58 - Bobby Knauff #3
Bobby Knauff came by for my birthday and opened the show with this killer set!

Bobby Knauff came by for my birthday and opened the show with this killer set!
Set from the April 6th show. Mark was hysterical. Just listen.
Nick came back and did an excellent 10 minutes. He was terrified by the bouncer and also by audience member Ryan North (writer for the 'Adventure Time' comic books and creator of 'Dinosaur Comics') but didn't let that slow him down! Check dis shit out!
STOP! WAIT! Don't listen to this set until you see a picture of Darryl Orr! His Twitter profile (@fishinadarryl) has a great one!
The man from "Picnicface" did his 2nd show on Jan 5th and this time we actually managed to record it! Enjoy the hilarity and curse yourself for not seeing his JFL42 solo-show in September!
She's back again and funny as ever. This is another recording from the one year anniversary of the show. Please enjoy!
Pat Thornton closed up our one-year anniversary show with this brilliant set. Enjoy!
Here's a recording from the one year anniversary show two Saturdays ago! I want to use this space to mention that all the comedians who performed that night absolutely killed and any perceived unenthusiasm from the crowd is the fault of our recording devices (as is the distortion, unfortunately). If you enjoyed this, definitely check out Ryan Belleville's podcast "The Flying Bellevilles"!
I thought a long time about who should be our 50th episode. Should it be Scott Thompson? K Trevor Wilson? The secret Louis CK show we had on July 35th? Then I was like, screw it, let's give my and your favourite co-host his due. Ladies and gentlemen: Alexander Saxton!
We're soooooo close to our 50th episode! Can you feel it? Does it feel like a lump? If it does, go see a doctor! Luke is one of those guys who's both a comedian and a real person. Dude's a lawyer. Crazy shit, right? Also, it's Luke's birthday today! Happy birthday Luke! I hope you don't get cancer!
Amanda makes a phonecall in the middle of her set. It sounds like that should be rude but instead it's hilarious.
Yeah! Matt O'Brien! This guy won Best Stand-up at the LA Comedy Fest! Enjoy the episode everyone!
Did you know that expired Gravol doesn't fix your nausea but still makes you sleepy? I found that out 15 minutes before getting on stage! Enjoy!
Rhiannon Archer stopped by the show to make jokes on a stage like some kind of FREAK. Enjoy... if that's your kind of thing.
If you want to understand the beginning of this set you need to listen to Ben's first set on our show (episode 25). Do you hear him making fun of that guy with the socks? Do you? That's Anthony Botelho! From ep. 43!
Some unfortunate singing and some very fortunate comedy, ladies and gentlemen it's Anthony Botelho!
I googled Steve Patrick Adams and the fifth result was an obituary for a guy in Louisiana. Anyway, I also found out that Steve won a Canadian Comedy Award last year! Awesome!
Scott gets real (and funny) in his appearance on the July show.
Our July first-timer and one of my oldest friends!
Diana has a hilarious twitter that I've neglected to mention up until now: @Epic__Bail (two underscores). Follow her! Follow her to the stars! Also, she's competing in the Toronto Comedy Brawl semifinals on Aug. 24th at 918 Bathurst (show starts at 8pm)!
The co-host spends 5 minutes talking about Mennonite sausages! Why do I give him stage time again?
Well after numerous delays and tear-stained pillows we've finally reached the end of the May episodes, and what a way to end it. Andrew Chapman can be found on Twitter (@chap_andy) and on his very own website (andychap.com). Enjoy the episode and check back soon for the first of our July recordings (the June recordings were, very unfortunately, ruined somehow)!
This guy again? What, is he funny or something? Yes. Yes he is.
The ocean puns are back! Also Jordan Foisy is here! That's like two amazing things in one also amazing thing so you should totally listen to this. The Foister runs the Chuckle Co. comedy show at Comedy Bar on the last Wednesday of the month. It's a great show, go check it out!
Amanda Brooke Perrin is the third best thing Ontario has stolen from Alberta (closely following "cowboy hats" and "Earth's natural beauty"). You can follow her on twitter @brookeperrin and, holy smokes, you can totally add her on facebook if you want more showtimes! Sidenote: this is one of my favourite sets ever.
Matt Collins! I mistakenly refer to him as a first-timer while introducing him. In reality he had done a few shows before this one. He writes the very funny weekly online column "No Good News" for Provocative Penguin (http://provocativepenguin.com/category/serial/n-g-n/). He also doesn't know the dates for any of his August shows.
What Toronto stand up podcast would be complete without Josh Infald? That being said, this podcast is now complete. No more updates.
Diana did this set in full pirate regalia but she never once mentioned it while on stage and the audience, in turn, did not react to it. Sometimes I wish this podcast had video. It really added a lot to her jokes.
Matt O'Brien was named Canada's Next Top Comic in 2010 and was recently awarded "Best Stand Up" at the L.A. Comedy Fest. Think about THAT while he tells his poop jokes!
Kirk Hicks has a twin sister who will do comedy for 50% cheaper but we splurged and got you the best possible Hicks money can buy (excluding Abraxis Hicks III, explorer and kangaroo fighter)! Enjoy!
