Now back to winside the Jets on Nutty eight point seven ESPN. Here's Larry Hardisty and Eric Gallen. Now through November, visit Try State tire Pros dot com for a chance to win four tickets in pregame field passes to the Titans versus the New York Jets and December Try State Tire Pros, proud sponsor of the New York Jets. Speaking of Proud Larry, we are now joined by a proud Temple alumna, big Mole Mohammed Wilkerson, who leads to New

York Jets with five sacks this season. And I know you have to be happy your alma mater is undefeated and they have a huge game Saturday against the Notre Dame fighting Irish. Thanks for having the guys, and no, definitely proud of you know, my Temple boys and hopefully you know they get that big win, you know this weekend against the Notre Dame. How how closely do you keep in touch with the program and follow it the way now that you're in the in the NFL. I

try to watch the games when I can. If we have a home game, I try to shoot down there, you know, if they have a home game as well, you know, get down there and watch the game. And then, um, being from the new Elizabeth, I talked to the quarterback P J. Walker, who's from Elizabeth, So I talked to him a little bit. So I'm you know, I'm familiar and I talked to those guys. All right, So coach Bulls says that he wears Temple I'll gear every day. Do you see him every day in Temple gear every day?

You know he got a switch shirt shirt onto something. Then you know, I try to wear you know, my Temple gear as well, you know when I'm in facility to We talked about it before. Larry with the MO says, uh, Coach Bulls said this earlier. I said, this guy gets special privileges. He's a Temple guy, and they're both both local guys that bad bowls from here and of course Bo from Linden High School. Uh mo, yesterday, let's put it to bed. Your thoughts on that ball game, the

thirty three loss of the Patriots. I think we did a lot of good things and we did some things, uh, you know a lot of bad things. Well not a lot of bad things, but some of the stakes that we made was spared us to lose the game. And we learned from that about watching film today and we're going to get better the things we did positive and you know, things that we did wrong. Learn from everything. You know, get moved forward and get ready for Oakland, Mohammed.

When you look at it, when you review the video from yesterday, is it and you look at those corrections, is it we're right there? Just miscommunication on certain place or is it just listen, they made the place, We were right there, but guys made plays. I think there was just some communication and then uh on no part, you know, Tom Brady making plays. You know, it's that simple. Yeah, So you guys came the complex today. Todd Balls, I gotta imagine same. He's always study no matter what happens.

If you guys win, if you lose, whatever, what do you say to you guys? So you know, uh, just we gotta move forward and get ready for Oakland. We can't you know, do it on this loss. You know, at the end of the day we see them again, you know, at home. So you know, everybody's you know, looking forward to that. But right now, you know, just focus on Oakland and and make sure we doesn't you know, have the same mistakes you know that we had in New England, and you know which may cause us to

lose a game. You almost had your first interception of the year yesterday. Huh, that was a heck of an athletic play. We knew that. You know, those guys you know run some quick slants and you know try to get the ball out quick. And on that play, you know, I try to just defeat the cut block and get my hands up, you know, hopefully next time I catch it down. So if you caught that one, you know, a lot of green in front of you. I'm thinking you might have took that one back. The big man

would have been tumbling down. Did you be in so dance ready? No? No, any mom? And how tough is it though? To put that behind you and now get ready for for Oakland, which is another conference game, which are important because conference games and divisional games down the road are type breaker games. So well, everybody definitely wanted to get that one up to Foxborough. But I can said learn from it and move forward, and you know, get ready for Oakland. We got to travel out there.

You know a lot of different things that can be distractions. But you know, with the great retroan leaders we have in locker room, you know we're gonna be preparing ready for them. You said, great veteran leaders. You're a veteran now, and I know you've taken on some uh leadership in that locker room as well. Who are some guys that you look up to and say, hey, listen, those guys are what makes this room special. Because Brandon Marshall was saying that the other day, there's a special spirit in

here going on. We got we got guys like Dave Calvin, you know, Brandon Fits, you know Brick you know man go, you know I can you know, keep going. But having all those great, you know, older guys in the locker room who can keep the team together and then at the end of the day look up to them knowing that they're coming out there and they're you know, putting in working and working hard and making plays out there. So it's only the right that the younger guys you

know this follow What do you think about Fits? Brenno told me last week said, guys a hell of a competitor and he'll tuck that ball under and run. Wow, he took some shots yesterday, But he just keeps on getting up and he's ready to roll. He's definitely a tough competitor, you know, and just seeing the head that he took on the sideline, you know, and you know, just Iron, you know, he earned more respect from me, you know, just by him taking their head and getting

up and get ready for the next play. You see Fitzpatrick, you see Chris Harvey another guy that let those out punishment. What does that do defensively for you guys when you see your offensive guys fighting hard like that? What was that dude mindset for you guys? Well, we know that, you know pretty much. It just you know, breaking down that defense. You know, every single play, you know, Ivory, you know, Brandon out there and making play, stiffing and dbs.

You know, they pretty much just being out physical in that defense. And uh, that's what we want. So once we get out there on the field, you know, we wanted to do that to that offense. Sheldon Richardson is rejoined you guys up front, got back to actual two games under his belt. Now, he played a lot yesterday. How do you think he's doing since he's come back to the lineup, Well, Shelton is always gonna be himself and we know the type of that he can be.

And as you can see, went out there, you know, got there's two sacks and um, you know, he's gonna keep making plays for us and we're gonna keep getting better. He's he's only gonna help just de line up front get better. You know, Mohammed. Every time I turn around, I see something with you and your foundation. How the impact you're having with your foundation in the community. Talk a little bit about your foundation and some of the

things that you've been able to do. I think you know, this month, O had a breast cancer lunch and you know, my mom and my grandmother both survivors, and also had you know, a dinner um event at Morton's quill Well, me and my teammates, we were the waiters. So you know, it's a little things like that, you know that help out my foundation, just to give back to the community, you know, and that's what it's all about. You know.

I'm blessing and I'm happy that I could be, you know in a situation where Matt where I can help out others, and it's got to be more because you're from the area, and you're putting back into that every where you can. Oh, definitely, that's what makes it more special. So last Monday, you were at Morton's, you were waiting some tables. How did you handle that? I think I did you. Well, you know, Calvin was struggling a little bit. He was sweating, you know, back, you know, trying to

messed up a few orders. But you know I helped them out. Though. Well, how do we know who's gonna argue with you to tell you that their order was messed up. I'm not standing there saying I want my take my food back. Look at it you, I'm not gonna say that. Yeah, and you listen, I'll tell you what. These guys come out and support you because they know

how much it means to you. And what can you say about the guys in the room, Because when you go out in the community and you want them to participate in your events, a lot of guys come out. I think, you know, it's just the brotherhood that we have. And I don't want the field, but off the field as well. You know, it's it's not just my foundation. You know, everybody were always supporting each other, and you know that's what makes the bond that much special. Mommy

Welkers and thanks for joining us. Good luck Againstoakland the rest of the season down the road, thanks for having Thanks Mamma Welkers in
