The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has replied to crypto exchange Coinbaseās petition that demanded it outline and adopt new regulations on crypto and digital tokens. the SEC claimed that Coinbase isnāt entitled to a mandamus and that it should instead comply with existing laws. A mandamus, the SEC said, is āan extraordinary measure that requires the petitioner indisputable right to relief.ā Coinbaseās mandamus demanded the SEC answer āyesā or ānoā to its petition.
