The One Beer In Podcast

One Beer Inpodcasts.apple.com
Welcome to The One Beer in Podcast! We're two best friends that enjoy getting on each others' nerves and talking crap while enjoying a good beer (or two). This podcast is your invitation into our colorful conversations that range from PlayStation to Internet politics. Strap in -- this is very much a conversational podcast, as we take a layman's point-of-view and discuss our interests: beer, video games, movies, tech, entertainment and basically any rabbit hole that we may wander into along the way. We often end our podcast with a beer review, and sometimes sneak in a bonus brew, so stay tuned. Cheers -The One Beer In Brews

Marc starts off righting a wrong that many of us are guilty of: confusing Fall Out Boy with Panic! At the Disco. Then we jump into why legendary rap magazine, The Source, is a whole dumpster fire. We then get into a mini review of HBO's The Watchmen (mostly spoiler-free), talk movies we didn't "get" when we were younger, the proposed and horrible named Orlando Dreamers MLB team, the OK, Boomer meme and our generational differences. Not-So-Sober October and Kanye Cashes in as a Christian Artist | Ep. 234

From criticizing food memes (bacon on everything, melted cheese on everything, etc) and the White Claw takeover to unpacking Kanye's intentions as a born-again Christian artist and Joker director Todd Phillips' reasoning for quitting comedy (and then a dark hole of Trump and 9/11 and mass shootings--yikes)we tackle it all while definitely getting a little tipsy. Will Spider-Man Survive Without the MCU? | Ep. 228

In gaming news, Apex Legends developers Respawn are in hot water over some less-than-PR-approved responses to the vitriol the community has been sending their way over microtransactions. Who's right? Who's wrong? Who's whiney? With Disney and Sony unable to reach an agreement, it seem like (for now) Spider-Man is quite far from home indeed. Can the Tom Holland run survive without the MCU tie-ins? The Mini Man at Bagel Boss, a Mini Switch, and a Mini Review of Stranger Things 3 | Ep. 222

This episode we try to see life from the eyes of the angry Bagel Boss guy.* We speculate on the reason behind why Nintendo is deciding to release a Switch that although may be cheaper, may have too few features to make the price cut worth it. Finally, Marco is all caught up on Stranger Things, so we give you guys a mini (kinda spoilery) review of the hit Netflix show. Also, what's the hubbub around Nike's recently canceled shoe design, featuring the Betsy Ross US flag? Cheers and Happy 4th of July to our fellow friends in the States. Beer of...
