get a hit because he's just always that guy. He's the stickler. Yeah, you know, he used to crush the Red Sox when he was on the Rays. I texted my friend and we're talking about who do you walk? Rizzo or Zobrist And because they were the commentators were saying that they're gonna walk one of them. They just don't know who's obris is over four prior and I texted my friends and it's a mistake walking Rizzo and then I give myself one is a nice little pat

I've seen any other videos with like the eight year old um crying and the year olds like, yeah, it's actually really cool, really cool. I gotta see this Joeman interview. he's from Akron. He's a Yankees fan, isn't he? And that that that's why everyone's giving him crap, because everyone because he's been seen prior to this year's fine Yankees, he's geared out. Yeah, but he's got respect for those guys. Yeah, you know, I'm sure over the over the year and things like that, guys run into each other and things like that. I think his emotions were genuine. I mean you could see in The Incredible Hulk that he has a forearm on top of a forearm on top of

a mini forearm. That's flexing. I've never seen him flex like that, even in the even after winning the title. It was unbelieving. I've never seen lex Well, you got a lot of videos from last night. Like grandmother who's ninety five years old, has seen every team win that has a World Series ring. So there are eight teams in the MLB that have

yet to win a World Series ring. And she's been alive for the other twenty two. Who doesn't have the Padres, the Mariners, the Nationals because they're new, um, the Rangers, the Astros. I was googling like the game, and like, you know, I love baseball a lot, so I was just like looking up reading articles and I came across the picture of young Kyle Schwarber and Jaylen Marshall and Jaylen Marshall looks exactly the same the New York The New York Jets twitter account retweeted it, which is how I saw it, And it's a photo of the two of them, and it's it's funny because the bad I wasn't following the Jets twitter account last night my phone.

I don't think anyone. Did you guys know the CMA Awards were last night? I had no idea. Yeah, I didn't. I flipped it on and I saw what's her name? Who's the lady used to be married to Blake Shelton, um Miranda Lambert. Yeah, I still wanted her songs. I'm not really a big fan, you know. You know Luke Bryan. I know that you probably don't like country music, but I love Luke Bryan. Should never perform live ever ever. I'm sure he's a nice guy. He's singing our national anthemic.

No he's not not No, I saw I saw him last year, but he performed at Cowboys Stadium at a T and T. Right, that's the name of Jerry's place, Jerry Jones World. It was a live performance in Dallas last last year for one of the games. He's awful, lively. So what you're telling me, it was two years ago when I was at school. Luke Bryan came to Syracuse and I was bummed that I didn't get tickets. What you're saying is that I shouldn't be No, just listen to him on the radio or in your car or

It's like seven o'clock at night, gets on the treadmill and silent. He has no headphones into the years. He knows how rision on. He's just on the treadmill with his own thoughts like who does that? Who does That's peaceful? I did. I did a little climb yesterday. That's what I like to do on the treadmill. It's little inner roll work up. I saw you were doing. Yeah, so you walked for a minute and then run and whatever, do a climb. But no, Ross is in there almost

every night. He works in our public relations department. Literally seven minute he rolled out his legs at the phone roller and I think he lifted like eight pounds and then he was done. And I was like, he enjoys watching Signfeld down there. No, so I don't you know that's not a knock sign pods great. Yeah. I two days ago, I like, Ross, you just watched TV when you work out? He goes, he goes, Yeah, it's usually Seinfelder Modern Family. He's playing in the Seine Fold. Good

Because you might have to use the restroom about four times during your workout.

All Right, we're gonna move on from Jim talking do you drink two I mean, it's like the guys drink two ounces of water. But that's that's ridiculous. That's that's not I drink vodka and wine like that. But the gym you'll mix those you mix. But like depends on the night. When rolled into the gym with a post workout of a two gallons red wine, that's the first thing you do when you get home. Okay, anyway, red wine occasionally probably there in a steak dinner or something

like that if you heard a fancy dinner, somebody's got like. Yeah. On a different note here, that's what I don't like about stadiums nowadays, and I think MetLife Stadium has them. But I'm working, so it doesn't matter. Yeah, it's something. It's that's some spots. No, no, no, that's some spots in the stadium. Probably can get an I p A. But it's tough. Like if you're in Cleveland, you're you're gonna have a corona or you know, I don't know, a bud light or something like that. We enjoyed a

corona at the Calf game. That's true. You guys found your beach and we did that. Lebron played the magic with a coronas Hulking then too. Okay, that's good. So, now that you're talking about movies, you brought up something that I wanted to bring up in that obviously Week nine New York Jets traveling down to Miami playing in the Miami Dolphins. The name of the show is laces In, which stems from Ray Finkel, the

fixed in a Miami Dolphins character in Aspan Tura. I just wanted to put that out there that it's we are now playing the Dolfense, right Finkll obviously played for the Dolphins in the movie. And this is an exciting moment in the podcast history. And it's brief, nine nine week tenure and I don't really know why, but again, the Jets of traveling down to hard Rock Stadium Week nine in Miami Dolphins running back Jai E rush for two straight two yard games. If he does it a

third time, it would be NFL history. Who needs to step up on this defense? Or who's going to step up on this defense in your opinion, in order to stop Mr Ji the boise steak guy. And I think I know who you're gonna say, who needs to step back? That guy? Not who needs to step up? Who do you think he is going to have a good performance? No, I think it's ridiculous. I mean, I think the question should be who does Miami need to step up and play maybe above even their talent level for something like

that to happen. This is Jets defense that has given up ninety rush yards on one occasion this year. And who wasn't in the lineup? Who wasn't the Jet's He's you know, consistent, reliable, and ain't sexy. He just gets the job done. You know. Then the Jets, the way the team plays defense is they're gonna stack the box, They're gonna challenge you, They're gonna challenge you, and they're putting playing a lot of pressure packages. Lately. It's gonna

be interesting to see if we're lining up. When I said we're I mean the Jets, of course, is that either four three look or three four multiple flexible up front. Last couple of weeks you've seen Lorenzo Walden in the lineup more and things like that. The Jets have been juggling some personnel out there, especially at the inside linebacker position. That's why I get even gonna give David even more credits Julian stan for play pretty well last week, making

a start. Darren Lee out of the lineup. He's still working to get back from the ankle injury. You also have Bruce Carter working to get back from the quad injury. So I mean you're going down the dumb chart here. And Julian Stanford did a nice job again the front. When you have Leonard Williams, you have Steve McClendon, you have Sheldon Richardson, you have Mohammed Wokerson. It's gonna be awfully hard no matter who it is to get a

lot of things going on the ground. Don't be surprised at times that Miami, knowing that hey, the Jets got Jie in their sites, come out with some play action at times, you know, but how you negate play action? You just take away the run, Jessica go on and you go up field. You know who's got to step up from Miami. My thing is this game is all about Ryan Tanney Hell and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Period. I don't think j Hi he's going for two d yards. That's not saying he's not a tremendous talent. He is a

good talent. And that offensive line I like it a lot. They're just happened to be facing one of the better defensive fronts in football and nobody runs against him. And it's the top rush ranked defense in the NFL right now, seventy four yards of game there is. And I'm also I'm looking for Sheldon Richardson to go off because of all the trade rumors that were going on. He went

through a lot this week. He said it didn't bother him, but like he has to be super motivated just go out and like even crushed it even more than he has been this year. I don't think he bothers him. I really don't. I think he does understand it's a business. It's your name is gonna be out there. Brandon Marshall's name was out there the other day. It's not like

it's a it's a nice thing to hear. I don't know who no no, no, no, no no. You you're now you guys have come in here and you're starting to work inside the organization and things like that, and this is your first collective years um here inside an organization. The bottom line is a fan mindset is a lot different than a player mindset, a GM mindset, a coach mindset.

I'm just I'm just saying I think he's gonna like want to, you know, kill it even more than he already has and just be like, Wow, you made the right decision keeping me. I'm this good. I never question his motor. I think Sheldon's just going no matter what happens. I mean, it'll be curious to see where he lines up as it is every week because he's so he is so versatile. But something that I wanted to bring up also is what is one bold prediction or something

Brandon goes. You talked about motivation and shellon. How about Brandon returning to Miami for the playing in Hard Rocks Medium for the first time since he Yeah, and I find that hard to leave. He told me how excited he was. I mean, this means a lot of the guys to go back. Um, and play where they used to and

If he is activated and I think he goes for one forty plus yarder, Well, that's extremely bold. I'm not giving you a bold I'm not giving you a bold prediction. What about it italicized? No, I will tell you this that three matchups Alex mentioned Marshall Maxwell, that'll be fun. That's gonna be worth the

price of admission, so to speak. Since he Brandon is already saying that he doesn't like them and things like that. So you know, Brandon When he says things like that, people throughout the league and all sports fans, they're gonna be watching and see what transplatters on Sunday. Brian Winners, who I think it's played tremendous football for the Jets this year. He's gonna be going against the Diamond KNSIOUE.

The Jets swept the Dolphins last year. Brian Winners played excellent ball when matched up with Sue in that first meeting. And I go back to London at Wembley Stadium and Winners was actually taken over for Willie Colowna at that time. He played really well and I think he's really taken off this season. That's another one you mentioned, Harris. You

guys laugh about it. But a big matchup, of course, is gonna be Harrison and gy E. You know, because first off, Davis making sure everybody's in the right spot and he's making sure the communications are all set. But he also understands leverages where he should go, how to take on a block, things like that other guys might be taking on the tackle eventually getting a gy E down. But it's gonna be coming down to fifty two and I'm I'm very pleased if I'm a Jets fan that

he'll be ready to go. Something that you just said, what's kind of triggered my mind here. This is the Jets first time in Miami since two thousand fourteen, right correct. Last season they played in London Lovely Stadium, so it is a little bit of a there's been a little bit of a of a hiatus here. There's also the jets second AFC East game of the season, obviously the first one week two against the Bills in the Color

Rush game. Now that's a good point as soon as we start the halfway point, I mean, as we start the second half of the seasons that the Jets have five divisional games and their final three games are against the Dolphins, Patriots, and Bills. So there you go. Now, this also concludes a grueling stretch of six road games and three home dates. So if you're able to win this game and get the four and five, maybe things look a little bit different because the Jets will follow

this up with three consecutive home games. They got the Rams then to buy then the Patriots and then I believe Indianapolis, and then they'll go to San Francisco and come back and play the Dolphins, so four or five at home after this, So I think this game is huge. This game is huge. And also remember too, is the Jets were five and five last year when they went onto a little run. Now, maybe this could be an extended run because I don't think they're firing on all cylinders.

I don't think anybody in the locker room will tell you that they're firing at all cylinders. They got away with basically playing a half against the Cleveland Browns last week, and they did some good things against the Baltimore Ravens. But that's why those guys should have some confidence, is they haven't put it all together. If they can start putting together, this one's gonna be the toughest of the bunch. If you're looking at Baltimore, Cleveland at Miami, this is

the toughest game on paper, without a doubt. A team that has stayed on in South Florida for this is a four, had a bye week, has had a lot of time. I hit a lot of time prepare to prepare for the Jets. There's no doubt about that. Um, So this will be the toughest game of the bunch. And if Jessica win, and you know this could perhaps be the tip of the iceberg here. Then you're over the hump, the stretch that you just mentioned, and looking down the road, you're five of your last seven or

at home. So it will be very interesting to see what plays out and something else that's played out here along our week eight weeks now nine weeks inside the Flooring Park studio is our Eric Allen lost. That's a really tough game, Seattle. I'm going to Seattle as well because it is in Seattle. But it is a tough game. And I don't know if

Shady McCoy is playing. I don't know, but last week he did not like Jealousie played. I really liked Seattle was very impressive to me in earlier year, especially when they played the Jets. But I've watched I've watched them recently. He can't move right now. He's banged up, and I don't know what it is. It's it's They're definitely not He's definitely running a lot less right now. Great competitor. That offensive line is having extreme difficulties blacking anybody. They

just lost the Saints last week. Now the Bill's got hammered at home against New England, and then they lost tough games down in Miami. So now it's in a row for them. So and I almost feel like this is a must game for Buffalo, But you gotta go with Seattle home. I would say, like Seattle fifteen the twelve because wufful to turn it over. It's gonna be like a really ugly game. Might be six to three in overtime. That would be a real ugly game for sure.
