You're not gonna have Tyrant Smith the left tackle, so he's not gonna be Yeah, now they're gonna it looks as though they're going to switch the guard spot and
take Carter McGovern now and put Carter Williams in. He all but confirmed it today. But so we're putting back I mean, we're just switching these guys in and out, you know. During the game. We're subbing them in and out. One guy gets a series and another guy gets another series. I just don't understand how any of these guys get any type of fluid or any type of rhythm as a game progressive, I mean, as a unit, you would
think this offensive line needs to play together. They need to get the continuity to learn each other's strength and weaknesses and how they can help each other out. But you know part of that was due to injuries. You know Ti Smith went down. You know Collins had the five game suspension. We all know that. But for the first time in a while, this offensive line was able to play together. Ti Smith went down. You're putting you're putting mcgovernor out to put Williams back in. I don't know. Man.
To me, it smells of scrambling and it smells of just I don't know what to do. We gotta put our best five. You don't like that situation? Can can we go into it? From this standpoint, this is where you have to put some trust in them. They're seeing something with Connor McGovern that says, you know what, we should go back to our other option. One of the big things that was kind of used against Connor Williams. He was penalized, one of the most penalized linemen in
the league. Right, you know, you are drive killers holding ten yards, those are drive killers. So but but clearly they're they're not seeing what they want, so they're going to go ahead and pretty much make the switch. Now he didn't, Mike, doesn't you know it rarely does he just give it to him. He just kind of led you to hits at it a little bit. Yes, we should expect to see number fifty two back at left guard, so you're you're your whole left side of the line.
It's gonna change Steel tackle And didn't you have Williams at guard? And we all saw how Steel was at that left tackle position. I mean, I feel like we both feel like he was better at the right side of the right guard. But if you but if you have left guard, but if you have Collins already situated in there, I'm steal Yet, if you have cons already situated in there, I guess you got to throw him
on the left side. But that's a whole new left side. Now, like you said, with Smith being out, you put Steel on the left side, who struggled, and now you put Williams back in there, who struggled with penalties out there. So that's the blind side of Dak Prescott. This is not something that he's gonna see coming. So I don't like the situation at all, But I guess this officive knows something that I don't. At this point in time. You know, you have to be prepared for tiring, missing games.
You have to CRAI was right on that one. So this is just the reality of it. You knew what coming in here. You you got, you got a lot of season out of him. But look, bottom line is he's been missing four games now was four straight years, so you you you knew you had to factor that in. So here you are. Terrence Steal was supposed to Terence Steal. Tian Techy was a swing tackle. Those guys came in there,
that Steal won the job. So now he's over here at left and you're just hoping that more games he gets more comfortable and that he can be as good as he was on the right side. And maybe he never will be the left tackle or is the full time guy in the NFL. But right now you're gonna
go ahead put him out there. You play with a guy who ended up making a nice switch over in the air got him in Big Carnet, Yeah, Jeremy Parnell, and he went over there because I think Doug Free got hurt with like six games left in the regular season or however, went and he ended up feeling in this is twenty four team when we had went to the playoffs. So he went in there, did a great job filled in, and another team came and snagged him up, Jacksonville.
Jacksonville came and paid him and snagged him up. So hopefully if we get that same situation with Terren Steele at the left tackle position, somebody who can't at least hold down the fort for the maybe the remaining of the regular season, if however long time and Smith is out, hopefully he's able to hold that thing down and have some type of continuity because we need this offense to get going. I think I think we can all agree
about that. We need this offense to get some type of momentum, something going in the right direction, because right now this defense is doing a hell of a job of holding things together for this team. But like we talked about earlier in the week, I'm not so sure Once we get the playoffs and the quarterbacks they're gonna have to face if they're gonna be able to just drag this team along the playoffs just being our defense being that good to me, it's a struggle. But we
gotta hope that Tyren Smith can come back healthy. So this is the situation they're facing. But this is the perfect remedy. You go ahead and test it all out. Hey, here comes the New York Football Giants. The Cowboys have won eight of their last ten meetings. They played them earlier this year in Arlington. It was a forty four to twenty victory for the Cowboys. Daniel Jones not expect playing this football game. It means Mike Glennan, so boom already.
You gotta watch in turnover right there. You got a ten and a half you're your favorite by ten and a half points by Vegas. So this is this can be a get right for game for the Cowboys. Dak Prescott can get right in terms of making some accurate throws. Offensive blind could try to get right as they had to figure out how what kind of continuity they're gonna have going into the end of the year. So there's you somehow get right and find something in the running game.
Can you get Corey Clement involved in the run game? I really think that's that's gonna be. To me, that's a key player right there, Corey Clement coming into this game to seeing what he can do, because we know, you know, Zeke's not going to be able to take those twenty to twenty five carries like he has in the past. I mean, and even if they do give it to him, he might get twenty carries for forty yards. I mean, he's he's three yards in a cloud of dust.
Right now. We all understand that Clement. Last week he showed me a little something, you know, albeit it wasn't a big sample size, but he showed some you know, nice births. He has a couple ten yard runs there. So to me, this is a guy he's experienced. This is not like a guy that's a rookie. He was a part of that Super Bowl team in Philadelphia. He's been to the top of the mountains. He actually scored a touchdown in that game. So this is not like
a rookie. This is a season veteran here. So I wouldn't mind them giving him a little bit more opportunities in that Tony Polar type role where they maybe give him some screens out of the backfield, give him some draws, let him do what he got to do out there. So I think they could definitely use him in that regard. But like you said, if there's any team right now that we need to get our confidence up against that we need to get something rolling, it's the New York
Football Giants. I mean, they have Mike Glennon, who's a walking turnover right now, playing the quarterback position. Last time we met up with this guy, two interceptions, one of which happened to be a pick six to Anthony Brown. So I think they can fully take advantage of this guy, especially with the pressure that this Cowboys front seven can provide.
So we can take advantage for him, and hopefully we can provide our offense with short fields so they can go in there, get their confidence up, get a couple of touchdowns, and hopefully get this thing going in the right direction. But if there's any team I'd love to play right now, it's got to be the Giants. And then you've also got the fact that the Giants are scoring a lot of points not at all. Okay, so they don't score any points. Freddy Kittens is now the
offensive play caller. Look, it hasn't improved with him either. I mean, this is just a bad organization and I expect I expect at least the general manager to be gone after the season. Was Mayer. Dave Gettlan get them. And that's what Dave Getlman, who's just I'm sorry the job has been bad. Daniel Jones, I mean it just it's up right now, you know. They they they took the offensive tackle out of Georgia and in a tackle rich class, they had the first pick and the and
the guy you took was the worst one. They could have had a couple of casts on well, no pena sol was this year was the year before where all they had like five good tackles. Anyway, they picked the first and the kid out of Georgia and Andrew just had been that good. They should have took worse, right, the guy that said Tampa worse worse performa Yeah, he's performed well, Beckton's done well. I mean, look they just took the wrong one. So you know, Gettleman's gonna be gone.
And when you start thinking about you know, just something as simple as you could have had Michael Parsons. Think about that, they could have had Parsons, You could have had Michael Parker. Can you imagine what Michael Parsons doing, Not that he had done it in New York to the extent he's done here because Dan Quinn has used him so well. But if he's having that season up there with the LT comparisons, oh, guy's limit right now. But they dropped the ball on that one. And then
look who they got in free agency. They wouldn't got a Kennedy Gallant from Detroit, paid him all that money and the gout he can't get open, Well, he can't beat one on one coverage. When when Gettleman went out of paid Nate Solder all that money tackle when he was getting beat like a drum. When Bill Belichick buy, I mean really, when when Bill Belichick is done with you, you got to ask yourself, do I really want that player? Because usually he's taking guys in that he can, Oh,
watch what I can do with this guy. But if he can't, if he can't transform a guy that he's had in his organis, it's time to let him go. Time let him go. He shouldn't have picked him up when Chad Ochocinco went if, they're like, yeah, that's not gonna work out. He didn't do anything else. Marus Thomas went up there. And the crazy thing of it for me is how Jerry Reese, when he was a gym there had won two Super Bowls. Jerry took so much grief and at the end they
put it all on him. Jerry's teams were better than anything. Dave Getlman's running at least had a shot every year. I mean this year it's just like, man, hell we got the Giants. That's a dub, right, And I mean, it sucks for that to be as story franchise as they are. I mean they fell off the mountaintops quickly, and you got a general manager they brought in from Carolina. Okay, so Getlman was a Carolina and he was a general
manager when they went to Super Bowl. But the key players like Cam Newton were guys that were drafted by Marty Hernie, the guy before him. So the best get Luke Keithley, the key players, those guys you know that Josh Norman that was the other general manager. And Gettleman got to ride off of that, off that success with Old John and claiming on his own right, claiming on his own They didn't win the Super Bowl, but he
got to claim it as his own. And there are people in the Giants organization they bought it like, hey, he was with us, he went down there and they probably didn't happen that one. It didn't happen. There's a lot of guys at times you just say is it you or was it where you were at? Or were there people who already had things in place and you were able to take advantage of them. Hey, like I said, he pulled pulled the John Gruden John Gruden had Dungee's boys.
Same thing up here in New York. So we'll see. So that's you, you know, and you got there as Cam Newton had matured and got already was he was at his his you know, Superman, I'm ripping the ripping the chest open Superman. He was already at that level. It ain't like he had to go in there and develop this guy. So, like you said, the defense was already in place. Keith Lee Norman, you know, I forget the guy's name, broke his arm and played in the
Super Bowl. Yeah, Thomas. They was already a STA listed here. So yeah, and so say, Quon Barkley looked like a generational I thought he was Zeke two point old type guy. After his rookie years. He's hurt. Now that's a player that they can't They can't give him a long term deal, no way. I mean, he's been injured the past two three two three years. He's been injured since his rookie since. It's after his rookie year, that was it. Everything's been
hurting every since. So they've got so many issues there. Which this is a game. I'm not going to this game, but I remember the last game I went to with the Giants two years ago because they go last year with COVID. It was one of those where they've fallen off so bad late in the year that if you're a Cowboy fan, you're rolling up in there with with no problem. I mean, the Cowboy fans can get tickets because the Giants are just like the fan base is like and you just look at that whole town between
the Giants and the dog On Jets. Man, this is a pathetic football. It's bad. It's bad, and it's like the offensively, we just gotta show up. If we come in there and show up, I don't think this team will give us any type of problem. But defensively, the Giants they got some pieces. They got Leonard Williams up front. You know, they got crowd of the rookie. Question he's questionable, man, I was about to say he could be a game record, but if he's questionable. They got the young linebacker Crowder
I believe, and they got a safety. They got two pieces in the secondary, James Bradberry who's had it was a Pro Bowl season last year, and then they got McKinney who has five interceptions. So they got some pieces defensively, but to me as a whole, you can just tell this organization is not where they want to be or where it even was in the past. And this is a team that right now that they're in turmoil, they're in free fall. Right now, they can't seem to get
out of each other's way. And right now they're doing what losing teams does. They find ways to lose the football game, whatever it may be. They might have a lead, that lead will get the minished, they might be trying to battle back, There'll be penalties out there. This is a team that we just need to go in there, show up, don't give them any type of confidence going forward. When we go in there, we got to make sure
we step on their throats to begin with. No, they don't belong on the same field as us, and get away with it and just get get back on the plane and get it done. We shouldn't be messing around with these guys at all. And it has to start fast from the beginning. Got they've got a COVID outbreak over there. Okay, So Dorry Jackson, it's like a lot of team tested positive COVID for Thursdays. So you got Xavier McKinney. All right, he's on the COVID nineteen list.
He was a high risk close contact. He's not playing. Linebacker Cam Brown is out the same thing. COVID um tested positive forts so then he got, uh yeah, Dorry Jackson COVID. So the riddle right now. Cornerback Aaron Robinson, you know he's he's out. So if there if there was any type but get back, get right type of game, this is it a good time. the case may be. James Robinson situation where the guy fumbles, he doesn't see the field for the next basically two games. And then you got this last situation where oh you're missing one was missing. What may even be the most important that Trevor Lawrence, it had a lost rookie season, because it is you're arguing with the franchise. The guy that's supposed to take you out of this term been
developed at all at all, not been developed. So so that's the most critical piece of what's Hey, we got a free we got the number one pick in the draft. We got this kid has shown you very little zero. He looks like he looks so confused out there, and half of the time it's like, man, I don't even know what to do, and he's going into the media saying, look, I need this guy to play, but the coach is
basically not letting them play out there. I mean, you knew something was up with the franchise of a quarterback being that young, a rookie quarterback being that young, speaking out against his coach and what they got going on over there in Jacksonville. You knew something was on the was on the riffs. He spoke out against the usage of James Robinson. Hey look, this is one of our better players. Why is he on the bench for your
pet running back from Ohio State? Who hasn't the Carlos right who nobody else has been wanting So it is. It's ridiculous for Urban Meyer's done. But I mean, look how much he has embarrassed himself, his family, major leaf, and his reputation is tattered as a whole. Do you can we expect this guy to get another job? Remember what he said about his own coaches, called them loose. Assistant coach called how you he's the one. It wasn't like staff was high picked. They didn't hire themselves. Yeah,

Can they do the same thing, because I know coaches contracts are fully guaranteed, So they can they say this, like what his what his actions have caused, his conduct to the team, and all that other stuff. Can they take that guaranteed because they owe him a lot of money. Still, here's what I would be assuming here when he got back from Cincinnati and shot had the whole statement, he's got to go ahead and get our respect back. But also, um you could see him. Look to someone like dan Quinn. Dan Quinn has gone to a super Bowl. Sexy higher if if the defense keeps playing well, it's gonna be a sexy higher in an offseason. Kellen Moore, I would
not do, wouldn't touch it. But but a guy like dan Quinn who has respect, because that's what you've got to get ready, who's got some respect and and has has led a team to a super Bowl.
