When we keep our stories locked up inside us, denying their validity, we do more than suffer; we perpetuate death. Death is the action of dying. Only telling the truth ends this cycle. This episode is also available as a blog post: http://prisonerbynocrimeofmyown.com/2021/06/08/dog-day-dead/
Lord, could you help us hush those that align against the innocent? Push back those that hurt the young. Lord, help us stop those that mock justice and continue in their sin. Push back those that hurt the young. This episode is also available as a blog post: http://prisonerbynocrimeofmyown.com/2022/11/22/shut-the-mouths-of-liars/
Goat and sheep are two different species, but both of them belong to the same Bovidae family. There are certain differences between a sheep and a goat; some of these can be seen in terms of appearance, behavior and even diet. Let’s look at some differences. Coming from incest felt like sailing the seas on a large ship that operated well. From my father, who was the captain, to the chief mate, who was my mother, everyone had their roles. Each of them lied to other, they stole from everyone including themselves and there was never rest. Which would you choose? Who would knowingly choose famine? When you stay in families of incest and eat at their holiday tables without an abuser having fully disclosed their secrets, fully acknowledged their abuse, fully repented for their actions and are receiving outside counseling, then you are living a life of famine. Sometimes, we have families to heal the legacy of our pasts. We date and marry to be loved into existence. But it never works. We know it doesn’t work. So why do we use the most innocent creatures on earth to try an achieve intactness? Skipping rope as child has its fun and it has the brittle failure that will happen when your foot stops the rope. For every action there is a reaction, right? When children are sexually abused nothing makes sense anymore and I do mean nothing. God speaks to us if we are listening. How often do you stop to hear him? Prayer is like a phone call to heaven. When God picks up the phone and says, “Hello,” we hang up because we’ve said all we have to say. Vulnerable, shaky and trusting these little guys come into the world. At the birth of all things vulnerability is present. What does being vulnerable mean? It means “the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally.” We have no choice as children about that raw, exposed state we find ourselves in, just as a small lamb has no choice about it’s vulnerability. I am going to respond in two parts. In this first part, I want to talk to you about the journey and the battle. Then, our destiny. This has not been an easy life for us, but we have purpose. I’m beyond proud of you both for standing up, exposing yourselves in a raw real way that is seldom seen in life. Thank you. Jewel: Murder – it is the end of all things this side of eternity. I wonder sometimes if my father hadn’t taken the life of that woman in 1968, where she might be today. I wonder what song she’d be listening to — what tune her guitar would play. Everything was taken from her that day: her right to choose, her hope — her destiny.
