rookie head coach to credit. They've gotten better. They started to see a little bit of what they do but Washington and Philly bow six and seven football teams. So give me Philly to win the night, and that's pretty much gonna effectively end Washington. I'm taking Philly as well. And um so if if if Philly wins, the Cowboys clinch, is that how it works? Okay? Yeah, it is being a spectator of the game. I don't know if it's just the football mind, but seeing it

and you're going through all the situations. I mean, every every game I've watched this year, and you get into you know, halftime two minute or into the game two minute, I'm sitting there bank of time. You know, I'm in there. I'm in I'm in the liver room. My wife's sitting there watching me, and she's like, what's the matter with you? And I'm like, another opportunity right there? What do we do with? Coach? Come on? It is crazy how you can see, like from the coach's perspective, Like when I

was playing, I didn't see the little things. I'm like, man, why didn't this guy just play high to low? Or like why didn't this guy take this angle or that angle? And as you you see it from you know, the fans perspective and in the coach's perspective, it's the game simplifies a lot. But when you're on that field, I mean, you just see things going one hundred miles an hour. You know, Man, I wish I would have done that.

I wish I would have done this. So it's it's definitely a different take on the game when you're on this side of the ball. No question, Cowboys are sitting at the number two seeds, green Bay is sitting at the one seed. Green Bay almost got beat by Baltimore on Sunday, And what what what's your belief level that the Cowboys can get to the number one seed. Joe'll lead us up. Well, I definitely, I definitely think the

Cowboys are sitting in a great place right now. When when when you when you're in control of your own destiny. Always felt like that that's the best place you can be as a football team. And you no matter what happens with the game tonight, you know, Chris said, you know, if the Cowboys win one more, you know they clinched the division. I always thought that was the most important thing as a football player, that we control what's going on. And as we see the NFL's it's it's it's up

and down. I mean, the racist wide open, so you never know what's gonna happen. I thinks as long as you show up, you play, and do what you gotta do, good things are gonna happen. You know. My dad was a huge preacher of you know, hey, just go out there and work hard. And I'm the same way and everything I do. Go out there and work hard, do what you gotta do, and the Chips are gonna fall where you want them to fall, without a doubt. And I like what the boys are as well, because right

now we're with the two seeds. Yes, And you know, I had it both ways. I've had that number one seed where you get that first round by and then I've had the you know, lower seed where you gotta play through the wild card and go um. And I kind of like that wild card approach. I like, you know, going from straight from the end of the season to going straight into the playoffs. I like that style because when you had that bye week and and I had to hear what the Cowboys leave sixteen. We had that

bye week, we're rolling. The momentum just kind of dissipated as we took that bye week, and the next thing you know, Green Bay comes into town. They beat us, Aaron Rod just beat us, perfect, thank you, thank you. Okay, So he's excited because I go back to I go back to that. Okay, First off, that was a super Bowl team sixteen, yes, yeh, thirteen and three. That was a super Bowl team. And in in fact, then Quinn's team ended up going to Super Bowl because the Cowboys had

lost from the number one Sea. It felt like watching it in the press box that the Cowboys were not ready for that football game. Were green Bay got out to the big league and then of course in second half, all right, now here the Cowboys going. But it just felt like to me that that was where the game was lost because the team wasn't ready to go. Since you guys were there, you tell me, am I crazy. Now, I don't think you're crazy at all. One were we were a young team. I mean offensively, we were led

by rookie Dak and rookie Zeke out there. So we were a young team going into it, and we had that momentum going. We were playing playing, playing, playing plan boom, we take that break, and like I said earlier, kind of that momentum just kind of dissipated from us. And like you said, we started slow. We started extremely slow against Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers. They were ready for the game, they were prepared, and he went out to a twenty one three league early. Just like that. Now, the second

half turned around a little bit. You know, offense got their things going, defense finally picked it up and we were able to hold them the three points. I think was it three points or ten points. Ever was that whole second half. So we were rolling, but that first half we just started too slow. So that's why I like that approach to where you go straight from week seventeen, sixteen, whatever it is, straight to the wild card, and I

think that'd benefit this team coming up as well. So when that happens, Joe, what is it is that players? Is that coaching? How does that happen that you get this time off? You're the number one seed, You've been playing well all season long, and you're at home and you're down twenty one. I think it takes an effect on both the players and the coaches, you know, because if you think about a regular buye week, you know, you really kind of get into that relaxed mode. You

kind of got nothing on your mind. You're not thinking about football, and when you're when you're playing in the NFL, football has got to be on your mind all the time, you know. Even you know, I tell everybody now that I'm retired, you know, I tell everybody, even even if you're even if you're at home with your family, you're not really there because you're constantly thinking about what you got to do in the game. Checks all this stuff.

You know, football is just on your mind, and when you get that bye week, you kind of you relax, and you relax too much, and you kind of get that lax of daisical, you know, kind of feeling. You know, you're not around the guys in the locker room anymore, you're not talking ball. So I think that bye week definitely affects you. It definitely does. And I mean I've been a part of teams where we've had that bye

week a couple of times. You know. I remember, you know, when I played for San Francisco we went to the Super Bowl. You know, we had that bye week, and I mean it's you know, it's like a little mini offseason. Which super Bowl was that in San Francisco? That was the one that was the Baltimore Oh yeah, yeah. I was there at that game. Man. That was that's when they turned the lights on. Dude. It was lights went

out thereon. Dude, she stole it. Literally, I was. I was in the it was the Westwood one, NBC Sports Radio wise in their sweet the lights were not ducking. I was getting low, man. You see the players on the field, they were got low to man. That gotta scared you. Know what I mean, especially you know at a big event like that, everything going on in the world. That was scary. Man, that was scared. But that was that was a that was a fun week. That was a fun nick. That was a good game, man, And

didn't write the end. I man, that was that was I if they threw if they threw the flag on that on that final play, I just said, that's fine. Yeah, I wouldn't have complaining. It was they were both hand fighting and and yeah, that was a tough call right there. It was. It just seemed like it felt like defensively, that's flag. Yeah, and they didn't want to call a flag in the Super Bowl on the final play at

that moment. Yeah, but it was definitely did I watched it because I picked ball toward the win, but I thought, man, that was warranted. Yeah. It was all over him. He was grabbing, holding, hand fighting, they were, they were going

at it. But when we talked about, you know, these cowboys in that fort, have we ever had success with a first round because you think about a go if you go back to the Witning in Romo year, I think they were thirteen and three had that first round by I think it was twenty eleven or something like that, and York ended up coming up and beating them down. So I mean, you know, I'm a fan of just

playing it through. I feel like that momentum that was Waite Philips team, and then the other one was was Jason Garrett's and then so you really kind of have to go back into the Jimmy Johnson years where I remember that it was in the best regular season game I ever saw from EMMT Smith was against the Giants and they needed to win the game to secure the first round. By Emmett basically, you know, to our shoulder.

I remember that game. He kept on playing and was in Jimmy giving the ball and up and one of the things Jimmy said, we needed to get this win so we could go where we wanted to go, meaning we needed to buy get everybody rested up, and then get ourselves going to the super Bowl. But what listening to you guys is, hey, you can't treat it a playoff by week like a regular season by This is a work week. We just don't have to go play So we've got to treat it like a work week.

And and everybody got to under listening to you guys, gotta gotta gotta keep your head in it. Because I talked to one of the assistant coaches who said it was a sai it was a massive failure. He said, Man, we said that was just a massive failure. Said that was a super Bowl team. You don't get many thirteen and three teams in your lifetime, he said. He said, we failed on a lot of funds. And one of the things he was saw about his coaches like we we failed, um to get guys where where they needed

to be. Said, that was just too good of a football team to come out with that kind of effort. And um that I'm telling you, man, just just me. I was one of those like I'm not even playing and I was deflated because it was like, man, yeah it was. I was a hard loss. It was it was. It was so much good on that twenty sixteen It was so much good. And to see it in that way, Um, didn't watch the Packers the next week go down to Atlanta and basically die and get smacked. Yeah, it's like

that same that same throw Aaron Rodgers made to a cook. Yeah, the same one he made. You know, he dropped it, yea, And I was just like in the field goal that Crosby kicked at and it was like ding dingk think I just went in. It was just like oh man, yeah, I was on the field for that too, just watched it. Give us some of that, give us a little bit,

like just a little bit. Now, your hope is since Mike McCarthy was a part of that team, then a part of the Death's Catch, and then maybe Mike McCarthy Cowboys can get that mojo and and and carry it for for for the players, that's your hope. But he's got that experience out about that Dad's catch. Man, we got right McCarthy to rob does a lot man thick get up here in the players. Here's the thing I

keep saying to people about that. Okay, death catches the ball, they score, Aaron still getting the ball back he is, but we still got an hot though. And you know what happens when Aaron Rodgers gets the ball back gets the Cowboys. Everybody dies. This this this could have been amazing to start crime, but I would have wished it had the opportunity to at least see you play it out. At least you got you gotta go beat us. Yeah, yes, no,

beat us. Man, it's just I hate to harp on all the stuff, but man, the guy had it in his hands. It was it took two steps and reached forward. I mean, it's just, man, I mean, clearly it was a catch. Coach, it was. I mean it was it was. And and look, Mike, Mike, throw the flaight, you had to throw the I don't know, I don't And and for the NFL to to go ahead and change the round. But unfortunately they've done a lot of that. Yeah, we look at look at the Saints in that Rams game,

the inittually championship games. I mean, the league has come up with some Wait what we actually benefited from a from a crazy call that year when hitching, which you know what's funny you say that because I remember watching you know, they give it, they take it when it's when it's for you, though, I can't what a call that way to pick it up. Yes, so I'm in the press, who I get ready on they about the Lions are about to beat him, and so I'm going back, Okay,

this is gonna be. That's because the Lions to beat the Cowboys in nineteen ninety one. I'm like, okay, here for some reason, the Lions get the got the Cowboys number right right, and get ready to write my whole thing. And then you're saying that that was shot. I know what Zeke was in the past, and I know what he can bring to this, to this run game. But right now, these past couple of games, even when you know Tony Potter has come back from injury, I just seen that explosiveness.

I just seen that juice, that speed, and it catches my eye, you know, right or wrong, or you know, if he's just getting these these opportunities because defenses are breathing aside of relief because Zeke is in the game like all right, or Zeke's out of the game, like all right, though, we don't have to hit that guy anymore. And then that's how Tony Potter's taking off, whatever the case may be. I just see it with my eyes,

and this guy is just he's pulling me in. He's pulling me in, and every time he touches the rock, he has an opportunity to make an explosive play. So to me, I gotta go with TP. I still love Zeke, but to me, right now, Zig's more of three yards in the cloud of dust, and I'm loving with Pol's door CJ. This is what happens in the media when when people cover their own, they want to eat their own, almost sending it away. Who's the number one receiver, Ceedee

Lambs into Mario Cooper? How about you got two really good receivers out here, and okay, who's open and who's getting it done? They just go get it done? Right? out how. And really both are injured, so you're really it's really almost like, hey, can we just get together? Can you guys add up to one dude because they're both hurt. I don't think people are talking about that or understanding enough. This is where you guys coming because you play the game. It's December. Man, ain't nobody healthy, yeah, and everybody's nursing something. Should he be playing? It sounds like he shouldn't be playing, but he's playing because he

wants to be there for his team. I remember talking to Terence Newman one time, and Terence new was getting burnt at Corman. He was getting burnt CB. You remember this man. It was times man teeny was just getting burnt and people thought he was washed up. He wasn't any good well turned up man. And I think you want to make everybody happy as a football player. I think I think that's always you know, in the back of our minds. I think the ultimate goal is to win the game. But you want to make everybody happy. You want the fans to feel good, you want your family to feel good at the end

of the game. And it's tough to please everybody, it is, Okay, So here's my tweet, says, give me one word to describe today as Dallas Cowboys win over the Giants once person. When unsettling, when gritty, expected, improved, alarming, when defense strong,

emoji overrated, wow, uninspiring, underwhelming me this is December. Offense offensive wins unsatisfactory, crape, adequate, win, underwhelming, average, boring, sloppy, old expected defense, defense solid win, frustrating, average, nervous, boring, worrisome, boring. Sorry you got dubbed, though, I tell you this. This is your fan base. Defense dak ugly blood. I mean, this is this is what the fans responded on to a win over the Giants to get you to ten wins?

Like I do you think the Cleveland fan base would love that type of win right now? Like you know, like how about the Tampa Bay fan base would love it right now? Lost? It's not just lost to the things. Shut out. God wins out for the year, Leonard, for your top running basketball. This is one of two weeks. And this is what the Cowboy fan base is mad. Arizona. Tom Tom broke his little you know, his pad, you know,

sitting there watching. I was like, hey, you're gonna have to pay for that d He broke his Yeah, he broke his I thought he cussed out his own coach. But he went over to the Saint silent it said that, yeah, you ain't heard a word, man, I'm telling you heard a word, maccause there was somebody else Cam Newton's loser. I can't believe this guy would do such a thing.

What sportsmanship is that he went to the other sidelines man to address the Cowboys fans, you know, And I think with all the success that this organization has had, there's there's an expectation, but I think when you get to the point where you're not satisfied, I would have win as a fan, is that doesn't that kind of take the fun away from the game as a fan, because I know, you know, it's like, yeah, I was

growing up, I was a Dolphin fan. I was a Dolphin fan and I didn't you know, I'm sorry, I was. I got to see Dan Marino, I got you know, I was. I was a fan of the game, and I you know when when Miami when they won, you know, it wasn't wasn't about the points. You know, if they won Monday, I'm wearing my jersey. The jersey was a little snug. It was a little snug. You know, they had the old Rebok But you know, you you enjoy

the win and you're happy for the team. Man. But I know as a player, hey, I'm taking a win because, man, a win makes everything better. You come in the locker room, you could joke. I mean, it's just I mean, it's the floodgates are open at this point, even even you've been in there and on victory Monday's Garrett vision, it's better. You know, how he used to be there with the laser. I'm telling everything is better with a dub. You get

less Garrett vision. The meetings are much more relaxed. If you mess up on a play, it's just like, you know, hey, you gotta do this better church, you gotta do when you lose though, that play can last about five minutes. You know, that's that's funny you bring that up. Man. I always called that meeting the cookery and bring you in there and put you in the cooker. Boy. But you know what if you if you if you're on there and you mess up with you know, I was

a jokester of meetings. You know, it's always just like what coach you we want it can't be mad at me forever exactly exactly, man, Yeah, it's it's it's, you know, trying to please everybody. It's not gonna happen back if you win, enjoy it. Football is a fun sport for the players, fans, everybody involved. Have fun with it. Yeah, that's fun with it. There's two things I keep saying,

especially as I read this. Number one, you don't understand how other teams are going, you know, start to he mad the Cowboys and said we brought up We just brought up examples of other teams who didn't get into I mean, asked Tennessee right about now how they feel about their football team, just a team. It was rolling for a minute. He was considered to be a top Power five, top five team in the league. Right now he's spinning. Just just lost that a horrible loss to Pittsburgh.

The other thing I go to is people want it to be a straight line. Nah, he supposed to go crusherman. This is not Alabama football, this is not Ohio State. How many teams have been undefeated, one has done the gauntlet? Well, only one has been undefeated throughout the whole playoffs and regular season, the Patriots when sixteen, and then they lost the Super Bowl, which once again shows you it's not a straight line. That it's hard. Yes, it is an up and down type league. And and I actually Jerry

talked about it, Tenny. He said this, it's designed for you to be a five hundred team, the way the NFL saidup's designed for you to be five hundred. How do you figure out how to get those one, two, three, four wins over five hundred that take you where you want to go? It's hard and the Cowboys won three straight and as and kind of going back this year, Joe, as the Cowboys won games and if they weren't an

impressive went people knitpicking. They won in New Worlds and then we see what New Orleans has done in Tampa. They win in New England. Well, she won, you know, left a lot of points on the field. She won. You shouldn't have to go over there, but you won, and then you saw what New England became. That's the problem I think for Cowboy fans. It's you just it's not Alabama football. Man. You can run up here beat people at twenty points. Yeah, I mean what I don't know.

I don't keep up with a lot of stats, but I mean, what are what are the stats on you know, games being won by one score? You know, I mean that's basically the least. This is what you see every game. Yeah, just all right, how about this, Joe, This is what makes it better. Just go to the Las Vegas line, okay, because ain't nobody winning more money. I'm taking people more money to baba. Okay. So the Vegas rarely has lines that are over ten. You know that there are seven plus.

It's rare. It's rare okay, and the Cowboys were ten and a half point favorites. They won twenty one to six. But people don't like the style. And yes, there are there are things, and I'm not trying to be being mister positive all the way to say offensively, they got some stuff to work they definitely. You tell me right now in this league outside Green Bay, who doesn't have some things they're trying to work on right now? Yeah,

imagine everybody everybody got warts. There's nobody right now to say even Green Bay defensive leader right now looking like hold up, we place. Everybody's got a little bit of something here. So um yeah, fans just enjoy, enjoy Pollard and enjoy Zeke. Just hope that they can start to get this thing turned around. Here they are. And I wasn't the head coach. I was an assistant, you know, the head coach, and I just wanted to go out there because he's I mean, these five year olds are all over the place boys. I mean, you know you're trying to, you know, teach them how to pull the flag, and they're like dragonfly. It's gotta be tough to wrangler men. Man, Come on, get that. You gotta gotta pull the flag, you know. And then you remind yourself, you know what, they're five years old. I

don't want to play this anymore. I can't do it. I don't do it. Yeah. I watch my daughters play a little bit, and I'm just like, no, why I tried to coach a team one year? I gotta go for it. Well, the problem with her coaches, you knew you were gonna get sucked in eventually. So while I didn't have to go coach because I had to work. I gotta work. But of course I found myself I gotta go home and get the balls, because she got the balls. I gotta get the money to pay the referee.

I gotta go get snacks there and do other stuffy slices. Sweetie, I was qul got your coffee. I got your coffee here? What did you forget? So why don't you go? Because it takes separate cars. I had to go home, so yeah, no, I know this to do that, And then had to take the other one to a game, and then she was scared of the soccer ball that wanted to hit her. Why are we here? I here? You don't have to

do this' gonna waste no money like this wasting up? Yeah, mane, I get my kids, get my kids out of sports. I got one left I got to get. Luckily, I got the first two are gone. Oldest one tried to talk about doing some club volleyball. So, so my wife's in California. She understand what club volleyball means in Texas. I was like, okay, so you need by five to

seven thousand dollars. Okay, And I said, because it's a false ward, I said, you'll be in Sugarland, Texas on weekends, or you been up in Oklahoma, or maybe you're gonna be out Abilene and maybe out of Louis. I said, but it's gonna be you because I gotta work. Yeah, gets you ready to trap? It's all day, okay, the volleyball is turned all day and and it's like, you don't understand this commitment in. These coaches are trying to wrangle these kids in. I mean, you know this five

year old flag team. They had a full combine for these kids, short shuttles forty at all. The draft again about this, there's a whole draft for these kids foot football. So Frisco does like a combine and then all the coaches come out and watch the kids. And that's draft because they don't want to load every team with it, like one team has like all the good kids on it. So these are five year olds. Five year olds, I'm not kidding. I mean it is serious. Now, I'll say this,

that's that's not uncommon. When I played baseball, Um, if fort brag we had that, we had to we had to combine, right, you ran to forty, you hit, you caught yourself. So they had that because you don't want to have all the They had that kids. Yeah, one who can throw the ball and the coaches will make trade wants you know, and then you know, all all the dads and parents are coaching, knowing I get some

information every now and then. You know, all the people were very kind and whatnot out there, but you know they're holding these kids on the same team. You know, it's like, man, these kids are out here bawling. I mean, God, bless our team. You know we played We played the Cowboys first, the first play, the first game of the season in this flag football league. I'm sorry I get long winded on here, but I mean they had cheerleaders, they had the you know, the thing you run out

of the inflatable. I mean it was I'm sitting here like you know, and we're just sick looking at our kids. You know, they're they're throwing rocks in the creek on the side. Hey, guys inside to play. Joe was telling us what I tell this, these places to replay. The rich kids. They they had them starting and now they bust them way from Highland. They bust them from Highland Park. Out here was the check a bur Certificates team. Kids. It looks like me out there ain't drinking. They're gonna

get the good though. What's the Muscleville pre work out? They shift out there, like what is going on about to get y'all the work pre snap motions and all the time shout out to South oak Cliff football man for the state. What is the first one? Yeah? I was able to go to the game out there at at and T Stadium, So they're technically they're telling you the first since fifty eight. But I thought, what's they won eighty or something in nineteen eighty eight the Red

Dallas Carter. Yeah, alas Carter won and Jesse Armstead was a part of the team. And then you know, months later, on a technicality some grade from a teacher, they took it away. It's kind of like they're trying to make you say, you know, I didn't see Reggie Reggie Bush when the highestman and I didn't see that because they already won. The game was already won, Right, That's that's you know that? Yeah? Yeah, so that's what they the whole Uh check it out on ESPNA thirty for thirty

on it. Okay, Jock Taylor's a part of it. They interviewed him because he had covered that team and so and then one of my one of my buddies went to high school. I think he was on that team or he or he went to Carter, I can't remember which, but he knew a lot about it. That's how I had known about it. But it was dirty. Man. Greg Allis did a movie on the Diallas Carter team, Cowboy. Greg I did not see. I did not see it,

but he did an actual emotion picture. But it's just, yeah, I'm just end of the day, just how can we take something away from these kids because we dined like these kids. These kids worked humble and it was like that giving folks that work and making him take it. Boy, but they look nice. Coach, they big, they fast, they big. They said that already. But when you can't see, that's

my thing. You can't see, can't you know? Oh? Oh, I never saw the fat five we took were gonna take these two final four banners that no, no, bro. We saw him play Duke and Caroline in the finals. We saw that. You can't make me unsee. Oh, they weren't there, Like okay, um offensive line here, Joe. There's a whole bunch of rotations going on of shuffling guys

back and forth. You've got Washington, Arizona in Philly. Now, what does Joe Philbin need to be doing with this offensive mind to get this thing where it needs to be come playoff time, and do you rest Tiring Smith against Washington depending on how what goes on tonight, well I think I definitely think you know, if if, if you have an opportunity to allow Tiring to get healthy, you gotta let him get healthy, because he I mean he, I mean, he's one of the best players in the

league of his position. I mean, he is a monster out there on the field. So if you got a chance to let Tyring get some rest, you're gonna need him, you know, get get him everything he needs to, you know, show up in games that are gonna, you know, really mean something to the football team. As far as the rotation, I've always founded as an offensive lineman, you gotta you gotta put five guys out there and trust them and one if you if you if you, if you take

guys out, put guys in. That does a lot to a player's confidence. And on the offensive line, a lot of what you do is about having confidence. I know when I when I started that twenty eighteen season, Travis Frederick said something to me that, you know, really changed my mindset on you know, being a starter. He said, you know, ninety percent of it is just confidence, Joe. Just you know, be confident in yourself and go out

there and play. But when you get when you get when you're being rotated or you're being you know, pulled out of your starting role, that hurts you as a player. That can that can you know, hurt your confidence. So I definitely think it's important that coach Philbin finds, you know, five guys that he's like, hey, these are my these are my guys, and they're gonna go out there and play for me. And it's great to get everybody experience and whatnot. I'm not down playing any of that. It's

wonderful to get guys live reps when you can. If you're up in a game and you can get players in there and get them reps. You gotta get reps because I think, as we know, the only way to get better at playing in the NFL as by plane. You gotta be out there plan but as the offensive line goes, you need five guys out there consistently playing with one another because that's the group on the team that's you know, you gotta be all on the same page at one time, or things could really it could

really get out of hand. So you definitely pick those five guys and put them out there and go play. Can I ask you a quick question, Is it hard to go like how you've seen Steel how they got them going right tackle, left tackle, right tackle? Is it hard to go back and forth with those positions? Oh? Yeah, okay, yeah, it's because I mean it completely changes your techniques, you know. I mean, if you're if you're kicksliding on your your right leg versus your left leg, you know, it completely

changes what you're doing. I don't as a backup. You know, when when you get thrown into the fire, you know, run game, you're gonna always be there in a run game. I think all offensive linemen in the NFL would be be good in the run game. You know, as an offensive line, you have this mentality, you have this grinded out mentality when you run the ball just you know,

destroy the man in front of me. But when it comes to the technical aspect of the game and you get into your set and whoever's across from that ball from you, it's it's a lot. You know, you're asking you're asking a guy a lot, you know, from going from right tackle, left tackle, left guard, right guard, center, or anywhere in between. So it's definitely something that you don't take lightly because these techniques they're there, they are

they are so homed in. You know, it's one of it's one of the positions where it's it's it's it's so technical. But you look at a guy like Tyre Smith. I mean, you know, the NFL's hard, but he makes it look easy. He makes it look easy. You know, he gets those those big paws on you and I love as you know, his elbow, the big elbow breaks out there. It looks like the terminator. Yes, six six, you know, got a six pack. I want to abe.

I mean he's rocked up there. Yeah, So you know, if you can, definitely, you know, have have have him out there, and you know, get your guys out there and Zach Martin out there lyle get these guys playing with each other and get them ready for the playoffs

to go make a run for that trophy. It's just gonna be interesting because do you try how how much do you maybe save tiring for the Arizona game or you know, or do you rest in the rest of the regular season, so you've got him ready to go, and obviously we don't know the extent of where he is with the ankle because he's missed three games beforehand, and so is it's gonna be enough three four games? But that means you're gonna have Steal and Secy going

here at the left and then um Collins on the right. Yeah. So so it's it's it may not be as simple as just trying to say, hey, here's our five right now. It depends on hey, what's what's the health, but it's it's a challenge, It definitely is. And I want to give a shout out to you know, see Will color Wood. Yeah, it stepped up. I mean yeah, you know that's a that's a that's a tough position to be in as a player, you know, yeah, I mean contract, that's a

tough position to be in. Man. And I know Connor. Connor is a great dude. I mean, he has his faith at the end of the day, and I know he knows whether it's football or whatever he's doing, he's gonna be great at it. But I mean that that mentality, you know, to to to be taken off the field and then put back in and still be expected to play at that high level. That's tough. Yeah, that's tough to do. So I definitely gotta, you know, give a

shout out to my harmy man for that. He he really showed you know, his mental his mental toughness, you know, in the game. And I think that's what that's the big change, you know, from the game back then till now. You know, it's the it's the it's the mental aspect you know of the game. Yeah, real quickly, I know we're running running a little long, but how do you feel the handling of you know, Terrence Steele, was that

right or wrong? Seeing as though you know, Lyle was suspended to five games, he still came in there, performed well at the right tackle, pretty much solidified his spot there. But then when things started, you know, injury started happening and all that stuff, they moved in the left tackle. That's why I asked you was it hard to go right tackle the left tackle because he strugged at the left tackle spot. And when he struggled there, Collins came

at the right side. And now it's you know Colin spot and T Smith spot on the left and now T Steal is just you know, he's a swing tackle. Now, how do you feel they handled that whole process? Yeah, I think he can't replace the Lyle Collins. You know, if Lyle Collins is ready to play, you know, unfortunately he did have the incident off the field. But if this man is ready to play and he's ready to go, put him in the game. Man. I mean you can obviously. I mean Lyle the way I can describe his play,

I mean, he's a bully out there. You've seen the Mighty Ducks. Remember the Mighty Ducks. You got those, you know, I mean, you know him and Zach, you know, together, that's what they remind me of. Looking at them play man, and when they're playing together and they're they're out there, I mean, dude, they're out there crushing guys. You gotta gotta have the bad guys. Okay, So now you and and mc craig can put it to rest. We got the we got the perspective of an offensive land guy,

and truly he played the positions. I gotta go with him. I gotta go with him. He played the positions. End it right right there, You're good, right there? Now we know we put it to rest.
