Sam Howe will start for the Washington Commanders. If you don't know who Sam Howell is played at the University of North Carolina from Mac Brown. Good player, drafted late, didn't have as many weapons as the year before, like Javonte Williams. But this is a guy. When I look at them, I say, that's who you should be developing,

more so than Taylor Heineken. But if you're the Cowboys, you feel real good about this one. So the commanders are giving up Cowboy and you gonn handle business. So now it's all about Jalen Hurts and the Giants. The Giants gonna play their guys out there is the MVP. Jaylor Hurts should be the MVP. By the Waygar team he should be the MVP. Is he playing? What we're gonna do? I don't know. Danniel mccraig. What is your on your wish list of things? Your scenario, perfect scenario?

How you get up, let's say Sunday around seven, after you're done taking your nap. How does this work out for my perfect scenario? Honestly, my perfect scenario is Cowboys end up with a first round by they winned the Vision, and we get a home game like that is my dream scenario. When I'm being realistic about the situation and where we currently sit, I don't believe that can happen. If I believe that if Jalen Hurts does play against the Giants and the likelihood of the Giants beating the Eagles,

it drops dramatically. So we need to find out what's happening with that. Do I believe that we should go out there and we should beat Washington. Yes, do I believe this is another potential for the sleepwalking Dallas Cowboys to go in here against a quarterback who you expect to be getting a lot of pressure on and force some mistakes and then not have that happen. I hope that is not the case, but for the last few weeks that has been the case. Davis Mills Gardner, Minshew Dobbs.

These are all quarterbacks who you when you're looking at the skips where you say, if these are the quarterbacks for the opposing starting team, we should come in here and dominate these guys. We haven't done it, so I don't care who to watch the quarterback is. We need to make sure that we show up and get ready to play and really call some havoc. Our defensive secondary needs to show up and take away the ball and lock some guys down. And we need to get some sacks,

not just quarterback pressure. We need to get some sacks so we can really have some people nervous when they say, hey, man, the Cowboys or the team we have to play next week. Yea, and I completely agree with you, man, all jokes aside. I think that the defensive end of the ball is where you really want to see guys start to turn it over the last couple of weeks, as you stated, some of those yards are just unacceptable, especially the ones when you go back to Gardner Misshu three fifty five.

That raises as much as we talk about how much we beat them by, they did score thirty four points regardless, all right, And so looking at this, looking at the Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles game, he was already beating forty eight twenty two, you know, So that's really not a lot to go off of. Based off of the way that the way that they played last time. I just feel like day Bold and the Giants feel as though they are a team team of destiny right now.

They really kind of got that feeling and remind me of that Eli Manning year when they won the Super Bowl. When they win in they've been getting destroyed all year, if the nine and seven, and then they go in and just right at the last minute they start to get hot. They have a defense that's similar to that.

I'm not calling none of those guys straight hands are human euro but they do have a serviceable enough defense where if they can go into the playoffs hot or off of a near win or something like that that's gonna catapult that Giants team that really has a favorable matchup versus the Vikings in the first round. I think everybody what you don't think, you don't think, you don't think they're excited about going to Minnesota. I wouldn't. I

wouldn't have said favorable. But I think I think it's they feel like they can compete of all the teams, of all the teams in the NFC right now with question marks on their back. When you say that the Minnesota Vikings has the biggest question mark on their back back going into the playoffs, Let's say I think everybody's all open arms about green Bay being hot. I just I don't. I don't. I'm not really sure about the

Green Bay team or Seattle. I see what you're saying, and I go back to last year and just how it ended up that what we think we know, we really don't know. Um, you couldn't have taught me. I'm glad I don't bet because I'd have put a whole lot of cash on Kansas City beating Cincinnati to go ahead and going to the Super Bowl. I would have bet money that number one seed Tennessee was gonna handle Cincinnati and it didn't happen like that? What about Green Bay?

About San franc going up to green Bay? True, you couldn't have told me that that Tom Brady was gonna lose Matt Stafford at home. Um, but they did. So when we think about what's favorable, what's this? Man was come to these playoffs? Now? I don't know anymore? Man, I don't know, because my kid asked me to day that who thinks on supers? I don't know. I said the start of the year, I picked Buffalo Bills to

win it all. I don't know anymore, because, man, the NFL playoffs have just become as unpredictable as I remember. McCarthy had a fifteen and one foot football team that had won the Super Bowl a year for man, heck, gout have lost my mortgage payment because God said minute packers and got beat at home and let the lambo. You don't. I don't know. So so to sit up here and say, hey, the Giants got a favored match

up missile, I don't know. Maybe they maybe, you know, maybe Kurt May, they you know, maybe get a daytime game or maybe it'll sat. You know, when Kirk Cousins play, I don't know, you know what, they may hook him up, like, man, let's not making it at night. Let's hook him up. I mean, so so we'll see man. But no, y'all call it what it is. I mean, you have to look at this team for what it is. I mean, being realistic about the Minnesota Vikings. They're playing bad football

right now. Kirk Cousins is a turnover machine. He's not the yards and all of that, really, and it's not so much even him. He's a culprit. He's a usual suspect in this thing. But their defense is playing horrible right now. And even with all the guys that they have, the maybe Patrick Peterson, you know, perennial Hall of Famer and all of that stuff. Man, the way that Green Bay went in there and handled their business first them again, very efficient play from Aaron Rodgers, but it's Aaron Jones

for me. It's just and I turn around and I look at the Giants and I look at Sae Kwon Barkley, and I mean even though their offensive line, I mean, these guys out mowing people down, but they do have an offensive line show to me again, the Giants are team that if they get the confidence and the point that I was the only point that I was trying to make is going in and getting a victory versus Philadelphia could be what they need to go into Minnesota and beat the brakes off of the vibe momentum, the

kind of bone playoff momentum. Yes, and I'm gonna say this, Minnesota is one of those teams, just like a lot of these quarterbacks that garniamenth you got that we talk about around Fitzpatrick gut to where you can't judge them based off their last performance because Minnesota has been one of the most inconsistent teams. One week they go out there and get the breaks blown off of them, and then the next week they come out he looked like world beaters. You just have no idea which Minnesota team

is gonna show up. You can get a great Dolphin cook in the day, a great Justin Jefferson one week, and then they can go play Green Bay Packers and Justin Jefferson can have three just for Harry, but you or they're mixing kJ Osborne and the next next game they don't. So I'm you know, playoff game. Let's see what happens. I remember the year Sean Payton Saints won

the Super Bowl. Their last two games weren't good. They go into the playoffs, that Saints did not look like they're about to get on this, get on a role to go win this thing, and they did. Especially you think about how good that Indianapolis team was. Now year, weren't they like thirteen and old towards the end and talking about whether or not they were gonna go try to win it all? And then they decided to lose again? Did um go play? Man? That's that? I mean, I

am now of this just problem. I'm now in that mindset. Now, let's just see. We don't know. Man. You couldn't have told me the Cowboys that year, that Dak's first year. You could have told me they wouldn't have We're going to go lose to Green Bay at home, after having you know, to you know, getting the number one seed, getting themselves rested, ready to go. I don't know anymore. And that Minnesota so quirky heck that they could go out here and beat the brakes off the Giants. But

they're so quirky they could lose. They don't lose, So I don't, I don't. I mean, this is a of all the playoff teams, especially in the NFC. Right now, I can't call them, and I can't call Tampa Bay. You can't call Tampa Bay because it's Tom Brady. All you need is sixty minutes of belief and next thing you know, you're walking you Cincinnati Bengals, You're walking on here. Nobody thought you you could get there. So so, Danny,

I mean, I love what you said about. Obviously, the first round by first round, by first place in the division would be awesome, right Uh, Currently the scenario probably doesn't lead you to that, right Uh. In worst case scenario or whatever, you win the division, you may end up coming out and having to play Green Bay in a game at home. The way that the seed seeds up right now, when you guys look at the seeding, are you saying to yourself, what's the when you if

we get this game first, then what's for you? Your dream scenario for the Dallas Cowboys going into the playoffs, Seattle, the Seahawks, Seattle, let's see, I will come on down to Dallas so that somebody we get the two seed. Is that a two seed for US. Man, look, I want a team who doesn't who can't run the ball, who doesn't specialize in running the ball, and out of the quarterbacks on that list, I'm I'm picking Geno spectic

goal against and he's having a good season. Yeah, the quarterbacks on that list of guys who I think that that we have a better chance of disrupting and making some plays against, I'm picking Gino. Matchups do matter. I remember the year when the Mavericks and went to the twenty eleven NBA Finals here, they had some matchups that on paper didn't look favorable. But once the game started and they blew out the Lakers and we'll beat them

in four, people thought Portland gonna you know so? So sometimes you know it is it becomes the matchups and in the draw you're able to get um. So, man, I don't want to see Niners. No, that's that's the one that right now, No, go go get me filled up. That's the one team you want to see get knocked out. Okay, quick as you can that maybe rock rock Purdy turns into tur turty. That's what you need because this team against that team don't like it. And I don't care.

If they could talk about we're gonna revenge from last year, I will want no parts of the forty nine ers. You don't want no running a team that can run the ball like ball, don't bring them here and play defense like that. And I don't think I've even considered your scenario based off of the fact that I'm still waiting to see if Seattle Call win their game, because all of this could be moved if they they and

then yeah, exactly, so there's so many other things. My only thinking has been if we sit currently at the five spot, have to go into Tampa. To me, I think this is a team that can go if they see Tampa again, they could beat Tampa again. They could beat them at home. And with all of the time, you know it's gonna be talking about oh Jo, you know, Toma Brady's Bookieyman and all of that. You know, there's a there's another scenario that says you go and play

Green Bay. You know that's again, these are two Asian quarterbacks that don't and one that doesn't have a perfect playoff record, and in Aaron Rodgers, I think it's setting it's setting itself self up for the Dallas Cowboys to get that first round playoff win that we wanted them to get. Where they go after that? You know, really I don't know, And that's why I was asking the question, what's the dream scenario of who would you? You know,

how do you see this road playing out? Look, you tell Aaron Rodgers talking about Tom Brady, talk about two We know how the story ends for the Cowboys. Everybody dies in the end with those two quarterbacks. So I don't know. Necessarily enough one is going to be better than the other because they've caused you problems. And then as far as the first round win, it's not the wh it's not the wildcard win. It's the divisional round

that they can't get up. So then winning a playoff game is at this point in time, fans are expecting that. McCarthy's staff knows what the expectation is. It's winning your wildcard game if you happen to play in the wildcard game, but it's winning your division game. You win your division game, then that puts you in the NSC Championship. People are expecting and they're wanting you to get to get there.

I think that's the only at least in my opinion, that's what the fan base is looking for, as this is what we need. I want to make my position clear on this. I don't want to play a team that can run the ball. So when you talk about Tampa Bay or Green Bay, Green Baker run the ball. And they've been running the ball, and they've been physical, and that's been helping Aaron Rodgers in their defense. A J. Dillon is a man out there. You just said it's Aaron Jones for me. Yeah, they can run the ball.

That's a team. He's not hurt though he's the last two weeks he's been team did he was rocking. He was rocking last game, No. One hundred yards. But still he's not He's not. He was healthier winning the Cowboys. Oh yeah. But I'm just talking about people who focus on the running game, because that that is our Achilles Hill to me. San Francisco came in here last last year and not just us, they also did the same

thing to Green Bay. They went up there as a team who could play defensive, run the ball, and they shocked him. Yeah, that's that's not what I want to see. Like, we know that we all have been struggling against teams that are able to run the ball. And it'd be a different thing if that scenario was was avoidable, but it really is unavoidable. You're gonna run into that scenario one way or another, whether it be in the second round. You may have a situation where you come up against

I'm just talking about game one. How do you want to get started, Like, what type of momentum we want to build? Something you want to play? He might not make it out the first round. the NFC East. Well you're okay, here's another problem. The owner wanted Dwayne Haskins, Okay, out of a Yo state. He was from DC. This is what the owner wanted, and so you draft him, not the guy they wanted. So the next year you got the second pick in the draft, and instead of taking Justin Herbert because the owner wants Haskins to play and Ron River has to play Haskins, you take Chase Young from Ohio State, who's been hurt. I mean, they were thinking Chase Young was

going to be Michael Parsons. That's what that was. The expectations for this guy. Everything that you see from Mica. They thought they were getting to Chase Young, and maybe one day they will, but so far they have not. And that's that's been a problem in terms of the owner wanting to dictate who's drafted. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it does. Matt Rule overruled his owner in Carolina who wanted Justin Fields. He took jac Horn. Matt Rules

now coaching at the breast. So what do you do when the owner wants to be in here to say this is what I want. Sometimes you get Lucky. The owner wanted Jenny Johnny Manzel here the sun and Will mcclayson. I don't think you wanna do the hold all player. I don't think you wanna do that. Also, and the biggest thing for me to see right now, let's just call it call it out, Dak, don't turn the ball over. Dak, don't turn the ball over. And because that is going to be to me, the one thing that we have started to realize that we'll get you out of the playoffs quicker than anything. Are

those are those turnovers and we can't have it. So back on the capitalizing what you just said. While we've seen the picks hendershot doesn't catch the ball and it gets and it's it's one of those instances where all right, man, yeah, the interceptions are thrown, but how many of these are on the quarterback versus guys not securing the football and that becomes a problem. So the expectation for us is that he does it because we've seen him be able to perform at that level before. It ain't no shot at dad is Hey man, we know you can protect the ball. In order for us to get deep in the playoffs and possibly compete for a Super Bowl, we need you to protect the ball. And it starts with with you. You are the person who touches the ball.

They ain't near every snap, so we need you to protect the ball. I can't argue with that. And you're going out of Tampa Bay. And if you're up here giving away an extra possession to a Tom Brady, then that's that you're asking to get beat. Yeah, you're asking to get beat. But yeah, it's it's there's areas that they've got to clean up. Tennessee. Wasn't a clean game that whole AFC South Classic, and I thought was be didn't turn out it was not. It was not good.

The fact of somebody game, he's not even been available that they've said, don't man, take a seat, man, grab grab grab a T shirt or a sweatshirt. Um, that's a problem.

That's a problem. And he his offseason is going to be big. Do you do what Tear Steel did, who had that rough rookie year, put in all that work in the waiting room, got better, ended up becoming a starter in year two and has a bright future in this league. I'm gonna be very interested to see what does Jalen Tolbert do. comes back. I expect him to be playing right tackle. You got to. We can see we've been seeing him play right right town and it's not the same as him a left tap. I don't.
