]: And they showed up literally at 12 30 at night, just to say that's who it was for my internet stuff, which is ridiculous because I didn't ask for them to do that. [SPEAKER_04]: And then it was.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, then then that the following day during the time that we were starting it ready for the show, um, uh, and like this might have been a problem. [SPEAKER_04]: It's not the bar here. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, and I'm going, what the heck? [SPEAKER_04]: I was having more problems.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I reached out to the tech support on my phone and reminded them that we have this national show and it would be a real shame if we happen to, you know, completely blast them on the show. [SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know, like 10 minutes later, things were working just fine. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, I'm like, I don't like doing that, but I'm like, but if you make me, you know, get out the, as we joke and call it the Board of Education, and what's your answer?

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I did that. [SPEAKER_04]: I did it. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: I did that with my sister. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: When she had issues with her cancer, and she went back to the hospital, and they were not going to read met her. [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[SPEAKER_06]: I'm reading Tom and I was like, I'm going to call every, [SPEAKER_04]: every media media outlet on the planet and they're like wait what I'm like hi hi it's just it's welcome to my world we don't it's it's kind of like when it goes into politics when it goes into political things um i i was reminded this morning um after your interview joty uh uh you know that that uh [SPEAKER_04]: Richard had on what is his name? [SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to remember.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's down in Georgia. [SPEAKER_04]: Sean Harris, that's it. [SPEAKER_04]: He's running for the seat down there. [SPEAKER_04]: Election is if you are listening to us on Georgia now, tell your friends. [SPEAKER_04]: Remember the election, the special election to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene is next Tuesday. [SPEAKER_04]: Right, and there are a lot of the people, um, sometimes they're referred to in pulling as double haters.

[SPEAKER_04]: They hate the Democrats, but now they also hate the Republicans. [SPEAKER_04]: They, they hate Donald Trump, but they hate the Democrats and they, and yet you get people like Sean Harris, dude's got a shot. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, he does. [SPEAKER_06]: He's right on Richard, so today we're talking about the entire general, yeah, he's great on Richard, so today, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, here he is.

[SPEAKER_04]: I've enjoyed hearing him hearing a bit on with a Richard a few times a couple of the people and he's done some nationally done a lot of water and that's fine. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: Well, that's the district. [SPEAKER_07]: He's right here for district that's yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: I'm more concerned. [SPEAKER_04]: He seems to really know his neighbors and that's the kind of thing that you would want is somebody who knows your neighbor.

[SPEAKER_04]: But then there's just the factor of the double haters. [SPEAKER_04]: You were saying I need to, we were talking to the break of the [SPEAKER_07]: And they said that from the devil haters, they're democrats. [SPEAKER_07]: Those double hairs will choose Democrats by 31 points. [SPEAKER_07]: Nice. [SPEAKER_07]: And those are the people that are just like, you know, decide, I guess, when they get there usually. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: They have decided.

[SPEAKER_07]: Wow. [SPEAKER_04]: But at that point, at that point, there's 31 points when they're 30, when Democrats are 31 points up, they ain't deciding at the polls. [SPEAKER_07]: They've decided long before they're not, they're not this time. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: that. [SPEAKER_04]: No, you're right. [SPEAKER_04]: You want to be off and do that. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: That's amazing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: You're right that they've never seen that and that. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, look, they've never seen Trump's numbers as low and our polls and politics section in the fourth round. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so our friends over it to strengthen numbers. [SPEAKER_04]: G Elliot Morris goes through this and he notes Trump's net approval has hit an absolute new low lower than any president.

[SPEAKER_04]: in the modern era lower than anybody and in fact his approval level is basically the same level of right after Katrina when Bush was treading water polling wise right when watergate was blowing up and Richard Nixon was was underwater severely that's where Donald Trump's polls are now so he's he's worse than Carter and I know that will go in that will make him mad. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, God. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: I don't think that no bottle of ketchup is in his history.

[SPEAKER_07]: Honestly, we didn't take polls before that. [SPEAKER_07]: So really, it's part of it. [SPEAKER_07]: I'm trying to pull numbers in our history. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, he's got, he's got, they, they've got polls going back to basically Post World War II. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: At least for this. [SPEAKER_04]: So you've got, Eisenhower, and there are no polls before that. [SPEAKER_04]: So we don't well, I mean, there's some polling, but modern polling ideology.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, modern polling methodology basically starts post World War II. [SPEAKER_04]: But I mean, you know, at this point, you guys got to remember, we're.

[SPEAKER_04]: where we are more than halfway through the 2020's it's hard to mind folks that that that you know we're in 20 I know right I'm old now no you're you know that happened you guys are not none of us are old here and and look it's always the thing especially if you have a you if you have a significant other who is who is younger than you or or maybe who [SPEAKER_04]: There you go, exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, you know what, you feel younger, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, you know, you know, you just feel like, oh, you know, you say you want to feel younger. [SPEAKER_04]: He's younger. [SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, go. [SPEAKER_04]: I can feel younger. [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm saying in the show. [SPEAKER_04]: Just saying you feel younger. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, a lot is there. [SPEAKER_04]: Lonnie, how do you feel about that? [SPEAKER_03]: The politics bar. [SPEAKER_04]: He's fine with the joke. [SPEAKER_04]: He didn't mind.

[SPEAKER_04]: He didn't mind if you grow up him. [SPEAKER_07]: I'll be for the next, you know, after today. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I guess I will ever be today for the rest of your life. [SPEAKER_04]: And as a friend of mine who once said it was an older guy and he said, you know, the funny thing is when some people say, you know, you're not acting a rage. [SPEAKER_04]: She goes, I've never been this age. [SPEAKER_04]: I have no idea of how to act.

[SPEAKER_06]: on the pit the other day Jan Florek who I love from the law and orders he was on and goes young people know how to be young but they don't know how to be old old people know how to be young yeah no experience it they've never experienced so they want to come to kids that yeah yeah all people know how to be young but you know how to be old and I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I'm old I

[SPEAKER_07]: I was so smart at 13. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_04]: This has been a week filled with dumb stuff, too. [SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, Christy Nome's husband is such a boob. [SPEAKER_04]: Any likes boobs? [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's married to Christy. [SPEAKER_04]: I use that joke about five times this week. [SPEAKER_04]: I will stop just because it's funny, but that's her his boobs. [SPEAKER_06]: You're like, well, yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Spotlight the moon.

[SPEAKER_04]: And what else? [SPEAKER_06]: I bought it. [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: Did you see him and eat up? [SPEAKER_07]: Have you seen them at all? [SPEAKER_04]: What is basically spotlighting the moon and one is spotlighting like car over there Like if you're gonna do that do it like pointy to each other or putting away or up Yeah, or down I mean, but you spend that was 20 on on on on a Prussian on a good one.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think it was I mean in for a hearty that bashes trans gender Thank you Especially his wife That's yeah, that's why it's it's you know, we're mocking it [SPEAKER_07]: I don't care what people do and they're private life. [SPEAKER_07]: Right. [SPEAKER_07]: We don't care. [SPEAKER_05]: We don't care. [SPEAKER_05]: And if they look and if they need gender affirming care to get it up, then they can have their gender affirming care.

[SPEAKER_05]: They can have their gender affirming care. [SPEAKER_05]: All for that. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: The whole thing about the transgender decision, well, it wasn't really, it was a speech decision. [SPEAKER_04]: And we didn't get to talk with John about that. [SPEAKER_04]: No, we did not. [SPEAKER_04]: Because he's got, he's [SPEAKER_04]: got a piece about that. [SPEAKER_06]: It's a brilliant piece about it.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a good piece, but I still think he's missing the legal, the legal point. [SPEAKER_04]: I know. [SPEAKER_04]: That's some of the experts in that, that the, the, the guest, you know, Justin, I think, yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, Justin, not Lee, who, this is his thing. [SPEAKER_04]: This is his battle. [SPEAKER_04]: He's gone. [SPEAKER_04]: Went through it. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's talking about, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: right exactly the the whole thing about it is the fact that the law in Colorado and everywhere they're wrong they're well no no no no no no there's there's this the the law that bands people from from being able to be put through uh... that it's those are still on it's physically man it's still banned it's still banned in color [SPEAKER_07]: what his point was, right? [SPEAKER_04]: No, no. [SPEAKER_04]: The discussion about the, the discussion about the Supreme Court law.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, okay. [SPEAKER_04]: We are talking for those people who don't know about, I'm sorry, I just had a brain fart here. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: It's quite a decision on that. [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, but what is, what is it officially called? [SPEAKER_05]: Conversion for there. [SPEAKER_04]: Therapy. [SPEAKER_04]: That's what it is. [SPEAKER_04]: I was just going to say, see, and not have people know what they'll see. [SPEAKER_04]: T-Men.

[SPEAKER_04]: So conversion therapy is banned in the state of Colorado and it's banned in a lot of other places around the country physically because right because it's torture. [SPEAKER_04]: Physically it's torture. [SPEAKER_04]: But Colorado passed a separate law which said that if you are a mental health services provider. [SPEAKER_04]: Which my sister lies one.

[SPEAKER_04]: in Colorado, by the way, and that somebody comes to you and has has, they are questioning as far as that goes, that that law that they passed by us them and basically said that they couldn't talk about conversion therapy. [SPEAKER_04]: And what the Supreme Court said is, you can't have a law that says you can't talk about conversion therapy. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, it's a first amendment thing. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's what you ask.

[SPEAKER_04]: And that's what you ask. [SPEAKER_04]: But no, no, but it's it's fair because Kagan gave the, Kagan gave the legal answer. [SPEAKER_04]: But then Judge Brown, Justice, Judge, you brown, Judge. [SPEAKER_04]: I love her. [SPEAKER_04]: She gave the emotional passion and answer with goes with the piece that John wrote. [SPEAKER_04]: And on the emotional side, we shouldn't even be arguing about this.

[SPEAKER_04]: Let's trans people will be trans people, but on the legal side, yes, it was a first amendment issue. [SPEAKER_04]: And then Judge Cagan told the people in Colorado, look, you all need to get off he asks us, go to your people in your state legislature and make sure that they rewrite this law so that it is neutral language. [SPEAKER_04]: So it says so it doesn't bias any one thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: If you do that, before it gets back to the 10th Circuit, 10th Circuit will look at it, they'll look at what mitigations that have happened and they'll go, no, my problem here. [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, I just say something really quick. [SPEAKER_07]: Yes, you're going to get taxes, doctors and health care professionals are not even allowed. [SPEAKER_07]: to talk to their patients about abortion. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's exactly where Jody, you and I had this discussion after my phone. [SPEAKER_07]: I wonder if this is setting some sort of precedent. [SPEAKER_07]: Well, it seems to me that would be a first amendment violation there. [SPEAKER_07]: Then, right? [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: And my problem with that ruling was part of the ruling was if you voluntarily go.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, but children aren't voluntarily going right so that's my issue with the ruling with king and everybody else there are other parts of the ruling that definitely we got we got issues with and that you know look good state legislatures are going to have to solve and once we do right with the abortion stuff. [SPEAKER_06]: man. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but that's exactly what you need to do.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's Jody and I hit on that exactly because in states like Texas where they say, well, the abortion is technically legal, but you can't talk about it. [SPEAKER_04]: You're going to end up going to the Supreme Court and having these hit head on where one of them says, you can't talk about this, but it's legal and the other one says it's not legal, but you can't talk about it.

[SPEAKER_04]: And they're going to end up having to point [SPEAKER_04]: legal gums at each other right and it's like good luck with it Exactly, they all ready to do and now it's and it's and it's gonna shoot them in the foot because you can't have one Without the other exactly See this is why I love hanging out with smart women here and why Jody tolerates me so this is [SPEAKER_04]: It's Jodie and me and Anita and Karen all hanging out with you on this Friday night.

[SPEAKER_04]: We got at least one more round fresh in your drink and come on back. [SPEAKER_03]: We'll have more for you here from the politics bar. [SPEAKER_04]: last call on a Friday night here at the politics ballroom. [SPEAKER_04]: I am almost certain that we are going to have after hours tonight because it is, you know, the the amount of conversations that we're having in the break is insane. [SPEAKER_04]: What you got there, Karen? [SPEAKER_05]: This is Espalon Tequila.

[SPEAKER_04]: Ah, Tequila, whatever, it's good, it's Friday night by the way. [SPEAKER_04]: If you missed the drink of the day, if you missed any part of the show, you guys know what to do. [SPEAKER_04]: I miss staff. [SPEAKER_04]: I love listening staff. [SPEAKER_06]: I love her too. [SPEAKER_06]: She's amazing and one money she has rude and Alison Gill. [SPEAKER_06]: And you know who she's holding right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: See, I love this. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm wearing the Stephanie Miller shirt and Jody is wearing the politics bar shirt. [SPEAKER_04]: You, you can only get the Stephanie Miller show shirt at Stephanie Miller.com, but you can get the politics bar shirt at thepoliticsbar.com store. [SPEAKER_04]: There you go. [SPEAKER_07]: Sean has a story.

[SPEAKER_07]: I need to go kind of the store because I really want to get a well, I wanted to get a sweatshirt, but I guess I want to get a sweatshirt. [SPEAKER_07]: What are you going to do? [SPEAKER_06]: What are you going to do? [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I see Jody's in Boncesska. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I was listening this morning, obviously. [SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, obviously talking about the Epstein stuff, the Trump Epstein stuff.

[SPEAKER_04]: And of course, Bondi's role in all this, how she's going to have to testify. [SPEAKER_04]: But I know that Bella, she's a youngster, she's a youngster, and she doesn't exactly people her her age, people who are in their 40s and younger, well my brother is 10 years younger, my youngest brother is 10 years younger than me. [SPEAKER_04]: And he's, you know, he's not very, he didn't like Bill Clinton.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's kind of, yeah, which I'm like, look, [SPEAKER_04]: He was a very good person, he really was more we're he and our word excellent team we had great democrats in congress then unfortunately we had new gingrich we had to deal with but [SPEAKER_04]: It was not perfect and that was a person. [SPEAKER_05]: And we knew it and we all knew it. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: And we knew it was imperfect. [SPEAKER_05]: We knew it was imperfect.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: We knew it. [SPEAKER_04]: But this is the thing. [SPEAKER_05]: But there was something that was said that, you know, that, you know, not to put them on a platform on a pedestal. [SPEAKER_05]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_05]: The thing of it is. [SPEAKER_05]: None of us Democrats do not know their people up on ourselves, we don't know.

[SPEAKER_05]: We do not and so you know for that it's for that point I mean we hold our own accountable like we did you look at Bob Menendez you look at Robble Goivitz. [SPEAKER_05]: You look at Anthony Weaner I didn't mean Weaner. [SPEAKER_04]: I did. [SPEAKER_04]: I used to get him on Randy show. [SPEAKER_04]: We had him on Randy show. [SPEAKER_04]: I love him. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, except for the stupid [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that kind of thing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Stuff with the teenage girl texting sexist. [SPEAKER_04]: What's with her? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, that's stuff that stuff I get it it makes us mad and and it's so there's this will be a little personal anecdote. [SPEAKER_04]: I've got a story actually Jody has that on the shirt there.

[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly, but so my My grandma my grandmother my mom's mom back in the day My my granddad died before she did and she she was on her own for a few years and she was in her little apartment. [SPEAKER_04]: I remember God this was [SPEAKER_04]: Trying to think, I think it was in college at this point, early college. [SPEAKER_04]: So 90s, sometime early 90s, mid 90s, somewhat. [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you're so young. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I know. [SPEAKER_04]: I know.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I was talking with her about some of the racial issues and some of the stuff that was coming up with Fox in the way the day and so it had to have been like 95, 96, something like that. [SPEAKER_04]: Mid 90s. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, because it's just Fox over to the ground, too. [SPEAKER_07]: Right, exactly. [SPEAKER_07]: 95. [SPEAKER_04]: And now she was, yeah, a little bit older, whatever.

[SPEAKER_04]: she was talking about how she didn't like how many of the people of her age cohort were kind of racist and and she said Negro people are just fine and she said I don't understand why and but this is you know she was she told but I was very in some ways I was very proud of her because I could see that she was trying very hard to say

[SPEAKER_04]: Negro as opposed to the end word because when she was growing up that's the word that she had been brought up Yeah, and she's like no, no, no, yeah, she said that's yeah, but she'd say no, she was that's but it went from the N word colored to Negro to African-American to black Right, no, there's no more with that, but he was always

[SPEAKER_04]: you know advanced progressive I get what you're saying now yeah and that's kind of what I was paid my my my grandma too is that it was it was it was progress and if kids today looked at her looked at that story and I might judging that God she used that word and I'm like um do you know what do you have the ability to be stands for? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, do you know what the end of the national social issue? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, of course people exactly.

[SPEAKER_07]: Right, that's what the news back it from like the time to JFK even in their half a Negro. [SPEAKER_07]: Right. [SPEAKER_06]: I like what even even MLK said Negro. [SPEAKER_04]: That's right. [SPEAKER_04]: That was the progressive word of the day. [SPEAKER_04]: That's what it was. [SPEAKER_07]: And if you're trying it, they don't even like that. [SPEAKER_07]: Some people don't like it. [SPEAKER_07]: It's not accurate because a lot of them are not from Africa. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: But the idea is that you got to get people leeway. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, [SPEAKER_04]: I have I've said before. [SPEAKER_04]: I have some trans neighbors. [SPEAKER_04]: One of them move another one's still here, which is great to hear walking around when I'm walking Christopher all the time. [SPEAKER_04]: And [SPEAKER_04]: We had a conversation one time when we were talking and I said, so I said, I got to ask if somebody tries.

[SPEAKER_04]: If somebody is like, you know, they mess up on their pronouns with you, I said, is it a big deal? [SPEAKER_04]: She's like, no, as long as they're trying. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_06]: With Liam, I mean, Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: Right. [SPEAKER_07]: That's, and that's actually what I was going to ask you about that.

[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I mean, I mean, I had a conversation, you know, because I mean, there are definitely, you know, some siblings that, you know, some of my siblings that slipped, you know, on some pronouns, and you know, I just I said, I go look, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go, I go,

[SPEAKER_05]: this is all new to, you know, to everybody, you know, this is who you were up until this point and now people are still trying to, you know, get difficult to it and it's, yeah, and it's like I go, you have to give people grace, people grace and you know, I'm sure it is absolutely absolutely absolutely and I think that's kind of where I was going with the whole thing with Bill Clinton and the fact that, you know, yep. [SPEAKER_07]: people.

[SPEAKER_07]: It's a lot of Democrat to prove they're not their nonpartisan. [SPEAKER_07]: We're being partisan here with these robocontan out there. [SPEAKER_07]: I saw it with Chris today. [SPEAKER_07]: I've seen it online. [SPEAKER_07]: I see it all the time. [SPEAKER_07]: Well, I do see. [SPEAKER_04]: I do see people doing that and you've mentioned that before.

[SPEAKER_04]: I need to wear where people on it, Karen, you have the whole piece that you wrote on some stack about the, you know, critical apologizing beforehand. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Don't qualify. [SPEAKER_05]: Don't qualify. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: And I look at it and say, [SPEAKER_04]: Bill is not a perfect person. [SPEAKER_04]: Bill was a perfect person.

[SPEAKER_04]: He was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was the best president that we had had up to that time. [SPEAKER_04]: And then when we had Obama, he was the best president we had up to. [SPEAKER_04]: And then when we had Biden, he was, there is a pattern here folks, just saying, and if Hillary had gotten elected, she would have probably been the best president. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm pretty damn sure of that one. [SPEAKER_07]: They just keep getting better.

[SPEAKER_07]: And if Kamala did, well, yeah, we keep getting better. [SPEAKER_07]: They keep getting worse, they went from Reagan to push, well, [SPEAKER_07]: was actually better than Reagan. [SPEAKER_04]: I agree with you. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not in some way. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: W. And that's part of the reason that H. W. Bush lost H. W. Bush lost because he was good. [SPEAKER_04]: Because he was not ruled off and mean enough and a big enough jerk.

[SPEAKER_07]: I agree with all the back. [SPEAKER_07]: He didn't go all the back there. [SPEAKER_07]: Pist off about that which was the smart thing to do.

[SPEAKER_07]: And he raised taxes when he [SPEAKER_04]: that's the biggest thing exactly but that's the thing is that it's all a stretch of progress it's an idea of moving from the past to the future we got to try and do this and you can't judge people from the past with that especially if they've kept trying [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, when Bella said, like, go get, get him. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, if he's in the, if he's dialed, he's in the afternoon.

[SPEAKER_07]: And we haven't seen anything like I told like I said to Joe today, if there would have been any credible allegations, I'm pretty sure the Trump deal, Jay would of course they would have. [SPEAKER_07]: We would know. [SPEAKER_07]: And they were protected the other people. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, so Bellators, they think they would have protected the others. [SPEAKER_04]: They would have, they would have been very selective.

[SPEAKER_04]: The DOJ before it got messed up under the current regime of... Oh, and Bill Barr prayers. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, especially the evil bill bar. [SPEAKER_04]: Look, there are a lot of people who know a hell of a lot more about the Trumpstein file. [SPEAKER_04]: Especially then, yeah, and none of them, none of them, every single one of them who has been asked in any particular way has said, there's nothing there with Bill.

[SPEAKER_06]: There's nothing they would feel like there were like a near and Karen of always said and I have said to Like they would have I mean Bella's like oh there are elites unlike yes, but if it was just bill They would just release bill absolutely Oh, they would have and then they tried They tried what they tried was on bill Clinton to try to pick up with some way from Donald Trump That's why they released those pictures.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's right [SPEAKER_04]: And the whole thing is, this is one of the reasons why, you know, normally I wouldn't necessarily believe the stories about Pam Bondi crying and bawling about the fact that she's going to have to testify about the Epstein files to the oversight committee behind closed doors and answering questions to real lawyers.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's going to be a but normally I wouldn't necessarily be like I was a little bit of a drama but I wouldn't necessarily be surprised because not only there's the crap that she's learning in the last 14 months, she got the job, but there's also the fact that she was the attorney general of Florida and she knew a whole lot exactly and there are well and there are [SPEAKER_04]: that she cannot hide behind at the federal level.

[SPEAKER_04]: She cannot, which means when they get her to testify, not if, when they get her to testify, the whole rest of her life is going to be so messed up. [SPEAKER_06]: And then across can burn her right here. [SPEAKER_06]: But across right there, it's going to burn her right in our strong, right? [SPEAKER_04]: It's like when Sherry Jakobas told us about the fact that she had heard from more liable sources that Donald now is looking at going, I don't like to care a line so much anymore.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, she's fat now. [SPEAKER_07]: Because she's pregnant. [SPEAKER_07]: Black eye. [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't see that. [SPEAKER_07]: What? [SPEAKER_07]: I didn't. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh. [SPEAKER_04]: I hadn't heard. [SPEAKER_04]: I hadn't seen that. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I didn't. [SPEAKER_04]: I hadn't seen that. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to see that. [SPEAKER_06]: No. [SPEAKER_06]: Caroline is getting fat. [SPEAKER_06]: So he doesn't like fat. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, she's pregnant.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: She's pregnant. [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't like fat. [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't like fat. [SPEAKER_04]: Well sure right exactly and and but sure enough like after after Sherry was in bar last night telling is that sure enough I saw like several other pieces come out today.

[SPEAKER_04]: I was like geez and and we we got one of them there from political talking about several of the people that are going to get Come up in cell we say and may lose their jobs That's the biggest thing is is once they leave the administration. [SPEAKER_04]: They got no immunity. [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be [SPEAKER_07]: it's going to be the women and the minorities in that. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah, but it's it with with the way that headset is going to he might end up on there, too.

[SPEAKER_04]: We can talk more about it here in the after. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's after us. [SPEAKER_06]: What's the guys? [SPEAKER_04]: It's Friday night. [SPEAKER_04]: here at the politics bar.
