What up guys? I'm Dallas Pruitt and welcome to today's Drip here on the Growthcast. Burnout is a real thing. It's something that you might have experienced before or maybe you even. Or in a spot right now where you're currently experiencing it. Either way, it's something to be aware of and there are a number of contributing factors that we must pay attention to that cause it.
Oftentimes the default assessment or what we think it is, the culprit or the reason to us experiencing burnout is I'm burned out because I've got too much on my. Today. I want to invite everyone to think bigger because the answer oftentimes more times than not is actually found in going the opposite direction.
Oftentimes, burnout is actually a result of doing too little of the things you love and the things that energize you, not because you are doing too much. So ask yourself today, am I filling my tank? My energy tank up as of late. Instead of focusing on that big workload, which if you are truly striving to make an impact, you will definitely have leaders.
Plates are full most of the time instead of focusing on that big workload, take notice of how many times you've done something in the past while that energizes you. Are you making time for these things that energize you? Are you. Stuck in over-emphasizing components of the work right now that drain you and are you not emphasizing or focusing enough on the parts of your work or job that truly.
Drive you bring fulfillment and energize you. Burnout can and will happen to anyone who doesn't focus regularly on the things that energize them. Burnout, yes, it can come from a heavy workload, but most of the time this isn't the culprit. This isn't the piece we should be paying the most attention to.
Most of the time, burnout is a result of not prioritizing your focus on the things. Make you better. The things that energize you, the things you love, skewed perspective and lackluster action in areas that energize. That's the real culprit. So today, the invite is to take notice again. Are you filling your tank up as of late?
Are you focusing on and over-emphasizing the big workload, or are you taking it all in stride while making time for priorities that energize you and make you better? Make a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
