There’s only one thing about a pub that is more important than the drinks that line it, and that’s the conversations that take place within it. And this week at The Moon Under Water the conversation flowed like the rivers of Babylon as Landlord John Robins welcomed comedian, writer and top-class conversationalist Sarah Millican through his doors.

Not only did Sarah choose the 7 drinks that will populate her dream pub, the topic of pub food was also brought up; for she is a carvery aficionado. Is there any better food to accompany a pint than “a quick, huge plate of brown”?
