David Shore is a Canadian writer with a spectacular career in television. Trained as a lawyer Shore worked on Family Law, NYPD Blue and Due South, as well as the critically acclaimed series House and more recently, Battle Creek, Sneaky Pete and The Good Doctor.

In 2018, David received an honorary degree in law from the University of Western Ontario, ironic for a television writer who has produced two of the most successful medical dramas.
