Episode description

Following up from our previous discussion on Cuba, host Paymyrant reads from the book Marianas in Combat, Teté Puebla & the Mariana Grajales Women's Platoon in Cuba's revolutionary war, 1956-58. The story is told from an interview with Teté Puebla over two sessions in November 2000 with Mary-Alice Waters. This section ends a little abruptly, but Part II will follow shortly.

TW: The interview read in this episode features some descriptions of physical and sexual violence.
