Monocle’s Fernando Augusto Pacheco speaks with Pierre-Olivier Persin, the lead special make-up effects designer for ‘The Substance’. The gory body-horror satire was nominated for five Baftas and five Oscars, including best picture, best director for Coralie Fargeat, best actress for Demi Moore, and best makeup and hairstyling.
