Lockout (2012)

I want to tell you a story.  A tale of a young screen writer who set out to craft his masterwork. After years of toiling, he had finished it. His greatest story was filled with social commentary on the overcrowding of prisons, and the inhuman way convicted criminals were treated.  He hoped to shine light on how the government favored the rich and left the poor to fend for themselves.  His name was Luc Besson.  His script, Lockout.  Little did he know that once Hollywood sunk its teeth into his work, it would never be the same.  We here in the draft house, are demanding for the original script to be made into a film.  We are asking everyone to use the hashtag #ReleasetheBassoonCut 

IMDB Synopsis: A man wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president's daughter from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates. Directed by James Mather & Steve Saint Leger Starring Guy Pierce, Maggie Grace, and Lennie James.
