[SPEAKER_09]: It's political. [SPEAKER_07]: Thinking, radical. [SPEAKER_07]: You think it's far away, but you are. [SPEAKER_09]: The politics bar. [SPEAKER_09]: Shotsmith, Harrison, Jody Hamilton. [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, hey, Jordi. [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, you, Sean, it is Thursday, I believe. [SPEAKER_04]: Thursday, I'm a fugal fan. [SPEAKER_03]: Thursday with fugal fan. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, we will have John Fugal saying in the bar a little bit later. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a little bit busy.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's nice here, finally, Jordi. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you for finally sending us some of the heat. [SPEAKER_03]: It was about 76, 7 and sunny earlier today. [SPEAKER_03]: Trees are starting to bloom. [SPEAKER_03]: Cherry blossoms were starting to pop, so it's kind of nice. [SPEAKER_04]: I love cherry blossoms. [SPEAKER_04]: My neighbor has a cherry blossom trees. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's good.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Lonnie hates it because he cleans our pool now because obviously, well, there's that. [SPEAKER_02]: But we can talk about it later. [SPEAKER_03]: It is pretty though. [SPEAKER_03]: It's pretty here in the city. [SPEAKER_03]: Hopefully it's nicer where you happen to be. [SPEAKER_03]: Wherever that is, whether you happen to be listening to us on any of our great radio affiliates like Georgian Al Radio in Atlanta. [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, the greater Georgia region.

[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you are listening on AM950 Minneapolis [SPEAKER_03]: You know, maybe you're listening over in the detour talk in Tennessee or on M820 Chicago WCPT or progressive voices radio world wide wherever you happen to be or you know, maybe you're one of those the you drew people.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, we like you future people you tell us things occasionally other some things of which you tell us more of and you don't but whatever we you know, we can't criticize anything or everything I should say we criticize some things just. [SPEAKER_03]: not that. [SPEAKER_03]: What have, what have. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so have to ask. [SPEAKER_03]: Do you know anybody who's been going to the airport in your corner of the world?

[SPEAKER_04]: Actually, I was texting with Anna Ortiz, the actor. [SPEAKER_04]: She invited her to go with me to the because she lives in my near me. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, to the no kings rally. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so I invited her, I said, hey, a friend of mine's meeting me here, plenty of parking. [SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna walk down. [SPEAKER_04]: It's only a mile from my house, blah, blah, blah. [SPEAKER_04]: She texted me today.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm in, I'm going to New York and like, safe travels. [SPEAKER_03]: She's like, so she's not gonna be there for the rally unfortunately. [SPEAKER_04]: She's gonna march a New York. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay, which, I mean, you know, great for you. [SPEAKER_03]: I know we appreciate that, although, honestly, quite frankly, she's heading to New York tomorrow. [SPEAKER_03]: It's good that she's in the future. [SPEAKER_04]: No, she's going today. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, sorry.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean tomorrow being works because Fridays are actually Thursdays and Los Angeles are kind of the worst days to try to go to the airport. [SPEAKER_03]: According to most of the airlines and most of the airports they're saying if you try to go during the middle of the day, the lines are not that bad.

[SPEAKER_03]: Of course the problem if you try to go in the middle of the day is if your flight is delayed or there's any problems and you have a connection then you're screwed and you miss it. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we texted me at. [SPEAKER_04]: I will give you the time of day that she texted me. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this morning some time. [SPEAKER_04]: She texted me. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, she was at the airport at about 10 o'clock this morning. [SPEAKER_03]: So good luck to her.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know hopefully her flight was like two. [SPEAKER_03]: I am sure. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm kidding. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I mean, I've been hearing that the even people like I like me who has have TSA pre it's still three hours in the TSA pre line. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's it's absolutely in freaking saying that the lines are insanely long and the TSA folks are not doing squat TSA people are doing stuff.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's just the ice people aren't doing so pardon me, you're right the ice people well I mean, but the TSA people are they're doing what they can they call it what they can yeah right 35 to 40% I know Was it to Senator Gary Peters [SPEAKER_03]: earlier today.

[SPEAKER_03]: He did the media rounds and then he said he was going to the Senate floor and presenting the Democratic bill again to basically same thing they've been presenting a whole time, which is fun to everything except ice and CBP. [SPEAKER_04]: It's not a brainer, just do it people. [SPEAKER_03]: He was going to ask for unanimous consent. [SPEAKER_03]: And so long as Republicans didn't object, he would have gone to the floor, they would have a vote and probably gone over to the house.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, that's because Republicans keep objecting. [SPEAKER_02]: They're like, why won't you do what we want? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's because we don't belong to you. [SPEAKER_02]: You're not owned by you. [SPEAKER_02]: We're not owned by you. [SPEAKER_02]: This doesn't work. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, Delta Airlines, who has been transporting by the way immigrants to places, which is bad.

[SPEAKER_04]: But they have decided not to give Congress people any preferential treatment anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: Hi, United. [SPEAKER_04]: Hi, American. [SPEAKER_04]: Hi, Allegiant. [SPEAKER_04]: Hi, Southwest.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hi. [SPEAKER_03]: spirit airlines, whatever news on tap and and most of the airlines actually have that we had some stories obviously today's news on tap about that skipping that first round about the stupid wars which everybody hates we'll talk about them but in the second round about Republicans can't govern so the Republican or government shutdown rolls on nearly 500 TSA airport security staff has already quit but they totally quit, they're not even there.

[SPEAKER_04]: 41 days since the shutdown, seriously, who can handle that most people can't handle a week or a week without a paycheck. [SPEAKER_03]: The average pay is about 35 to 50,000. [SPEAKER_03]: That's nothing. [SPEAKER_02]: Right, especially for how they're treated and the stress that they're under and Republicans and a lot of the mainstream media is still doing the wood, but Democrats, why won't Democrats just give Republicans what they want?

[SPEAKER_02]: Because that's not how it works. [SPEAKER_03]: I really, I get really mad a lot at the mainstream media these days, um, who was, oh, I heard, uh, I was flipping through this afternoon and heard, uh, Chris Jancing say the wrong name of the Kennedy Center. [SPEAKER_03]: And I just had to pop off on something. [SPEAKER_03]: She did not. [SPEAKER_03]: She did, she did. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just like, you want to go work for Fox.

[SPEAKER_03]: Now as a perfect time for you to leave, don't let the or hit you where the good Lord splits you mean, you know, I didn't include all of [SPEAKER_03]: Joe D is right, there's no argument with that. [SPEAKER_03]: But anyway, I was speaking of the Kennedy Center. [SPEAKER_03]: Do you hear that Bill Mar, in fact, I think actually, no, you're the one who told me that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, sorry, I forgot. [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah, Bill, Bill Mar is supposedly getting the art enterprise.

[SPEAKER_03]: Art enterprise. [SPEAKER_04]: Art enterprise? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I'm glad that he's getting it just because it shows that the White House is full of crap. [SPEAKER_04]: doesn't deserve it. [SPEAKER_04]: Not anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: He might have 10, 15 years ago, but not anymore exactly what I was going to say exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm like, nope, I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: It's reminds me to some degree of the, um, the whole thing going on up in Maine.

[SPEAKER_03]: Didn't even include that on the news on tap today, but [SPEAKER_03]: There are some polls that have, um, um, the two Democratic candidates. [SPEAKER_03]: The governor of the area. [SPEAKER_03]: Evans and and, uh, Platner, uh, both within the, the 2.5. [SPEAKER_03]: I think it was margin, uh, both of them beating, um, the Republican Collins by six to eight points.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's always just the right, but there's another poll that, of course, a lot of the lefties are lowers that that Platinum is like 30 points up on on Evans. [SPEAKER_03]: Ha ha ha ha. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm like, okay, great. [SPEAKER_03]: So you're gonna elect a Nazi. [SPEAKER_03]: You're gonna nominate a Nazi.

[SPEAKER_03]: So a Nazi for you versus a crappy Republican and then every Democrat in all 50 states and seven territories who runs for anything is gonna have to be asked, will do you side with the Nazi? [SPEAKER_03]: I get it, a lot of mayors happen to be kind of, they give the finger to the establishment. [SPEAKER_03]: I get that. [SPEAKER_03]: And there are times when I'm with you mayors and there are other times when I'm like, read the room, Jack, ass.

[SPEAKER_04]: So, didn't Bernie endorse him? [SPEAKER_03]: I think Bernie did, I think Elizabeth did. [SPEAKER_03]: I think, well, I know Elizabeth did. [SPEAKER_04]: And Bernie started that. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't understand. [SPEAKER_04]: And I, you know, I'm like, it could be what his platform is and not the tattoo. [SPEAKER_04]: So, I just hope he's not a fetterman. [SPEAKER_03]: To me, there's a whole lot of fetterman cinema, mansion, stank coming off of that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, if he becomes a federman or a mansion or a sentiment mark my words, those two will just go, oh my god, what was I thinking? [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it's, it's great that you go, what were you thinking? [SPEAKER_03]: There are, there are a lot of Americans right now with this war in Iran who are going, well, what were we thinking, electing Donald Trump again? [SPEAKER_03]: And that's great. [SPEAKER_03]: But there are 13 dead Americans.

[SPEAKER_03]: There are thousands of dead people from different nations in the Middle East. [SPEAKER_03]: There is really, so are dead. [SPEAKER_03]: There are Iranians who are dead. [SPEAKER_03]: There are Lebanese. [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: And you're going, well, Gali, what was I thinking? [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it just doesn't, I don't mean you personally, John. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm talking to you if you, the person out there who's listening.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, my old friend who I don't talk to anymore of 40 years who was like, he's never going to start a war. [SPEAKER_04]: Dude. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: The people who were like, well, he wouldn't do that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: He would. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: He was absolutely would. [SPEAKER_03]: Here's the thing.

[SPEAKER_03]: If if you want to know the truth about what Donald Trump feels about you, I think this was in this cabinet meeting today. [SPEAKER_03]: Let me see if I can get this from just right to the right place of the DVR here. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what he thinks about you. [SPEAKER_03]: Got that? [SPEAKER_03]: Just let me roll that back just for those people who didn't hear.

[SPEAKER_03]: Hey, Donald, what do you think about the people who feel bad about voting for you now? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: What about the people who don't like your worn around? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: What do you think about that? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, the fact of the matter is he doesn't care. [SPEAKER_03]: No, he doesn't.

[SPEAKER_04]: He couldn't care less if he tried. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: And the people who go, oh, but, you know, I feel bad now. [SPEAKER_04]: Great. [SPEAKER_04]: Come on the bus. [SPEAKER_04]: You can drive it vote appropriately in the future from now on people and pre-chilled glass, obviously, but Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Always with a pre-chilled glass, but Regardless, look, look, look, cash, gas, a grass, it was speaking in the glass.

[SPEAKER_03]: But just saying those of you who know, no, anyway, but [SPEAKER_03]: The people who are, I mean, we're being polite even when we say that we'll allow people to come on. [SPEAKER_03]: And I do think when we as we talk to Ezra Levin yesterday, with the march this weekend, it's gonna be great. [SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be a really good no kings rally. [SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna be a great time to for people to celebrate that they can join around the same idea.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I think people [SPEAKER_03]: If you're one of those people who did the wrong thing who said the wrong thing who made the wrong choice voted the wrong way Hmm who didn't think Or didn't vote even more that Hell yes that deserves a bell Um Just because we let you on a metaphorical bus with the rest of us does it mean that we've forgotten yeah, and it doesn't mean that Carmeically you don't deserve an ass-welping

[SPEAKER_03]: I remember when I got to be, oh, probably 13, 12, 13, something like that, and I wasn't when I was younger back in the day when we were we all new more when we were 13 than we do now. [SPEAKER_03]: Obviously. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, but I'm saying when when when we were growing up, there's a lot more parents who, uh, spank their kids. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, my folks did. [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: I got to be that age and my mom instead of, because obviously she's not going to do it then, she'd be like, I'd thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: just know that I would just she's just telling me that I had reached that point in the being stupid maneuver of the day that had I been younger she would have given me a swat on a mass and I probably deserved it a whole lot of time because I was dumbass in some ways when I was younger.

[SPEAKER_03]: So when we invite you on a bus and you knew you did wrong, that isn't licensed for you to lip off. [SPEAKER_03]: That isn't licensed for you to be like, well, I'm in a mistake. [SPEAKER_03]: We're not okay eating nor that. [SPEAKER_03]: I can do whatever dumb things I want. [SPEAKER_03]: No, that is a license for you to sit, listen, and think, and learn. [SPEAKER_03]: That's the alternative is, you get thrown to the walls.

[SPEAKER_03]: The alternative is when somebody says, there's a job opportunity that I could have for you, or a business opportunity that could have for you. [SPEAKER_03]: And then I'll give it to you, and you never know. [SPEAKER_03]: Because you made the wrong decision and people knew about it. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, there's gotta be some humility. [SPEAKER_03]: There's gotta be some, I messed up.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And really, if you look at the polls, I don't care which polls you either. [SPEAKER_03]: We've got, let's see, we've got a whole bunch of polls. [SPEAKER_04]: He's under water with Fox. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: He's like, when you're on the water as a Republican, even with Fox, Pew, Quinnipiac, Varacite, Strengthen Numbers, and Fox. [SPEAKER_03]: Congratulations. [SPEAKER_03]: You just want to win with the fishes.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, politically speaking. [SPEAKER_05]: Ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly. [SPEAKER_03]: Juddies, right. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, we will get in a little bit more of the details on this. [SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, we will get into details about the Iran War. [SPEAKER_03]: We got to talk to you a little bit more about that drink of the day coming up a little bit later. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, it's strong to the finish. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll just, exactly.

[SPEAKER_03]: Huh. [SPEAKER_03]: Where's the beach? [SPEAKER_02]: There you go. [SPEAKER_03]: There, this way, this way, this way, this way, this way, this way, this way. [SPEAKER_04]: It kind of flexed that muscle to let them know where the beaches. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, indeed. [SPEAKER_03]: John Figuosagues coming into. [SPEAKER_03]: We are glad you're here fresh in your drink and come right back. [SPEAKER_03]: The Thursday night of politics won't be right back.

[SPEAKER_08]: After we pay some bills at the politics bar. [SPEAKER_03]: It is Thursday night. [SPEAKER_03]: Figure out the politics bar. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much for coming to us from whatever corner of the world you guys have. [SPEAKER_03]: And to be well, we know that you have a lot of choices on your entertainment and information.

[SPEAKER_03]: So we're glad that you guys choose to hang out with us, and of course, interact with us on all of your favorite social media platforms, whether that is Blue Sky or Threads, Instagram, Facebook, Substack, Twitter or YouTube, we are at the politics bar. [SPEAKER_03]: on all of them, which if you're listening to this right now, you're at the Baltics bar too. [SPEAKER_03]: By the way, thank you to everybody who reaches out on that bar line 2136777258.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's 213677758 or 213677 salt like in. [SPEAKER_03]: y'all margarita alrighty here uh let me look and see what i've got for comments uh from the bar uh because you know uh fill by the way um says that uh somebody suggested Iran should demand that they will only negotiate [SPEAKER_03]: President Obama and I have to say that that's good. [SPEAKER_03]: That is a suggestion worth offering Phil.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, the old, what is it that I hope he's whatever, a bot knows it off hand. [SPEAKER_03]: The, the, the Iran nuclear deal. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: The old one, it was negotiated with Obama's with John Kerry, I believe. [SPEAKER_03]: And yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Putin's people. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, you know, look, a personal comic could negotiate with almost anybody and bring John Kerry back because he did, you know, Exactly.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I got no issues with Obama's abilities on that kind of thing. [SPEAKER_03]: But I do think that that would make Donald's head absolutely explode. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he would be like, We'd get scanners out of him. [SPEAKER_03]: which by the way, that is what he likes to watch you. [SPEAKER_04]: And I were talking about that kind of videos, man. [SPEAKER_04]: It's just like things go boom. [SPEAKER_04]: Yay. [SPEAKER_04]: We're winning.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yay. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he's the Instagram president in a bad way. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's hexa. [SPEAKER_04]: He's awful.

[SPEAKER_03]: We didn't include this one in the news on tap today because there have been a lot of people just been talking about it and there's not much to say other than the fact that Donald Trump when he gets his briefings apparently they make video montages a couple minutes to have two three minute video montages a lot of it is blowing stuff up because they say that that's the primary way that he actually pays attention information. [SPEAKER_03]: He's a child. [SPEAKER_03]: Judges right.

[SPEAKER_03]: He is an instantile. [SPEAKER_04]: He's a, I mean, he's, he's a, a best, a six year old at this point in many ways. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: It is. [SPEAKER_04]: And then he said there's a 12 year old boy playing video games. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, I think more like 13 or 14 because he's got that he's he's the the reason why he's got a little bit of He's just a little bit more cool I Really think of it as he's there's our more cruel. [SPEAKER_04]: You're right.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and he said I want everybody that's I forget what the quote was but how Christian of him at the prayer thing that he did [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yes, he did a prayer service and other one. [SPEAKER_04]: Or he wants people dead. [SPEAKER_03]: Who don't agree with him basically? [SPEAKER_04]: That's like, that's not. [SPEAKER_04]: Toiling the question of you.

[SPEAKER_03]: Talking to a couple of my friends that happened to work at the five-sided building that I'm assuming it didn't go over well. [SPEAKER_03]: There are a lot of things that this regime is doing. [SPEAKER_03]: And this, this is obviously not in the news on tap because this is information you wouldn't get anywhere else. [SPEAKER_03]: I won't tell you who my friends are.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I will tell you that I have more than one who has said to me, there are a lot of things that have upset the folks who work at the five side of building in Washington, D.C. [SPEAKER_03]: But they're professionals, so they still do their jobs the way they're supposed to. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, there's a way you can do your job, what's called CYA, where you cover your ass. [SPEAKER_03]: You do nothing more than your supposed to, but nothing less than your supposed to.

[SPEAKER_03]: You do exactly what you're supposed to within. [SPEAKER_04]: So nobody notices one way or the other. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: And also, so that way you don't have to give credence or credit to ridiculous theories and things. [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: But in a certain type of work environment, and a lot of us have had that, whether you work at a diner, whether you work at a shop, or, you know, whether you're retired and you used to work somewhere in office building or retail space, whatever, where. [SPEAKER_03]: You've worked under CYA for a while. [SPEAKER_03]: And then, unfortunately, things just get worse.

[SPEAKER_03]: And the person who is the monster or the people who are the monsters get even worse than that and you just go, look, I know unemployment's tough where I just can't take it. [SPEAKER_03]: I have to, you may not have been you. [SPEAKER_03]: You may know somebody. [SPEAKER_03]: But in a couple of my friends have said, it's a couple of, well, a few of the people that they know are either have done it or are looking at doing it. [SPEAKER_03]: They work as professionals at Pentagon.

[SPEAKER_03]: But, and, and there are a ton of civilians that work at Pentagon, and many of them are also veterans. [SPEAKER_03]: Like me, which is fine. [SPEAKER_03]: But, um, [SPEAKER_03]: It is now getting to the point where, especially like with these, this church service, it's not a church service that he's trying to be a Trump rally and kill the people I don't like. [SPEAKER_03]: They're even going, look, man. [SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of stuff that we can overlook.

[SPEAKER_03]: Pentagon is one of those environments where the people who work there often have to overlook a whole lot of stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't necessarily agree with anyway.

[SPEAKER_03]: But when the BS gets that high, they're like, man, no. [SPEAKER_03]: he's not he's he is a white nationalist he is a white fake Christian nationalist we'll have to talk with John Fierdo said about that we have him on today yeah and he is look take breath is a fake Christian absolutely frequently absolutely so he's a pastor who wants to re-code dead

[SPEAKER_03]: that's well, it depends on how you read it and he's trying his pastors trying to do that dance that many on the right do where I'm going to say that I want so and so dead, but I'm not really I'm saying I want to get to get to get them. [SPEAKER_04]: So I mean, that's kind of big. [SPEAKER_03]: But he said he wanted God to get him. [SPEAKER_03]: He didn't say he wanted God to kill him. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's God to kill him.

[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't know, but that's the way that they try to parse it on their side is they say I didn't outright say that I wanted God to kill so and so I wanted to get him. [SPEAKER_04]: I read the transcript. [SPEAKER_02]: I know. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm with you too, but that's why I'm just, it's just, it's ridiculous. [SPEAKER_04]: And Talereko God bless him because he's an actual Christian. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you guys saw it on social media.

[SPEAKER_04]: He was just like, hey, I love you. [SPEAKER_03]: He did a social media version of Bless Your Heart. [SPEAKER_04]: Basically, well, he is Southern. [SPEAKER_04]: But he did the right thing and what he... [SPEAKER_04]: social out. [SPEAKER_04]: He did. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's what a good question does. [SPEAKER_04]: Look, hate the sin love the sinner. [SPEAKER_03]: He just threw actual Christianity at them. [SPEAKER_03]: It's one of the reasons why I'm meant for that.

[SPEAKER_03]: They hate him because they don't have to deal with it. [SPEAKER_03]: No. [SPEAKER_03]: They're like, but how do you deal with it? [SPEAKER_03]: Which is why they act out with violence because they want to act out with violence to get him to react with violence because then they can say, [SPEAKER_04]: Now he won't do it because he's an actual Christian, and that's the problem that they have with him.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's a problem with these fake Christians that think he's not a real Christian. [SPEAKER_04]: That pastor actually said he's not a real Christian. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh my goodness. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, they've said that kind of thing for years. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, the kind of insult they have are childish. [SPEAKER_03]: Like we were saying, Donald's a child, perfect example of this. [SPEAKER_03]: So, Donald's been doing this several days now.

[SPEAKER_03]: Trump keeps claiming Iran is begging for a deal. [SPEAKER_03]: He's begging for a deal. [SPEAKER_03]: And no, no, no, they're not. [SPEAKER_03]: They keep saying, no, we're not begging for a deal. [SPEAKER_03]: Republicans in Congress, though, if you noticed, this is something that it's hard to report on. [SPEAKER_03]: We've got the story in the news on tap in the first round.

[SPEAKER_03]: The Republicans are continuously conspicuously leaving the door open about boots on the ground. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not coming out and saying what Democrats are, which is no boots on the ground. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not even coming out and saying what people like Warren Voverdart is, which is absolutely no more money. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: First stupid ass war. [SPEAKER_03]: They're going, you know, we got to leave that up to Donald.

[SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_04]: It's on Congress. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, Donald, he's kind of a man at a time here. [SPEAKER_03]: Let me play this one for the DVR, it's real short. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't want a stupid person being present, you know? [SPEAKER_02]: I don't eat her. [SPEAKER_02]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_03]: It's what he's right, he should. [SPEAKER_03]: He was talking, he was slamming and smearing newsom again.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's the thing, Donald's, Donald's only reaction in the reaction of all these maggots is school yard bullies. [SPEAKER_03]: He can't really talk about the successes of a rat. [SPEAKER_03]: He tries to, you know, be here. [SPEAKER_03]: Because there aren't any. [SPEAKER_03]: Right, and look, the people who have cool heads are saying, Mike Rogers, he's a house member. [SPEAKER_03]: He's been on Intel Committees for ages.

[SPEAKER_03]: He was looked at as basically being too honest for any of the intelligence physicians in Donald's cabinet. [SPEAKER_03]: That tells you a lot. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying Mike Rogers is not a partisan, because he absolutely is. [SPEAKER_03]: But he was blasting Trump at Higgs F. Blasting depending on for not providing [SPEAKER_03]: Congress. [SPEAKER_03]: And serious actual details. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And here's the way you know that we're failing at the Iran War.

[SPEAKER_03]: Michael A. Cohen has a great piece that we stuck in. [SPEAKER_03]: No, not the Trump Michael Cohen, the other one. [SPEAKER_03]: This, he's got a piece at MS now that we stuck in talking about how the Trump administration is letting Iran dictate the terms of the conflict and the path out of the war. [SPEAKER_03]: If Donald was confident, he wouldn't be doing that. [SPEAKER_03]: And he's not. [SPEAKER_03]: and the American people know this.

[SPEAKER_03]: We said that the polls are bad, this is no joke. [SPEAKER_03]: So we've got a whole section on the poll positions of Americans. [SPEAKER_03]: And Americans are saying, get to hell out of Iran. [SPEAKER_03]: The strength of numbers, Varysite poll today. [SPEAKER_03]: First of all, Americans are rejecting the Iran war completely. [SPEAKER_03]: 72% opposed sending ground troops in the conflict.

[SPEAKER_03]: 60% would prefer the [SPEAKER_03]: It's very, very clear that Americans don't want this. [SPEAKER_03]: Quinnipiac polls, similar, Pew poll, Americans broadly disapprove of the US military action in Iran. [SPEAKER_03]: You're looking at six in ten disapprove of Trump's handling of the conflict. [SPEAKER_04]: That's almost 60 percent. [SPEAKER_03]: It is. [SPEAKER_03]: It is 60%.

[SPEAKER_03]: And just as many say the decision to use force to go to war with a rain in the first place was wrong. [SPEAKER_03]: And then yeah, even the Fox propaganda network pulling shows voters at Fox are turning on Trump. [SPEAKER_03]: His disapproval ratings are now basically 60%. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a 46 at Fox.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's technically 39. [SPEAKER_03]: I believe it is, which is, is the highest level of disapproval on a Fox [SPEAKER_03]: Americans are sick of this, and at the same time, the US military killed four more people in the Caribbean, another one of these stupid ass motestrucks that are completely into a legal and they hit the dairy farm in Ecuador. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, we had that. [SPEAKER_03]: I think we had it yesterday.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we did in the miscellaneous section yesterday that they proven that we may have all watched that actually the strike that we saw or we were like, oh, that was an Ecuador. [SPEAKER_03]: They believe that was actually the the videos that were put out were the strike on what was a dairy farm. [SPEAKER_04]: It was a dairy farm. [SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't are they narco?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, no. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, they the most of the cows survived, but I think they blew [SPEAKER_03]: So they're knock up birds. [SPEAKER_04]: I They had to have been otherwise why would we do that? [SPEAKER_04]: Are they flying the drugs here? [SPEAKER_04]: Chickens because they don't fly very well. [SPEAKER_04]: I saw chicken run. [SPEAKER_04]: They don't fly very well. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, I don't know why they would blow the chickens. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe Lindsey Graham knows.

[SPEAKER_08]: We're gonna be on our knees. [SPEAKER_08]: We're gonna blow the hell out of these people. [SPEAKER_08]: Best money ever spent. [SPEAKER_03]: So I just had to add a little bit of a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: Sean Louise. [SPEAKER_03]: I've been seeing actually there is Dr. Annie Andrews who is running against Gidol Lindsey. [SPEAKER_03]: She actually put out an ad where she basically uses those clips.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm pretty certain she's either listening to Stephanie or listening to us here at the bar. [SPEAKER_03]: And if you're listening to us, Dr. Andrews, we appreciate that. [SPEAKER_03]: You can you can come up to the microphone. [SPEAKER_04]: Come on, let us know our email addresses are available. [SPEAKER_03]: Let us know. [SPEAKER_03]: It's just it's one of those where you're like really really I mean Lindsay's been a warm auger for a long time.

[SPEAKER_03]: They've been a lot of warm augers on the right and and they've said things before like oh you know we should kill the whole cast real family and we should never deal with them and then [SPEAKER_03]: As we have it in the first round today in the Trump's other foreign wars, Cuba's current president Miguel Diaz Canal has confirmed that former President Robo Castro is in talks with the US to avoid a war because of the blockade.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, people are dying in Cuba because of what we're doing to them. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: But of course, I mean, other than us mentioning it occasionally on MS now, [SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes on Algesire English, occasionally on the BBC. [SPEAKER_03]: Other than that, I think that's about all that I've seen for most of the last four or five days. [SPEAKER_04]: And people have died. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, because they can't, their generators aren't getting filled.

[SPEAKER_04]: So hospital people are dying in hospitals. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Because why, again, why did we stop? [SPEAKER_04]: Why? [SPEAKER_03]: Because the Cuban government is precarious. [SPEAKER_03]: And Donald and Donald and Rubio, Rubio, of course, who really wants to knock off the Cuban government, they want to win. [SPEAKER_03]: And they figure if they just push it a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: Like somebody standing on a train platform too close to the edge.

[SPEAKER_03]: They figure if they just push it and then they can take credit for it. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I was an nasty person anyway. [SPEAKER_03]: So, oops, sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: We won. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, we got a win. [SPEAKER_04]: But they're killing innocent people in hospitals. [SPEAKER_03]: They're killing innocent people in the Middle East. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they killed 200 little girls. [SPEAKER_03]: They killed innocent people in Minnesota.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that story yesterday that the Minnesota is soon the government over that. [SPEAKER_03]: Saying that the government is killing us and people. [SPEAKER_03]: Saying the U.S. government is killing innocent people. [SPEAKER_03]: Used to be somewhat of a defense. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's especially under the Trump regime.

[SPEAKER_03]: Either one version one or version two, not a defense at all because, you know, as Donald said here, himself, [SPEAKER_03]: I wanna, in fact, we have other, I don't care. [SPEAKER_03]: There he goes. [SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't care. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't care. [SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't, he couldn't care less about anybody, but himself. [SPEAKER_04]: I look, Maloney had it on her clothes. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't care to you. [SPEAKER_04]: I really don't care to you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I kinda do. [SPEAKER_04]: I have so many words for her. [SPEAKER_03]: No, I do too. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, then it's gonna be one of your liberty. [SPEAKER_03]: We can say some of those words in the break. [SPEAKER_03]: I guess it's a different word to after the break, cause we're gonna do the drink of the day. [SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's drinkin' this stuff up. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, well, we'll call the waters.

[SPEAKER_03]: We will cool your blood pressure a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: It is a nice cool drink coming up. [SPEAKER_03]: And it will stick around. [SPEAKER_03]: It's the drink of the day. [SPEAKER_03]: Come up next. [SPEAKER_09]: Here, at the politics bar. [SPEAKER_03]: First and I hear politics bar we have some fun discussions when you guys cannot hear us on the microphones But you know, look, we're doing other things too. [SPEAKER_03]: We know you are also doing others stuff.

[SPEAKER_04]: We could put you know for pay at some point [SPEAKER_03]: I have for some point that I would not put out there. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh definitely. [SPEAKER_03]: Definitely. [SPEAKER_03]: Definitely. [SPEAKER_03]: That's why the mics are off sometimes. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, look, if you are doing other things, you're listening your favorite radio station now, but maybe you're like crap, you know, I had something to do. [SPEAKER_03]: No worries, man.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's why we've got the podcast, politicsbar.com. [SPEAKER_03]: The best thing you can do is go and get it $6 a month. [SPEAKER_03]: Remember that's a butt 50 a week. [SPEAKER_03]: should I say it? [SPEAKER_03]: No. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm. [SPEAKER_03]: Look. [SPEAKER_03]: Mark is the most open. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: But look. [SPEAKER_03]: Go and subscribe. [SPEAKER_03]: You get the podcast ad for you. [SPEAKER_03]: Get the drink of the day.

[SPEAKER_03]: With the recipe. [SPEAKER_03]: And you get the news on tap. [SPEAKER_03]: It's all there. [SPEAKER_03]: At the politics bar. [SPEAKER_03]: That count. [SPEAKER_03]: By the way, the March Madness is actually going on. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And my Huskers are going to wop-up on the Hawkeye's tonight. [SPEAKER_03]: Knock on wood, cross whatever eyes. [SPEAKER_04]: T-shirts, everything. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_03]: So we'll see what that goes it is opening day. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe your team has already lost. [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry about that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yankees did win last night. [SPEAKER_03]: No, like seven. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and judge with a lot. [SPEAKER_03]: So. [SPEAKER_03]: you know, whichever I mean, they did it without him. [SPEAKER_03]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_03]: But we'll have to see how your Dodgers do. [SPEAKER_04]: They're tonight. [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: My nationals were this afternoon. [SPEAKER_03]: Last check. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think they were doing that great against the cubs. [SPEAKER_03]: But whatever, I mean, it's fine. [SPEAKER_03]: It's [SPEAKER_03]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_03]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: It's carried a cubs fan or a socks fan. [SPEAKER_04]: We need to find that out. [SPEAKER_03]: We'll have to ask tomorrow.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I, I just, I have come to the realization as an ats fan that my team is going to perpetually suck until they sell the team to somebody who actually wants to invest money in them. [SPEAKER_03]: Just, you know, but. [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, it's like my college team. [SPEAKER_04]: They actually finally got just rid of the football. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Would you just wait? [SPEAKER_04]: They suck.

[SPEAKER_03]: Look, it's, but it's, it's the best thing about the beginning of opening day. [SPEAKER_03]: So technically, we would have been before last night's baseball game. [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: On that, that opening day, 24 hour period, the best part about it is that at the beginning of that, every team is a winner.

[SPEAKER_03]: not one is a loser well this is true see that's exactly that's that's how I registered see I think maybe you should be more of this because people are that's just cheesy but it is true everybody has a shot everybody has eaten their spinach and they're ready to fight arg which of course brings us to the drink of well it's about sailors and you are a [SPEAKER_03]: This is true, and I appreciate that. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you very much.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's also about one of my favorite cartoon characters. [SPEAKER_04]: He was fun. [SPEAKER_03]: It is good. [SPEAKER_03]: What is the drink of the day in the inspiration for you? [SPEAKER_04]: It is called a pop-by-sour cocktail because today is a national spinach day. [SPEAKER_04]: Who knew? [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: I've learned so much doing all these drinks. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, what day it is? [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: Let's find a drink.

[SPEAKER_03]: this is one of the fun things about we did this is something fun from music radio that we brought over here to talk radio because i've done a lot of music radio over the years and i just thought this would be something when we were putting a show together this would be great this is how you get it if if you ever end up talking to a bunch of old experienced radio DJs i know there aren't as many as there used to be but if you do when you're out there you'll notice that they're like god they seem to be filled with all of this weird trivia and

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, because we do all these days of the whatever, and that's you're like, wait a minute, let me get this straight. [SPEAKER_03]: These people even in the modern era still smoke too much drink too much. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, some of them take too many drugs, and they have the weirdest minutia, and they know because why? [SPEAKER_03]: Well, this is why, because we do all the days this special days. [SPEAKER_03]: do you like spinach journey? [SPEAKER_03]: I love spinach.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: I like it cooked. [SPEAKER_04]: I like it. [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't like it cooked when I was younger. [SPEAKER_04]: Much like I didn't like Brussels sprouts and other things that I do like now are broccoli. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm the same. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm the same. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but I've always like cold spinach. [SPEAKER_04]: I've always like to spinach salad since I was very little. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not necessarily a fan of it by itself.

[SPEAKER_04]: I like it. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's yummy. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, all I could as part of a salad, um, I like it, you know, cooked in different things are different pasta dishes where you can cook it in. [SPEAKER_03]: I love the part that you put in here about the fact, uh, uh, it's, it's towards the bottom of it, actually. [SPEAKER_03]: It reduces like crazy. [SPEAKER_03]: It does.

[SPEAKER_03]: It goes, there is this recipe that my wife and I have that we use spinach and you can, there's like, we'll take like two bags of, of the spinach leaves. [SPEAKER_04]: And it goes, [SPEAKER_03]: And you're like, where did it all go? [SPEAKER_04]: It's worth it. [SPEAKER_04]: You cook it. [SPEAKER_04]: It goes so tiny, then a little bit. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, I've always liked Popeye.

[SPEAKER_03]: And I've always liked the fact that Popeye, the sailor, man, we didn't include all of this, but it's a good, good bit of spinach history that you have related in here. [SPEAKER_03]: Spinach became popular during the Great Depression. [SPEAKER_03]: for some very simple reasons. [SPEAKER_03]: It was affordable. [SPEAKER_04]: It was nutrient dense and it is it's got it's got vitamin A. [SPEAKER_04]: It's got some it's got a iron in it. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a really healthy leaf.

[SPEAKER_03]: But pop by the sailor man was originally a minor character. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: And God was a called tiny thumbnail. [SPEAKER_03]: Something like that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't remember that. [SPEAKER_03]: And he ended up taking over the whole cartoon. [SPEAKER_03]: which is just great and it went from being a newspaper comic. [SPEAKER_03]: By the way, there is a difference. [SPEAKER_03]: A comic is printed or these days digital. [SPEAKER_03]: A cartoon has motion.

[SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: As an adjunct to the National Cartoon Society. [SPEAKER_03]: And technically a cartoon can be, but when you're these days, that's generally how they're referred to. [SPEAKER_03]: Comics tend to be... Yeah, there's static. [SPEAKER_03]: Stationary. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: And cartoon instead of motion. [SPEAKER_03]: Anything. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: But. [SPEAKER_03]: But I like Popeye.

[SPEAKER_03]: There is a statue of Popeye in Crystal City. [SPEAKER_04]: I love that statue that you got. [SPEAKER_03]: That's lovely. [SPEAKER_03]: I got the picture. [SPEAKER_03]: You got the history of it. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't realize that Crystal City used to be the capital of the spinach industry. [SPEAKER_03]: And so they put up a statue over in 1937, which [SPEAKER_03]: is cool. [SPEAKER_03]: Lots of great little history about spinach and the fact that it's, you know, kind of grown.

[SPEAKER_03]: It started basically in Iran and it has reached out all across the world. [SPEAKER_03]: It's, uh, it's really, it's a really cool history. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a really good vegetable. [SPEAKER_04]: It's, it's healthy for you to eat. [SPEAKER_04]: So, [SPEAKER_03]: And you've got a, you and you inserted a classic papaya. [SPEAKER_03]: I did. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: I love that as well.

[SPEAKER_03]: So that way you guys can, you know, when your, your guys are like, okay, yeah, it's at the break. [SPEAKER_03]: What am I going to do? [SPEAKER_03]: You can watch an episode of papaya right at the drinking. [SPEAKER_02]: Right there. [SPEAKER_03]: Show to give it to you. [SPEAKER_03]: Right there. [SPEAKER_03]: She's doing that for you. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you stand on. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm looking at you. [SPEAKER_03]: All right.

[SPEAKER_03]: Jody, what is in this wonderful papaya sour cocktail? [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: What kind of glass do we need? [SPEAKER_04]: It's a cook-glass that you need to pre-chill and then you need a shaker, a mixing glass, a muddler. [SPEAKER_04]: We haven't muddled in a minute. [SPEAKER_03]: A muddling. [SPEAKER_03]: It's muddling. [SPEAKER_03]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_04]: That's nuts. [SPEAKER_03]: Muddling. [SPEAKER_03]: Different. [SPEAKER_04]: It's totally different.

[SPEAKER_04]: Ice. [SPEAKER_04]: And then you need eight fresh spinach leaves. [SPEAKER_04]: The good stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: It's very healthy. [SPEAKER_04]: It makes the drink almost healthy. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm trying to be almost at one and two-third ounces of kashaksa. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's basically sugarcane rum. [SPEAKER_03]: It's as as opposed to it. [SPEAKER_04]: It's cassia. [SPEAKER_04]: It's good. [SPEAKER_04]: We've got a link to it. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, a quarter ounce of mezcal.

[SPEAKER_04]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_04]: A third of an ounce of ginger licuree. [SPEAKER_04]: It's really sounds good. [SPEAKER_04]: Two-thirds of an ounce of lime juice always, freshly squeezed. [SPEAKER_04]: That's the other thing I will die on that hill. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, third of an ounce of, uh, moan and almond, or yet syrup, just almond syrup, it's really yummy stuff.

[SPEAKER_04]: A quarter of an ounce of egg whites, or three toaches of fee-brothers fee-foam, I like saying, fee-brothers fee-foam cocktail. [SPEAKER_04]: Five to three, four, five, five, five, five, five. [SPEAKER_04]: So basically, egg whites, or that. [SPEAKER_03]: You're gonna need it because basically you're... [SPEAKER_03]: It's gonna froth it up for you. [SPEAKER_03]: You're creating an emulsion. [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: It's gonna, like you do when you make a meringue.

[SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: That's kind of thing. [SPEAKER_04]: That's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: So you need, and the garnish is as spinach leaf. [SPEAKER_04]: Do it. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so what you're going to do is you're going to muddle the spinach in the base of your shaker So the healthy part of the drink gets muddled kind of mashed in the bottom Yeah, you mash it like a your pharmacist making drugs. [SPEAKER_04]: Got it.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's what they do not that any of you would know anything Yeah, nobody knows anything about not in this. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, these people Oh, yes, for hello Yeah, super innocent [SPEAKER_04]: And then you had all the other ingredients with it and then you shake with the ice in the pore into your mix of glass and then you strain it back into the shaker. [SPEAKER_03]: Right, because you're taking it, you put all of these ingredients and muddled in the base of the shake.

[SPEAKER_03]: You put everything else in the shaker with the ice and then you have to pour it back into the mixing glass. [SPEAKER_03]: So then you can strain it back into the shaker. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: That way, any of the bits and stuff is not there and then you dry shake it. [SPEAKER_04]: because it's already cold, so it gets foamy. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, so it, okay, that sounds dirty. [SPEAKER_03]: That's why I said it that way. [SPEAKER_04]: Just say it.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, how you're going to shake it looks a little dirty. [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, um, sorry, children, um, children don't listen to the show. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, strain into your free chilled kukules and then you go orange with a spinach leaf and you peg it to the rim. [SPEAKER_04]: It's easy to do. [SPEAKER_04]: and enjoy. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Stay strong in the finish because you eat your spinach. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Popeye to say, let's do it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Sweetly. [SPEAKER_03]: I love that. [SPEAKER_03]: Popeye was fun. [SPEAKER_04]: It's fun. [SPEAKER_04]: And when he never paid for any hamburger. [SPEAKER_03]: He will pay you next Tuesday. [SPEAKER_03]: Next Tuesday for hamburger. [SPEAKER_03]: Of course, when it gets to next Tuesday, he's never around. [SPEAKER_04]: Pete tells and you say that. [SPEAKER_03]: He's like the inverse Jared.

[SPEAKER_04]: He is what Pete Townsend used to do when he was young and not wealthy, and destroying guitars and nightclubs, I'll pay you for this guitar on Tuesday. [SPEAKER_03]: And then he never showed up on Tuesday. [SPEAKER_04]: No, he would. [SPEAKER_04]: He probably paid everybody back eventually, but yeah, oh, oh, I just need this to die, you know. [SPEAKER_03]: That's, well, I mean, okay, I get that. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll give it to him. [SPEAKER_04]: He was 19, you know, okay.

[SPEAKER_04]: He went and paid it.

[SPEAKER_03]: for those of you missed any part of the drink of the day you know what to do head to the politics bar dot com and subscribe today uh... more information on the entertainment section uh... obviously fifth round uh... new documents show the ticket master quietly raised other fees after the fdc croc uh... crackdown on hidden charges because yeah that's just [SPEAKER_03]: They're kind of scammers kind of like it sounds like the house of cards producers themselves.

[SPEAKER_03]: They just lost the trial over Kevin Spacey's firing. [SPEAKER_03]: They lost a $29 million insurance case because they blamed the they said the reason they fired him was because he had a sex addiction problem which has been proven that he didn't have a sex addiction problem. [SPEAKER_03]: In court. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and that's how and they said no you fired him because there was too much media heat and you didn't want to defend him.

[SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, well, and because they had said that the reason they had done it was because of the sex thing and that wasn't the reason at all, the insurance company was like, uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh

[SPEAKER_03]: True, true, but, you know, she's good. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's see here in other entertainment, Miley Cyrus became Hannah Montana last night of a red carpet celebrating the 20th anniversary special of the Hannah Montana watch it. [SPEAKER_04]: I've never watched Hannah Montana, but I kind of want to watch that. [SPEAKER_03]: I've seen a few episodes and look, you know, Miley was, Miley was good. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm glad great.

[SPEAKER_03]: The choices that they made, which... Because she was originally cast. [SPEAKER_04]: She was originally cast to play the friend. [SPEAKER_03]: No, they took, they took a fire on her, but I think it was a smart idea. [SPEAKER_04]: It was smart. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, because she's, you know, she's incredibly talented. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's been proven out.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: A couple of the great talented people, Kim Raver and Kevin Kidd, longtime Grey's Anatomy actors, they are leaving to show after this season. [SPEAKER_04]: I bet they're sending him off to like war. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sure what they're doing. [SPEAKER_03]: I could see them doing that. [SPEAKER_04]: They are there in rock veterans. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And they are ER people. [SPEAKER_04]: I bet they're sending them off to war.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: They can bring him back. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think they're going to kill them. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, let's just hope because we don't want anybody else to die and not on stupid ass warner on which well, there's more to talk about with that. [SPEAKER_03]: There's more to talk about with the Republican shutdown that is still causing problems at the airports. [SPEAKER_03]: We got all that in more in the news on tap.

[SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk with you guys about it. [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, John Feeble is saying coming in in just a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: It is the top of the hour after all. [SPEAKER_03]: So. [SPEAKER_03]: You know what to do? [SPEAKER_03]: If you got to get up, you know, take a walk here down the hall, left right in center. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, we aim to please here at the politics bar. [SPEAKER_03]: You aim to please. [SPEAKER_03]: So we don't have as much to clean up later.

[SPEAKER_03]: Come back, fresh new drink. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I've drawn the Google saying next hour. [SPEAKER_09]: Hang on. [SPEAKER_06]: They're called. [SPEAKER_07]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_07]: Ready? [SPEAKER_09]: Here's a show to you, Halton. [SPEAKER_07]: Our number does do it. [SPEAKER_03]: Do it. [SPEAKER_03]: Two. [SPEAKER_03]: For those of you who are English speakers here now, thank you very much for hanging out with us here on this Thursday evening.

[SPEAKER_03]: And of course, thank you to everybody who is listening to all of our great radio affiliates. [SPEAKER_03]: Wherever in the US you might happen to be, whether you are happen to be listening on WCPTA 2020 in Chicago. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you're listening to the detour talk in Tennessee.

[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you are in Georgia somewhere around the ATL area listening on Georgia now, or maybe you are up in the city's Minneapolis Saint Paul's AM950, or maybe you are listening on progressive voices radio worldwide, somewhere else on the planet, or maybe you're on the space station. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: It's up to you. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe you happen to be on the moon pace. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, thank you.

[SPEAKER_03]: discussions about them building a moon base for real. [SPEAKER_04]: It's way late for that. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just saying we should start at that in the 80s. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just looking at his going we can't even handle the stuff we got here. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's let's let's focus on earth. [SPEAKER_03]: Kind of like the people who are like I'm going to talk all about the 2020 presidential race.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, how about you worry about the 2026 political races now? [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, if we're going to have a moon base, it should have started in the late 70s at the earliest, at the latest excuse me. [SPEAKER_03]: And the technology has adapted so much since then, I mean, well, [SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk about all of that type of stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, John Fugelsing is coming in here today.

[SPEAKER_03]: From the news on tap today, it's very clear as we talked about last hour. [SPEAKER_03]: The poll positions make it very clear that Americans want us to hell out of this war. [SPEAKER_03]: They also want this whole damn shutdown to be done. [SPEAKER_03]: Ice agents. [SPEAKER_03]: There are some of the airports. [SPEAKER_03]: They're not at all of them. [SPEAKER_03]: No, they we we said 14. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, 14 and 15 and then they're checking IDs now some of them.

[SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_04]: Like, as you walk into the airport. [SPEAKER_03]: No, like, you know, normally when you get up to the T. S. And then there's, but they're allowing them to do that because they think they can look at your license and look at your picture and I'm going, well, okay, I guess, but. [SPEAKER_03]: No, the TSA union is really pissed about that. [SPEAKER_03]: I would hope they're like first of all that they're not doing that.

[SPEAKER_03]: All they're doing is standing around, not doing nothing. [SPEAKER_03]: They're doing candy crush on their phones. [SPEAKER_03]: They're doing what I have called many times over the years. [SPEAKER_03]: Executive management training. [SPEAKER_03]: That's where you stand around with your head up your ass and you don't actually do anything.

[SPEAKER_03]: notice no buzzers or bells on that one just just a straight fact that's that's executive management training so if you ever see anybody anywhere you're your job and somebody else is standing there doing absolutely nothing and they should be working you can just say to them oh I see your executive management training is going well and if they look at you just let a wonder let a wonder you know who I would you you guys who are here at the bar you guys know but they clearly don't obviously so yeah they've had

[SPEAKER_03]: Look, the longer-pert lines are something that's easy to see on the TV. [SPEAKER_03]: Remember what I said, fire sign journalism? [SPEAKER_03]: When I've talked about that before and how TV stations they like to show you the pictures. [SPEAKER_03]: And everybody can see the lines and they can go, oh, this is crap. [SPEAKER_03]: And of course, they probably know somebody or they know somebody who know somebody who had deal with that garbage.

[SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, damn man, that's I get that. [SPEAKER_03]: It's it's easy to see a little bit harder for them to in a quick image, show world cup security or cyber safety or disaster relief or Coast Guard operations, but all of those are still at risk because all of those are [SPEAKER_03]: Democrats. [SPEAKER_03]: FEMA. [SPEAKER_04]: Hi, Hawaii needs some help. [SPEAKER_03]: Got the flooding out there. [SPEAKER_04]: We need to ask any some help because it's been on fire.

[SPEAKER_03]: Nebraska, the Huskers are on fire. [SPEAKER_04]: No, actually, the state is on fire. [SPEAKER_04]: So there's that. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, yeah, okay. [SPEAKER_03]: There is that. [SPEAKER_03]: Although I'm hoping here that the game should be or maybe depending on when you're listening to it already has, but I'm hoping Huskers are on fire and roasting the. [SPEAKER_03]: And a good way.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, God. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I just want them to roast the Hawkeye's tonight. [SPEAKER_03]: Have some bird wings later. [SPEAKER_03]: And then of course, you know, if the Hawkeye's somehow pull it out and win, and if we're lucky to get Zach walls on here, it's going to be a fight. [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, you know who you know, no, no, no, that's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: Because I have plenty of friends at Iowa.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know who just came out and endorsed Zach Walls? [SPEAKER_04]: Dr. [SPEAKER_04]: Professor Warren, Senator Professor Dr. Warren? [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: Yep, she just endorsed him. [SPEAKER_03]: So that's good. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, she mostly has good judgment. [SPEAKER_03]: That's a good judgment. [SPEAKER_03]: The other one we won't talk about. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we talked about it yesterday, and it's, I think it's his policies, and I'm just going to go with that.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just kind of going to be like, well, all that I can say is since the DNC is going to have very limited resources, financially speaking, they should put those resources to people that all of us agree are decent candidates, like Zach Walls, yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: There you go. [SPEAKER_03]: Other news that's in the news on tap, Trumponomics is still failing.

[SPEAKER_03]: The new OECD forecast is Trump's warm Iran will likely push U.S. inflation above 4% [SPEAKER_03]: And because of the fact that we keep borrowing and spending over a billion dollars a day on this dumbass war, America's credit rating is also at risk, both of those stories in the news on that process. [SPEAKER_04]: Did you tell Great Us last time, too? [SPEAKER_03]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Last time we went on one of these, uh, where do you call them excursions?

[SPEAKER_05]: Misadventures. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, believe that our credit took a hit last time on that as well. [SPEAKER_03]: And the Postal Service is imposing its first ever fuel surcharge on packages due to the increase fuel costs tied to Trump's war. [SPEAKER_03]: Of course, if they hadn't gotten rid of all the electric vehicles that were supposed to be replacing things in the past, they wouldn't have to do that.

[SPEAKER_03]: So higher postal costs brought to you by Donald Trump and Republicans. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: You should, you know, make a note of that, please, especially when you go to the polls, just saying. [SPEAKER_03]: Speaking of which, by the way, in the election land section today, the wing nuts are gathering down in Texas for the 2026 CPAC. [SPEAKER_03]: Here's a hint. [SPEAKER_03]: Donald Trump, nor J.D. [SPEAKER_03]: Vance.

[SPEAKER_03]: Neither one of them are scheduled to be there for the first time in a decade. [SPEAKER_04]: That seems weird to me. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, and no, is it because they're not, is it because of the war or absentee? [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure that's part of it. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, it's in Texas. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not in DC or somewhere close, so they can't just, it's not in Florida, so we can't, you know, say that he's going to, going to a political event and then sleep in his own bed.

[SPEAKER_03]: So I get that. [SPEAKER_04]: But JD. [SPEAKER_03]: Him neither. [SPEAKER_03]: And they're not scared. [SPEAKER_04]: They're in the Kirk going to talk because then JD might show up. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but you wouldn't see them. [SPEAKER_03]: They'd go find a couch somewhere. [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't say that people actually. [SPEAKER_04]: Cardinal letters to Sean at iLivanculture.com.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just saying I will admit I was wrong on that because if Erica Kirk were there, J.D. [SPEAKER_03]: wouldn't need the couch. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: So anyway. [SPEAKER_03]: But no, the reason I think that Donald and J.D. [SPEAKER_03]: are not doing this is because they're splitting off somewhat from the party. [SPEAKER_03]: They're at least Donald is making it clear. [SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't give a damn what anybody says so.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know, and as we mentioned in the Fox poll earlier, he's at a record disapproval 60% basically disapproving of him, you know, care. [SPEAKER_03]: because he doesn't technically have to care. [SPEAKER_03]: I like we mentioned the other day when Barack Obama said, you know, I've won all the elections. [SPEAKER_03]: Barack Obama still cared what you thought. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Donald doesn't care what anybody thinks other than Donald.

[SPEAKER_03]: But our friend Nate Blueen, he cares what you think. [SPEAKER_03]: And he and his pals over there did a good job. [SPEAKER_03]: We'll applause to them. [SPEAKER_03]: The Utah Republican petition to repeal the redistricting law has failed. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so hopefully you're going to have Nate blue and maybe end up being your member of the house I hope so he was amazing and actually I've seen him on I think Rachel and I've seen him on I think with Chris Hayes He's great.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm I'm glad that they are borrowing our guests. [SPEAKER_04]: That's that's nice any time kids any time [SPEAKER_03]: I saw a clip actually of Ezra Levin after he was here. [SPEAKER_03]: The interview had to go to, he had to pre-record it with Chris Hayes last night for all in. [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, maybe it was live. [SPEAKER_03]: I can't remember. [SPEAKER_04]: It was probably live. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, come to think of it. [SPEAKER_03]: I think it was live.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was live. [SPEAKER_04]: I think the time of day. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think it was live. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, no, you're right. [SPEAKER_03]: You're right, cause I had to think I was, yes, but anyway, that Sheriff in California, the Republican California, that's one, yes, that one, the guy who sees the ballots, he's a real winner online, he's saying that some people should never be allowed to vote. [SPEAKER_03]: Which look, I'm willing to agree with him on that.

[SPEAKER_03]: I just think we have a whole different group of people that we don't think should be allowed to vote. [SPEAKER_03]: Didn't mean to make you do a spit take. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry, but so everybody should vote if they're 18 years old. [SPEAKER_04]: and a U.S. citizen. [SPEAKER_03]: Optimally, I would prefer it that everybody would be able vote if they were properly informed and educated. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Do that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I, there's, there's, there's no, there's no easy way to do. [SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of like the whole thing of people saying it would be great if we had a license for parents. [SPEAKER_03]: And I agree, it would be fantastic if there was some way to license being a parent. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I mean, when you try to adopt, there's a whole mission us, but when you actually have it on your own, not so much, and we are not taught in school at all.

[SPEAKER_03]: Many, most schools, how to be a parent in school. [SPEAKER_04]: How do you, like, even just hold a baby? [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, there are some classes, but not in most schools. [SPEAKER_03]: No, it's just, it's just not. [SPEAKER_03]: Here's the thing, is that, um, [SPEAKER_03]: there's the people that I used to know back in the day who if you would ask me if I would have thought they would be good parents absolutely would never have been good parents.

[SPEAKER_03]: They would have been awful and as teenagers and early 20s they were awful people. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I don't mean like horrible, but they were just they were not responsible people. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, and yet when they got older and they got to be parents, they got to be great people. [SPEAKER_03]: Speaking of one of those great people, [SPEAKER_03]: John Fugelsign just came into the barn. [SPEAKER_01]: I just caught the end of that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Who got to be a great person once they became a parent? [SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm rooting for Corey Feldman and Bill Marb, but who are you talking about? [SPEAKER_03]: So we're talking about, okay, that it started with this Republican sheriff out in California, which I believe you're in the California end of the barn. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I can tell. [SPEAKER_03]: But, um, so this, this idiot, the guy who seized balance from a special election. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yes.

[SPEAKER_03]: he's now been caught online saying some people should never be allowed to vote and i was saying to jodie uh... you know while we do he's a victim of the woke mob you're saying he's a victim of the woke mob and his cabinet position is in the mail and there you go exactly john's right absolutely so i said i said it's it's like it's like the people who say there should be a a a license to be apparent and i knew some people back in the day who were extremely irresponsible

[SPEAKER_03]: They, if you would have asked me in our, you know, late teens and early 20s, if they would have made good parents, I would have looked at you like you had three heads. [SPEAKER_03]: I would have been like, are you kidding me? [SPEAKER_03]: That person, I wouldn't trust them with a cheeseburger. [SPEAKER_03]: That's my, my tribe you're talking about, but then.

[SPEAKER_03]: They got older, they got wiser, and I ran into some of them, and they've ended up being better parents than some of the people who were supposedly normally adjusted. [SPEAKER_03]: And would have been great parents, and you're like, oh, wow, they did a great job. [SPEAKER_04]: So we're FWR, probably the better parent, when you're younger, the better parent, you might be when you're older. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a better parent.

[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I know I'm with you on that John, but I get what you're saying. [SPEAKER_01]: You'd think that you would have more empathy towards a child and maybe even for many that's true But you know, men are these remarkable animals that around age 12 start getting raised by the pack instead of their parents

[SPEAKER_03]: a lot of billionaires are making a lot of money turning dudes into douche bags and never have any income out there there's starting to get some accountability we can talk about that because we have those stories in the news on tap yesterday and I want to see the manosphere I am desperately know you you know you can't handle the manosphere Jody you can't handle that just a little lady girl I think actually they can't handle her John they can't handle her you're kidding they can't they can't they can't handle strong women that's why they do their little

[SPEAKER_01]: on manly little cosplay for each other. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_03]: I agree to 100%. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not just girls who get dressed up for each other, believe me. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, look, you're, you know, two bells, and he hasn't even been in the bar three minutes. [SPEAKER_03]: Josh, you were saying is here on a Thursday night. [SPEAKER_03]: Fresh in your drink, do what you can, remember.

[SPEAKER_03]: If you, you're like, hey, you guys are cool, but I want to better shirt. [SPEAKER_03]: Go check out the store at the politicsbar.com. [SPEAKER_03]: Back in a minute, with John Fucle saying, here at the politicsbar. [SPEAKER_06]: We'll be right back after we pay some bills at the politics bar. [SPEAKER_03]: It is Thursday night and around here, you guys know what that means? [SPEAKER_03]: The one the only! [SPEAKER_03]: John Fibelsang. [SPEAKER_03]: He is back at Indibar.

[SPEAKER_03]: The host. [SPEAKER_01]: Get down. [SPEAKER_01]: You sit down. [SPEAKER_01]: You slugs. [SPEAKER_01]: Sit down. [SPEAKER_03]: And of course the author's separation of church and hate. [SPEAKER_03]: The award-winning and best-selling book. [SPEAKER_03]: If you still haven't got your coffee seriously, man, what's going on today? [SPEAKER_03]: He's like halfway through his next book. [SPEAKER_03]: Get this one before you've done with that one.

[SPEAKER_01]: I wish I was halfway through. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm lying to my agents, and I'm halfway through it, but thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: Load up your car with six dollars a gallon gas and go to a bookstore to buy my book Please don't worry actually they can download the audiobook any time they can download the the non-fiction audio book of the year at the audio Words don't you? [SPEAKER_03]: I saw you post up the little awards from that. [SPEAKER_03]: I was like.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, yeah, that's a heavy award That's a blunt object to fight off attackers came in handy [SPEAKER_03]: Or maybe it could be something to, you know, use in war or maybe fight off the lines at the airport. [SPEAKER_04]: It's as poke as an M.A. [SPEAKER_04]: though.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this is, no, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not, it's not,

[SPEAKER_01]: Which I'm laying it's not usually but okay, but that's the American way we pay restaurant workers because they're not paid a living wage So we were American consumers used to picking up the slack financially for employers all over the place You're right, you're right and of course we pick up the slack, you know with the the McDonald's and Walmart and target workers Yeah, it's an app benefits of course, and so that's why it was exciting to hear that this week on the latest episode of America What could possibly go wrong?

[SPEAKER_01]: that that that uh man baby is is got a bold new airport security plan so so it helped me out because I I was flew a flying back and forth to York to Arizona last week and then I flew to Los Angeles a couple days ago and it's just one big old refugee camp out there um these TSA agents haven't been paid in weeks for one day's right be right because uh the republican party doesn't want ice to have to get a warrant before it drags a woman out of her house or her car

[SPEAKER_01]: and the republican party doesn't think that ice agents should have to show their faces and have accountability and they also don't think they should have to wear body cams to document any human rights abuses and because of this because the party of law and order once order for them and laws for the rest of us right now our reports have got the situation so instead of fixing it

[SPEAKER_01]: Instead of paying the people, trains to keep our planes safe, they are going to send in ice agents. [SPEAKER_01]: So you'll have trains, TSA agents not being paid, working alongside untrained ice agents who are being paid. [SPEAKER_01]: It's so much better than actually fixing the system. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_01]: Like fixing the system is woke. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's bring a whole different agency in.

[SPEAKER_01]: And let's just shake up this snow globe that America is. [SPEAKER_01]: And somehow it'll turn out great.

[SPEAKER_01]: And what they're doing here, [SPEAKER_01]: is deliberately making the security line chaos at the airports longer because just as Trump blackmailed Zelensky to cheat in an election he is doing this to cheat in the midterms because he's holding it hostage until they pass the save act which which used to be what black folks and poor people had to worry about that you wouldn't be able to vote without paying a poll

[SPEAKER_01]: ice in the airports it's like your hospital saying well the surgeons are on strike but we have some really enthusiastic parking lot attended downstairs who are ready to step on and chaos is the product is not by accident chaos is the strategy you're correct this is the environment where power grabs

[SPEAKER_01]: start to feel normal and you got Steve bad in blurting it out on his show like he's the villain on scooby do You know, it's a test run for elections, and that's the whole plan It's it's a show when your boarding pass leads to show me your papers and they're gonna normalize this So they can put them at polling places in the middle [SPEAKER_03]: They want to try to.

[SPEAKER_03]: I keep reminding people of things like first of all, like the elections on Tuesday and floor to the special elections where the Democrats absolutely came out. [SPEAKER_03]: I keep reminding people of the fact that Donald Trump in a Fox poll has a 60% disapproval rate. [SPEAKER_03]: So there's these things. [SPEAKER_01]: But he does have a Democrat representing him in the Florida State Senate. [SPEAKER_01]: He does now. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a beautiful.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh. [SPEAKER_03]: So, but here's the thing. [SPEAKER_03]: People, regardless, even Maga people, pride themselves on running their elections really tight by the local election rules, by the local election rules. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you sure about that? [SPEAKER_01]: I think states are right to only when they want to do racist stuff. [SPEAKER_01]: But I'll go along with people.

[SPEAKER_04]: And also, you know, controlling a ladies [SPEAKER_01]: I know Donald Trump really respected the sanctity of the Georgia elections in 2020. [SPEAKER_01]: I know that. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, he didn't. [SPEAKER_03]: But I'm not talking about what he did. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm talking about as the people who are at the actual polls, the actual local poll workers, they all take pride in what they do in the thousands of elections that we have across the country.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, that's one of the things that people forget that protects us. [SPEAKER_03]: Another thing is the fact that if Donald Trump says I'm going to send the federal forces with guns because it's illegal, well, there are governors and there are governors in states like Utah, Trump and his DOJ are saying, well, we want your, your voter list and the folks in Utah, bright red state are saying, pound sand Donald.

[SPEAKER_03]: And if he sends the feds in to their polling places, they'll send their state national garden their militia, also armed and say, you want it, come and get it, boy. [SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's, I think I'm not so sure that certain states are going to stand up to Trump's coup in squad, that forcefully. [SPEAKER_03]: But I do think, I do think to their, you know, for Steve Bannon, who is not nearly as tied in as he likes to claim.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think he is trying to make people afraid. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought you were going to say not nearly as tidy as he liked to claim. [SPEAKER_01]: I was going to defend his hygiene to you. [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's very tidy. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why he wears all the black shirts When he vomits the eggurizer, he can take off the top shirt and he still dressed for the podcast The dance of fish and folks. [SPEAKER_01]: I did mean the digress Shawn go on

[SPEAKER_03]: I think he is not as cutie-in as he used to be and I think he's doing this to try to say oh, yeah and try to scare people and I think we should absolutely scare him back and say like look these are laws and these are states even red states that will say you want it bring it boy So you want to go there and a lot of people go I don't want to go there because I don't want guns in the streets I don't want war here and I don't want war there and I don't want to be sending people to war

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm crazy Nancy Mace, who's off her walker, who has managed to help. [SPEAKER_03]: She's helped. [SPEAKER_03]: She's helped. [SPEAKER_02]: She's helped. [SPEAKER_03]: She's helped. [SPEAKER_03]: She's helped. [SPEAKER_03]: She's helped. [SPEAKER_03]: She's helped. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to give another dime. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not sending any. [SPEAKER_03]: I might now. [SPEAKER_03]: The fact that Mace is also running for this. [SPEAKER_00]: That's that now.

[SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: But I'm going the fact is. [SPEAKER_03]: people don't want this stupid ass war, they don't want to war here and they don't want to war there. [SPEAKER_03]: We can do this better by God's sake. [SPEAKER_03]: This is America. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, we're smarter than this. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I never thought we'd be dumb enough. [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're not Sean, but I think some of us George W Bush, we pretty much know that.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I think you know, like I never thought we'd be in a war with Iran, but I really never thought that the Iatola's would be giving more accurate press briefing. [SPEAKER_01]: No kidding. [SPEAKER_01]: Because like, [SPEAKER_01]: So, according to Trump and Secretary of Yagermeister, the war is one, right? [SPEAKER_01]: It's finished. [SPEAKER_01]: It's mission accomplished, two, golf cart, boogaloo, they got it, and they're sending more troops.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we've destroyed Iran, and we really wish our NATO allies would help, and 2000 power troopers are going in, and there's peace talks happening, and Iran is mocking this guy online. [SPEAKER_01]: Iran's like, [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Iran literally, they came out and said they came out, first they called him a pedophile, then they called him out and said that his fake news being used to manipulate oil markets.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mike, the eye at tollers are like an SEC whistleblower at this point. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's more that I'm getting from cable news. [SPEAKER_01]: At the war is one, why do you need more soldiers? [SPEAKER_01]: If you need more soldiers, what exactly did you win? [SPEAKER_01]: They're kind of fascinating to you. [SPEAKER_01]: They're saying it out loud. [SPEAKER_01]: We didn't think this through. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh-huh. [SPEAKER_03]: No, you're 100% correct.

[SPEAKER_03]: And the fact that they literally use some of the words you were just saying to say that Donald Trump, I mean, they're, you got to be sitting there going, oh my god, they win it like, you know, Google Transmit Professional Translate and literally were like, okay, what is Bro's Translates and and you're like, are you kidding me? [SPEAKER_02]: And they're like, no, that's how easy it is for them to dunk on him. [SPEAKER_04]: But we long guys, Mike Johnson just gave Donald an award.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yes, that's a beautiful, beautiful golden award as the first America first president. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's it's the America first award and it's supposed to be given every year. [SPEAKER_01]: That that's all of us that'll look great next to a thief of peace prize. [SPEAKER_04]: I know, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, my favorite headline of the whole week. [SPEAKER_01]: more than the insider trading, which is crazy.

[SPEAKER_01]: What they're doing right now, I'm gonna wrap telling this giant glowing neon Vegas billboard of Korra. [SPEAKER_01]: 580 million in oil futures 16 minutes before the fake truth social post about P stocks. [SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna have billion.

[SPEAKER_01]: and SNP futures five minutes before the same post they are pre-loading the slot machine there are because they build the casino you know people can't afford groceries but somewhere some guy made hundreds of millions on a Monday morning because he knew what the president was going to post in five minutes it's a good thing they've defunded the people who investigate this stuff because otherwise there might be a scandal might my favorite going go ahead no it's the first time that the

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh Don't worry, Jody. [SPEAKER_01]: This one's gonna go bankrupt too, trust me, but and be I'm ready here in this love it NBC says that he's not getting the full intelligence briefings. [SPEAKER_01]: They are showing him two-minute Highland. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we talked about that explosions. [SPEAKER_01]: This is how the president is assuming war. [SPEAKER_01]: He's microdosing tick-tock videos He's the most Instagram president exactly.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah [SPEAKER_01]: Here you go, sir, some real cool stuff blowing up. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of winning. [SPEAKER_01]: You'll really like it, it's short, too. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the Commander in Chief is being handled like a kid with an iPad and a chain restaurant. [SPEAKER_01]: Right now, that's where we're at. [SPEAKER_04]: At Chuck and Cheese. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly.

[SPEAKER_03]: And Kegbreath, I was mentioned this last hour, John, that a couple of people that I know who are at the five-sided building down town, they put up with a lot of crap, depending on who's in charge, including Trump's first round.

[SPEAKER_03]: who's more embarrassed those guys are the FBI guys working under the other flunky who's more embarrassed his manhood is more in check the thing that the thing that is driving some of them to the edge to finally be like I'm done i'm out i've got i've got my retirement i can go is kegbreath

[SPEAKER_03]: putting his little church service, which isn't a church service, the mini Trump rally in the Pentagon, and they're going, you're defiling God, you're defiling the Pentagon, you're defiling the service members. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you're defiling Jesus. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, let's just... [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, let's just... Pray, pray for us while we kill people who have an attack to us. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you hear things. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the entire thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this crusader cosplay that they do, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this,

[SPEAKER_01]: they literally look like money python in the holy grail before the rabbit attack them all. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, it's stupid, but that's that's their level of intellect. [SPEAKER_03]: That's what's pissing off the the the long time workers at the Pentagon is because they're like you have no idea of the real costs of war dollars. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I predict the FBI guys are a little more embarrassed than the Pentagon.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: J. Edgar Hoover in hell wearing a dress is weeping over what's happened with that. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, in the fact that Jack Smith was spot on with the documents down at Mara Logo and being like, yeah, he's got him because he's going to try to sell him.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then I would, I would love, I don't want everybody to know it would be one of those things that at some point in history and future history, I would like to know which of them accidentally let that out because you got to remember that information that Eileen Cannon said don't let it out. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so it's she said if you let it out of the crime and they're going well, we'll just slide this in with the other pile of stuff We're oh, it's in the abstine files.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's what it is. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we'll slide it across the table and of course Jamie Raskin goes What's this what's this what? [SPEAKER_04]: I mean can I have a chat [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because she really cares a lot about the rule of law. [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm glad she's on that. [SPEAKER_01]: Happy, happy 98 days since they've been breaking the law on the Epstein files by the way. [SPEAKER_01]: OK, I'm just exchanging gifts privately at home tonight.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's what I do. [SPEAKER_01]: I call it the pressure to party on the anniversary, but yet 98 days of Trump and Pam Boundy breaking the law every single day to protect child rape. [SPEAKER_04]: And I call him the Trumpstein files. [SPEAKER_04]: That's just, yeah, right, it's not that. [SPEAKER_03]: And well, here's the thing and then of course the video is being released earlier this week and the fact that the the lawyer in the account said, yeah, oh, no back in 2008.

[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody ever asked us and oh, and in 2019 Donald's first term yet nobody came and asked us about that either and by the way, Obama was running for president in 2008 so anybody saying it's 2008 so it was under Bush and 2019 is under Donald. [SPEAKER_03]: Right, yeah, of course also if I remember right to us, and it wasn't Pam Bondi the attorney general. [SPEAKER_03]: She was. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It's sweet heart deal.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm really hoping that I know that they have subpoenaed Pam to come before the oversight committee.

[SPEAKER_03]: And they're saying they want they don't want the members to ask they have like six lawyers ready to ask her questions in a closed-door session and she's still a little bit non-committal I You should expect a lot of that until January 1st of next year exactly and then it'll be just denials and I'm not going Yeah, and we'll get back to you just I don't believe it's a penis anymore right exactly [SPEAKER_01]: strong 22 Vibes kids.

[SPEAKER_03]: Only this time, we got to make sure that we actually hold them accountable. [SPEAKER_03]: It's got to there's got to be accountability coming. [SPEAKER_01]: America's never done it Sean didn't do it for the Confederates didn't do it. [SPEAKER_01]: We're doing it. [SPEAKER_01]: They're doing for Nixon. [SPEAKER_03]: They're trying to hold the tech companies accountable. [SPEAKER_04]: And Prince Pritzker is said we're going to do it. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we've got to talk.

[SPEAKER_03]: Can we talk about the tech companies in the accountability on the other side? [SPEAKER_03]: Thank God for that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to talk about what Minnesota's doing because they're not waiting to hold these guys accountable. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah, we'll talk about both of those accountability. [SPEAKER_03]: One of our favorite subjects here at the politics bar, fresh in your drink and come right back.

[SPEAKER_03]: You got John Fuelsang and Jodie and me and you. [SPEAKER_03]: So hang on. [SPEAKER_09]: We'll be right back after we pay some bills at the politics bar.

[SPEAKER_03]: last call on a Thursday evening, you'll let know of the fun stuff that we talk about when we are not on the microphone, but one of these days, Sean, it's going to be a page we have a fun time here no matter what and look, we understand you guys are listening to us as you're doing things you're driving maybe you're making tenor or you know, just put the kids to bed or maybe they haven't gone to bed and that's why you missed some of the show.

[SPEAKER_03]: We understand that's why you should, you know, you're listening on the radio, but you [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, politics bar, not you wrong with you people What are you supposed to come on six dollars a month you get the podcast ad free you get the drink of the day with the recipe And you get the news on tap you guys know what to do go subscribe to politics bar dot com

[SPEAKER_03]: job people saying hanging out with us, so we weren't talking about, you know, after I got on the bar last night, obviously I turned over to Series XM at one point, and I was, you know, listening to you and Chris talk about Chicago pizza. [SPEAKER_01]: Why? [SPEAKER_01]: We covered the major issues on our show. [SPEAKER_03]: That's been very important. [SPEAKER_03]: It is. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_03]: The people who say, and look, the folks who are listening right to us right now on WCPT, y'all know. [SPEAKER_03]: My wife, she's from Chicago, where he basically, and, um, [SPEAKER_03]: She gets you want to know what easy way to miss her off is is talk about Chicago pizza and mean deep ditch and she's like No, no, it's not deep-dish Cracker crust cracker crusty Chicago They're both they're both come on now They're both come on officially others. [SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's it's like that's not true man I'm talking to our donos and genos eased a little notties on the finest pizza establish in Chicago Offer you thin crust and thick rust both of them depending on how much you don't want your colon to work tomorrow [SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of like, okay, for the University of Nebraska, technically there are two mascots.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's Herbie Husker, who is everybody knows, is the, are you dragging the end to another fight about the University of Nebraska mascots, Sean, because we've had this fight so many times like yourself. [SPEAKER_03]: Herbie Husker, who's wearing the overalls with the cowboy hat, you know, that's the main one. [SPEAKER_03]: And then they have little red, who's the inflatable one. [SPEAKER_03]: And I get that and whatever that's fine for the kids.

[SPEAKER_03]: But one of these seems to be a little bit more of, you know, and I'm just saying crack or crust, I think is a little bit better. [SPEAKER_03]: That's just, that's, that's worth it. [SPEAKER_01]: So you know what, dig up Jimmy Carter and get him to negotiate peace talks about the pal. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, see how far you get. [SPEAKER_01]: See how far you get. [SPEAKER_01]: The all Chicago, look, I'm a, I'm a New York pizza snob. [SPEAKER_01]: Me too.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then in the 90s, I went to Chicago for the first time. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was humbled, humbled in ways Republican men don't understand. [SPEAKER_01]: And since then, I've always been willing. [SPEAKER_01]: I've always been able to say what I'm wrong about something. [SPEAKER_01]: And Chicago pizza taught me to have the man who to say damn I'm wrong about something. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, as Francis Calier, she's a Chicago native. [SPEAKER_01]: There you go. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_04]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_04]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_04]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything.

[SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything.

[SPEAKER_01]: I asked her everything. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, look, look, look, the two trials that this week, the New Mexico one, which is, I think, it was at 375 million, and then the E.L.A. [SPEAKER_03]: one, which is exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: It's just money and it's couch. [SPEAKER_03]: It is. [SPEAKER_03]: So it's not necessarily about the money.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's the fact that these two rulings have said that they're liable because they knew that they were making these products addictive and addictive for children and new that they did. [SPEAKER_03]: violent horrible things to their minds really to all of us, and they're like, oh, ah, to me, it is much like when the tobacco companies started getting rulings against them. [SPEAKER_03]: And they were all crap.

[SPEAKER_03]: Every single one of these is going to use the same argument, which we have nothing for, because they're using our own documents against us, we're going to be so square. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, the thing that I learned watching a documentary about social media years ago was that anybody that runs a social media company does not allow their children to be on their platform. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[SPEAKER_03]: And most of them don't use social media the way that they want their users to. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: And they will continue to say they don't allow children on their platform. [SPEAKER_01]: They're children. [SPEAKER_01]: They're children. [SPEAKER_04]: Your children can be on all you want. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: They can be on its their kids.

[SPEAKER_04]: They don't allow their children to have, I think, Tim Cook said I don't have my, my kid doesn't have an iPhone because I know what's going to do to them. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a typical Republican argument. [SPEAKER_03]: I've got mine, FU. [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, I'm okay, but this thing is awful, and it will poison your mind. [SPEAKER_03]: Here have some. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I mean it they're they're fine that met a spreads lies.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they're fine that Meta takes money from Nazis to spread lies, but but they they're fine that that right now they're spending 65 million to buy candidates who support pro AI growth and more importantly pro AI deregulation. [SPEAKER_01]: They're fine with all of that, but they they don't like that that they designed apps [SPEAKER_01]: that were designed to get kids addicted. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's, that's a start.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think, you know, the jury found that they were liable for creating addictive design features that led to mental health distress. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's true of all of us, but you can't go after it for all of us. [SPEAKER_01]: You can for the kids. [SPEAKER_01]: And it helps that Mark Zuckerberg is one of the least likable people in America, which in tech is saying quite a bit at this point. [SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't mean.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, considering Elon Musk is standing right next to him. [SPEAKER_04]: Right, and but everybody, every time Stephanie goes, does your phone go off, I said no, because I don't have those notifications on my phone, because I learned not to do that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, why would I want that? [SPEAKER_04]: I wouldn't want that. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Trump said something stupid. [SPEAKER_01]: I must know immediately what it was.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, you can notify me when he says something smart. [SPEAKER_02]: When I wake up in the morning, I will be notified. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm fine. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know, that's the thing. [SPEAKER_01]: I try to do this crazy thing where I pick three things every day.

[SPEAKER_01]: that I'm allowed about about Trump or the politics that I'm going to allow to upset me three things every day that I'm allowed to be upset about so like Donald Trump gets up and insults Robert Mueller the way he did the writers sorry not one of my three things I'm not allowed to get angry about that not going to get any fights about that on social media about the worst person in the world said something horrible stop the presses

[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, and if anything, it allowed for a nice dialogue about Robert Mueller and what I was really hoping would happen because Trump didn't hate Mueller because he was corrupt, he hated Mueller because Mueller's everything Trump isn't, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Mueller served in the military, he spent decades in public service respected by both parties, followed the law, stayed with his first wife to Trump, that's witchcraft.

[SPEAKER_01]: But like Robert Mueller nailed him to the wall and then the Democrats didn't make him stay on it. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're just have an indictments. [SPEAKER_01]: All these convictions. [SPEAKER_01]: Seven guilty, please. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not a hoax man. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a law and order. [SPEAKER_01]: You did it. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: And and 10 counts of obstruction of justice.

[SPEAKER_01]: 10 counts that about then part two of the balleraport what one more and he gets a free felony. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a punch card And you'll notice it's still all that stuff is still sitting out there So for those people who say for those people who say well Donald Trump will outlive this term I'm like he probably doesn't want to [SPEAKER_03]: Well, that is waiting for him at the end of the road. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a whole other story.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, I want to just blame the Democrats for a second on this because Jody, I mean, you know, it like Trump never denied any of the things he did that he tried to fire Mueller and then told Don McGan the White House Council to lie that he told him to fire Mueller. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, like they did it. [SPEAKER_01]: They did it and the bipartisan Senate committee said it led by Republicans.

[SPEAKER_01]: Marko Rubeo it's like your whole family and your doctor and your dog all the green that you've got rabies and you're like fake news I feel great and like mullering at the mouth [SPEAKER_01]: Muller handled it so carefully, and I would say a little too carefully. [SPEAKER_01]: I agree.

[SPEAKER_01]: So committed to the rule of Almighty Law that he handled Donald Trump like a delicate artifact, and we know that he committed to these 10, my opinion, Donald Trump owes Robert Muller, because if Robert Muller had been a little less restrained, and if Democrats had been a little less cowardly, Donald Trump's first term could have ended in a court room.

[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, he still he still deserves accountability, but it's it's just it's nice to see that there are some Democrats who are they are pushing forward on a lot of this this accountability that actions. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, exactly and up in Minnesota. [SPEAKER_01]: Minnesota, man. [SPEAKER_03]: They're doing a thousand. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you believe a Keith Ellison and Mary Moriarty. [SPEAKER_01]: They are that a minute.

[SPEAKER_01]: The magical state of Minnesota gave us Bob Dylan gave us Prince gave us Michelle Bachman. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, okay, forget that lot, but gave us Bob Dylan in France and like Minnesota is done saying and you betcha and now they're saying we'll see you fascist rap bastards in court. [SPEAKER_01]: They they they're doing it over and but it's over the evidence. [SPEAKER_01]: In January, you know, we've had three shootings of Americans in 17 days.

[SPEAKER_01]: Alex Freddy, I'm Renee Good, we all know. [SPEAKER_01]: And Julio says our Socialist who was shot by an ice shot at his cousin entering his house in the military and him in a leg. [SPEAKER_01]: And every time the fans told me, yeah, every time the fans told me, oh yeah, we'll cooperate. [SPEAKER_01]: And then they disappear like Melania Trump after breeding duty.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Minnesota has been so polite, they followed the law, they said, hey, we have to investigate crimes and Casper tell the his FBI They're like a sophomore in the dorm room when they are raised knocking on the door about that weed smell You can't come in nothing to see here, man. [SPEAKER_01]: No, don't do and so so remember [SPEAKER_01]: Renee Goods-Car that she was murdered in.

[SPEAKER_01]: The one they let her die and bleeding out while they were medical people on site offering help And I said no DHS said no right that's been shrink wrapped for for months now It's in a it's a weak no one's examined it and then remember right after Alex pretty was murdered Trump goes on truth social to post a photo not to call for call or say let's have an investigation But to post a photo of what he said was Alex pretty's gun

[SPEAKER_01]: which they removed from him before they murdered him and it was like in the front seat of this vehicle around charging cords like I mean I guess I need to watch more law and order but I don't think that's proper evidence him. [SPEAKER_01]: No it is not.

[SPEAKER_01]: So like now Hennepin County attorney Mary Moriarty and Keith Ellison who I love they have a whole breakdown on how the feds kept promising to help and then lying our entire DOJ policy is shoot citizens hide the evidence protect the murderers and tell the local cops to go [SPEAKER_01]: And again, it's on the record now and there's going to be more of this more states have to sue this DOJ. [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.

[SPEAKER_01]: Them on the defensive for the rest of their lives, and I don't want any Democrat. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to see what we've seen our whole lives where Democrat promises accountability. [SPEAKER_01]: Guess elected and says, you know what? [SPEAKER_01]: Instead of reform, let's do modest improvements. [SPEAKER_01]: They let the Confederates get away with it. [SPEAKER_01]: I agree. [SPEAKER_01]: Nixon get away with it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Pelosi and Schubert day one in 2006 said oh in peace with for the Iraq war is off the table They keep letting him get away. [SPEAKER_01]: I agree by God Merrick Garland made Donald Trump a Sunday and gave him a foot massage like The Democrats who are gonna raise the money are gonna have to promise that they will Change things and have accountability.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think I [SPEAKER_01]: If only the Star Wars prequels had waited a little longer, we would have known what the real story was. [SPEAKER_01]: And the real story was, if you don't completely snuff out the empire, it will come back as the first order. [SPEAKER_01]: If only they'd known that was the message of those films, they might have had a script for the third one.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's the whole thing is that I, you know, we've been saying here at the bar for what almost a year now. [SPEAKER_03]: It needs to be the focus for every Democrat who wants to get elected needs to be affordability and accountability. [SPEAKER_03]: And accountability is it's it's not just holding them accountable for crimes that they'll do in the future. [SPEAKER_03]: There are all kinds of people who've done crimes in the statute of limitations are not running out.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I really want to see Jack Smith and Fani Willis have a really nice second half of this decade. [SPEAKER_01]: I do too. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't wait. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That would be fan day. [SPEAKER_04]: And let's just say James as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Because Bill Paltese is going after her again. [SPEAKER_04]: What kind of a Jack has Paltese such a, and we've got that stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: They all think Donald Trump's going to live forever and protect that his loyal obedient henchman forever. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: You're going to live forever. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: But that's the thing. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why everyone's got to stay really healthy folks. [SPEAKER_01]: Take care of yourself because when Donald, everyone in your beautiful audience has to be alive for Donald Trump's funeral. [SPEAKER_01]: We are.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not just because it's going to be fun, not just because you know Melania's bringing a date, not just us here, Frank Stallone's saying over this gold casket that looks like Liberace's piano. [SPEAKER_01]: But because once Trump, once the Lord has had Trump's arteries do with the Lord once his arteries to do, [SPEAKER_01]: All these NDAs are going away. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so much truth about this man is going to come out and it's going to keep on coming out.

[SPEAKER_01]: He threw Pete Heggs at under the bus. [SPEAKER_01]: He did. [SPEAKER_01]: He said the war was all Pete's idea. [SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about this. [SPEAKER_01]: This is why he hires these miscreants and flunkies because he hires them as fall guys. [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want responsible roadups. [SPEAKER_01]: He wants punks. [SPEAKER_01]: He can land like a boil when it makes him look bad. [SPEAKER_03]: You're right. [SPEAKER_03]: We've told everybody this week.

[SPEAKER_03]: Look, you've got to make sure to stick around be healthy because of the fact that you want to be there for the Donald Trump. [SPEAKER_03]: You want to be more real urinal. [SPEAKER_03]: You want to be there. [SPEAKER_04]: Everybody wants to be around with that. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, Stephanie said, if it's in the morning, get some orange juice with your champagne. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, think of the Hall Bears. [SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be like, run Jeremy and Kim Jong-un and Rudy.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Rudy will be too short to reach the casket. [SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be drunk and stumbling and trying to tell me this guy's beautiful. [SPEAKER_03]: If you guys love John's comedy, he has more of it. [SPEAKER_03]: He's had no over the series XM to do his show. [SPEAKER_03]: You guys can join him over there. [SPEAKER_03]: John will see you here next week next Thursday. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you guys for doing what you do.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'll see you on Thursday on Friday and Stephanie show, by the way. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see you guys here tomorrow with Karen and Anita on Friday at the politics bar.
