Today On Deadline is taking America’s temperature. You see, things are heating up in the US and around the globe. And not just politically. We mean it literally. Is it hot in here? According to data from the Copernicus Climate Change Service in Europe, Earth experienced its hottest day ever recorded on July 21, with the planet’s average temperature hitting 62.76 degrees Fahrenheit. This new record left climate experts and scientists cautious, and they continue to warn about the dangers of a planet that keeps getting warmer.  'On Deadline' is hosted and produced by Lauren Barry.
