As the name suggests, this show is not what you're used to listening to. From us. We cover the green and white from a rather different angle. Now again, put your mic back on Ethan excited. Me tell you this guy is excited and we are ready to roll. And fans at home cannot see this, but we do have

a camera in here. Maybe somebody should take a shot of this. Again. We're inside the Floor and Park Studios Ethan Greenberg alongside Eric Allen and Alex Sjaimo. Guys, football is right around the corner. How are we feeling? It's here, It's finally here. We survived training camp. We're here, We're here. How are we feeling? And we feel great? I mean that was not for are we gonna talk and we're talking third person, you know, so I feel great. I

can't speak for everybody else, but in training camp. Wow, other people might think that's more of a grind. That's that's that's something that uh, you know, that's part of the deal. Four branches and games. You did, yeah, your first training campus. I enjoyed it. Alex onto the regular season. Now again, just like an introduction to any audience, we

need a little little ice breaker. So I was thinking we start with two truths and a lie to get the audience accustomed to Austin to get us accustomed to the audience. So, Alex, we're gonna start with you. There us two truths about yourself and a lot. I feel like we should do this without looking at my face. Okay, I'm gonna I'm gonna read this and see my reactions. So I wanted to become Wait, does Eric know did

how to play this game? No? I would. I would imagine you're gonna say three statements and I have to guess what we have to get you. Which one is the fall? Yeah, that's really not that difficult, Alex. All Right, So I wanted to become a sports reporter since I was like thirteen years old because I couldn't play sports with the boys anymore. When I was younger, I was a really talented violin player, and I was voted most likely to succeed in high school. Okay, one is she

only did too? She did three great sports reporter, violin and most likely to succeed in high school. My question for you is, okay, most likely to succeed in high school? Why everything else is good? That's a lot? First, is you said play with the boys anymore? At thirteen years old? Did you used to play with boys? Like boy? What sports? Baseball, ice hockey? We got an athlete in studio here. Everything bought football, everything, but they didn't play you in Pop Warner, Alex,

listen emotion here Jet Life. Alex is hosting that this year eleven thirty CBS eleven thirty five CBS Saturday nights. That's how you get ready for your Jets Sunday games. And Alex is part of a feature and that not only is she hosting the show, but she's also taking an active participatory route the George Plimpton School of journalism, getting in there in the weight room and doing some exercises.

And let me tell you something, I got more complaints out of her last week between Thursday night and Friday morning then I I would like to admit right now. And then she came in on Monday after a couple of days off and said how sore she was. So now she's telling us how athletics she is. I said, back in the day, yeah, I don't have to all

do is you keep me here? I'm gonna say I'm gonna say the lies the sports reporter one because I think it was at a different age most likely to succeed that it's all right, my boss knows me a little. Do you think I love this game? I love it. You're seven lives. You give us two truths and okay. In high school I was voted person with the hottest temper, and in college I played goalie for the University of Maryland club hockey team. They played play those on skates

and I recorded twenty shutouts as a freshman. Finally, that was that's that's all encompassing. Thirdly, I I'm glad he thought about these before the shop I attended. I a an altercation with Warrant sapp my first year in the National Football League of two thousand physical no more of an altercation where I was basically told that I'm a nobody. I had better get out of his way. And I'll never remember that. But that's definitely see. I'm going to

say that that's false because I think it was Keyshawn Johnson. Oh, that's interesting, hottest temper in high school. I think he just copied me because that's mine. Well, what's false? You have to spill the beans now, both guests. The false bit is me playing ice hockey of Maryland and haven't twenty shut up numbers. Ridiculous. That number is ridiculous, twenty shutouts. Patrick, Wait, so it was Warrant Sapp. It wasn't Keyshan, Yeah, Warren Sapp.

I had to go in the locker room one of my duties in the public relations department, as I had to help out the community relations staff, and I was charged to ask him to sign a ball. And Sap was walking off the field and I just looked up at him, put the ball on his face, and he gave me the heisman and I'll never forget it. And then I, like early on in my career, I was a little bit scared of Sap, but over the years

I got used to him. You know, I was only there for a year in Tampa, but obviously our past across a few other times of professional settings. But for a young guy in this industry, Warrant Sapp scary dude. Yes, now it's my turn. So we we had Alex Jaimos. She uh, well, what, Eric, what was the lie? We know you, we know you want to say it again where I was most likely to succeed, Alex. You gotta fire right back at him. What what is Eric's law? How does it old. No, wait, how does temper was

the truth? Yeah? Goaltender with twenty shutouts? Alright. I didn't even go to Maryland my freshman year. I went to Candidians College in Buffalo. Follow the facts, people, let's go okay, and I will say Sam just was an intimidated figure. And then for me, all I was doing was giving a ball out there, and you just gave me the heisman. Okay, all right? So my my two truths in a lie.

One is I wrote a camel and a donkey at the same time or what different times, But in my life I have In my life, I have wrote a camel and a donkey. I had a pet goldfish. I had a pet goldfish named Vinnie after Vinny Testaverdie. And I'm happy that Mets signed Tim Tebow. Wow, the li No, it's not the lies. You're happy that Mets signed Tim Tebow. This is easy here. You guys got to come up with better ones. I don't know. I feel like you

would like I'm anna old. I'm an old. Come on now, you jumping on board with the a Oh, you gotta go something place, I would say the goldfish, he was right, He's not even prepared and showing out rock. This is easy. Come on, now, was a gentleman when he was here. He was a professional. I'm not I'm not bashing him, but that was the I'm not I'm feeling indifferent about it. You know, he's in the he's a minor league Mets player. It's just saying how I feel about no doubt about

another guy in the organization. So you just kinda just you gotta listen. That's part of the reporting business. So I'm teaching you something here. So when I said I went to school at the University of Maryland, when he shut outs my freshman year, I didn't go to Maryland my freshman year. I didn't even want to shutouts as a ridiculous number. Okay, so I win. Where's the about? All right? Oh my god? Again, this is laces in

Ethan Greenberg here alongside Alex Discount. Well we're not the Green Bay Packers and a Rodgers, but that but I can't do Yeah. The dis kind double check is the belt, but it stems from the w w E because the championship belt. Yeah, alright, just making sure I actually have a belt at home, I'll bring it in, all right. Nonetheless, please please please subscribe. I'm gonna you're gonna hear it again to the Jets podcast Network on iTunes. This is

laces In. It's simple, it's one button. Take out your phone, go to iTunes, type in Jets podcast networker laces In. Press subscribe, one button. Seventeen episodes. You will not regret it. We're talking everything Jets, pop culture, fantasy football. But again, at at the heart of this podcast, we are discussing

New York Jets. So this Sunday, the season opener, Week one of the regular season, the fifteen year anniversary of nine eleven MetLife Stadium, Jets hosting the Cincinnati Bengals, the a f C North Division winners from So because this is the first game of the year, we're gonna play a little game. It's called who has the first And I'm gonna say different statistics or different statisticals categories, and you have to answer with who you think the first

person is to record that statistic. So let's start out with you. He picked up on that who who has the first sack of the New York Jets defense? In well, Sheldon Richardson has one game suspension, so it won't be Sheldon this week. Um, the Jets are dynamic on third down with their sub packages and Casey Rogers and Todd Bowls showing different looks. But I'm going number ninety. Mohammed Wokerson could come right out of a base formation guy at twelve sacks last year. He was dominant in his

only preseason performance against the New York Giants. He is the hometown kid from Lynden, New Jersey, and on the fifteen fifteenth year anniversary of nine eleven, it's gonna be nice to see a hometown kid come out there of flying and uh Mo, Wokerson will take down the red rifle. That will be the first sex. Yeah, and he's coming off how many sacks from last year. So I'm gonna go. Leo will and I knew you were going to say, because Leo me and even have both written articles about

how much he wants more sacks this year. In fact, they were I mean at first, at first, I didn't even know he had written it until I was told. But um, uh, I'm gonna go with him. But uh yeah, I'm not gonna take the easy way out like I did there Alex stole my thunder. I was gonna go Leo too. You know, in two games against the Jaguars and Redskins preseason's Week one and two, he had two sacks.

You know, he's he's really looking forward to showing what he can do last season at thirty two quarterback hurries lead the team. He's looking to turn those into sacks. I think he's going to get the job done first. I think Moe could have a reason to do with it, you know, because maybe they want to maybe Moe gets a couple teams, little double team. But well, I guess we'll we'll see, but I'm gonna go with Leo as well.

Feel me interesting to see if the Jets line Leonard Williams up at nose deckoed all this week and that's something we saw a little bit during the preseason, Ethan, But listen to Jets have a loaded defensive line again. They're missing Sheldon Richardson this week. But on the other side of the ball, the Bangles are missing a couple of their key players and Tyler Eifertler had a great year, like he had thirteen touchdowns. He was fantasy and don't be surprised if it's one of those edge guys. And

when I talk about edge guys. I'm saying Lorenzo Malden or we don't know as of today what the status of George Jenkins is gonna be. So Mike Atpono could get this start there another hometown, and Todd Bowle said that he expects a leap out of Lorenzo Malden this year. So in some packages, you don't know, now, wild Caward, if you said I want safe wild Car would be going to defensive back because it could be like a

Calvin Briar. It could be like a buster your screen a prior on a blitz that we saw against the Giants. Overload right, but here comes twenty five to the left. What else he got? Ethan we're gonna go to the offensive side of the ball. Now we're gonna start with Alex and I know I have a feeling. I know what you're gonna say. First touchdown for the New York Jets goes to who. I knew you were gonna say that that is a biased statement. I mean only because he's like in the red zone. They throw the ball

to him a lot. He loves he loves his touchdowns. He said it. So I don't know he loves and the and this has nothing to do with his looks, No, and nothing to do with that. I'm about to interview him in a couple of hours. So were you more nervous for that for for this? No? More nervous for more nervous? Well, this one's off camera. That's fair, all right there? Alrighty? Who you got first? Touched out? Brandon

Marshall fourteen touchdowns catches last year. He led the Jets and and the Jets are fantastic in the red zone because it's very difficult to double team everybody. Alex just mentioned Eric Decker, who those guys combined to lead the National Football League in terms of receptions and total touchdowns last year. Wide receiver tandems. So I think it's safe going either direction. But again, Jane Gailey has got a lot of options. I'm at fourty, only played in one

preseason game. He's one of the most accomplished receivers in terms of a running back out of the backfield receiving weapon in the history of the National Football League. And then Blow Paul as well, don't forget about him. So those are probably the top four candidates. There are some wild cards side. You've gone. You've gone two superstars. It's hard, you know, it's hard to go away from the superstar. You've gone Mo and Marshall. But again, there two of

the premier players on this team. I would say, so I'm going Matt Fote, new guy. When he came in against the Giants first preseason action, immediately got the ball both through the air and threw and on the ground. So I'm going Matt Forte. And this is this is an interesting question. Now, is Matt fotas first touchdown a reception or is it a rush reception? What do you what do you think it will be a rush? I'm going I'm going rush as well. I think that I

think it's gonna be a three yard rush for a touchdown. Well, that's crazy. I don't even know how you narrowed down to that. That's what I am going with. Three. The big misnomer about Matt Forte is that he is only a receiver. He's only a running back who gets out and catches short passes. That's not true at all. Guys rushed for a thousand yards five times in his career and three of the past four seasons. Kyrie Robinson, a

fortunately tough break for him. No pun intended hosting a ton of you feel you feel bad for the young guy who came here in the off season and he breaks his leg against the Philadelphia Eagles. A lot of people thought that he might be the Jets short yardage red zone back. Now obviously that role is definitely gonna be Forte and or blow Paul and Forte. One of the reasons he said he's so excited about playing this offense is because he wants to run up inside the tackles.

I'm going, uh, you know, Matt Forte, We'll get in the end zone on the ground his first touchdown. So give me Mo, give me Marshall, give me four ten the ground and the bount stays home. That's Eric Allen, that is Alex Jaimo. I'm Ethan Greenberg. This is laces In again. We cover the New York Jets from a bit of a different angle. As the name suggests, is not what it is, not your typical podcast here, We're a little different. We talked everything from Jets football, fantasy football,

pop culture to a little Tim t bout action. We got everything. So to wrap things up here with the New York Jets opening week, one game against the Cincinnati Bengals. I want to know a player or a theme that you guys are, you know, keeping tabs on for this weekend. So for me, it's I want to see how fast this offense starts. It's a year two under chan Gailey franchise mark in what yard total yards totally yards overall the the offense has another year to grow third in

the red zone, just like an encyclopedia over here. So for me, it's I want to see how well this offense gels early on because in the NFL and the beginning of the season. Yeah, and you can see in the beginning of the NFL that it's a new year, so the preseason, the jump to the regular season is like ten times out of the water. So I'm very cure sious to know and see how this offense produces against a tough Cincinnati Bengal. Oh yeah, that's a key

point here. This week. The Jets are starting three new players al along that offensive line. Compared to opening day last season, at that point, Willie Cologne was playing right guard, Breno Jacomini was right tackle. In the British Shaw, Ferguson was left tackle. Now You're gonna have either Brent quality or quality or Benijelanna at right tackle. Brian Winners, who Todd Bowle said was one of the most improved players

on the roster during training camp. He starts at right guard and then one of the most athletic tackles in football when he's healthy, is starting at left tackle. He takes over for the British Shaw in Ryan Claydy, and that is a huge matchup. Ethan, You're right, because Cincinnati likes to get there with four and play verse in the back. Brandon Marshall, we were all in the locker room this week. Brandon Marshall said, they like the zone up a lot in the back. They like to just

get there for a lot of times. They can get there without blitzing. That helps them cover. But yeah, Tom Bowls stressed that throughout the season. Throughout the offseason, excuse me wants start faster. I'm curious about special teams play brand Boyere. They produced a lot in the preseason. Excuse me brand Boyer's first year. UM, it should be interesting that jay Lee Marshall, the rookie, could possibly be the first Jet to touch the football in the season. On

that point. You know, what is he thinking when that ball is in the air. He's never played before, so you better secure it better security. Yeah, that's a great point. I'm looking forward to seeing Fontz has been an absolute beast out there. He hasn't even that's Ethan's favorite players. He's got a four five shirt over by. He's an even better like guy in the locker room. He's he's a great areas. Like he just showed me his dance moves yesterday. Really he did his Victor Cruz salsa was amazing,

and he's like, really good. He's part of Hispanic. I think he said, are you saying he's really good at special team? He's good at life? You know, he's just good at life. But yeah, so that's what I'm interested in checking out. All right, So special teams for Alex starting fast for myself and e A. Again. This is laces in Jets podcast Network. Please subscribe. Lasers In is encompassed in the Jets podcast Network. It's one button. It's

a subscribe button. Seventeen episodes taking you through the entire Jet season. It all starts week one MetLife Stadium this Sunday again, the fifteen year anniversary of nine eleven New York Jets playing host to the Cincinnati Benga. The chills just thinking about it. I think that I think that it's gonna be electric, The stadium will be electric, the national anthem is going to be electric, and then absolutely silent,

like everyone's gonna be showing so much respect. I don't I don't know if you read uh Kim Jones article on NFL dot com recap talking about when she experienced, you know, her experience of nine eleven. She was a Giants beat reporter and her last line, which I thought was a great A great line is typically or not typically fifteen years ago we use sports as a mechanism to forget, but fifteen years later, we used sports as a mechanism to remember. Yeah. I thought that was a

really nice, nice way of putting it. Gives a great professional really respect the work. We'll have to take a read of that. The guys here, Uh, we're really proud of video that we produced here internal. Yeah, I watched

the video. I teared up. Seth Bradley and Jason Levine, Uh, producers here, um got that thing together and uh we interviewed a number of people over months, and I collected hours and hours the sound from folks in the organization and players from that two thousand one team and how the events unfolded and what happened with the Jets that team and Herm Edwards and uh. I think it was a really powerful piece and I would encourage everybody to take a look at that, all Jets fans. I think

you can also see that on Jet Life Saturday night. Okay, more expanded version on jet Life, so make sure you check that out. That's right. So yeah, Another thing is Woody Johnson, who was out here at the complex. He UH with reporters briefly this week. He said that he's really looking forward to the pregame ceremony. So please, if you're going to the game on Sunday, get there early

because there are gonna be uh some tributes. We want to honor some of the first first responders and also remember everybody who lost their lives on that tragic day. And then we're gonna celebrate one of our nation's great pastimes and that's a football game on Sunday. But this is this is not a moment to be fashionably late. No,

everybody's got to get there early early. Is in pregame is gonna be fantastic, So everybody's got to be there, and and also you know, if you've got young kids and who weren't even around and uh two thousand one, I think this is gonna be pretty powerful. And then we can go all enjoy the football game. Now, as far as what I'm looking forward to most in this game, I would say, let me go to the defensive side of the ball. Since you guys are all you go offense,

let's go special teams like all those selections. Um my thing is what are the Jets going to do against the Cincinnati Bengals running back? They got a little tandem there of Giovanni Bernard and also uh Hill. Okay, so how are the Jets gonna counter? Do we see Darren Lee a lot out of the gates? We talked about the transformation at linebacker, hopefully David Harris knock on woods, that knock on wood the hitman is in the lineup then inside linebacker spot. But the Jets are happy with

Aaron Henderson. But perhaps Darrenly gets a lot of work this week as well, because Cincinnati number one, number two, and number three options this week are a j green But they like to also get the ball to their backs. This has not been talked about this week folks. That the Jets have three rookie receivers, so do the Bengals. There are five count of five new receivers in the Bengals opening day lineup this year as compared to last year, Mohammed, So no, is not there any any longer either, as

Marvin owns, you wrote about it this week. So it's Brandon Lafal Tyler Boyd. How is any Dalton gonna work with those guys? Are they gonna try to force the bone to a j Green? Remember the Royal Reef's nine takeaways last year? He takeaway in each of its two preseason appearances. He'll be ready to roll. But the Jets have some options too. And speaking of most improved Bowl said, I really liked what I saw at the buster screen in training camp. Now you can move buster outside inside.

Marcus Williams team leaded six interceptions last year in limited duty. He's gonna get more work this year. So specifically defensively, what are the Jets gonna do with a j Green? And if they're able to take him away, where is the any Dalton going I think he's going to the running backs, and that's how he gifts wrapped the New York Jets preview hosting the Cincinnati Bengals with the defense. He is absolutely fired up for this. I mean, if you talk, if he's talking, bust your screen. He's fired

up up. Bust a screen, pound for pound for a pound, the strongest guy. Okay, so we've covered Jets Bengals. Now we're gonna move on to the rest of the NFL. And this is something we're gonna do every week, is we're gonna have a suicide pick, which is we are allowed to pick one team for the season to beat its opponents. So let's say, if you're you know, Jets, whoever the Jets are playing, you pick the Jets Week one.

Let's say, in this case, you pick them to beat the Bengals, the Jets when you're stay alive, did Jets lose, You're out. We're gonna keep for our record, We're gonna go We're gonna have a couple one pick per week. Obviously, so should I rattle off some matchups? You should rattle off every matchup starting is at Denver, that is tonight, that is the is the NFL seas. I'm staying away from that game, and by the time this is up, I think this's gonna be up Friday, We're actually not

gonna that game will be already be played. Nobody can pick good point Next alright, Sunday Tampa Bay at Atlanta, Buffalo at Baltimore, Chicago at Houston, Green Bay at Jacksonville, San Diego at Kansas City, Oakland at New Orleans, Cincinnati at at US and y J Cleveland at Philly, My Minnesota, Tennessee, Miami at Seattle, Giants at Dallas, Detroit at India, UM Indianapolis, New England at Arizona, Pittsburgh at Washington, l A at San Francisco. Oh, that's interesting. Go ahead, I'm going to

study the games. I haven't. I mean, look hard all bat lead off, No problem, I'm picking the Hawks over the Dolphins. That's good. That's that's I'll pick. That's the game that jumped out to me as well. It's always a tough trip. Seattle place tremin Us at home. They got the twelveth man, but I don't know how that's all working with the trademark anymore. But they get the twelves man. The kicker. The kicker is that I'm not allowed to pick the Seahawks at more. Yeah, that's I understand.

What a suicide. I'm shame like it's a good picture. But for me picking the Seahawks, you have to stay alive day at a time. We get a time, gotta make it to a week. You have no idea there's gonna be scores this week. You guys are just entering the league. I will tell you. I will promise you. You will be sitting in a press box next to me on Sunday and one of you are going to say, what the heck it's forty two to six over there, or wow, so and so Cleveland's got a thirty spot.

Who knows what's gonna happen. I'm going, I'm going. I'm going at Eagles winning at home against the brown That's a gutsy pick. They're starting. Marcus Williams, former collegian teammate Carson wants, I'm curious about r G three. I'm curious. Yeah. And also Hugh Jackson, former Bengals offensive coordinator now head coach of the Cleveland Browns are playing moneyball over there. That's like their big thing now. So I'm very curious about that game. And you're putting all all your chips

in the rook. I guess I am man the rook putting the chips in the rook all right. I mean I would like to say I'm going to take the Jets, but oh man, this is tough. These opening day games are tough. So I'm looking at Monday night Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Washington. See that A lot of my friends are picking that game, the taking the Steelers over the Skins. But I think the Skins are are a little better than people give. They won the division and it's and it's at home

at FedEx Field. I just don't the cut. I'm not drinking thekool aid you think the Colts would be. I think there's also the Houston Texans at home against the Chicago Bears. That's my pick. You're picking the Texans. It's Houston J J. Watt in that place. That team plays with a different jump at home. Chicago was a team and I find it being a little bit of transition. I think the Texans have a lot of talent and

JJ's recovering from some from some injury stuff. Right I can't remember what he had in the preseason, but I think he'll be ready to go. And when he gets going, everything on the scoreboard is JJ this he's selling a pizza, or maybe he's commissed, or maybe he's given tickets to somebody. And then the next thing you see is making a sack on the field, and then he's high five and he's also in the concession guys bringing people beers. He does everything there. And have you seen by the way

Houston Cougar's monstrous victory over Oklahoma at Reliant Stadium? Where are the Texans will take down? Are we going to little college? Can change my pick before we switched. I don't know how I feel about Okay, Okay, pick Andrew Luck. I'm picking Luck, so you're putting Lucky Luck. Yeah, they're playing Detroit at home, so yeah, that's interesting. Then that could go either way. I like the Texans at home. They're surprised the Jets last year. I really like the

way they play at home. I didn't like it on that day. I was really really upset when I got on the bus because the Jets fell the five and five. But Todd Bowls did a tremendous job with that team down the stretch. They won five games in a row. Unfortunately lose the Buffalo, but ten wins and all most Jets fans when the Green and White lost that game down to Texas, had written the Jets off and that just tells you something about Todd Bowles. What he did is a first year head coach. Now in year two,

I'm with Woody hoping optimism for this team. He's taking the Texans, Alex has taking the Colts. I'm taking the Seattle Seahawks again. This is Laces and Ethan Greenberg joined alongside Eric Allen and Alex Jaimo. Please subscribe to the Jets Podcast Network on iTunes. It's real simple, one button seventeen episodes the entire sixteen season. Jets football is at the heart of the program, but we talk everything. We talk fanas football, which I'm actually about to touch on

real quick good. I can't wait for fantasy. Then we also touch on, like we said, our suicide pool, we got everything, college football will come lay and I want my belt to be gold and say e a on it. Okay, but then what happens when a g takes it? She would have to literally steal it. He's not gonna earn it. Okay, we're a little chippy on lasers, and again this is not what you're used to. We're a little different. But real quick, before we wrap things up here, fantasy football

is week one as well. You guys, do you guys have your teams? I think it ruins the games. It ruins the game in the NFL. I just like, hey, fanel Vandel publishes a piece on New York Jets dot com. I appreciate you, Fandel, Thank you? Do you do? I think it takes something away from the game. Let's say, let's say Jeremy Hill is my running back and he's playing the Jets. I'm what am I gonna do? Root for?

You sit Jeremy Hill? Yeah, but like, come on, I'm gonna say, yesterday, did you see what the Jets did last year against the was seeing running backs? You sit Jeremy Hell, that's what you do. I'm not gonna lie. Last night I had my fantasy draft. I had a choice between Derek Carr and Andy Dalton, and I chose Derek Carr because I know we don't play the Raiders here and so like that that did influence my decision.

Do you do you do any fantasy football. I do know fantasy football, but I have some interest in it. And I've interviewed Matthew Berry before. Uh our producer Jason Levine he jumps out of the seat when Matthew Berry is in the house and Met Life Stadium. But yeah, yeah, listen. I think it's great. I think it's great for the sport because it just makes the sport even more popular, you know, and you know you see kids playing fantasy

football at a really young ages. Now, to Alex's point, never, you never want to be in a position where you hear people talking about, oh, Tom Brady is my quarterback, but I'm a die heart shots. How is that even possible? But what if the person went to Michigan? So what what I'm saying. I understand Tom Brady went to Michigan, but Michigan comes before the Patriots. What if you're a die hard Michigan fan and a die hard Jets fan, You're you're you're stuck in the munther Yeah, no, it's stupid.

I understand that aspect. If you want a draft Tom Brady, if you're a die hard Michigan and Jets fan, which I'm sure they're about ton of them out there. Not just kidding, I know I know one. Yeah, who's that is? My is my buddy from from home? Okay, And what does he think about he still is? He still aligned with Brady and NFL aligned with him? In what sense? Does he route for him every Sunday? He respects him, Yeah, respect He doesn't like what he does against the Jets,

but he will always root for him. I respect him too, Okay, but I'm pretty sure he roots for him as long as not against the Jets, because it's still a Michigan product on the field there is. But I will say his favorite players David Harris. Obviously, to David Harris, that's a joke, right, is a fan? No? No, no, because David, no, no, You're just saying that because because of the man. How can you not like something wrong with you? This is one of the top players in the history of this franchise.

You know that we're not We're not bashing him. I like David Harris a lot. I think I like the Jets inside linebacker this year because I like David Harrison and Aaron Henderson, the veteran stability, and he's also he's also top the dup chart in a TIRP Aaron Henderson, I heard he had twenty shutouts just right, Oh yeah, ice hockey. And then you got Darren Lee, who again as I mentioned before, he could be playing. You know,

it depends on a week. The top Bowls said he was clear about Henderson at the top top chart, but depending on the week, Lee could see more time. And then Bruce Carter, guy you interviewed here in a preseason Ethan is another guy who had five interceptions with the Cowboys a couple of years ago. So I'm really excited about them. So do we have to pay any fantasy players? And I just wanted to I just want to talk about we got college games. We could, we could, we

were a little were little time crunch here. That's behind all right. I'm going to Iowa, Iowa State sy Hawk Trophy on the line. You know, I love my Hawks. Alex covered the Hawks last year. But those who don't, I don't don't even understand it because you weren't a University of Iowa reporter. But you're a fan of the Hawk Hawk eye beat reporter. Yeah, but but you were a fan. Where are you supposed to be neutral? I'm

a fan she's now a fan. I truse for the team I'm covering internally, not like it didn't show it on camera. It wasn't like. Actually, if you look at a replay on on YouTube, you can see Alex jump in the back of you can see me crying on the high when they lost in the Rose Bowl. But that that'll be a fun game. And that's Saturday night. I have the night off so I can watch it. Yeah, you got your eyes on any game. Yeah, I got time to see Virginia Tech. They're playing it like Bristol

Motor Speedy. Forgive me on that, because I don't know too much about Nascar, I believe, because you know, I was raised above the Mason Dixon line. Even though I spent some time down and in the South, I never I picked up country love country music, not into NASCAR. So forgive me on that. But everybody's buried the Tennessee Volunteers because they struggle with Appolian State. By the way, State is a great small program. Okay, maybe Tennessee was

looking ahead. Let's not forget how talented of a football team this is the volunteers. Get back a little swagger. Let let me, let me get inst Virginia Tech. That's my pick. What do you at Syracuse, guy, I'm just curious to see how Syracuse plays. I'm not saying I'm picking cues. I'm I'm curious how they play because this is their first real test. Number nineteen Louisville. You know it's it's it's a test coming to the Carrier Dome.

When I went to Syracuse, I witnessed Syracuse takedown Louisville Cardinals, and that was that was the best game ever. You're playing Louisville this week. I'm not saying I'm picking Scuse. Dino baber is a second game Syracuse one thirty three to seven over Cold Gate. Big win over Cold Gate. He said, I was hoping that you guys had crests this week because I knew you could move to two and a toothpaste joke. Yes, anyway, he really just toast. Nonetheless, Nonetheless,

you guys don't use toothpastes either. You got somebody doing it? Does your phone take care of that for you? Let me let me let me enlighten you a little bit. a Tony Mancuso stats crazy. I love Mancuso.
