As Chief Revenue Officer for Axcient, Charlie leads the development, strategy and execution of sales for the cloud backup and data protection product portfolios. He leverages an innovative approach to the channel through a network of market-leading partners and managed service providers (MSPs) with a keen focus on being easy to do business with and believing in integrity in the channel. With more than 20 years of IT and cybersecurity experience, Charlie has deep knowledge of the endpoint, web security and data protection markets and the various channels that sell and support them. He enjoys engaging with partners and end customers across the globe throughout their pre- and post-sale solution lifecycles. Previously, Charlie was vice president of worldwide channel sales at Carbonite and vice president of worldwide business sales at Webroot. Prior to those roles, he served as Senior Director of Worldwide Systems Engineers, Professional Services, and Training at Webroot. Charlie is a five-time CRN Channel Chief (2016-2020), was named to the MSP Mentor Top 250 List 2013 -2014 and was awarded the Channel Partners Circle of Excellence in 2018 for his leadership, vision and innovation in the channel.
