Hey everybody! My name is Dallas Pruitt, and this is the Daily Drip here on the Growthcast. When you worry about the things you can't control, those things end up controlling you. Controlling the controllables is a skill that you must continue to cultivate and strengthen a lot in this. There is a lot right that you can't control.
That being said, there are some very powerful things that you actually can control. What I wanna do today is simplify these controllables down to three powerful actions. By gaining control of these three things more regularly, you will see a huge impact all around you in all that you do. So here they.
What you do, what you say, and what you think. Before we dive into these three things, I wanna bring to light what is actually out of your control, what other people do. What other people say and what other people think. It's really interesting how that works. Today is a reminder that we don't control what happens, but we do control how we respond to what happens.
If there was a fundamental task in life, this would be it. To identify what matters so that you can separate it and clearly say to yourself what is not under your control, and what choices you actually have that are under your control. Find power in the fact that you do control what you do. You do control what you say.
You have control over what you think. There in lies three things lies your power to change and your power to change your world for the better, which inevitably changes the world for the better for others. Control the controllables and make it a great day, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
