Bad Promises

It's one thing to give your word, but it's on another level when it's a promise or a vow. When you make promises there is often pressure or leeriness that accompanies the promise. Jephthah, a leader in Old Testament Israel, was surrounded by some promises that make him unforgettable and provide us with some valuable lessons.
