5: One All You Got, Coming Right Up!

We cover the episode "Rolling Down the River" of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!. Our heroes find themselves in the midst of a high-stakes steamboat race across the River World that "Captain" Koopa aims to win by any means necessary. With Princess Toadstool (unfortunately) and Toad (fortunately) relegated to the background by way of imprisonment aboard Koopa's ship, the Mario bros. are instead aided by a certain famous American writer and a character that wouldn't be totally out of place in the worse parts of said writer's books. Meanwhile, Mario Bros. Plumbing sees the pale student of unhallowed arts kneeling beside the thing he had put together.
