week vers San Francisco was not an admiration. It was the fact that Shanahan they know each other. He had that man figured out. playing from behind. Okay, okay, all right, And in that case, you're going to have to get out of this conservative game plan that you've had with Cooper Rush. Right now, if you just look at the numbers, they're not I mean, come on, dog with at this point in the season. Last year, Dog, we were top five and scoring top five yards all that. Right now we are bottom of

the NFL, and nobody's talking about that. Why everybody's talking about, Oh, Cooper Rushes, you could take decks all this This offense is being dumbed all the way down to fit what his skill is. And so when you go to let's just say, Sirianni and Philly, if we're not up by twenty by the time we get off the plane and you find yourself in a shootout with Philly, you're going

to have to allow Rush to stretch the field. And whether that be taken with the middle the outside, you're gonna have to come up with something better than going backing up twenty seven passes, two hundred and twenty yards, passing one touchdown. That's not gonna fit in the NFL. And week after week after week, y'all two no better than anybody wants the tape, get out on your dog. They gonna take away. They're gonna start taking away right now.

This defense, this defense isn't as fortified as we think it is. Teams are starting to find little week spots. Say it, Danny, come on, say it now. You sound bro, you sound like killing Moore. Okay, you may like killing Moore. Here's this, and then all of a sudden we revert back to where we were there previously. We get down, and all of a sudden we gotta stress the field and lose, lose the fact that our defense has been carrying us for the first part of the season. That

makes no sense to get down by twenty one. I understand you got to start making some changes. You're sitting down there about ten at halftime. That ain't what I'm talking about. That's not what I'm talking about. That no, no, no, So that's why I ask you to define. And then you said, if we're behind, we need if we're getting

blown out, of course you gotta air it out. But if you're playing down ten fourteen points and ain't the old reason for you to go away from what's been working for you for the for the last three weeks. So quarter down by two scores, what he's doing, you just keep running the ball at the beginning of the four quart depend on hard running game. Look, depend on what our defense looks like. Is it fourteen zero? Is

it fourteen like? What does it look like? And when we say air it out, yeah, take your shots based off your play action. Don't get out there in five wide, don't get out there in four wide, and then start playing that type of Boys and State ball still predicated off the run and take your shots when you get it. When you get it, show you agree with me, You agree with what I'm saying. I'm telling you it's a

situational awareness. It's going to have to dictate that at some point, Cooper Russia is gonna have to win you a ball game if you're behind. So that's what I'm talking. We saw that with our own as Luckily they got called back from penalties and they were able to be able to overcome that.

But if you let this guy go out there thinking he can just pass the ball over all over the yard, it's just not gonna work. And I think they're gonna continue that run dominant and then back it up with his play action, because we saw they Randy with thirty two times last week, and it wasn't the amount of yards at the game, it was the keeping in Washington's offer or defense. Are honest out there. If they can continue to do that, they might have some success. But

Let's not act like this man isn't a quote unquote genius as well on the other side on the offense. So if Rush has to put up points right now, he has a conservative game plan that's in front of him each and every week, they're dumb it. They're pulling things back to

fit his strengths. Well, what if the curtains pulled down and hey man, you're in a shootout and this guy has to go out there and win the game. Do you feel like he could do it? Knew it, He's already done it. Ain't okay? When did he do it?

When he when he's been asked to when the defense, like the defense has been putting them in position to have to go down there and make a play at the end of the game to make sure that we're position to get that game, win the score FIRSTINAI no, no, And I'm saying that's the game that you're talking about, not even a shootout. That wasn't the game. Get down there, kick a bunch of field goal last game and then then we get in position then he get us in

position to let my hurt kick that field go. Because if that's tom Brady doing that, it's like, oh you get him all the tom Brady with too much time, but he got him in position to kick a field goal. So now that it's Cooper wrestlers not to late for me saying basically, we don't have a run game. Were down two scores, can Cooper rush battle us back and go ahead and get the can we rely on that man's arm to be able to be productive and get this offense and get this team where it needs to be.

I don't have a run game at all. I think we can as long as you don't take unnecessary risk because what can this defense do? Get sacks, forced turnovers? So why would you then go opposite of what you've been doing taking all these crazy risks when you know that the offense is not the only people that can keep you in the game or get you back into it.

The defense can do it as well. But if you go out there running rough shot and start throwing pick six after pick six, then you're done, done that that ruins it for you. So you still got to play to your strengths and then hey, man defense. We got to go out there and make a play. You know how many times we go out there and say, man, hey, it's on us, but you gotta figure two scores. I mean they do they do on a defense dirty. I don't. I don't think two scores are insurmountable because you can

score two scores really quickly. We've seen it. We've done it. They got on side kitchens. You can figure out a way to get that done. If you're sitting down by twenty one at halftime, then you may have an issue even though you still got some time. Two scores to me is not insurmountable. You can still stick to your game plan. We see it each and every week. Can do that. He can believe that killing Moore if he

does it correctly. He can figure out a way to get these guys the ball and allowing them the opportunity to go score. Ceedee Lamb with the ball in his hands can get you a score. Michael Gallup stretches the field. That is his specialty. Stretch the field. Cooper rust can take a shot down there, and Michael got could make a play. Yeah, I believe he can do that. And I'm not saying he gonna go through the fifteen points.

So if he needs to, we can. So the Rams know right now offensively that they got a defense coming up to so Far Stadium that's gonna put a pressure on them, all right. Uh, Matthew, they know Safford knows that he can't birth the baby. All right, He's gonna have to get off the ball because we're number one in pressures. Uh what number two in sacks in the league. He knew that last week versus a team, a divisional opponent, all right, and you saw what happened to them last week.

They got there was a bunch of sacks. This game will be easy for us in that way. All right. If we go up there, we get seven sacks, I think we come home with the w. But let's just say they fortified and they fix some of the problems that they have and they find a weakness in our defense. That's that's the only we're throwing out hypotheticals. The game hadn't been played yet. I believe that our defense is gonna go up there and beat the brakes off of them.

But say they don't. And so for all the whispers about Cooper Rush unseating Dac and all of this, and that we hadn't seen him actually have to be that dude to being a bee from play from behind and score multiple scores to win the game. I just we hadn't seen it yet. So that's let Rush cook, Knui take our first break. Those are those, those are those are two separate things. Let Rush cook, and then he has to do something to get us back, and he

gonna have to cook to get us back. Everything he gonna have the cook to get us back we do. I just want to disagree with me, but it's all good on here every day, take our first break, come back. And if it feels like the season is just now starting, there aren't any dominated, dominant teams out here. And I think y'all agree, man, most most of the time, defense is gonna lead the season.

Offense comes on later. Right, And so as much as we think some of these teams are so dynamic and so good, you know the other you know now you're seeing hey, man, you know they may not be as good as you think they are. Right, So, I think the more that the Cowboys can get these victories, especially key victories, in the next two weeks, they'll start going up. We got one dominant team. How many undefeated teams in the league. He can't fix himself to see it. I

mean right, you know right now too. Yeah, they are dominant teams. They dominated. Man, I'm not gonna take nothing away from them. I think we're gonna hold her own against them, and we have a good chance to win. But right now they are four though they're doing anything. Man, both sides of the we won't say the name. We don't say the name people we know. I give respect with respect. So Philly is the only team in the NFC and the NFL that's undefeated right now. As far

as three and one records, which the Cowboys have right now. Um, other three and one teams Giants who the Cowboys defeated, Minnesota and Green Bay are both tied a top of the North. They're three and one. Then you, um, that's it and comes three one team. Everyone else is at leads two and two or worse in the NFC. So I put Minnesota above him, above Cowboys. Right now, you're playing in this year and it's a prime time because Kirk, it's always it's always, it's always pretty key. Don't catch

him on that noon game. Don't catch him in the noon game, I'll say right now, or as we saw the nine thirty game last week. You know, he's a morning guy. He's a morning guy. So, um, I look at the rankings right now and they say, okay, that's that's fair. Um. We know what it will change when Dak Prescott comes back because they'll look at this team differently. Everyone will look at the Cowboys differently when Dak Prescott comes back. So right now time, well, I look at it.

There's a lot of a lot of football to go, but right now, I'll be honest, when I filled out my schedule, fill up a little sheet this year, I did not have three and one coming out of the first month of the year. And they are. And that's a testament to this team and the coaching staff that

they're three and one with a backup quarterback. But you probably couldn't see this defense being as dominant as they are either, you know, and so well, if you thought they were going to be as dominant as they are right now, then you know you probably have should have picked them to be three and one at this point in time in the season with the Tyrant Smith going down, and then you took about putting Tyler Smith left guard, and he hadn't done it. No, I did not have confidence.

And then what I saw from a receiving staff, there were too many question marks for me about the offense and added to the fact I didn't trust the offensive coordinator. So no, I did not. So you were more on the side of one and three, then then three and one, two and two. By this point I had him starting

owing two. So they would have lost the Tampa and Cincinnati per you, and then won the two NFC East camps, all right, and so then basically before the season started you would have had them losing to the Rams as well, right, yes, okay, all right, so two and three at this point, so ill the one and three, two and three, whatever whatever I have, you ain't the same. It ain't. This is what. This is what dak Prescott, because I had them to it two too, you know, So I mean it is

what it is. And you know I felt about the defense. You couldn't tell me the defense. It was never about the defense. We you know, we thought the defense would be really good, especially in year two. My question was Jerry had taken there were so many things he took away from the offense, and then here comes Tyrant Smith. Then here comes the guy you gonna put a left tackle who hadn't played it all through training camp. Then you got kell still rolling right. Then you got Kellen Moore,

who I don't trust. Leak stop coming in this No, I didn't. So so remove the unknown down to the known of what you know about this team. BC. You go into this LA, you're into this Rams game, in the Philly game. Your confidence level now from whatever you wrote down preseason, how you feel I think they can

split now? No, now I think they can split. Um, I think they'll get a victory in one of these games, and then I feel like one of likely Philadelphia is gonna take take that dub in that first one, because it's gonna be in Philadelphia. We all know it's tough to play up there. So I think, don't split these next to them outside, Yeah, I think it's slit these next to them. You had a four at Oh, I had them, you had them four and ols. No. No, I thought we would lose. I thought we would definitely

lose the Cincinnati. I thought that Cincinnati with Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase. Yeah, I saw that being a game that was gonna be difficult for us because I think Cincinnati big playability was there. I thought we would be Tampa. I didn't. That surprised me for sure, but I thought the other games. I saw us being three and one at this point. Yeah, now, and I still feel the same. I'm not falling for it. I need to see what like, like you said, when we get behind, I need to

see what the play calling looks like. Are we able to stick to it or do we go into panic mode? And until they are tested in that area, I'm still feeling the same. Like, yeah, offics, according we've been running, we've been balanced, We've been doing everything right for the last few weeks. I need to see it when you're in a pressure situation, when you down and you need to find a way to claw back in the game,

but you still got some time. The penalties last week were to me a very good sign of where the Cowboys can where they're heading. Still, the presnap penalties were still a problem. Mike McCarthy spoke about that this week, But at least we've seen them, we've seen them cut them down. You go into Los Angeles this weekend, you simply cannot You cannot go shooting yourself in the foot there. You just don't want to give them any opportunities. I just feel like this is a game that the Cowboys

can get. Like I felt last week's game against Washington, this is here for the taking. You see what they've got going on there. Sean McVay wants to run the football. Sorry, good luck trying to run the football with bunch of backup dudes both guard spots and center on this football team. Cowboys have an opportunity to take advantage of it. It will not be easy, because nothing is easy in the league, but I do believe they've got an extra opportunity. They've

got to get this win. As you get ready to go into next week's game against the Philadelphi Eagles, Yeah, the Rams they gotta figure out, you know, what they're gonna do outside of a Cooper cup man because if you look at this man, he has fifty four targets. He got three times the amount of targets as Alan Robins. Alan rob has only got eighteen targets. And then the next outside of Cooper CuPy, looking at the tight end Higbee, a lot of his you know, catches are the underneath stuff,

little check down stuff, here and there. So to me, they got to figure out how are they going to use all these pieces, because if you look at it, you can't. I know, I know this guy, Cooper Cupies, he's outstanding, you got the Triple Crown all that stuff, but offensively you can't literally focus on if it's not Cooper cup I got to throw it away before I

get sack. You gotta figure something out out there because that I mean, he's a great receiver, but he's not gonna take you by himself all the way to the Promised Land. You gotta use these other pieces out there. And to me, they just they haven't either I don't know if staffers not even looking in the direction or they don't even you know, play the call for those

guys to get the ball and get involved. But to me, this offense is going to remain to be stagnant if all they're doing is focusing all right, Cooper Cups double team, I gotta throw the football away like it just doesn't make sense to me. Fifteen million dollars to Allen Robinson. They got nine catches and four though, and uh, and I do think it's a little weird just because when we see Alla Rominson playing with less talent in Chicago. We've looked at him and I was like this, this

dude's the truth. He needs to get out of shot town so he can really live up to his potential in Then now it's like, man, you you're not getting nothing. So albeit if he staffers not looking at him, or if he's not getting open, this ain't the week to find it out though, because because you're growing up against the defense with some with some defensive backs that's ready to play. You got an Anthony Brown out there ready to ball. You got a competence between darn Bland and

Jordan Lewis. I still don't think that George Lewis is gonna get this spot taken. Okay, I mean you got out there ready, ready to uh you know what I'm saying, ready to turn the ball over. You got pass rush. This ain't the week for he's going to force it the Cooper Cup? Do you travel? Do you travel? Digs? If he becomes a problem, I actually I actually have faith in Anthony Brown. If it becomes a problem, then't Yeah, but I think right now you leave him lefting right

and see how the game plays out. Positive Van Jefferson isn't isn't playing Uh, he's on ir UM. I think Robinson is turning out to be the player that they they didn't they don't He's not what they think he was um and then missing Odell Beckham and you take all those things into consideration, and Matthew Stafford is stuck with what he knows higbee uh and my guy Cooper Cup. I mean, it's not like I'm just going back and

look at looking at them. It doesn't seem as though he's not going through his progressions and solely looking for Cooper Cup. But I mean you go back to old reliable and maybe it's just the fact that Alan Robinson isn't taking the top off like we saw him do in Chicago.
