Troye Sivan Mellet, known professionally as Troye Sivan, is a multi-talented artist born on June 5, 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa, who moved to Perth, Australia, with his family at the age of two. He began his career in entertainment at a young age, achieving notable success both as an actor and as a musician. Troye's acting career kickstarted with his role as a young Wolverine in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and as the titular character in the "Spud" film trilogy. As a musician, Troye Sivan transitioned from being a social media personality into an award-winning singer and actor known for his stylish electronic dance-pop music and fearless image which solidified him as an LGBTQ icon on an international scale. Over the years, he has released several albums, tracks, and extended plays including "Blue Neighbourhood", "Bloom", "June Haverly", and "In a Dream" among others.

"Got Me Started" is a song by Troye Sivan released through EMI and Capitol on September 20, 2023, as the second single from his upcoming third studio album, "Something to Give Each Other". The song also samples "Shooting Stars" (2009) by the Australian electronic duo Bag Raiders. The extended version of "Got Me Started" was released on September 27, 2023, and produced by Ian Kirkpatrick.
