¶ Bonita Bonita Anniversary and Future
Welcome back to the Nikki and Brie show. Hello, Nikki. Hi, Brie. And happy birthday, Bonita Bonita speakeasy. I know. It turned one. It turned one. Not the actual wine. No. Hard tasting. Yes. But you know, it's really fun because, you know, our last episode when we were talking about when something for us is, you know, it's hard to keep open.
places and we've done it with bonita bonita heck yeah sis so that's been really great so we've learned a lot that's for sure and we actually have a lot of big things coming for that place a lot so the net with the next year it's like when you're gonna come that you're going to see it, you know, just growing, which is really fun. Bree and I are just waiting on some permits, but the plans that we had someone draw up for the outside space, it's like a French garden. It's...
Unreal amazing. We just have to wait for a few permits or we would have already had it done. So I cannot wait till we can do that project. I mean, the designs run real. And it's been really hard on me because I usually go in every weekend, but I haven't been in the last two or three weeks.
weekends. Yeah. So I'm going to get there this coming, well, not this, the next weekend. Yeah. You'll see Bree in there. We had a little Brian and Birdie pop in. I know. And they loved it. It was really, Birdie was like. I need to say hi to Emmy and Zach. And so Brian's like, okay. So they popped in and she loved it. I know. She loves it in there, which makes me so, so happy. Oh, I love it. I know. So Nicole, I thought it'd be really fun this episode.
¶ Summer Bucket List Season Begins
Um, to kind of talk about our summer bucket list. I mean, summer's right around the corner. I don't know about you, but I mean, I feel like probably in Arizona, I think this is the last week of school, but for us, I mean, we only have a couple more weeks and the kids are out. of school. Girl, I already got them summer nails. I mean, they look good. Yeah. I don't know what it is, but when I get acrylics like this,
coffin with this pink. I just feel so hot. I know. So I'm looking at your nails and I'm like, that looks really fun, but I'm going to get my nails done after this. And I think I'm going to do, um, you have to do fun. No. I just think I'm going to get them buffed. And then you, and then the buff, and then I feel like buff and the bush puff. Okay. I don't have a bush. But I will say this. I definitely am going to do your gels.
I know I'm getting my, I'm going to get gels for my toes, your toes. Cause then you're going to touch me and touch other things as you were just digging into your toenail. I was trying to take the nail off, but this is my thing. I think I'm going to stick with bubble bath. I wanted to go fun. So boring. But I love the look of like a new foot. I love it too. But right now is the time to have fun. You just talked about summer energy. Put it on your toes.
So no shine and buff, but I don't feel like doing the whole gels on my fingers. I mean, look, you don't have to, but YOLO for the nails. So why not? But like, look at how natural. So you picked your toes and then you're picking your nails. There's like a little thing under it. I mean, I can't let a little thing be under my fingernail. I mean, if you think about it, I've not had anything on my fingernails for over a year. They're so healthy.
Well, then don't if you don't want, but just have them trim them up. But toes at least go fun on your toes. We'll see. We will see. Well, Nikki is definitely channeling her summer fun with her. hot pink coffin nails for me. I feel like this summer I'm going to really try to channel, you know, it's funny every year. I feel like there was hot girl summer last year was brat. What was it? Green or brat summer.
I'm feeling, what's this summer going to be? I don't know, but I can't wait for it. I like when Gen Z's come up with names. Is that what they, they're the ones? I feel like it's the Gen Z's that do that. Yeah. Yeah. They're good at it.
¶ Nikki's Swimsuit Confidence Goal
Is there something like on your summer bucket list that you're going to make happen this summer? Okay. So because I've been training really hard and I don't know, I, my goal would be. By Mateo's birthday, which is July 31st, that I actually will be the first time in five years that I feel comfortable putting a swimsuit on. Like bikini.
So that's kind of like my goals. And I feel like with like how hard I've been lifting, I could get there. I just, I, you know, I've had moments of being semi confident. in a swimsuit, but not really, not since Tao. So I would love like, okay, he's turned five. I'm now, I've been working this long now with a trainer, this and that. So that's my goal, my summer goal. That's good. Yeah.
I mean, I'm the same, but you know, I kind of feel like I'll wear it and now I don't really care. I'm like, yeah, I feel good. And that's all what matters. As long as if you feel good, right? Like go out and rock. I'm just like, I wear one pieces, but I'm not really a one piece person. So I get torn. Sometimes I love one piece, but then I hate that I don't get tan on my stomach. The thing is, is like my legs ain't my thing. Like I love my legs and I have strong muscular legs.
but my body type just is always looked so much better in a two piece than a one piece. But like, you know, it's like trying to find that balance. I'm at the pool with Tay, like, you know, to. not be too sexy, but also, I don't know. My thighs have always been my insecurity. You know, this for sure. I've always had issues with that. And I've been loving, like I wear the shorts with my one piece, but, um, I want to be able to like rock.
not have to wear shorts, show my legs and like feel confident. That's my summer energy. Well, I love wearing shorts. Like that's my thing, but all, you know, I'm always like, well, cause as a mom, you're always bending over. So it's nice when you wear shorts. Cause you're always
running over, grabbing them, running after them. I mean, I ran after Tay and I just think of everyone at the pool and I'm just have thighs slapping. And I'm like, this is like why I put on my shorts. You know what I mean? You just, it's like you're chasing kids.
I don't want to be in like, you know, like my butt cheeks hanging. Well, I will say actually I like wearing shorts during the day when I'm out doing things. Cause I hate feeling really hot, but I do love swimsuit coverups. I like the sheer ones. I feel like you can keep it on the whole time. Totally. And then it's almost like your sunscreen. Like I wear sunscreen, but then it's also like a sunscreen.
What's your, your summer goal or what is it? You asked me my summer goal or bucket list. Oh, but that was like a good bucket list. Mine. I mean, shit, real bucket list would be like, get me back to like Como. Well, there you go. That's like a good bucket list. I miss Lake Como. That 40th birthday trip was bomb. I mean, no one could have a better one. Honestly. I would challenge anyone. Yeah. It was so good. Yeah. Well, definitely number one is.
¶ Kids Swim Goals and Brian's Dog Paddle
having my kids be confident swimmers. Oh gosh. Seriously. I don't the name in that place. We need, I need, I know to call them, but I will say this. I don't know why they're not, it's not clicking, but it clicked with buddy last year and he was so great. And then it's like, cause we've been out of it a little bit. Now I'm starting to pick up a little bit.
But it's weird to me because we are such great swimmers at a young age. So, um, with them, it's like, and I'm trying to explain like a consistent class or coach. And I think that's like. like what you need. You need to have a really good swim teacher and it has to be consistent. But we in Napa Valley, there's not a place that's all year long. Like I've seen some of like,
People in Salt Lake City, they have an indoor swim lesson place that they go all year long. It's like doing dance class or t-ball. They're always in it. See here, we don't, we don't have that. And then, I mean, I was going to take Taylor to the pool the other day and the wind picked up and because of ear infections, I'm like, I can't take him to the pool. We need like a good indoor place. That's for training.
But Brian and I, that's like both our big goal this summer. We're like, we're going to make our kids great swimmers. We're at the end of the summer. He and I are going to be like, fine. That's my goal. That's a good goal. It's a good one. Yeah. And so we're definitely, I mean, Brian.
He needs to learn how to swim. I mean, yeah. He dog, Brian only knows how to dog paddle. That's wild. And he's one hell of a dog paddler. Let me tell you. Yeah. Like I'm sometimes impressed. Yeah. Especially when he used to have his big beard and his long hair. And when you'd see him like dog paddling around.
people thought he was joking yeah but he did look like an animal like i was just like i'll never forget our first time we all saw that like well at least john and i won't and we were filming i think divas total divas but we were just mind blown we were like
Yeah. Cause he jumped off the thing and just started dog pedaling. I mean, when Brian and I go kayaking, I make him wear a life jacket. Oh, you have to. I mean, I wear one too, but sometimes like you should always wear, I know, but where we're at, like, like I like to swim, but with him, I'm like, Nope. Because I ain't trying to grab you and, and put you on my back. No, but I mean, so I really have a whole household of not great swimmers. Yeah.
And Frenchies. They don't know. They sink. Yeah. So I'm just like. So that's like a big thing for me this year or this summer. That's like number one.
¶ Summer Running and Cooking Plans
And if I can conquer that, I will be the happiest mother around. And then I guess for me too, it's, um, I always go up to the lake for the summer and that's always where I kickstart my running. I know. that's where I kick off my running again. Yeah. It's kind of run there a lot, a lot. And you know, since I've moved away kind of from you, I have not been running at all.
And I was telling you, I miss it a lot. Well, that's why you stay close to your girl because we were there for each other all the time. Well, cause I used to run on my own. But then I kind of felt like I don't like doing that anymore. I have my headphones in. I can't hear anything. I never, when I'm by myself walking or running, I never have both headphones in. Right. Whatever's facing the cars.
Like on the road, that ear is always out. Right. So I had to go gluten-free, right? And I'm like, bummed me out. It bummed me out that all of a sudden I took, there was foods I love that were taken. Yeah. This is the thing with running.
We live in a world nowadays where you can't trust people. And you don't know, even if you live in a safe community, you don't know who's in and out running, especially a woman by herself. You're a target. Yeah. It's one of those things that I feel like we have to give up. No, it's unless you're in a group.
Okay. Too many stories. Yeah. There's too many. And like, you know, so for me, it's like, I have to go on a treadmill and that's, I'm going to go with you or Brian or something. But, um, but Tahoe, I go to this one. where there's a bunch of people. Yeah. Where it's made. It's like, no one can like, yeah, it's made for that. So it's like, nice. And I'll just go back and forth. I don't care.
Um, so that's like really, that's kind of fun that you get to look forward to that first summer, you know, and then just, you know, if you can invest in a treadmill here, if you really get the hang of it, I have a gym I go to. Oh yeah. But I, um, Like, I love how I turned my one room into a gym now.
And it just happened. It's been a few days, but like to now have a treadmill inside. That's great. Yeah. Yeah. So that's like a big thing. Getting back into running always makes me feel so good, especially when you do it up in the mountains. Like I'm always like so out of breath in the beginning. because you realize what the altitude does. Yeah. But it's amazing what it does to my endurance.
And so I always feel really great. And I always love how like my knees and my legs start to look like it's so that's like big on my bucket list. And then I told Brian, it's so funny, um, to get back into cooking. Like, you know, my cooking I've done lately, my kids are very simple eaters. Very. And then same with Tay.
But then what it does is like, it makes me not want to cook. Cause then it's, even though I did make Brian and I had this incredible stir fry the other day and I'm like, I need to do this more. Um, but sometimes I'm like, uh, I don't know, but I'm like, wait.
It shouldn't be, I don't know. I need to just do it for you and I then Brian. Right. So I have a bunch of like different recipe ideas. I love their farmer's market up there. And I go, chef Brie is coming back. Yeah. And I'm like, I have, you know, cause. majority of our family now we're gluten-free dairy-free so I've already researched some great recipes and I'm like I'm gonna do it yeah dang you're gonna have like eat pray love summer
Yeah, it's nice by the lake. You're so lucky. I'm, um, I want to do the same with cooking because I have a lot of great recipes and one of my other goals, and I know I was speaking to you about this. It was just like less sugar for Tao and, you know, even for myself, but we love sweets and chocolate. I mean, he'll tell you and everyone else. We, I passed that down. Yes. And I'm like, Oh, I already have mom guilt over it. But I was like, you know, I've have, um,
pretty much she's like kind of a nutritionist and all these other things in my life right now. So she gave me a ton of recipes. And for Tao to help with that and myself, like, okay, these are the things you need to make and always have in your fridge. So when you two get sweet tooths and, um, that's what I really, that's like my goal. Cause here I have all these recipes and I haven't even started to do them and I need to.
And, you know, Brian would always make this. Remember when you make all his avocado? Yeah. Mousse. That one. And then the Whole30. What's the Whole30 they have you put in the freezer with the dates? I don't remember. Those are like my favorite, favorite. That cures my craving instantly. What is it called? I'll have to get it. I'll look for it. I still have the recipe book. Yeah. So.
I told Brian, you need to start making that. But you know, it's interesting because Emily, we were talking and she was sending me some great. um, that's the nutritionist Nicole's talking about who did a lot of our, our kids testing. And we did some testing with, but we should actually bring her on the podcast. Cause now we should now that, you know, we're going to have our kids home all summer. Like we're all getting to that place. We should bring her on.
because you guys, she has the best idea for, you're going to die, bone broth, popsicles. for kids, but they won't even realize it. Like she gives us these amazing recipes. And that's why I'm so mad I haven't done it because it's the most incredible stuff that our kids need without them even realizing it.
We'll bring her on so she can like give everyone, inspire all of you to be the healthiest chefs this summer. Cause I will say this like summer, summer fun is definitely a thing. Like at my house, Friday nights, like our fun night. Yeah. And, um, so. We definitely like, I don't, I'm not strict or crazy, but I, you know, I'm always like health is important.
And I always feel like summer's that one time where you can just really get into the hang of like cooking and having the family around and just, you know, all the fun stuff. Like Brian's been teaching the kids to play Clue.
¶ Summer Activities: Games, Reading, Toys
Oh, and they're loving it. Yeah. And so Brian's really great. And you know, also good with Brittany of sitting the kids down and really teaching them board games, but you guys buddy plays more board games. than anyone I know. Like even when we're alone here at the house, he will just sit and he'll play like against himself. And then Birdie's our reader, but Brian really works with them. So I really recommend this summer.
Like bring in the board games. It's really fun. Like I'll admit sometimes I'm like, cause they'll be like, let's play a board game. And sometimes my first reaction internally is like, oh yeah. And then when I sit down and do it, I'm having so much fun until, you know, like. Someone gets upset, you know, because someone wins. But, you know, for me, it's really fun.
to actually sit and play with your kids. And I love looking at their little eyes and seeing their brains think and their little hands moving. But I really, I always feel like summer's so great to bring in the reading, the board games, like all the fun things. Oh, reading for sure. Yeah. Tao the other night wanted to sit and do an over 500 piece, um, Lego plane. And I'm like, I'm so sorry. I just can't. And then he, he told me I broke his heart. I don't love him. I'm like, that's not, I go.
We'll save that for daddy. Like you and I, he, he and Artem built the whole thing. But I look at that and my mind is like all these different bags of pieces and stuff. I'm like, I would do anything to play board game, but to put together a 561 piece Lego set. Yeah. He is obsessed with Legos. I mean, you see it. obsession he could say i got the lego table i wish i could build legos i can't i could do big building blocks i'll do some love the magnetic building tiles yeah no i crushed on those
Well, you know what I love is that birdie, you know, so into her dolls and you guys, I caught myself the other day. I like sat down cause I was cleaning up her room. She was at school and I was like, oh, I think this doll should actually be over here. And I'm like tucking her into bed. And I'm like, you know, this one actually needs to be sitting here.
And I'm like, next thing you know, like 20 minutes goes by and I did this whole doll scene. Oh my gosh. I know, but I actually had so much fun. And I like one of them, like her hair piece was coming off. So I was like putting the Bretts back in. Like everyone. for it cleaned up, dolled up, put in a good place to enjoy their little day. I love it. Well, you know, the one I have for tail upstairs, it's, it's not like birds. Oh yeah. Yeah. But just, you know,
And I like having that so he can learn about, you know, rooms, families, whatever. But I found myself one day, I was like reorganized the whole thing. Like I did every room up. Yeah. Like here, this is a kitchen. This is how it should be in the bathroom, how the TV should face. And I'm like.
all of a sudden I was like, wait, what am I doing? And I did the whole thing. Yeah. And Birdie's very much into the American girl dolls, right? Yeah, she is. And they're a pretty panty, let me tell you. But I mean, she only has two. And then I... She has these other ones, but they have Nicole. We would have died as young girls. There's scenes. We had cabbage patch kids.
And Barbie. We loved Barbies. Did we love Barbies? Well, we cut off all their hairs. Yeah. As if it would grow back. I felt like we had them for a bit. I guess we weren't into it. We weren't really into dolls at all. Or stuffed animals. Did you see what I got birdie for a birthday? No. So like they all have their own little locker and like a desk. Oh gosh, girl. And like.
Like you have to see like the computer. Oh my gosh. It's like, I saw it and I was like, it kind of adds on from her little tree house. Oh my gosh. I know. I know. It's like, it's weird. It's like almost, I don't, it's soothing to me. Like when I sit and I do it.
It's like, I don't know. Yeah. Like that's what they say when you color. I mean, I like the app impulse and I do candy sort. See, I can't do any of the games. Really? See that night when I can't sleep and I'm like, I don't want to go look at Instagram. Cause that.
¶ Summer TV Show Recommendations
hours go by. I go do candy sort and it makes me, it's the purpose of the candy sort is to relax the brain and then you feel. But this, it's interesting because you told Brian and I to watch the one TV series from Netflix, four seasons. But I didn't say like it was spectacular. and it should win awards. Depressing to me, but it's okay. Why does Steve Carell like die in everything now? I'm like, geez. Now you just spoiled it for everyone. But I will say what made me sad.
is like the part of them showing that part of their marriage. I know, but how good. I know, where she's always on the farm thing, the screen, and I was like. But then in the end, how he. I know. Because he was unhappy then in his relationship. No, look at, I have goosebumps. I thought there was a lot of great me. I guess that's why I said to.
to watch it. I thought there was a lot of great meaning in each individual relationship for sure. I never said, Hey, you're going to get a giggle, go watch four seasons. But I think you should have told me like, Hey, it's sad. You never said sad. Well, you actually made me think I was going to giggle, to be honest, the way you put it over. Now, I will say I love Tina Fey and I like the way she writes.
all spectacular actors. So for me, I was like, good, but nothing made me feel good. No. And sometimes I'm in that place in my life where I need to laugh and feel good. Like Brian and I are watching. Had some moments, gave you a little bit of hope.
little hope spots i mean kind of yes but overall and how amazing was the one who steve's wife is her fashion and everything it was so cute yeah and i just felt bad for ann i felt terrible for ann And then the whole ending, then I was like, there's no big hope spots for Anne, but then it was kind of, but not really when Anne was like, when she saw the photos of him and then it actually gave her closure of.
Wow. He was really happy. I thought like, I don't know. You had to look at it bigger, girl, bigger picture. I kind of tried. I tried. And then I just, I liked it. Yeah. Not my thing. And then the ending, not my thing. The daughter with the theater. Hilarious. Love that. I thought that was hilarious. That's what I was saying. There were some moments.
But also was laughing at, because she's like, turn it out apart. And then she comes out with the wit as the, Oh, I know. So good. But I will say that actual ending Brian and I were like, no, no, they do not end it this way. We had to turn off. We're like, see. Another thing to make you feel weird and bad.
Well, yes. Yeah. But I mean, that's because, you know, when you want hope for a season two and with a bang. All right. Well, Brian and I, because Nicole had us watch that, we weren't feeling good. We came across a show, which is. older, but it's called AP Biology. Oh yeah, you were telling me. Oh my goodness. I need to look that one up. 20 minutes of laughing. If you just want to laugh.
20 minutes. It's like a teacher who's got fired from Harvard, but he's trying to get revenge on his nemesis who he feels fired him. And so he's a teacher at, we had to go back to Toledo, Ohio and be a teacher at the school. But it's so funny. I love it. I was like, Brian and I are like, see 20 minutes of laughing and then we get to read a little bit and then go to bed. Well, that's why I keep telling you guys to watch Abba Kenny.
Did I say that right? Well, so I watched it. That one's so funny. Yeah. Well, so this is the thing is you start to overwhelm Brian by saying we should watch this and this. And then he's like, no, no, no. I got to take.
months off TV after this. And then when we saw AP biology, we were like, this is so funny. And we saw there's four seasons and Brian's like, we can't watch all four. Oh my gosh. I love when I get into series and there's four seasons. So I'm like that, but Brian, that's like, no, that's too much.
much TV and like, we're going to want to know. And so it's very overwhelming for him, but it cracks me up because I was like, you know, summer's coming up and I'm like, you got to start thinking about some of the shows.
¶ Planning Your Summer Reading
Got to put your reading list together. But that's the thing about summer, which I love is like you put your list together of your goals, things you want to do. I feel like it's always the time when people start to really read. I know I'm. Totally. Have my reading lister together. Watch some fun shows. Yeah. I want to feel like that. Well, make sure to share yourself too, Bree, on social. Your recipes that you're doing. I do need to do that. You do. And then your books.
Cause you need to also don't forget about the referrals for me, but I kind of want to be that way too. I want to get a little Betty Crocker, a little Stephen King. Just kidding. No, you don't. Yeah. A little. What's the other, what's the good one? You can just say a little Brian Danielson. Yeah, but I want like more. You want to read a book a week? Okay, how about this? I want to get a little like Martha Stewart and Reese Witherspoon.
Oh, there you go. Right? Yeah. Okay. That's good. Well, then why don't you just follow Reese's book club? Yeah, I should. I mean, isn't, is that experienced readers? Cause your girl experienced reader. No, not at all. They're all female authors saying, I love that. Yeah. You know me. Yeah. Like the feminine touch.
¶ Summer Song Association Game & Wrap-Up
Okay, Brie, you want to take me on in a game? Yes. Okay, so it's called Summer Song Association. Now, this game is where we're given a word, and it's going to be from someone else, not me. And we have to say or sing a song lyric that has the word in it. And then we see how many we can get right. So for example, the word is tonight. Then one of us would yell out or talk out waiting for tonight by JLo. Ooh, okay. I get it. All right.
Hot. I like it like that. Some like it hot. Marilyn Monroe. Oh God, no. It's getting hot in here, Nelly. It's getting hot in here. Yeah. Shots, shots, shots, shots, shots, shots. No, I said it first. Shots. But I don't know. Everybody. A pit bull. That's not Pitbull. That's not? No, it's whoever says it first. Um, no, it's, um, what are the guys? The one guy looks like Carlito. Oh no, nevermind.
L-M-O or F-M-O. No, it's not. No, Shot, Shot, Shots are Lil Wayne. Shoot. Anyways, Shot, Shot, Shot, Shots. I got that. Is that the song? Yeah, I think it's Two to Me, Zero to You. No, I definitely got the first one. I beat you. No. You did not. Tan. Tan. Tan. Tan. It might be something laying in the sun. Um, is there a good, uh, a son? Um, no, we need to go next. Okay. Next wild. Oh my gosh. Uh, by flow writer, wild ones, flow writer.
I heard you were a wild one. Oh, I love that song. That's like on my treadmill list. Kiss. Oh, I kissed a girl and I liked it. By Katy Perry. Okay, yeah. Okay. Not on my summer list, but road. Country roads. That'd be on my summer list. Good girl. Which version? OG or would you throw in a little bit of jelly roll? I do both back and forth. I think John Denver. I just go straight up. Acoustic. Yeah. Nothing beats. Nothing beats though. Oh, gee.
Ice, ice, baby. I mean, you have to. Yeah, I have to. Yeah. You need to get up and just move. I could imagine people. Yeah. Summer buzz. Want to get a little funky. Yeah. I mean, there's probably a gazillion other songs, but Ice Ice Baby came to mind. Yep. More 90s girls. Dance. Gosh. Dance. I mean, every song has it, but I can't even think. I know. Dang. I can't think. Come on, there has to be a Shakira dance song. No, I mean.
There's Balamos. Does that count? There you go. A little Enrique Iglesias. Yeah, we'll go with Balamos. Balamos. That's all I could think about. Forever. Forever, ever. Forever, ever. Oh, yeah. I love that song. What's his name? I sat next to him on a plane one time. Oh, my God. I love him. Oh, it's going to kill me. I can like see his name. Yeah. And what's the song? Miss, Miss. Sorry, Miss Jackson. I got or I am for real. Never meant to make your daughter cry. I apologize.
Oh my God. Andre 3000. How funny that we see forever. That's a week. Water. Huh. Water. Water. It's like tan. I don't even know. And there's probably so many summer songs with water. I know. I think you have to skip that. I know. How? Beach. Shoot. I mean, I think beach boys, they have to have something with a beach in it, right? I mean, yeah. I mean, I think of down in the locomotive. Oh, yeah.
Jamaica or Jamaica. Girl, I want to take you down. Bermuda, Bahama. Come on, baby mama. Baby mama. Pretty mama. Oh. Baby mama, come on, girl. That's how someone else would sing it. Down to Coca-Cola. We'll take it fast and then we'll get there faster and then we'll take it slow. That's okay. Yeah. That's it. Drink. I mean, shoot. Shots just came back to my head. Shots, shots, shots, shots. I mean, that one gets some stuff. Oh, I know. Red cup. Red solo cup. I'm here to party.
Rest in peace. Okay. We'll pretend that drink with this red solo cup. That's perfect. Party. Party in the USA, Miley Cyrus. Yeah. That's a good one. I mean, my kids sing it every day. It was like a summer anthem too that year. Oh, whiskey. I mean, Chris Stapleton. We have to. Why can't I even sing the song right now? Yeah. I sing it all the time. Oh my goodness. Girly girl. It's going to kill me.
You have to look it up or my brain will hurt too bad. I don't mind Tennessee whiskey. Tennessee whiskey. Oh, yes. Yep. Okay. Cruise. I don't even know if I know a song with cruise in it. I mean, we have to. Cruise in. Cruising in the street in my six four. It's like that. And it's like this. What's that song? That's LMFAO, right? No, that's like way. This is like 90s. Oh, is it not Beastie Boys? Yes.
Beastie Boys. Wait, are you sure? Yeah. Cruising down the street. Yes. Now I gotta... But that's a good one. No. It's from Boys in the Hood by Eazy-E. Oh, Eazy-E. I was going to say, I didn't think Beastie Boys. Eazy-E. Oh, that takes me back. That takes me back to X Games, Monster Parties. Yes. I loved Eazy-E.
Oh my gosh. I need to watch that movie. By the way, you know, we're going to get made fun of so bad. I know. But mom brain, that's what I'm blaming. Boys in the hood. I forgot about that movie. Such a good movie. Shake. There was one right before it horse, but. But Ride a Horse, Save a Cowboy. There you go. Good song. Okay, Shake. Shake that thing. Shake that thing. Yeah, dang. Pitbull? That is not Pitbull. I think it's Lil Wayne.
No, that is pit bull. Oh yeah. You're right. Yeah. Club. I mean, 50 cent in the club. Everyone gets excited. Have you seen 50 cent on Instagram? It looks the same. Well, I mean that too, but he's, you haven't seen what he's been doing about the P. Diddy trail? No. Oh girl. Now you got to go do that. Go watch him. Free. I mean, free bird, Leonard Skinner. Oh, heck yeah. I think so. Good girl.
Love. Love. Oh, you know what first comes to mind? Is it not King Cole? Love is dun-dun-dun-dun-dun tonight. Or is it Frank? Love is just the way. Well, I think originally it's Nat King Cole girl. L.O.V. Summer. We have to do a little bit of sublime. Summertime. I know. Bottle rock. Super amazing. I'm so sad. Green day and sublime being the same night is awesome. I know.
So good. Ride. I want to take a ride with me. Oh, a little Nelly. I love Nelly. Those jams. Okay. Yeah. Oh, then fly. I just want to fly. Oh, you went to Sugar Ray. Yeah. but now you got it out of my head. Um, cause I was singing that song with Nellie and the, you so fly. Oh, the butterfly. Um, he passed away my lady. No, he didn't pass away. You're thinking Lincoln part. No, not Lincoln, but that guy did too. Yeah. Wow.
I think within the year. Wow. That's sad. Night. That's a good one. Okay, skip. Truck. I mean, the Carrie Underwood one. A cheat? That's so good. Yeah, that is good. I like at least the Luke Bryan and KC Musgrave song, and they talk about the truck, like the dog and daddy's just like. In the daddy's truck. I don't know. We'll go with yours. Yeah. What was yours? Carrie Underwood. Oh yeah. And I put my keys in his truck. Lake. Okay. Lake's a good one to end on. Hmm.
Hmm. We have to know a song with Lake in it. This is what I'm going to end ours with because this is a summer anthem for me. Chicken Fred. Chicken fried? Yes. I feel like it's been your summer anthem for years. Yeah, and it never changes. Sac Brown Band. The best. You need something new. Never. Never. Well, my lake song of the year or of the summer will be Chicken Fred. No. Let me look real quick. What was one of the last songs I downloaded? Boo.
I know what it is. It's the one Demi Lovato song, Skyscraper. Because my buddy has that on repeat. All right. Well, that was a tie. Yeah, that was a tie. We always end it on chicken fried.
