Ran after watching the films yesterday's game, could you kind of give us a rundown of what in particular you liked about your performance in terms of maybe something that he didn't didn't notice at first glance, just in the in the heat of the game. I thought we we made some nice adjustments. I think Allow did a great job of stepping up and making some big plays for us. Um. You know, there are some there were some stuff that that we missed. Uh, you know that can get cleaned up.
But just you know, at the end of the game when we had to have it, we were able to score the necessary amount of points, but there's some stuff in the red zone we've got to get cleaned up. And you know, we can't settle for field goals and expect to win and continue to win games. Ryan, what do you think worked so well in particular during the fourth quarter and in overtime for the offense, because you guys really seem to be in a rhythm and and and and clear king and obviously didn't have to win
the game. Well, I think, Um, you know, we we started pushing the tempo a little bit and that was helpful for us. Um. You know that the drive, that deck got real involved. We were kind of on the ball and going and um, you know they had a hard hard time coming up with answers for that, just with you know, the the way that we were going fast and pushing the tempo. But um, we just had guys make plays. You know, Brandon stepped up and made
a time of plays. Thought the guys up front as the game went on and plays better and better, and uh, you know, we just had guys step up to make the plays when we need them most. Ryan, I'm wrong to go. You guys were you know, coming off the laws against the texting and things are so much different now just giving them two wins. What's the feeling right now? How much different does it feel after the wins against Miami and the Giants compared to then just a couple
of weeks ago. Well, we've we've got to go back to work now, and you know, we've got to win the next one. And like you know we talked about the last few weeks, as we continue to win games, the next one becomes that much more important and so, um, you know, it was nice. The feeling of locker room was awesome. Um, it was a great team win. Yesterday,
and um, you know today starts our shift. You know, we're shifting our focus the Tennessee and just figuring out, you know, the best way that we can get prepared for them. And you know, they're coming off a game where, um, you know, they're able to do some great things and so we're gonna have to be ready for him Ryan with four games less now it's still too soon for you guys to start thinking about the playoffs or he
had something that's on your mind. Yeah, we we you know, we'll just keep the same keep the same, uh, Montra, keep keep the same focus in terms of just you know, putting everything we have in the next opponent. And so we'll put everything we have into the next opponent and
you know, hopefully win another one this weekend. Did you at least look at, you know, at least peek at the scores to see how in Kansas City, in Houston and in Pittsburgh game yesterday, Yeah, I mean that that's obviously something you look at, you know, just to see how everybody else is doing. But at this point, you know, we've got ourselves in the situation where we've just got
to continue to win. After after the game um, it seems from watching it, you know, you have top holes jumping up and down immediately after the game, and what are you dancing? I guess in the locker room did it feel that I guess atmosph feel a little bit different. Was that the most um, I don't know, emotion you've seen out of Bowls or Woody are the team in general? Uh? Yeah, I mean it was an emotional win for us. Um, so it was. It was a great feeling in the
locker room. Everybody was was jumping around and excited. But I promised coach Bowls is not jumping around and excited. Uh, you know in the building today. He's focused on the next game and figuring out what we can do to beat Tennessee. So that it's a great feeling, but it's also a feeling that could go away quickly, you know, depending on how we play. And so we've just got to you know, continue to prepare like we've been preparing
and practicing in and going out there and trying to win. Ryan, considering the success you had when he went up Campbell there in the fourth quarter, has had that at any point this season been considered, you know, to use that maybe in a non pressure situation just to change it up at all and try to go some up tempo. Yeah, we we've done it a little bit of you know, I think we've been fairly successful, especially at the end of the half in terms of the up tempo stuff.
But um, you know with that, you just you've got to be able to get first downs obviously, but in terms of you know, sustaining drives and all that, if you we've we've done the up tempo a little bit and not being able to sustain drives and so you know, and then you're just putting your defense in a bad situation where you know they're not getting much time to take a breather on the on the bench, and so, UM, you know, it's something we always have, something we can
always go to, UM, but not necessarily something that we want to live in. Brian. Um, this is your best two games stretch obviously this season. UM, if you kind of assess yourself and and what do you think is you're doing better on a personal level right now and maybe you have been doing uh, you know earlier this year or during that kind of law that you guys had, Uh, I don't know, I mean, each each game is different. Each week is different, and so it's hard to kind
of put my finger on one thing. You know, I've just tried to stay consistent in terms of the way that I've prepared and approached every game. But I think you know that the chemistry with some of the guys the last few games has been really good, and just got to continue to work on that in practice and continue to show it in the games. But I think we've we've been on the same page the last few games.
You've did a pretty well protected quarterback this year. Haven't taken too many sacks or hits, but yesterday was probably the most. What would the jats doing in the first half that maybe he caught you guys off guard. Ah, They're just they're talented up front. You know, they've got some good pass rushers, and you know, some of it was how talented they were. Some of it was just you know, they were bringing guys maybe more guys we can block at times, and so it was a mixture
of things. Um, you know, a couple of those facts. I gotta get rid of the ball. Uh. But they you know, they did a nice job. They're always a tough opponent to go up against. Just with the way they're able to scheme things and also the talent to have upfront. How much were the penalties the topic of the conversation today, Ryan, Uh, well, I I didn't really we didn't have to sit down and eating or anything. So, M I'm sure it will be a drift on on Wednesday. Um,
but it's hard. It's hard to uh live in that world where you're gonna have a bunch of penalties and try to overcome it. Right in terms of your interstet um, just for four in the last seven games here after seven and the first five, why do you think those have dropped for you? Are you? Are you forcing things less? Um? I don't know if there's a is it a greater comfort level in your second go around with the offense? Like even the second half of this year. U. Every
every uniterseption has its own little story. Um, but I don't know. I mean, I'm I'm always trying to you know, not hurt of the team and play smart and all that. But UM, you know, it's just something I just strive and continue to try to get better at. Whether it's through my preparation to film work or um, you know, whether it's just getting little reminders on the sideline or even just you know, trying to play a smarter game
and talking to guys in the huddle about it. Uh you know, I just I know that turnovers are are a huge thing in this league. They really hurt your team. Where can help your team if you're getting them, And so that's something we always try to lend it and avoid. And Brandon reminded you at the end. You know, you guys haven't been to the playoffs in your careers. Is it's fun? I mean you're in a situation here, you're chasing you know, you're playing meaningful games in December, chasing
the playoffs. Spot. How fun is this for you to be in this situation? Yeah, this this whole year has been awesome, and a lot of it is just the team that we have, you know, coming to work every day is is great, you know, just because they've got guys that I love the game of football and love playing together, and so it is you know, it's great to be in this situation. Uh, you know, to be able to play meaningful games and December that's always the goal.
And uh, you know, it'll be a lot more fun if we continue to win
