This week's episode of The Nehemiah Project podcast tackles an issue that often comes up in the counseling room: trauma. Intake Director, Laura Coley, explains what trauma actually is, and how the brain interprets and stores traumatic memories differently. There are various manifestations of trauma - from symptoms of PTSD to embracing an attitude of shame and powerlessness. Yet, God can heal all our wounds.
