I think that the Outerknown was the sweet spot of where we landed, because part of what I think we're exploring is this tension between what we know and we don't know, and the subject of those questions and those tensions is generally perceived as kind of outside the norm, right? So outer, known, unknown, kind of playing with that .
We all got this thing, it's called consciousness. It's cool. But it's also really scary because we're aware of our own demise. We know life is finite.
There's just, there's just so much power in this idea of witnessing and holding space and exploring.
What about life as it is, right? And what about your inherent worth as you are, because you exist.
This journey is partly a journey of self, and I think that's so much what being a seeker is about as well.
So this is a layer of death that I will never understand. And I love that.
The idea of like an ultimate level or an absolute reality according to certain non-dual teachings is that we are all one, but there is also a very real experience that we live in that is not just an illusion. It is actually a thing that we are experiencing moment to moment that cannot be dismissed.
There've been moments in my life where things have happened and I've thought, you know what? The way other people are talking about this doesn't seem right. There has to be something else out there. There has to be something else that not necessarily explains it, but at least helps me to understand it.
