Episode description

In this episode we talk about a recent Twitstorm over a 2-page spread that was featured in a Christian book publishers magazine. Needless to say, lots of people had lots to say ranging from views of outright shock and horror to not feeling like there are enough books aimed at making sure women know their place and should get the kettle on. We talk about what we think about these two page spreads: are books for women really that bad? Are books written by women only for women? How do we know if a book is for a women if there are no flowers on the cover? Join us and let us know what YOU think on any of our socials. And if it's something you really love talking about, join us for a Plumbline Live event on 12th Feb at 8pm and we can really go to town!
