To celebrate this week’s arrival of GODZILLA vs. KONG in theaters and streaming, we recorded a commentary track for 1976’s controversial KING KONG remake (which turns 45 this year), produced by Dino De Laurentiis. We go over the project’s troubled production history and its aftermath, and just generally have fun taking in a big budget spectacle from a bygone era.
