Hey, what up fam? Welcome to the Daily Drip here on the Growthcast. My name is Dallas Pruitt. You are with me Monday through Thursday for mental skills, mental performance, and the Daily Drip. And today we are talking about responsibility. Look, whatever it is you are trying to accomplish, it's important to regularly, and I mean regularly remind.

This is what I signed up for when you said you were going to become whatever it is you are aspiring to become, you aspire to become. It's important to remind yourself that there are certain responsibilities that come with that commitment. Whether it's a promotion you are working on becoming an investor or becoming a starter on the field of battle.

The court, whatever, when you do what is required to be and become even better at whatever that is for you, today's an invitation to not act like you are supposed to get some type of special treatment for that. Don't fall into the trap of the handout or entitlement. If you wanna become elite and surpass average, you're supposed to work hard.

You are supposed to do more than what is required. You are supposed to dedicate yourself to something higher than yourself. You are supposed to be committed to something. Today's better question is, are you concretely committed or are you stuck in the shallow. Question yourself. Am I going to stay true to what I said I was going to do long after I said I was going to do it, or when I was in the mood of saying I was going to do it?

If you are going to do it, you must be committed to the process of doing it and continually remove yourself further away from the results that come by doing it. And what I mean by continually remove yourself further away. I mean emotionally from those results, detach emotionally from those results and attach emotionally to the work.

Most of all, right? Or sorry, most of us that listen to the growth cast we all signed up for. Something we're aspiring to become something to accomplish something, right? This today is an important thought process. We almost come back to whatever it is you are working on becoming. You signed up for it. It was your choice.

It's normal to want that external pat on the back. However, the invite today is to get to a point that you don't need, that you don't need that external pat on the back. Instead, remind yourself, this is what I wanted. This is what I chose. This is my path. I am committed no matter the results right now, no matter the recognition, if you signed up for this, you need to remind yourself about what comes with it, and more importantly, you need to cultivate the right mentality where you are ready to receive it.

All of it, the good, the bad, all the work, whatever it is you signed up for. Fulfillment comes from the act of. Whatever it is you set your mind to do. The mental note today as we close out, the process of doing something has to mean more than the product of getting it done. That's how you become, that's how you succeed.

That's what we mean when we say process over results. All right, everybody. Make it a great day. Commit to the day via the process, all the work that stands in front of you, no matter the results that come today and beyond. Have a great one, everyone, and we will see you guys back here again on the Daily tomorrow.
