Stephen Jones said that Monday on his radio show, but he could see Tyrant Smith back. He said, we don't know. They don't know what's going don't do my boy like I mean, listen, he might

not know. Which is if he doesn't know, though, that's better for Terrence Steel, thank you. You know, if he don't, I mean if he does, If right now today he hasn't said hey, we're gonna move forward with with with Collins, then that's that it's a better possibility, better odds that still still has a shot. Say you know what, Steal is gonna be all right tackle until further than this because because they're not sure, they're not sure he hasn't shown in those five weeks, six weeks that he deserves

to be on that offensive line. You don't think so Now I'll come back into and this is me reading Jerry? Okay, I always go how Jerry talks. He said, Collins is the enforcer. That's our offensive blind enforcer. You need that guy. So he has he has a love of Collins. He's one of those boys. And this is how I read it. Connor Williams in trouble, you're left guards in trouble. I would agree with that. You want to put your best five out there. And we've talked about how Terrence Steele

has earned the opportunity to keep playing. And if you want your best five and you want to also start, you run left versus always running rights. What you do And you said college isn't enforcer. Okay, a left side of Collins and Smith. Hello, I think that would work. Hello, But have we seen him get reps at guard since, because, like you said, still was rotating in that left at left tackle throughout training camp. Have we seen Collins take any reps at guard? Have you seen it he's been

at practice. We have not seen those they said in practice right, right, But those have been close to the media. But they when he came back, that's where they were having at work at tackle and left guard. He has played left guard the National Football league, so this would not be something that he has not done. And he got some bricks in his pocket. He's a bigger dude, and he's protected on both sides, so I don't see Cash just coming in there bull rushing him like they're

doing Williams right now. He's getting pushed back almost each and every time, and he's the most penalized UM player or either on this Cowboys team or offensive line, one or the two, he's the most penalized. And it's obviously we spot out there. Is this an immediate change because I'm I'm really focusing on like this week, like who's going to be starting this week? And this is all if T Smith is able to play, if T Smith is back, who is starting it right tackle? Who's starting

the left guard? If it was up to me, if I'm making these these decisions, these these executive decisions, I'm putting Still at the right. I'm putting Still at the right. I think he's held it down those five games, and we know it's not like he's gonna be a huge drop off, like he's just gonna be a week lead

to this officive line. So putting him at the right and with how Williams has struggled so far this year because this ain't like, you know, a one off where he just went out there and had a bad game. He's been getting pushed back since Week one. I mean, you know so, and I think he gets hitted a lot because you know, he has Tyron Smith on one side,

he at Biadastro on one side. But he's still getting pushed back out there and getting these penalties overall, and that can affect us once we start playing against these better teams in these playoff runs. So do you want to shore that up? Now? Get these guys these reps during the regular season before you get to the playoffs and it really counts. I think you gotta go with your best five. And right now I don't believe Williams

is one of the Yeah, I'm going best five. I agree with you all right one, because I don't know if I'm biased or not. Like I said, I don't know Terrence still, he doesn't know me. Mine is just on the guy went out there. We watched him over the five weeks. He had a hard season last season, came back proved itself by getting better, getting bigger, getting faster, getting stronger and got out there and earned a spot.

Yea to the fault of Collins. And I like Collins, but he went out there and he made he made a bad decision. So if there's an opportunity for him to move in the play guard and that could make us better as a unit, better as a team, can I say we're moving forward with that one, because it's like, let's take it to the safety position. It was it

was supposed to be Kazy and Wilson out there. Then Wilson ended up getting hurt, missed a couple of weeks, Curse came in and Wally pipped him for the most part. Now that wasn't understandable because if they put Wilson back in there and be like, all right, you know, he gotta he gotta hurt, he gotta give it an opportunity to get his job back. But on the offensive line, he eated that to himself. Collins did that to himself. He gave an opportunity for Ti ste to go in

there and ball out. So I don't think it's it's like you said earlier, what type of president or were setting in this locker room? If you can mess up that bad, have a guy come in here for five games and ball out and just saying, oh, you know, he's making fifty MILLI he's making that big money, so we gotta pull him out of there. So are you about deserve You're saying Terrence still deserves. I think he deserves to get in there, and I think I think so. I believe he deserves to be there for the last

two weeks. Uh, and then you still had the option to put a left tackle and then bump him in when Tyran gets back. I'm a big fan of the old Clint Eastwood Western called Unforgiven. I've never seen him. I know you haven't seen it, but Gene Hackman is a fantastic actor, and so is Clint Eastwood. And Gene Hackman gets shot at the end and he says, I don't deserve to die like this. nothing to do with it. a cool, calm and collected type guy. You know, not not really to make any any stirs in the locker room because if that was you know, if that was somebody else. But hold up, man, how are you? Somebody who can who can guard a one on one and take some pressure off Michael Parsons to be able to blitz from whatever position he wants to, or line up on that lot of scrimmage and get out there and get him a second. We're talking about as long as he's been, as long as he's right next to Parsons, he's supposed to be

that god. Yeah, well you see, but you think about the money. We talk about how it is once he gets back to the defense. I ain't thinking about how much you get paid because obviously there's a lot of guys getting paid. Jaylen Smith still getting paid. Ain't even on the rock howl because about tanking exactly. That's that's what I'm saying. It ain't about the money. We're talking

about the impact on the field. When has he made that is all I know is he forced a fumble in his first game, the first game, but the Sea Gregory got about three of them one game. Man. I just man, I don't know, I don't know. I think Collins playing the first think, I mean, he didn't play the next time. The first thing I think. I think, in fairness though, um, Tank needs an opportunity to show

what he can do in this defense. What we've seen across the board is every player that dan Quinn has came in contact with since he's been here has been has become a better player. I think that Tank Lawrence in this defense, with the coaching that he's getting from dan Quinn, is going to have a huge impact impacting. Let me simply go right back here to the topics. it's still going to be competitive games within that division. Also, it's five straight wins by San Francisco against La So some people, some people expected to see that last night between them and the Raiders, that they one of them got to snap out of them because there, you know, all most of the good teams had that little let down last week, the Cowboys, the Raiders, the Rams. And then you come out and the Cowboys turn it around, right,

and then you see the Raiders. They go out there and they get embarrassed, and then the Rams go out and get embarrassed all right, and then think they thank thankfully for us. Kyler Murray is still out, so we got a chance to overtake them, but we still got that bad man out there in Green Bay who is going to give us a run for our money to get that number one seed. Because I would rather be here. You don't want to do that. I'd rather be here

for a game against the Packers. If we have to play them then going on, we don't want them problems. I've been up there in January and it ain't fun and as cold as all heck man. So right now, the Rams are seven to three football team. They're they're one game behind Arizona. Arizona beat the Rams, so they are seven and three. Tampa Bay ended up losing to Washington. They're still in first place in the South. Over a game against New Orleans. Tampa Bay leads that sixty three.

Packers eight and two in the North, Cowboys seven and two in the NFC East. But just all this talk about the Rams, a lot of people had the Rams ahead of the Cowboys and rankings that will change this week. Also their schedule. Like you know, we were looking at the art tests and looking at how well they played, I mean outside of Tampa, but I don't think they played played very many money too, so Detroit. I think

they played the Bears. The Beard played like the Texas, but like their winners against Tampa, they hadn't they hadn't really played who was more disappointing. But it's outing von Miller or Beckham. We kind of gotta get Backham a little bit of slide though. Yeah, it would have to be Vaughn, because I mean it, defense is a lot different than going out there and trying to figure out what to do on offense. And then they had got behind, so Odell couldn't even be out there because he couldn't

run to hurry your offense. So it would have to be Vaun just based off the office. Wasn't even like just looking at Vaughn, it just didn't. It just didn't look like he had a juice or any pop off that edge like he might maybe he's still nursing the injury or whatever, but trying to come, trying to come to anybody look worse than Higby out there all right, man, why does he have that neck roll? If you're going to try to find a way to get a playoffs, what you can't lose this one home. So Green Bays a two and a half time No, that's twelve a chance to

Cam Newton is going to quarterback the Panthers again. This week, they get Washington. Washington ended up losing. they get the home game. They face the Bengals. So two five and four football teams, right, Joe Gon come back with what Joe coming back with the game there. Seattle is three and six and they're going to host the Arizona Cardinals. Cardinals are a two and a half point favorite. The game is in Seattle. Who on the defense would you pay to keep outside of Brandy Gregory When it comes to free agents, Randy Gregory's a free agent, and to me that was as simple as hey, we'll slap the franchise tag if we can't get anything done. Layton vander esh is a free agent. Keant O'Neill is a free agent. J Rod Curse is a free agent, Demante Kzy is a free agent. So there's a couple of guys on the team that you're gonna have some decisions on. That's true, I mean, man, And to me,

it all depends on what they're asking for now. Like all these guys are playing pretty well, Cursed Kean O'Neil's you know, LV, the guys are playing pretty well out there now. If they're asking for you know, you know, upwards of you know, eight to ten a year, then then none of them can come back to me. You know, I don't think they take the ball away enough at those positions to be warranted that high a price tag.

But if they're coming back, if you can get Curse on a you know, a two for six type deal or maybe even a two for eight type deal, whereas four formula year, I go hid and do that because I mean, he he plays in the blocks well, he plays a man and man coverage well, he just doesn't

take the ball away enough for me. Like I mean, if you, if you, if you're paying a safety top dollar, he's got to be able to take the ball away similar to a digs or at least be able to go out there and trip the ball, do some of those type of things. But he's a he's a leader out there. He's a solid player. So if we can get him on a lower level deal, than I'm all about it. But if everybody's asking for more money than you know, hey, we gotta blow up the whole thing. Yeah,

You got a franchise quarterback, you got a number one receiver, you got Higgins, you got a running back. I mean, you got pieces. I

wouldn't do it. And the reason I wouldn't do it just just considering how we've seen that ownership operate for so many years. I just wouldn't do it. If if it's my second shot, it just kind of going back. We're saying, if you're going for your second shot, you want to make sure I've got a real shot. Right, that's not the Cincinnati Bengals. I mean, he's the same guy who's kept Dave Gettleman out there and they've made some strange decisions man um To me, one of the to me, one of the red flags about Joe Judge's hiring. You got hired from

New England and nobody else come with you. You had to go hire Jason Garrett and you got more Jason Garrett's guys with you than you brought with you out. What was I saying? He's like, you know, you hire all right, Georgia hires Kirby Smart. What's Kirby Smart? Got him kick out a couple of dudes running for him from Alabama? Nick is mad at him.
