Hey, what's going on everybody? My name is Dallas Pruitt, and welcome to the Daily Drip here on the Growthcast. So many times in the process of growing and creating and achieving in our lives and our businesses we hyper focus on whatever the result is we want, whatever the outcome is that we're working towards.
and that's good gaining clarity, meaning to have clarity on whatever those outcomes and results are that we want. It's crucial. It's important to have clarity on those things. However, it is a trap of sorts to hyper focus on those outcomes, on those results regularly. Once clarity has been gained, and this is a state of mind that many people live in, which is extremely problematic.
I wanna read this quote by James Clear today to help bring this full circle with what today's focus is to what today's point is With the Drip, he states that the person who consumes from better sources gets better thoughts. The person who asks better questions gets better answers, and the person who builds better habits gets better results.
It's not the outcomes, it's the inputs. with all of this today, that really is the invite, is to really take a look at your inputs and not just take a look at 'em today. But if there is a place to hyperfocus. It's there on a daily, regular basis. What are your systems? Again, we don't rise to the level of our goals.
We fall to the level of our systems, our focus, our daily time and energy should be put into refining those inputs. Again, outcomes, results gain clarity. But once you have that clarity, the day-to-day work, the process if you will, revolves around inputs. What are you doing? What habits are you creating, refining, how are you building those?
What types of systems are you creating around those? What types of books are you reading? What types of sources are you gathering and acquiring new information and new learning from? What types of questions are you asking? What does your inner DI dialogue look like? Again, the person who consumes from better sources gets better thoughts.
The person who asks better questions, gets better answers, and the person who builds better habits they get better results. So today, again, the reminder is that it's not the outcome. That's not a place to be hyper-focused. Once you've gained clarity, it really boils down to the inputs. What are you doing day to day?
What are you thinking? What are you learning? Those things are the things that truly matter and will truly help you to shrink the gap between where you are now and whatever that result is that you've drafted up for yourself in the near future. Have a great day, everybody, and we'll see you guys next time.
