Hey guys, this is the Daily Drip with me, Dallas Pruit here on the Growth Cast. And before I jump into today's episode, I wanted to give a quick shout out to Jo Joaquin Bay, Quin underscore Bay seven. Now, if I pronounce that incorrect, I apologize. Uh, but I want to, I just wanna say thanks for the review.

We've began getting a lot of these lately, and this is. This person had to say The growth cast is an outstanding momentum builder. I start each and every day with the daily drip and it sets my mind right and gives me a whole different perspective on ways to plan and execute on my goals. I'd high. I'd highly recommend giving this a listen.

Now. Thank you again for the five star review. We appreciate you so much. Um, And again, we're just grateful for all of you. Please continue to send those reviews, uh, in and rate the podcast so that we can continue to increase, uh, our audience. All right, so today I wanted to talk about how to break ground people like Jackie Robinson and Elon Musk.

These are names that come to mind when many. Think about breaking ground or groundbreaking work. Breaking ground means you are doing something different, something that hap you know, really hasn't been done. When you break ground, you stand out. Now, breaking ground isn't necessary for growth or however, in any industry.

It's important to not get stuck in just doing things the way they've always been. If you want to increase in opportunity, if you want to provide more value, groundbreaking work should be within your peripheral vision. This, this should be part of your emphasis, right? Growing. If you want to increase the return on what it is you are doing, you have to be willing to take risks.

Everybody does. You have to be willing to, you know, quote unquote break ground, taking calculated risks that pay off is the way we increase our return. There is an electrical engineer by the name of Seymour Cray. He's made Nu numerous improvements to computer performance, and he's well known as one of the creators of the Supercomputing super computing industry.

Here is what he has to say about the importance of groundbreaking work. He says, one of my guiding principles is don't do anything that other people are doing. Always do something a little different if you can. The concept is that if you do it a little differently, there is a greater potential for reward than if you do the same thing that other people are doing.

I think. I think that this kind of goal for one's work, having obvious, having obviously the maximum risk. Would have the maximum reward no matter what the field may be. I love this. This paragraph from an interview that he did, and it said, what I wanted to do here is just invite, right? Today's invite is whatever you do, look for ways to do it a little different.

Be a groundbreaker break ground. Feed your creativity and increase your productivity. Take a little risk or a lot of risk. Just make sure it's calculated, and this is how you will increase your reward. All right? Every. Hopefully able to grab something of high value today with today's drip. Make it a great one, and we will see you.

Back here again tomorrow.
