Hey, what's up everybody? Good morning. My name is Dallas Pruitt and this is the Daily Drip. Sound understanding of foundational principles. Fundamentals, if you will, is a necessity if you truly want to continue to grow in life or in business. One of the foundational principles that we all must become better acquainted with time is becoming, is better than being, becoming has.

No ceiling being well, that's capped off. Learning is endless. Being or know. It all is caused for destruction. Ego, ego can cause us to fall into the trap of being if you aren't careful. That's why self-awareness is such an important skill or trait of impactful leaders in any space. Take a look around. The most impactful people are also the most self.

I'm not talking powerful people. I'm talking true selfless leaders, making real positive exponential impact in their homes, in their industries, and in the world. Today is a reminder to all looking to increase their impact. Titles, power, wealth, these things are all for not if you do not choose to become in the process.

In fact, in the acquisition of titles, power and wealth. Choose to remain. It could be your detriment as well as the detriment to so many others that you surround yourself with day in and day out. The best leaders aren't seeking power over their subordinates, whether that be within a family dynamic, a business, or any other type of team.

the best leaders don't need power. The best leaders don't allow themselves to become blinded by ambition. The best leaders actually swallow their ego daily, and because of that, they become stronger. They become calmer, they become more independent, kinder, and most importantly. More focused and disciplined in regards to what really matters.

So today, ask yourself the fundamental better question. Are you focused on becoming or are you stuck in being? Increase your self-awareness and become a better leader in the process? Have a great day. We'll see you guys back here again tomorrow.
