The following. He's a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. Cowboys. This is the Player's laud broadcasting live from Dallas Cowboys World headquarters at the Star. Now your hosts Barry Church, Danny mccraig, Heck Ma Harrison, and Newi Scrugs. Monday, Monday Monday plays loud. Let's right, We're in the building here at the Star. Barry Church, I'm here, Heck Harrison, still naughty by nature. Baby,

let's go, let's go. Okay, okay, let's go. You know it is Houston's finest, Houston's finest, the great City of Houston, the world champion Houston Astros. Crazy. Yeah, ain't that here? This is what we're going with that. You're right, thank you, thank you. It's a great city, trying to celebrate great city. Six thirty founder Travi was crazy. I said, man, he said this worst things crazy, come on that. Nobody, Let

it go, Let it go. That was how many how many times he introduced me, is Houston's fathers today today? You know what this today? That was a shot. He say, you up for something that's gonna come right up? Yeah, you right into happy Monday. Let's go. He had a good birthday. Knew it was good. Man, Yeah, ain't text me, but it's alright, church out Hey, nice to see you this weekend, man, Man, appreciate the invite. But now you got it. You got it, she got one, she got

the Okay. Free agency this week, baby, Lots of moves are starting to happen around the national football How about the Carolina Panthers going to trade for the number one picked the trade with your old team to Chicago Bears. I want to ask you just just when you saw the trade, did you feel like the Panthers were fleeced

according to social media? You know I didn't. I didn't because we know we've been watching the teams like the Rams and teams like all the teams that like pushed all the chips in to make sure that they get what they want because they think that the future is there. So is it worth it if you if that's what you feel like? Yeah, Now do I feel like that guy is in the dram? Uh? Nah? So you look at it that way, Yeah you got fleeced. Yeah you

got flexed. But you never know what the draft, how guys are actually gonna turn out, so maybe it work out for them, but as of today, yeah, I don't. I don't know. Man, Yo, jumping all the way up to the number one, you would think that they know who they want um and so they should have some idea. I mean we say that that it doesn't look like, Look they don't have a guaranteed commodity out of college.

That they don't you don't have the lawrences, you don't have the ain't no Joe Burrow, Ain't no Joe Burrow or nothing like your guys. And he didn't even go one, so my bad. But but the number one, Joe, I mean, that's a hard position of being for a lot of teams because boy, if you miss on that big, it takes you a long time to get past that. As Cleveland, you know, that's trubisky. Look at it. Mistakes can be made.

And the one thing I hate about this time of the year is a guy coming from obscure that you didn't have any respect for him as a player in college, and all of a sudden they're talking about him at number one. It's like, dog, you're gonna make a mistake if you go out and get that guy. And I'm not gonna say the kid's name us. I want him to be the best that he could be. But still there may be a problem if you go out and

get a player that isn't bona fide. Now, most teams when they do that, they go and get a quarterback, and you know that Carolina needs a quarterback. So as also has been reported that Carolina may drop back down. So that's confusing to me if they do that, you know, if they drop back down in the draft to do what, I don't know. But Chicago, on the other end, I felt like they came out with DJ Moore, Chase Claypool

justin FI. I mean, I really feel like, you know, they're trying to solidify and then they can do some other things in the draft as well. So I mean, it's this week and going all the way up to the draft. Man, there's a lot of moves that's gonna be made, and Carolina was the first one to make the big splash. No, okay, I'm with y'all on that one.

I don't think they got fleased because, like you said, if you're going up there, they know who they want number one overall pick, and hopefully that can be the guy that kind of turn that organization around. I wouldn't go the route you were talking about. What the I forget his name, I'm gonna say his name, Anthony Rigards run the quarterback out there, because if you look at it, you know, big strong athletic, you know, freak of an

athlete out there, blew up on the combat. But if you watch the tape, I mean Florida went what I think seven and four, maybe seven and three, Like it wasn't like he blew the teams away in the SEC. So I'd be worried you of taking a guy like that. But if they're thinking about a quarterback they need, yes, we know, we know now in the NFL that you need a quarterback to win games in this league, and they've missed on a lot of quarterbacks these past couple

of seasons. So maybe they'll hit there. But I just don't know who's gonna throw the football too. I mean, you're give it away, DJ Moore. I mean, it ain't like these guys coming out of the league's gonna be my homes where you can just have a bunch of guys and they can lead them to the championship. So who they're gonna throw the football too. Not sure, but I don't think they got fleaed. I don't think they

got flee. Chicago definitely came out because if they have a solidified wide receiver group right now, when you add Mooney, you got DJ Moore, you got Clay Shape pull out there as well. They got a great running attack and then we all know fields what he can do out there as well. So I feel like Chicago came up. But I don't think Carolina got fleice. So you wouldn't take that guy. So if they take him, he got

all that for him. Does it? Does it pan out for you what they gave up to If they do end up taking Richardson, If they take it, ain't it ain't it? And I would up And I was thinking, levis actually you do? That's who I was. I wouldn't even that guy right there like this fool's go man. Don't do him like that, you know, put him where you're supposed to be. Secondly, the guy, I don't see the guy. What do you think? I don't see the guy.

But at the same time, I won't see anybody got fleeced, because if you get it right with the quarterback, then it's worth it. You look at the Chargers, they picked Herbert picked right. You get Joe Burrows Cincinnati, you picked right. So you make this deal and you get the right guy, then you're good. You're the Eagles. You trade all that for Carson Wentz looking good, You're the Rams. You traded all that for Jared Goff. You did go to the

super Bowl. So to me, no one's fleeced if this thing works out for you, So what will we know? And that then Aaron lies the key because it's it's a part of it. Is the player a part of the c organization. You've talked about it, all right, So whoever care a lot it takes? Who's a quarterback doing the ball too? You know who you're handing it off too, because because you let the run CMC go is shoot a Hubbard and that group of running backs. That is that what you're gonna do. So I look at I

look at Dak Prescott, man. I remembered when he was out there battling with homeboys that Jamille Showers you know what bo tea splitting it? You know, so you know the time, you didn't really think much about it, but boy, what a goal mine. So you have to take your shots in this league to get a quarterback. You just have to. And if you hit, then it's all worth it's worth it. If you don't, then you're like, who I'm with you, Danny, I don't see I don't see a Burrow. I don't see a guy like Luck that

you say, hey, man, go do this. Um When RG three came out, I was one of the guys, Hey man, r I would I would? I was? I said Luck. Then AI like, Man, you hit in one or two. So I think you have to do this in this atmosphere because it is a quarterback league. If you got one of these dudes, you got a shot. You don't. That's crazy. You brought up that because he's you know, we struck gold but in the fourth. But that's also their philosophy. Jerry's only taking a first round quarterback once.

When he bought the team, they took Troyman. They hadn't ventured in that at all. That's just not what the Cowboys do. But if you're Carolina, you've got the owner who wanted Justin Fields. Reportedly and Matt Rule at the time was like no, no, we're gonna be okay, We're gonna take jac Horn and you know, we'll be good. So that helped him get fired. So the owner wants to see a quarterback. So that's what you gotta go do. And and he takes the shot. He may work, Kansas City,

may it work. Cleveland take Baker Mayfield, you'll make work and it doesn't. All you do like New York and you take Daniel Jones. I mean, all of these teams understand in order to win, you have to have someone at the helm. And nobody's missing on that. And especially if you're picking number one in the draft, it's for a reason. It's because you wasn't very good. So I mean, whatever Chicago is doing with Justin Fields help. They've obviously doubled down on him to at least give him more

rope or opportunity to succeed in Chicago. And to me, with the draft picks that they have, they should they should look rope. Give enough rope. No no, no no, no, that's not enough rope. Whoa whoa back up? Double down on them, game, gave them some roll. They're giving you opportunity, like wrong choice of words, let you know, but I'm talking about up. I am building him up. Do they give him more runway? Yeah, like Michael Jordan's ceilings. So the Cowboys have been active in moving around in the

first round for for trading picks through the years. Um, obviously this could be the case this year. But I love the fact. Be at least I've seen all right, there's trades and where things happen, where they go. Free agency now is stepping up to the forefront. Doesn't look like the Cowboys are gonna make any splashes. Man, a more philosophy. Oh, hey, you won twelve games last year, made the playoffs. You won twelve before we made a playoffs, so we can criticize it. But you know, hey, I don't.

I don't know, man, I'm aught that hopium. So so I bring in you guys in here the hopium. Then restructure contracts last week, So Dad restructured seventy seven. Restructure. I saw seventy seven working out there last week. Hey, shape, best shape he's been here. Huh look good, look good, look good. So, so, guys, how are we feeling right now? As you know, how we feeling? Go to church feeling passing the plank? Best thing is so all right? We got a couple of games restructure and we got that,

we got tearing and all that good stuff. So what are we gonna address, you know, the elephant in the room, which is twenty one. What are we gonna do with that situation right now? Because right now you got what Tony Pollot on the franchise and then he and Zeke still still scheduled to make what sixteen? Yeah, so that's twenty six million in your back, that's what. So we gotta do something with that. We know where, we know that's not happening. We all he's stopped getting So is

it the restructure? Is it? Is it? Is it a massive pay cut? I mean that's not think you gotta figure that out. Next does restructure and pay cut? Is that the same? Because a restructure happening? So they gotta, they gotta, they gotta make up their mind on that one. I think that's the next step that has to happen. That's the next dominant. It's just another running back today. I can't. I was just listening to NFL radio and another running back to a million dollar, million dollars pay cut?

So you know, ohis the way Just to be clear, now you said seventy seven, it was seventy Jack got a restructure Smith, Yes, I want to make sure Chris being from the top rope to make sure that people know that Smith. No, no, come on back. Yeah, that

was about man. I've had I've had people explained the salary cap to me like I was in third grade, and I still don't understand why some teams can get around and pay the fine, take whatever draft pick penalties is going to be, and still get the players that they want. When it came down to the Jalen Ramsey trade, I was, I was, man, I threw my remote across the room. That was one I didn't want to hear because I thought we were in a position to possibly

sign this guy. Really, yes, why why you didn't wait a minute? You didn't think that Jalen Ramsey was worth the the comp that he had he received? Okay, what do you get third round? But he also got his guaranteed right the twenty million money. Okay, forget the draft pick. The draft pick. The RAMS just wanted something they wanted off the money. Okay, I'm trying to do. The RAMS is trying to get off money. So you had to take Jalen Ramsey's money and you got digs coming up.

You're not going to pay two corners top dollar? How in they? But then it again I prefaced. I've had people explain it to me like I was in the third grade. I still don't understand how other teams, How the Rams were able to win a Super Bowl with that much money on the books, How Philadelphia is able to do the same thing? What great? So the Rams are now the bills come due for the Rams. You didn't pushed it out? Did the credit cards say, dude? Or that you're like the rooms to go commercial? Go

we do it three years. It's three years. Now it's dude, the money's due. So they are pushing dudes off. I would not be surprised if they if they found somebody to trade for Matthew Stafford. They're trying to get off all this money because they're paying a lot of money. They're not going to be able to win money is getting MS millions. So here here's I'm saying, you can kick the can down the road. The Cowboys have done that historically, year after year after year, kick the can

down the road with these contracts. All right, but we understand that you're gonna have to have a certain amount of playmakers on your team to be able to make it to the Super Bowl. We feel like we are a player or players away. He could have fit that dynamic perfectly. If you look at digs and you look on the other side, what do we have unless you just believe that Kelvin Joseph is that guy. Come on, now, come on, we got playing No, no, no, okay, you know,

and it's not an l thing. I'm just saying. Then they pay Patrick Peterson tim million dollars les al right to paid him ten million dollars last year. He was one of the top corners for the team that he played on Minna for Minnesota. Now you think I'm gonna go so I got an option to possibly play him ten or less, and then I got Jalen Ramsey, who ever play seventeen. I'm not doing it. I'm not doing it. I think there are more options out there for you

to go not spend another seventeen. Just said, you just said Patrick Peterson at his age where he is right now, I'm not saying Pat p ain't that dude. He has me. I'm just talking now, we're just comparing players, that's all we're saying. I'm saying a guy that of his status, and then Jayla Ramsey chills all probably twenty twenty one. Do you listen with how our defensive we were serviceable with with Anthony Brown? Do we need to go get

the best guy out there? Or do we need to need to go get a guy I got so many dollars a spin? All? Right? Then then then what about your receiver? Then let's start here. Why don't we do this? Why don't we do this? Who's off the table. Then let's say tell me who's on the table, and let's say who's on the on the people? Three? Yes, who's off the table? Give me seventeen towards the wide receiver report. You give me seventeen towards the sea. You saw you

saw the receiver receiver we're talking about. No, no, no, no, no, no no no. You saw what the room looked like and the m CD and the maybe we drafted, we tried to drave them. We did all that, and free agency we bought in jay We come on now, yeah, I'm just saying that. I'm just saying because you were trying to get off cheap with you boom so so little at the receiver, Dan Quinn has been shown. He's been shown that he has the ability to go find free agents that could feel the spot that is needed

without having to spend seventeen MS on them. I think you can still do that this year. If I'm looking at places where I need to sure up something, it is receiver, offensive line, defensive line, and then and then I'll touch my my my cornerback position. If I if I gotta go crazy like that and I gotta pay that, you ain't gotta pay him to day, ain't got We're gonna kick that down, gonna walk into camp and just you know, risk it all like like that did it and you know, be okay, No, no, you somebod I

need a hat to get my money. You know how players are. You can't get my money? What do you mean if you did? You want you? You want it? Now I understand. And this isn't the organization that's gonna just you know, write that blank check to you so they can get it done. Now they're going to continue to kick that can down the road as well. No, what have you heard about Dig's this contract? Has anybody even started talking about that? Ain't even in the water.

I'm not We're talking about all the guys right now. We need to bring guys in to even get to the point. We talked about Championship for cornerback seventeen. That's on Thista. No, that's with the defense that you watched last season and you said, hey man, was was the cornerback position in our playoff loss? That big of a reason where you said, hey man, we if we really wanted to win that game and we had a cornerback, that we would have won that game. Looking around the

league and what if Philadelphia do laugh? I mean, since you let's talk about your boys. They went out and you got Slaying Brad. Come on, I mean, that's just act like they didn't go out and get two of the best cornerbacks in the NFL and put them on this week. They're trying to let Slay go out there and get back on the Oh, that's after the fall. They didn't win, but they got them. But Bertie Miami got Xavian Howard and now they have come on dogs

and they have two owners. Kenny got Xavian Howard. Didn't they pay all the other money to Byron Joseph. We ain't talking about we talking about what did they win? With those two guys, they you win this. Let's talk about what they do with Xavian Howard the and the other guy they just bought in. That's all I'm saying. Come on now, look all right with two and we don't know. I'm not talking boy. Look you know, really they really don't want Jalen Ramsay's contract though, because it

goes it goes up. It's seventeen this year, eighteen five next year, and then nineteen. Man. We hey, we restructure all the time. We restructure all the time. Man, we could push that, we could push that down, we could push that down the road. That we do it all the time. Man, we don't even know. And this is interesting thing. Does he does he want a new deal? Yeah? Yeah, I mean you hear guys all the time, y'all trader and a new new deal. It's just under poor. I

mean I just wouldn't do it. Bottom line is for me, when I saw a trade like, oh louy, then listen, I want the next segment. Whatever. Man, who's off the table. Let's let's who's off the table? That part, the last part wasn't knowing them, Well, you just live my camp. That little to popular belief that Danny mccraig, heck ma

Harrison's Barry Church, I mean we structs. This is the player Safe brought to you by to Detos heck mun and and if I read the took the meeting of Michael Parson's tweet when he saw Jalen Ramsey was traded. You know, again, got two people who zook not happy, not happy, Um, Jalen Ramsey, great player, but making a lot of money, and you're gonna have to pay trade bon digs. You're gonna have to pay Michael Parsons. I just don't think there's room enough to have two high

paid corners on this football That's just my opinion. But heck, what else you got for? No. I think at the end of the day, with the way that these trades may be structured throughout the week, you may have the Cowboys in a situation where they can pack guys to get a guy. Who's that guy? Who? Who are the guys that you're saying, we are absolutely not packaging this guy,

you know, who's off the table? And I think that's huh, all of the dudes that we're talking about this coming up to get paid for sure, guys, you've been proble. I mean, I think if you see you see Pro Bowl talent, especially talent that they have drafted, we don't know, we know the modus operendi here, it's it's resigned those players. That's that's what they do. So you know who's who's off the table. Can't touch the can't touch for us since uh, dank, you ain't touching your quarterback, you ain't

touching cd uh. Ain't nobody touching gallop? Uh? And I'm talking about outside of here because what he was coming off of last year, But that doesn't make him untouchable, doesn't make him up touchable. I'm saying when you say, hey, man, we're gonna trade for this guy, do you have another surgery like you just you look at it, you saying they, man, probably not that much value out there for the guy at this point. So when you think about tradable pieces,

you know, I don't. I don't see that. You know they ain't touching him, you know that you want them. I'm just saying, no, I ain't gon letting Rob, but I don't think nobody can ask me. Yeah, that's true. People outside of the build and see what we see. Great player when he's healthy, but hasn't been healthy. Yeah, getting back to Zeke yell it, we talked about that, what what do you do? And I wanted to ask you two guys, having watched other dudes teammates take restructure

deals and pay cuts How does that? How? How did they react? And I know you even took you know, how how is that you come? You mad? You better what your family say? He's still man. Look question right now. He don't want the traffic question to go. You talking about is he mad? You know you know how to play this man. I just want walking him into you. I'm walking him into this. But let me tell you something, man, I bought my way not to being mad because I'm

gonna get my money someway. I'm here, I'm leaving out of here with something you think I want coming back. I would do another show. I'm getting that funny you know the side of my text the cow Boy. I'm gonna get up and get all that money, especially at the time, just because I had uh I was on the free agent tender, right so I'm going into the

to the season. I'm like, yeah, all right, at the minimum, I'm getting one point three I'm all right, you know, especially coming off undraft the free agent contract, and they set me down right after um, right after the last preseason game I had a poor hamstring. Was like, hey, come in this room, got to talk to you. We're cutting it. I said, a boy hot bus sixty percent. I said, so can I have some time to go talk to go think about it. It was like, yeah,

I'll lead a room pretty much. Do you lead the room? You about of him? And at that point I had a pool hamstring. I couldn't go to where I made a phone call, didn't have no help on the other side. So I went ahead and took it, you know. And then that year I was salty and I got got at bout here on the shot town Man sixty percent six percent. So based on that, they do something similar to zeke Go. He makes sixteen, you take sixty or fifty percent of that, and they're gonna take more than

fifty percent. Of course. Oh yeah, um, how do you expect that player to be back in the locker room and going through it? Mean, just I think it's different for him than it is for me. One, he when he's drafted the first he also got paid. He got multiple years on that deal that he ended up getting paid for. And at that point he can look at his numbers and see that they have declined. He can look at his at his play and say, hey, man,

Tony Pollard actually was eating into my rips. It's there, is there a real legitimate chance here for him, like maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way versus mind where I was playing supposed to teams. Do you do you do you think he has the capacity to do a realistic self evaluation on himself and say, look, I think he got an eight. Somebody keep it real with him and let him somebody keep it real with him another.

I don't think he could go out there and take You say, man, I'm open to taking a sixty percent pay cut, but I think in his mind he knows he probably got to take some type of haircut, um, like I said, but different from me than him. Yeah. For me, that was I was just that was my first opportunity to get some and I was only playing supposed to seams at the moment. But they were you know, it was like, man, that that seven hundred were willing to get to get that game. And I don't have

to be Madame Cleo. I know, Bear Church, when they came in the room talking about sixty percent, you was out the league. Yeah, I'm the happen. It's gotta be a tough pill to swallow, especially you know you're talking about a Zeke. You know, he's always been that guy all the way. It's high school or how State took him on his back to the championship, came here rookie, I mean, just just m He's always been that guy's

always been the focal point. So that's gotta be a tough pill to swallow for your ego, just to say, you know why if you want to remain here, you know we won't you, but not at this price. So it's I mean, that's gotta be tough swallow. So that's happening. I mean, they all did you know what's happening now? And his agents, from my understanding of people who talked to Rocky that they get it. They just are like,

you know, don't don't, don't make it too much. You know, we got we got a number where we feel comfortable at. And that's obviously the case. But I'm just wondering, is it best not to just move on? Mickey Spackno how a great line he told me about ten years ago. He says, guys won't take a pay cut. They just won't take a pay cut for you. And that was right around the time Andre Jarribins like, I'd not taking that cut, and then he went up going to Baltimore

to play. But I just wonder, is it just the best way to thank you for your service, We appreciate you and let him move on along. Y'all brought tiring back. You're talking about letting Zeke get about it. Man, don't play the whole year. Yeah, he's talking about a guy that's gonna get it here and literally give you seventy percent of the snaps. Can I fight you on that? Yes? Please? Okay, this is what I'm going based on what they're saying. Okay,

Stevens talking about we want tiring back. Stephen also said Zeke understands he's making some money, so he just put it all out there. Hey, he understand he's got to take a pay cut. So I'm just I hear what you're saying. But what they're saying is we're bringing tiring back Zeke. We got at minimum we go ahead to make sure. I know. I'm just I'm just thinking of the thought process of like, hey, man, like I said, the dude healthy is a still a good player. He

has not been healthy almost for entire seasons. And then you don't know when. And then here's the other part, when it comes down to Zeke. You know that Jerry Jones for historically, since he's on the team, he's he's enamored with players, and you fit under that umbrella. And I think Zeke fits that umbrella. All the guaranteed money's already out of his contract. Will he take the pay cut?

Because if you have someone that an agent that's keeping it real with you, then you understand that there's not a market for you. If you're Zeke, this may be the only place for you to be. And so I mean, I don't want to force his hand him, make him take it, but he may be in that position where he has to take a play cut because there's no market for his services. Oh he needs to take it a little bit, pay cut, take it no matter what, because he take nobody's gonna pay sixteen. Well, his question

was should we just move on? And I was like, no, No, I want to take the pay cut, especially if you're gonna, if you're gonna when you win those two guys, Yeah, I don't know. Man wasn't like Zeke was just trash this season. That's why you franchise Tag. That's why your franchise tag Tony Pollard Because if he gets an opportunity to see what his market is. You may end up when you say when you say, hey, the guy, the

guy that you know he thought he performed. That's where I say terms of letting a guy go, because if you got to come back and you take less money and then you're like you said, man, he was been like, Hey, I did all this last year, play hurt this, I gotta take paka. How do you walk around the building? Do you walk around the build a little bit upset? And if you're Mike McCarthy, do you want that you got the new running back coaches? You running back coach

who was the assistant? Like you think he can handle that? I mean Skippy Pete and out here anymore to talk to him? Yeah, that's true. What is he? Would you? Would you really want to be somewhere where you where you kind of wanted here, not really wanted to be Like and that's the thing to me, like, do you want to be that guy to come here and be like I'm just here because I'm here so they don't find Yeah, like you got that Walmart rollbacks to cart y'all.

I don't know where I think I look at zeke as as the ultimate competitor, and if he was here, like you said, with a chip on the shoulder, realizing that if there's no market out there for you now and this is your only place, this is your last stop, then you have this is approve of year for you. And what do we know about players on improve of years? Most of the time the play. But so do you

want that zeke? Do you want that? I want? What I'm saying, that's the Zeke that I wanted in the backfield, a guy that knows, hey man, this this might be the last shot. So I need to make sure that I'm doing every possible thing that I can't want to impress the new running back coach and the coaching staff and be disciplined enough to myself to say that I need to go to bed on time, eat on time, do whatever whatever it is I need to do to make sure that I have my best season. Ye let

me ask you question. So let's just say the money is the same, Cowboys, is money the same as well as another team that's out there, you know, in the market for him. Would you stay here for that same money knowing that you're the kind of the clearance guy to backup guy, or would you go somewhere else and be you can be that starter for that same amount of money, put your ego on the chef and be a cowboy. You be a cowboy. Yeah, I'm leaving, I'm out speak. I would say he's not under your scenario.

He stays. His sister is in is in law school here in town, mothers trying to move down here, believe dad's here as well, so so they basically have this just become home right, home base. So if you're having to leave and go someplace else, then they're here. You're not here. You're not gonna be most likely playing state, paying state taxes and trying to learn a new office.

So based on the scenario you gave, if it's three two here and three two wherever else or five whatever, I would say he most most likely would take it here. But then again, that's why I asked a question. I don't know because obviously, man, this stuff happens. Man. Feelings are hurt, feelings are bruised. It's human. It's human nature. Man. If anybody, anybody out there, has worked for a company for a while and all of a sudden the company man with straight dollars, man daddy, he went through it.

It's not a good feeling, man, it's not a good and and you guys cases are playing pro football. You hurt might roll out here and lifted out here and didn't he braces on and your warrior. Yeah that's my family and all that now to the families. Yeah, it's a tough thing, that senor. For me, just having seen enough of these, I usually think it's best to let dudes go because that way, thank you, We appreciate you that you go on gonna be mad somewhere else and

look at me, give me the dirty stinker. I mean said, let me keep this clear, all right, the treatment that I got for my fake cut is not the treatment that Ezekiel is gonna get me here he get locked in no room, un telling you can't leave, all right, So let's let's make sure we got that out there. Let's gonna have call your mom. And now they're not gonna catch him slipping at the building. He go already, you know he got time I was at the building, Like, now,

you ain't leaveing anything. If you do, you ain't coming back. That's that's what he ain't getting that treatment, bro. So to be a little different, so him being as salty is me. Probably not, I don't know. Let's take a take a break here. Um, there's a free agent on the offensive line I want to talk about and see whether or not you guys would bring him back. Let's do it next. Yeah's he got it. People. We'll see out there, but I'm not going out there. But if everybody want to get a country on, get the country off, all right. Danny mccraigeg Ma Harrison, Mary Church. I'm new. He structs Knam a government a free agent, and we have not spoken a lot about kind of a government at all.

No do you bring kindam a Government back and with the team putting all indications and Tyrann Smith will be back being right tackle depending on if Terrence Steel is playing or left tackle, and then whatever you do with Tyler Smith or you put Tyland Smith in left guard.

I mean all of it. I come back, and what do you do with Kna mc governor, man, I can tell you I'm torn on that because I hadn't seen any NFL teams getting rid of offensive lineman unless they've exceeded their value in some way, they can't sign them or they've not exceeded you know, most of the time, young healthy offensive lineman is a commodity in the NFL. You want to hold on to that. Kantor m a Government when we drafted him, I think he had a red shirt year because of a knee or a hamstring

or something like that. And when you have a guy work out the way that Kuna mc government has, you try and get him signed to a new contract. You don't let him go to another team because he's a guy that could possibly have a ten year or longer NFL career if he's if he's healthy. So I think Connor mcgovernor has done everything that you needed him to do as an offensive line, and you've built him up to this point. No need in getting off of that progress that you've built up in him. Now you have

equity in him. I think you stay with it. We got a new old line coach, that's what I know. Yeah, but we know about these coaches. They got their own players that usually they have an eye on. So I say, if you think this guy is about to hit the free agent market and you got a new offensive line coach, that that guy must have somebody in mind or he must have seen something on tape to say, this guy right here doesn't fit the technique or the system that

I'm trying to bring to the Cowboys. So if that's the way it's going, hey man, bring your own people in. Bring him in, because the job it's on you at this point. When you come in here, they're expecting you to get this offensive line in shape to make sure that one we have a dominant offensive line they can pass, block and run protech. Because you're paying your running backs right now twenty six million dollars, so you want to,

but you want to keep back healthy as well. You want to some time you don't want that pressure up in the middle. So uh yeah, I want to I want this like I want MacArthur to come here and call the players. I want this offensive line coach to bring in the guys that he thinks it's gonna work best in his system. That's true bringing. I say bring him back. You know, you gotta have as much depth as you can on the offsive line. And we saw last year we had you know, Jason Peters. Nothing against him,

but you know he was up there in age. He was up there in the age, and you know, he performed while doing spot duty good. But when they put him in there, you know, the full time guy, he kind of struggled a little bit. So I think you have to go kind of young ger on the officive line. We're already flirting with the older tier guys out there with Smith. Martin's still phenomenal, but he's getting up there in the age as well, So I say bring him

back depth along the offensive line. And then, uh he was doing good last year too, so I mean he can he can add some depth to this offensive line. He's got some position flex you can also play some center here. But it's Danny bring up a good point. I got you forgot about that boy. Yeah, so lor he's gonna come in here. So what does a new offensive line coach want to do there? So Dalton shows and we all agreement that that about it. Okay, Dad, he'll be he'll be with a you know, put your

boys help y'all west with my guy. Thank you for when he is a top free agent on the list. What I'm saying one to five? He said one to five with two thousand yards over the last two seasons. You know the guy. The guy's a good player. Yes, it just depends on what you want from your tight end. From the tight end position, you want the pass catching guy, one of those safety blankers, or do you want a guy who's gonna be nasty in the ring game? And then also Casser passes out of the what we know.

We know he's not nasty in the Usually it's hard to get bots like those guys, George, you know, it's few and far between for you to be able to find those type of guys in the league. Even like Evan Ingram, he's not nasty in the ring, but yeah, he can get out there and really brought up some guys and play outside of the formation. So it just

depends on what you want. So Church, I'll ask you, this is this NFL free agency comes around here, what was your agent telling you as this as this moment came and you knew, you knew you weren't gonna come back to the Capital. Oh, I knew. I think the

uh the window opened to this today. Yeah, so I had knew the day before, you know, the day before you know who all want shot, especially if you're one of them Day one guys that you know, as soon as the free agents hits your your contracts already basically signed up and ready to go. So I had knew I was gonna be out of here soon, especially halfway through the season. I forget the guys now you eat the ball cat kind of you know, he comes down

there for I think his name's Adam. Maybe he was ahead of all the contracts back when we was playing. Oh yeah, he came in him halfway through the season. You know, Nay, you know you got good market on you right now, you know, So we're gonna see what we can do. That on the phone my agent the next day, Hey, man, shop around. We gonna see what we ended up coming with the Jaguars, and I went for the highest bidder. I didn't care about teams or who's good and what's best skiing fit. I didn't care

about nothings. I need this bread. So Jaguars came a knock and I said they are they the highest bid? Between them Carolina and uh the Commanders. Yeah, so it was between them through Oh man, I'm so happy I didn't do that. It was a little short. You didn't do that got the go so, you know, shout out Jon Hatcher didn't try to recruits you or anything like that. No, I think I think he might have been gone by

that time. I think he might have been on his like they were releasing him his last year or something like that by the time I went to Jacksonville. But yeah, there was a couple dollars shorts. Did you visit anywhere? Just nah, I don't even visit. I didn't know what these figures is talking about it. Yeah, it worked, working, yea working? Or shows me the money you got it too? What that was my guy right there? I mean, but

showing you know what? Man, so many you you're gonna start to see like you saw the run pain yesterday for the Commanders boy, he broke the bank. I'm talking about back the bring, struck up to the facility, throw the bags in there. I mean you got that. They didn't even allow him to even get to the point. You know. It's I mean, teams are gonna show you what they think about you. Man, You're gonna start to see real quick, exactly, real quick. I hated for the player.

He's a really good player. It's just a bad organization. Man. You get paid a lot of money, man, but you're not going anything there. He's a bad owner. He's never won anything there. But hey, you know, I said, I'm sure the run pain don't care in the in the pay family. They good, they called, they talk a generational wealth. Play together after a minute. You know you do once you've got the bag and you know you're good than that part of it. Like, man, I'm not winning, but

who knows I own to get kicked out? Who sees what they do? Nah, man, order seals a team whatever they do, gentlemen, time has flown by. Man. I was quick, Yeah, it was quick, man. It was a quick Barry Church check Ma Harrison, Danny, but CRAI I'm knew he scored. This is the player's lounge. Tell your friends back the subscribe you do all that good stuff here shown whisper because we got roping, we got the problem. You could have let that with rid. Anthony brown Is he technically

a free agent? He got another year left? Who Anthony Browner free? He's a free Ah he's free free. Okay, yeah, we get that big contract. Play Slaves about You by Tostitos on Dallas My Man. This has been a production of Dallas Cowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
