All right, just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, We've got four ways that we make ourselves dumber every day. Is listening to this show one of them? Its top answer survey says, yes, that is on the board. That was number one. No, we're just making ourselves dumber every day now. Number one. What was your guest early social media or something social media related? Yeah, just scrolling on social media. People do dumb on TikTok. Then somebody's like, oh,

I have to try that. That's true. But number one on this list, and this is from psychology today, not treating your brain like it's a muscle. Now, it's not a muscle, but you can train it like one. And most people think of their brain like it's a fixed thing. But studies have shown just keep just knowing you can train your brain and improve cognition tends to make it happen. I did say that word right, didn't like because I wasn't sure question this is what I'm talking about, and

I haven't trained my brain. I should have trained my brain before this segment. But if you don't treat your brain like it's a muscle, you might just slowly decline. So that's true. Are you when they say, like, especially when you get older, you need to keep doing stuff because if you just sit around, that's when you know happening. So are we treating our brains like muscles? Sometimes? I think some games you play? That's right? Okay, all right,

all right, So that's okay. That might be the one thing that we're you know, because number two on the list not getting enough sleep. Yeah, there you go, I probably should be number one. Even just one night of bad sleep can make you dumber. You can probably feel it when it happens. I know, I know we can. Uh. Number three on the list drinking alcohol guilty, you're not just you know, dumber while you drink. Drinking too much and too often can greatly affect brain function long term,

long term. Yeah, so I feel like we have gotten dumber. They're committed to be being a whole dumb asses on that one. Yeah. Yeah, and number four, these are ways we're making ourselves dumber every day. Not having enough structure in your day. Our brains thrive on purpose and deadlines, and you know, without them, we're less focused and less creative. Sound like the hr person putting that in there. Yeah, you're right, the cask needs to be done by there.

You think that was HR, That was HR iHeart Radio. Any more structure in your dad
