Forty years ago, we believed a man could fly...again. With this year marking the 40th anniversary of SUPERMAN II and this week marking the release of ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE, the MovieFilm boys thought this was a perfect time to take a look back at the Man of Steel’s second big budget movie outing and the ways it foreshadowed what would happen with JUSTICE LEAGUE several decades later. Listen in as we watch the theatrical cut of SUPERMAN II while discussing the additions and subtractions from the Richard Donner cut, all while soaking in Chris Reeve’s second go at the cape-and-tights, and just generally soaking in the nostalgia of an era where a major metropolitan city getting utterly demolished was just good, clean fun.
