I actually missed a whole bunch of games. When he saw how the UH Denver game endured up, what was excuse me when when you saw how the Denver Pittsburgh game ended up? What was your reaction to Pittsburgh coming back in wining? Good for them? I can't you know all I can worry about as us. I
can't control with pittsburgher Denver does. So we just gotta get ready for New England this week. And you know, however it plays out, it plays out. But we gotta try to win our last two games. Mhm. What are your impressions of it's been what seven or eight weeks since you based the Patriots in what ways they strike you as being different since week seven? I mean, and not much different. They're winning and they're beating everybody. They're
finding different ways to do it. No well coach, team, not a good athlete and the same team we've always been. You know, they do what they do and they do it very well. H m hm. Cott, if you u win out, Uh, what do you have you thought about what your chances are then? And what do you think they are if you're able to win those last two games? I don't know. You gotta win the last two games and just hope for the best. That's all. That's all you can do. You know, you don't know. We don't
know what our chances are. We don't control our own destiny. We just can control the two teams that we play against. So we're just gonna try to win those two games and make potitive steps going forward. At the football gods theme that we're worthy somehow we win these last two games. Maybe we will, maybe we won't, But they can't worry
about it because you can't control it. But before the last time you guys played New England, you and you know, most of your players um were very adamant that it was just sort of just another game and that it really didn't mean a whole lot. Now it's week sixteen, and considering where you are in the season and what's writing on it, is it is it's still just another game? Or is there a different different feeling about it. It's a different feeling about the game. It's not necessarily the Patriots.
It's is just about the position we're in as far as give enough other chance to make the postseason, so we gotta give ourselves to win their chance. It doesn't matter who we were playing this week, it would be an important game. It would be a big game for that reason. So the fact that it's the Patriots makes it a division rival game. But for us, you know, we gotta win regardless of who we're playing. Do you think this is the biggest game in your head coaching career?
I want to say the biggest game. It's the biggest game this week because it's the only game this week. A lot of the big games that let up to this point, so you just take them all consecutive. I don't. I don't think they're a big game in the important games, but it's not the biggest game of my career. Hopefully I have a long career and have some bigger ones to go over, so I don't worry about that time. What did you learn about Reddy seeing an in person
and playing in person the first time? That can maybe supplement her preparation this t I mean nothing, I didn't know before. He's a great quarterback. I mean, like I said, I can't I'm not the first of the last cadson here and compliment him and give him accolades all over the places. He didn't need me to say. He's got one his own. We just got to prepare ourselves and try to make play in the fourth courter. They made
more players than we did. Godd. Do you feel like you guys are a different team than the first time you met them? I mean, I hope we are always grown some you know you Actually you gotta play the game on someday to find that out. We've matured a little bit, so hopefully we got some wins behind us and we're just going to keep trying to get better. Do you think you're a better team tied and finishing
and it's so how so, Oh, we've executed. We played a little more poise than we played with even though we made some mistakes last games. You know, we're learning how to finish. And I think we've learned in two games how to finish from the ones we failed with the middle of the season. And we're don't always just getting better each week. And I think the guys are trusting each other more and they just play for each other a lot more now and that's part of the
growth of a new team. Help telling Davis, Uh, it looked like he had to back the other night. Yeah, you got the floorback. He's day to day right now as well. So it sounds like you've got a day to days. Do you have any guys who fall into the more serious category. Um, not at the moment. Everybody the three guys of three guys are day to day. Everybody else would be better than that. It's the Decker's knee.
I know he said that night everything was fine, but uh, there's nothing that lingered kind of only woke up Monday or anything like that or Sunday of normal soreness of the late season. Were there any additional concussion evaluations for mo is He in the protocol? Or is he okay? Okay? When you went back to to wash it? Uh? In the fourth quarter went Fitzpatrick when I was really close whether he fumbled or not. You know, I went to a booth review. Now that you've seen the replay, did
you think he bumbled in that spot? No? I didn't think he did. I mean, I thought the right call. His knee was down. The ball came out right after that. What does your practice schedule look like this week? With the holiday? We'll practice tomorrow. Tomorrow is like a Wednesday for us, and then Wednesday's like a Thursday. Thursday's like a Friday. Friday. They can spend Christmas at home in the morning with the families, and we're coming at noon.
What did you think, Todd of Odell Beckham's day yesterday and everything that happened with him? Everybody talking about it. I actually didn't see it. I hadn't seen anything on it yet. But you know, it's not my fish to fry, so I'm just getting ready for New England and I hadn't seen any highlights to see anything, so I don't know
