Let's start off. What do you see in the Jets team over the last three games on their current win streak. Oh, I just think they're a really good team. If you go across uh you know their personnel, offense, defense, and kicking game. They've got a lot of really good players, a very good offensive line, the ability to run the football, playmaking receivers, outside quarterback who's playing really really well. Defensively, excellent front seven, excellent on the back end scheme they

believe in. They stop the run, they defend the pass, and pressure the quarterback, just do a lot of good things. And they make some play in the kicking game. So you know, they're they're they're they're a good football team. I think you see it in all phases of their team. Be a great challenge for our team on Saturday. Is there a specific phase of their game that that you look to attack that you say, that's where we can go,

That's where I feel confident in. Well, I think that's what makes them a really good football team is it's hard to find stuff that you say, okay, boy, that's a weakness and we've got to go attack that. From a personnel standpoint, it's hard to find that from a scheme standpoint, it's hard to find that. And uh, it certainly played very very well throughout the year. They played particularly well these last three weeks. Coach, what's it been

like missing Tony Romo for most of the season. Well, it's just it's it's part of our our the National Football League. You know, sometimes, you know, you have players who are reporting to your team aren't available to you, and you have to put the next guy in there, and you have to rally around him, and you know, somehow, some way, you know, figure out a way to win ball games. Nonetheless, and you know, we've had a couple of different quarterbacks playing. Brandon Weed played first and the

Matt Castle has been playing most recently. And you know, as a football team, we haven't been able to do what's necessary to win, and we've been closing a lot of games. I think our team is battling and fighting and scratching and clawen and we're playing with the right kind of relentless spirit, but haven't done the things necessary to win a lot of these games, particularly late in the game. So we have to find a way to do that. And again, that just would be a great

challenge for us on Saturday night. In your opinion, how has Matt Castle played for your team this season? I think Matt's done some good things and there's some some areas where he certainly has to play better, and he'd be the first one to tell you that. Uh, you know, we haven't been as consistent, uh throwing the footballs we've been in the past. We haven't been as explosive offensively are we haven't scored enough points in games, put too

much pressure on the other parts of our team. We have been a lot of these games late and he's done a good job giving us a chance to win Layton ball games, but ultimately we haven't gotten the job done. And you know that's not only bad, but that's everybody in offense, defense, in the kicking game as coaches and players are all a part of it. And uh, you know, we've got to keep trying to make the corrections, trying to get better, and again, a great challenge for us

on Saturday night against the Jets. Correct me if I'm if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you guys are out of playoff contention yet. What what are you telling your team right now as you're moving full we're uh coming up to this matchup. Yeah, I think the biggest thing for us is to focus on us and focus on our preparation and and not be real concerned about

what's going on outside our building. And you know a lot of people get caught up in the standings and what other teams are doing and where we are, and what we need to do is focus on us and getting better. And there are a lot of good things to build on. We gotta build on him and and certainly we have to make the corrections of the things that aren't, you know, up to the standard of our play. And we'll work on that this week. And uh, you know, our focuses on one game and do whatever thing we

can to player best football Saturday night against the Jets. Coach, what have you seen o Ryan Fitzpatrick over recent weeks? Oh? It was just a really good player. Has been a good player in this league for a long time and certainly has a comfort level playing in that system. He's smart, he's tough, you can really throw the ball anywhere. He

knows how to use the weapons. You know, he competes, He runs and makes plays with his feet, He stands in there and makes tough throws, and he just played very well, a lot of little plays for them and made a lot of big plays and has been really doing that all year long and has played particularly well these last few weeks. Is there a specific way that you can get him off this game early in the game or the girl always trying to affect the opposing

team's quarterback. I think everybody has that objective every week, and you know, you do that by rushing your down guys or bringing some pressures or you know, whatever you do defensively to somehow some way make that guy uncomfortable. So no different this week for us, and they're going to try to do the same thing to our quarterback. It's it's it's really one of the most critical parts of the game. But he's certainly playing with a lot

of confidence, you know. I think he understands that system really well. He understands where his weapons are and does a great job getting the wall. You touched on it a bit earlier. UM, with three games left, you have the Jets, Bills and Redskins. Whether you fall out of playoff contention or not, what do you want to see out of your team moving forward? UM? As the offseason approaches. Yeah, we're really not thinking about about that. We're thinking about,

you know, playing our best football on Saturday night. And and and that's really where our focus has to be. And it's a short week for us, and you know, today's a Wednesday, and players are coming in here shortly, and you know, we'll get in front of them and we'll clean up the game from Green Bay and again build on some of the positives and correct and the things that weren't you know, good enough, and we'll get our

eyes forward on the Jets very quickly. And uh, excited about this opportunity, and that's really where our focus is. And uh, you know, we believe that if you do that, you put good days on top of each other, that's when you're gonna play your best football. Is there something special about playing Saturday night football? Oh, it's exciting. It's

exciting to play on Saturday night. And uh, you know, anytime you play one of these off schedule games, whether it's Thanksgiving or Monday night or Saturday night, you know, it's a great opportunity for your team. So you have to embrace it and treat it as such. And and and that's certainly what our team is gonna do,
