You know, there's theatrics and then there's you know, the real guy. The real guy wasn't into all that,

Yeah, Actually his dad told him to do a lot of that. He said, hey, if people want to buy into this crap, just lean into it.

Yeah. His father was actually very supportive of him. That's cool. Face these things. Well, this is that sounds like a slab definitely worked out.

Oh yeah, Jimmy, I wouldn't worry too much about that. That's one of those catchphrases that's on his way out. I think my kids are telling me that that that's over now, but they definitely were into that this past year.

And if you go on Roadblocks, the the video game, all that stuff is like replete across that whole platform is crazy and these are little kids playing this stuff. I mean, is there a difference? I usually do ball caps but do have a cowboy hat.

Okay, so they're saying, if I understand this, that the baseball style hat is a baseball cap, and it's called I guess the proper name for it is a cap, a baseball cap, and that can encapsulate all different other things that don't have a baseball log on it.

But if you get any other kind of hat, like.

A top hat or a cowboy hat, like creative accents to saying that is a hat, or a derby hat is a hat. A padora would be a hat. But I guess those are true hats.

I dispute this because there's something called a snapcap, right, which has nothing to do with baseball.

Right, there's a dispute as to when baseball was invented, because Abner Doubleday is the story I always learned as a kid, and that was in eighteen thirty nine. However, there's a guy named Alexander Cartwright, which is allegedly also credited with inventing the game. Now, these are the people that settled down the rules, but obviously it was an evolution of different games. They came together over the course of a century or two. So that's the idea of baseball and how it was invented.

But this type and those oh I was just gonna say it occurred to that those early baseball hats from like the turn of the previous century, you know what, they strongly resembled because they were like higher up than what we call baseball hats. Then things looked just like Civil War mats if you think about it, and that kind of makes sense. That's that's kind of like baseball really got more popular, well some supposedly, Yeah, some.

Of them did.

And when you're talking about the time when people just like did it as a league and stuff, a lot of these guys brought their own hats.

At first, it wasn't part of the uniform just like they didn't add.

Numbers to the uniforms until way later. There were no numbers on the original baseball uniforms none.
