Matt discussed the BRICS (Brazil Russia India China South Africa) meetup to discuss expanding the economic alliance as a greater parallel to the G7 (the 7 largest global economies).
By the time of this upload, the BRICS members have voted to expand in 2024 to include additional heavyweights like Iran.
Russia and China view the G7 as competitors in global dominance. Brazil, India, and South Africa appreciate their working, trading, and cultural history with western nations. Quite an interesting cake that is being baked.
