After returning from Afghanistan, he worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency and attended Georgetown University. Craig is currently traveling the US with his dog, Fred, who he rescued from Afghanistan, promoting his new book "Second Chances" about a marine, his dog, and finding redemption.
